NR, I love you to death and you're one of my favorites on RPGuild. But sometimes you can be a weird dude.

Always been a weird dude, my dude. It's what I do. If it wasn't, you'd know that the weird stuff was overdue and we can't have have my previous grains of weird buried in a mundane dune.

Wait, I lied. Tomorrow is Monday. I have D&D tomorrow and Tuesday. Guess I'm writing it all Wednesday, then. Or trying to.

Hmm. So izzat the Curse of Strahd? Or Sthraid? Sthraid Prime? I feel like I'm trying to pronounce Cthulhu when I'm just trying to incorporate a sound from each of your usernames into a single word.

So just for discussion for discussions sake, what's everyones preference over Dialogue-Versus-Action.

I honestly find the Dialogue and the interaction between characters far easier than writing action scenes, especially in Comic Book RPs such as this. I always find my action scenes to be. Meh, at best. Whereas the dialogue is easy, and fun to explore the relationships between these kinds of characters.

Yeah, dialogue has always been a bit easier for me in games like this. I think it's because the characters and their personalities, for the most part, are known quantities so it's easier to write a response to something knowing how they would react to it in the comics.

I know @Morden Man has a very unique style, unique to me anyway, when it comes to writing that I just can't even attempt to try.

By unique, Byrd means that he tried to watch me write a post once and it gave him a pounding headache and a nosebleed.

I've heard that reading them can have the same effect.

Yes it's great to be playing Redhead Lois Lane.

To be fair I was reading some Golden Age Flash and Iris there is reaaaallly bland. I'm basing her off Nu52/Rebirth (not Flarrowverse) with a mix of Wally when he first got his powers.

Sorry for the bit of a Green Lantern dry spell. I write to music, and part of my challenge with transitioning to this new story has been that the sound I have in mind for my Green Lantern has fundamentally changed and it took me a couple of days to nail down just what that sound was.

Now that I've got a playlist going, I should have more ring-slinging in the next day or so.

Yeah I don't know if it's because of modern sensibilities or what, but a lot of the dialogue in Golden/Silver Age comics is just a slog to get through.

I also kind wanted to play a young Grayson still in the circus prior to becoming Robin and work up to becoming Robin. But, I'm having fun writing my X-Force team.

Through the power of Mark Zukerberg's data-farming false god Facebook, I know that today is @AndyC's birthday. For all of you giving me shit about being old, Andy is a few year's older than me so wish him a happy birthday and have at him with the Geritol jokes.
