Ever so slightly awkward final post to that phase of the mission is now live, so yeah, we're all finally reunited. I think the plan is going to be for just a little bit of downtime before we move forward. I still haven't decided exactly what we're gonna do between just continuing on as is through the plan, or just jumping things ahead to the finale. Floor's open if anyone wants to chime in on this.

In the meantime, Grayson, SAL, Arex, Lataniva, Joe and the various members of the Maelstrom crew minus Kira, Carver, and Marcus are all available to hang out if anyone wants to get something going.

So, to @t2wave@Hawlin@Xandrya@Silver Carrot@Banana@Dealdric@BKburke, we're what remains. I think the best course of action from here is a jump ahead to the final bit of the current mission, I would want one post from everybody, just to close out this chapter of the story, and then we'd time jump ahead several months to continue sans all of those who've dropped. All in favor of this, reply back and let me know, if there's anyone else who doesn't feel like continuing, also reply to let me know, or pm me so your character can be properly written out.

As for the future of Tibulus, I realized a bit ago that being a pilot in a setting sort-of sucks because I'm mainly typing the same shit over and over. Am I mad and gonna leave? Hell no! Y'all need a pilot and I like this setting. So he's staying, and I'm staying too.

I just haven't posted recently. I can do that soon, though, no worries.

Well, I dropped the ball and forgot to tag you all in the latest IC post, and furthermore, it's sort of unfinished. I mean, it's all there, the complete recap of phases 3 and 4 of the plan, we're all ready to start in on the final battle, but that's where I messed up, because I was gonna end it off with specific combat orders and the first bit of the fight, but it's late and I gotta hit the sack, so I'll be back in the morning to fix my big mistake and we can carry on!

Ok everyone, the last IC post has been updated, leading us right into the fight. I got some errands to run, but later this evening, when I get home, I could post again to really, officially kick things off. Until then, here's the basic setup:

Team 1: @Banana@Silver Carrot@BKburke with Stryker, Kira, Lataniva, and Joe. Orders: Scout fortress for anti-air defenses and disable them.
Team 2: @Xandrya with Carver, Arex, Ian, Raisin, Vulcaan, Juli and Jen. Engage rear assault
Team 3: @Hawlin@Dealdric with Grayson, SAL, Marcus, and Harriet. Orders: Engage in frontal assault.
Team 4: (Still on the Revenant) Ace, Seth, Ren, Maxi. Orders: Wait for the all-clear to engage using the ship's weapons.

This is roughly what I'm going for in terms of the valley's appearance, just with obviously a more futuristic look on the fortress:

Alright folks, if I was (still) working at a bar, this here would be last call for alcohol. I just threw up a post in the IC, you can all check that out at your leisure, and so with that up, this signals your last chance to get a post in if you so desire to before I wrap things up and propel us INTO THE FUTURE. I'm gonna be writing out the majority of the finale post over the course of the day (that being Thursday the 30th) assuming I don't get drafted into duty running errands, and no matter what time exactly I finish writing, I'll hold onto it until around this time of night (which right now is about 4:30.. damn it's late, I should be in bed) cuz I gots to watch my hockey game (Go Leafs go) and the team is on a Western road trip this week, so the games don't end until like 1:30am my time. So yes, to make a long story short- final post of this mission, tomorrow night. Anyone needs to post, you got 24 hours... maybe a little longer if I hold off on posting until Friday morning.. which given my track record is likely.

Edit: Like I predicted, post delayed. I had some things to take care of earlier, so I didn't get much time to write, then the hockey game came on and here we are now. Gonna write for a bit now before bed and hopefully get it up before I head out for the night tomorrow evening!

@Crossfire Hi again, I'm sorry mackie and I just disappeared on you guys, things got hectic IRL and we both lost our writing spark for a while... But if you'll still have us, we'd be willing to read through everything again and take up the reins of our characters. Might just take some time. But we'll also understand if you can't fit us into the story again for now.
