Digimon... Rise of the Forsaken

Darkness is all that can be found around you… no, describing it like this wouldn’t be appropriate. It’s almost as if the area you are being taken to is void of all human life, or any life for that matter. Your body feels almost empty, numb, and as if there is nothing left inside of you. You know for a fact that your eyes are open, but you can’t see nothing for some reason… almost as if the life in your eyes have been taken as well. You can only rest your head against what you assume to be a bed underneath you.

Maybe you were drugged? Perhaps that’s why you are feeling the way you are. Nonetheless, there were things that weren’t right with the way you were feeling that you couldn’t help but sense that it was because of some sort of drug or toxin. You couldn’t move your body at all, nor could you see, hear, smell, feel…

…or even breath.

“Ohhh! I’m surprised that one of you humans awoken!” spoke a very sharp-pitched and cocky voice, who made it ever so clear as it continued to speak. “I was sure that my calculations were perfect! My calculations are never, and I mean never wrong! That just must mean you are an anomaly in the system, yes? Or perhaps… it just means you humans are just stronger than I had anticipated… Hm… Masters won’t be pleased if I don’t make the adequate adjustments pronto! I suppose I’ll have to write in a new rule in the protocols for any other anomalies in the system for information to be sent straight to me.” As the voice finished speaking, you realized to yourself how you could hear, when at first you could not.

“My, my, you’re probably wondering what’s going on, aren’t you, my little friend? Don’t you worry! Here, I’ll turn on these visual sensors that I have linked on my end, and you can see exactly what we have done to you, Human,” cackled the voice as a few buttons could be heard… almost as if they were rather far away.

This… ‘thing’… is supposed to be you? Where… where is all of your long blonde hair? What about your blue eyes that mom and dad used to say made you look beautiful? There’s nothing in your sockets… just… nothingness as you slowly blink your eyelids over where your once beautiful eyes used to be. The ‘thing’ before you has barely to little meat left on its bones… hell… to say that there’s even any skin on this thing anymore would be too kind. It’s an abomination is what this thing is… but what makes it even worse, is the fact that you know the you’re looking at yourself… Moments ago you were going to bed, looking at yourself in the mirror wearing your night gown… and now… you’re ‘this’.

“Amazing how I, the great Datamon can be so efficient! I never cease to amaze myself, heh! Unlike all those Commandramon I’m an intelligent Digimon who has strong powers! While I may not be much compared to the Masters, I won’t be letting you little Humans interfere with their plans no I won’t!” chuckled Datamon as he tapped the pod where you were contained in. “Now then… it is time for you go back to sleep, Human… for we will be using you, along with all the others to create the ultimate Digimon!”

Everything fades back to black… you can’t see yourself no more, nor can you hear anything no more… Your conscious slowly begins to fade as you try to move what is left of your stubby arms to console yourself and cry. Before you fully fall back into your slumber due to the drugs… you let out a silent thought…

”Save us… all of us from this suffering…”

Somewhere else in the strange structure...

Something stirred up within him before causing Killian’s eyes to burst wide open. He looked around, and saw that he was on a bed. He looked around him and saw that the room was metallic with strange lights and that there were seven other people lying in beds also with breathing masks on. It took him a while to realize that he too was wearing a breathing mask… but it was not oxygen that he was breathing. Immediately he gripped it and flung it away, before coughing loudly… and before vomiting onto the floor.

Pushing himself up, he began catching his breath, and looked over at the other people who were in the room with him. This was definitely not the cabin he was in back at camp, nor were these his fellow staff members. To him, they were… well, kids, even though he was sure they were close to his age. Still, he decided to do his duty and do what he could and start by removing the gas masks… He looked at all the others and noted them all in his head: A normal looking guy with school clothes who seemed pretty chill actually; a girl with a necklace and a headband with long black hair who looked nice; a guy wearing goggles with a very peculiar sense of fashion… nonetheless interesting; another normal looking guy, although someone with a serious aura who just happens to wear glasses; a girl with a red scarf and some simple clothes… although something seems warm about her; a boy with a rather cute face along with turquoise hair to match; and lastly a red-headed girl with a rather… odd bracelet.

“Jeez… they’re all really out of it, aren’t they…?” mumbled Killian to himself as he sighed, before looking around again. This place didn’t feel right, not one bit. Something was horribly wrong with this place and he knew that he had to get out of there as soon as possible. Though, he couldn’t leave the others there… they would be just like him were they to wake up. He then noticed a rather large garbage chute. Well, he could throw them all down there and hope that the chute leads to an exit rather than a furnace.

Laughing to himself, he heard something loud from behind him… “Razor-Stryker!” shouted a metallic voice from the double-doors before a lizard-like broke through and crashed into the floor. “Take that Commandramon! You guys may be strong with your guns and what not, but you won’t stop me in saving my Tamer!” roared the robot with the blade on its arm as it hopped over the lizard soldier and towards Killian. “Hey! I found you, my Tamer! I’ve been looking all over for you in this place!”

“What the hell are you, and what the hell is that thing,” he pointed towards the lizard, “ and just what the hell is going on here?!”

“Lot of crazy stuff, lots of big and nasty Digimon are capturing Tamers for something... I was able to infiltrate their base like the ninja cyborg warrior I am… and I found you, my Tamer!” spoke the machine cyborg as it pointed at Killian.

“Again, what?!”

“…Oh yeah, you’ve probably been doped up I assume… Hm… Oh well, don’t worry about it, just take this, it’s supposed to be some sort of ancient device… the Digimon in my village call them Digivices. The golden Digivice was the one that was signaling to me your location… which means that this is yours, and that you are my Tamer!”

“Seriously, little guy, I have no idea what you are talking about, but if I take this will you explain things to me?”

“Yeah, yeah, just take it already, will you!” shouted the robot as he thrust forward the Digivice into Killian’s hands. “Anyway, I’m Jehumon, a Digimon, but you can just call me Jehu boss! But anyway, we’re in a really bad place where the Forsaken have taken root in… we need to get out of here and quick!”

“What about the others? We can’t just leave them here!”

“I know that we can’t leave them here, but I didn’t come here for them, I came here for you… uh… what’s your name again?”

“It’s Killian, and we are rescuing at least these guys before we do anything else!”

“Oh fine! But I think we might not be able to exit the same way we came in… because there’s a lot more of those Commandramons coming!” exclaimed Jehu as he quickly pushed Killian into the room and threw the fallen Commandramon at the incoming others, knocking them down temporarily. “Hurry up and figure out how to get us out of here, Killian! Oh, and don’t forget to give out the rest of those Digivices!”

“You act like I know who the hell they belong to!”

“Just believe in yourself while I believe in the one who is buying you some time; me! Resonance Jammer!” shouted Jehu as he began firing off a loud sound wave from his antenna, dazing the oncoming Commandramon while slicing the stunned ones with his Razor-Stryker.
Gritting his teeth and freaking out, Killian placed a green Digivice onto the normal looking and chill boy; a black Digivice into the pocket girl with a necklace; a brown Digivice onto the boy with the goggles; a purple Digivice into the pocket boy wearing glasses; a white Digivice onto the girl wearing a red scarf; a pale Blue Digivice into the pocket boy with the cute face; and lastly a silver Digivice onto the girl with red hair and the odd wrist accessory thing. As soon as that was finished, he grabbed all of their things and placed them within a large bag before sealing it tight.

There was only one option that he could think of for getting them all out of there safe…sort of. He turned towards the garbage chute, and decided that it was their best option. Loading everyone onto a single bed by laying them on top of one another and putting the bag with all of their stuff on. Killian then shouted towards Jehu before charging forward towards the chute with the bed. “Jehu! Time to go!”

“It is- Dear lord, why are they all laying on each other like that in such… such positions?!” gasped Jehu as he quickly flied towards Killian.

“I couldn’t fit them any other way without hurting them so… I did it like that! Now come on!” he roared as he charged into the garbage chute… and as all of them went falling down.

Sometime Later…

“That… was perhaps the worst experience of my life…” said Killian as he sat by the campfire and as he started cooking up something to eat with the supplies that he had from his emergency supplies.

“Well you thought it was a garbage chute… it was actually a drainage pipe,” murmured Jehu as he handed Killian his shirt back. “Still, I don’t understand why you asked me clean everyone up, and freshen up their clothes for them, but save yours for last when you’re my Tamer.”

“I don’t know… maybe because I suspect that I may be the oldest… and, well, it’s just my nature to be a nice guy and to make sure that everyone else is okay before me. Besides, standing here naked and cooking stew was quite the experience,” Killian murmured as he put on his clothes.

“Heh, if you say so. Anyway, how come they haven’t woken up yet?”asked Jehu as he pointed towards where the others now laying comfortably around the fire.

“Good question… maybe they had a bigger dose than I did? Although, it shouldn’t be too long now till one of them wakes up I hope. In the meantime, let’s just wait it out here till we’re all awake, get some food in us, and then we can figure out what to do next.”

With the last of the anesthetic gone from her system, it was only a matter of time before the girl awoke.

The air around her was warm as she opened her eyes, but her body felt spent and beaten; she could barely move as she let out a groan of fatigue, as she pulled herself to.
Her mind was empty, clear of any memory that would help her determine where she was. Her eyes adjusted to the light of the nearby fire quickly, however, and she pulled herself up into a sitting position.

She realized her clothes felt uncomfortable as she looked around; as she looked around at all the people laid out around the roaring fire. Only one was awake; and he hadn't seemed to have noticed her yet.
She'd come along to help out on her school's camping trip; it was a memory that suddenly jumped into her head. A memory that served to keep her calm as her addled brain struggled to recover from whatever had happened to her.

And so she spoke; hesistantly and groggily, but speech nonetheless.

"Whuh- whuzz goin' on?" She asked, slurring her words as she suddenly realized how dry her mouth was.

Killian and Jehu both turned towards the waking girl as she groaned and murmured her question aloud.

"...Uh, who exactly should answer that, because I sure as hell don't fully understand what's going on here," said Killian as he scratched his head a bit before looking towards Jehu.

"Fine, I'll be the one to inform the young lady," said the 'dog' as it stood up, revealing itself to be more cyborg and humanoid, despite having a dog-like head. "This is the Digital World! A pretty awesome place where I, a Digital Monster lives, but you can call us Digimon for short, we prefer being called that anyway. Although, all Digimon obviously have a species name, and some even have unique names. My species is Jehumon, but my unique name is Jehu... kinda odd, but hey, I like it! Anyway, back to all of this, don't be afraid of me, I'm one of the good Digimon, although, there are plenty of bad Digimon out there."

"Like those lizard things... what were they again?" asked Killian as he started to pour some stew into a bowl.

"Commandramon, just some Rookie level Digimon who aren't that scary. There are weaker Digimon, and far stronger ones as well though, so we have to be careful. Right now we're just waiting for everyone to wake up, get something to eat and get to know one another before we get as far away from the tower as we can," murmured Jehu as he pointed towards a dark and sinister looking tower not too far away. "I'm sure they're sending some Digimon after us, but for now we're safe."

"Yeah... Anyway, want some? I've been keeping this warm so that everyone will wake up to a nice warm meal especially after the... well, change of scenery," said Killian before handing the girl a bowl of warm stew.

"Heh... you got that right, sure beats the scenery you woke up into in there, didn't you? Also, what about what we found in the-"

"Jehu..."

"Sorry... Anyway, you can thank Killian, my Tamer here for rescuing you, and everyone else here! I went in to rescue him since his Digivice was calling out to him, and he decided to rescue those he could despite the risks," said Jehu before looking back towards the girl. "Sooooo... Just let all that sink in, don't freak out on us... if you have any questions, I can do my best to answer them!"

Young Fleur began to awaken... Most of his body felt rather stiff, his mind was still groggy. He could hear voices and felt the heat from a fire place. He began to remember falling asleep in front of his homes fire place. With the return of his strength, he opened his eyes and stood up, seeing an unfamiliar couple and a small robot, it didn't startle him, he assumed it was simply a robot toy.
"Ah ! Où ... Où suis-je ? Ce qui se passe ?" He questioned them on where they were and what was going on.

It was then that he realised he wasn't at home.
"AH ! Ce n'est pas ma maison ! Qui êtes-vous tous !?" They looked at him strangely, could they not understand him? He decided to try speaking English, a language he had been learning to speak, since its a common language to speak.

"Erm, Haylo, hu, are yu? Whar, am I?"

Killian quickly turned around and realized that another one was waking. Quickly pouring some more soup into a bowl, he decided to leave Jehu to with the girl while he tried to explain what he picked up from Jehu to the boy. He wasn't too sure if the boy knew how to speak English, or even understand it properly, but he was going to give it a decent try. Back at camp he had to deal with a lot of things, so communicating wasn't that bad for him.

"My name is Killian, the robot there is... well, a Digimon apparently, and his name is Jehu. I'm not entirely too sure where we are at, but I do know that we are not on Earth. Jehu says that we are in his world, the Digital World. Oh, and here's some stew to warm you up, I'm sure you're probably hungry," said Killian with a kind smile before handing the young boy the bowl.

"Heh, your English is a bit rusty, but thankfully I can understand you pretty well. I may not know much about what exactly is going on here, but do ask me any questions, and I'll do my best to answer them." He said as he sat down next to the boy with a bright smile on his face.

Annabeth had, in truth, been awake for a while, feigning sleep in order to ascertain her surroundings. As such, she had been lying limp, forcefully keeping her eyes closed and her breath natural, even as she felt herself being moved.

Yes, even as Killan put one head over her breasts and another's head between her legs. "It was the only way" bullocks.

Still, she did not stir, just in the slightest possibility that there was some danger or some sort of trick.

Staying on the bed and listening to the explanations of some sort of "digiworld," Annabeth began to weight her options even as she continued to feign sleep, thinking of all that she had learned so far. In all honesty, part of it felt like a bad dream but the other half, her more logical side, knew that this was no such thing. And she also knew she had to take action. Others were waking with no consequences so far. She could cease the acting.

As such, she opened her eyes - blinking a few times to adjust to the light - and pushed herself off of the bed with much more finesse and strength than a newly awakened person should be able to muster and with not a single trace of fatigue and sleep in her eyes.

"Good morning." she said plainly.

The bursts of gunfire sounded dull in the omnipresent darkness. They were followed by shouts and screams that faded too quickly, as if strangled by the shadow. She couldn’t move but she felt like she was drowning, the weight of the void pushing down on her.

Her stomach lurched and the sound of rushing water roared into her senses. Its echoes left her head spinning. The constant flashes of light passing by meant she was in a tunnel, but she was moving too fast for her foggy mind to understand anything else. It was taking ages to put together another coherent observation or thought. She searched for words – they were gone. Yet clarity seemed to be returning: each bump was sharper than the last, and she could see that she was lying down on something hard, cold. If she didn’t hold on, she would fall off. Her hand settled on an iron bar next to her head.

She had to figure out what was happening. Again, the darkness swallowed her whole.
As soon as she awoke, Arista sat up straight and yawned. Her body was sore, her arms still heavy with sleep. She tried to blink away the disturbing nightmare she’d had by forcing herself to be alert. It seemed she was in a wooded area. For some reason her hair was damp, and she was wearing her school uniform. The last thing Arista remembered was walking home after a long night at the library. So how did she get here? Where was she?

A metallic voice behind her answered. Arista froze and listened on, incredulous at the conversation she was hearing. She turned herself around and was even more shocked to find that the voice belonged to a cyborg thing.

"So that drain was real? What were we escaping from?" She was surprised at how calmly she addressed the… thing. Arista noticed a guy and a girl, as well as others who were sleeping. A flush rose in her cheeks as she realized how demanding she had sounded.

Trip wasn’t sure what to make of all of this. He remembers being a camp — not that he really enjoyed being there in the first place — but it was still the last thing he remembered. Everything after that was really fuzzy, Trip vaguely remembers something about a pipe. He can’t really recall the specifics, but he also remembered gunfire of sorts, but that could be his bad memory playing tricks on him. He woke up by a fire in front of seven strangers he didn’t know. To make matters worse, there was some mechanical, talking monster. Trip didn’t do well with crowds and even worse when one of them looks frightening.

As he would groggily get himself into a sitting-up position, Trip would shake his head slightly, wiping the specs of dirt from his eyes. He would look around. He would see that a few of them would wake up, when the first one spoke, that prompted the little robot thing to explain the entire situation. Trip would listen, though he was definitely still wary of anything that looked like that it shouldn’t talk, but did. However, as the little bot would explain it all, Trip came to a place of slight understanding. It definitely was something to consider. The little robot in front of them is apart of a race known as Digital Monsters, but prefer the term Digimon and each of them have their own name and belong their respective species. That much Trip could understand, but why was he here and why the heck did he have a brown device?

Trip would shake his head, look to those who were awake already, and he would try to get a few words out. “Um, so, yeah, what exactly are these things?” Trip asked nervously as he held up the brown device that he woke up to find in his hand.

Orion had been at his computer until everything went dark. Was he asleep? Did he really pass out writing code for his class? He had to admit that writing the code wasn't his favorite part but it wasn't like it was so boring that he would have passed out at his desktop writing it. No. Something else was going on because his body felt numb and their had been loud noises all around him and he had smelled a horrible smell at some point. But those things weren't the weirdest things....his dreams in between each of those things were all ones and zeros. Computer code a language called Binary. He would see them for a,little bit then a sensation would kick back in. This time after seeing the binary code his body felt semi-normal again. He began to blink open his eyes, surprisingly his glasses were still on bent but still on, and he began to hear people talking as the numbers flashed before his eyes once more. His head was killing him suddenly and he winced in pain. Raising his hand to his head he felt a wet spot and brought it back to his face. Blood. He was bleeding from a place that he needed the most. Orion was now hyper aware of everything around him. He looked over quickly at the others that had woken. "Hey! Where the hell are we and who the hell are you people!" He had to admit that that probably wasn't the best way to start things out but he was bleeding and had no idea what the hell was going on. He had caught a small bit about this being a digital world and there were monsters in it. What the hell? Monsters!? He then looked over and saw Jehu. He pointed a finger at him and was caught in a silent scream until he had to outburst. "What the hell is that!?" He was freaking out a little...well a lot because his brain couldn't make sense of what he was seeing but he smelled and felt everything so this was real but his brain couldn't comprehend that.

It was then confirmed they only spoke english, as more awakened amd spoke. Its a good thing Fleur can read and understand a few other languages, including English. An older boy, with striking white hair. He introduced himself, showed some concern, and explained what he knew about the current situation.
He then gave Fleur some sort of stew. Im normal casesc Fleur disliked stew, but this was... Satasfactory, he didn't find the taste due to how cold and hungry he was.
"Oui, merci..." After tasting the stew, his body warmed up and became slightly more invigorated.
"Oh mon dieu! Fantastique !"

Fleur ate more of the stew whilst the others conversed and awoken, observing and trying to stay out of the way.

"* Ugh my head*" The first thing Danny noticed after he woke up was a guy in glasses freaking out over something. After getting up,he also noticed some other kids sitting around a fire as well as something that looked like a miniature humanoid fighter jet. After a few seconds his brain finally registered that this wasn't normal at all. Rather than join Glasses in his freak out he forced himself to remain calm, after all they didn't seem like kidnappers and if they wanted to hurt him they could have done so while he was asleep. However to make sure he tried to remember how he got here. Unfortunately he could remember having some fun behind the computer while his parents were away. Luckily for him though, whatever brought him here also provided some clothes even if he had never seen this set before.

Anyway since Danny was sure the others heard him earlier there was no reason for him to pretend to be still out of if, so he got up and walked to the group around the campfire. " Enig idee wat er aan de hand is?" As soon he said it he realized they might not speak Dutch, so he switched to a language they hopefully did know. "Sorry about taht, EI meant any idee what's going on?"

"Morning to you too," Killian said with a smile as he noticed Annabeth waking up. "Yes, the drain was real, and we were escaping from... well, bad Digimon who wanted to do bad things to us apparently. As for the drainage pipe..." Killian nodded his head as he turned towards Arista. While it wasn't pleasant being in there for obvious reasons... what he saw while he and Jehu were dragging everyone made him vomit a few times. They didn't need to know that at all. "...Yeah, that was real as well. Sorry for any bumps or bruises though, it couldn't be helped since that was our only escape."

Patting Fleur on the head, and letting him to eat the stew at his own pace, he turned towards Jehu before going to get more bowls as others started waking up and asking questions. "Okay... I don't think I can explain this properly to everyone... Jehu? Do you mind?"

"Ugh, fine boss, I'll be doing all the explaining!" groaned Jehu in a rather bored voice as Killian poured more stew and began handing them out to those who were awaken. "First of all... " Jehu pointed angrily at Orion, "...will you calm yourself! If you were in any danger, do you think you think you would be having my Tamer's food and be next to a warm fire with others in the same position as yourself?! No! So calm yourself! Also, for your information, I am a Digimon for the the tenth time!"

"It hasn't been that many times..." mumbled Killian as he approached Orion, before noticing a bit of blood on his head. "Crap... you're wounded. Don't move too much and try to relax, lemme get my emergency bag and let me see what I can do," he said as he quickly placed him a bowl of stew before running off to get his emergency bag, before returning to tend to Orion's head injury. "I just met Jehu a few hours ago myself, and I know he can be weird... but, he's not bad. Just try to stay calm, alright?" said the white-haired young man as he smiled before proceeding to bandage the wound.

"Anyway..." it was then that Jehu noticed a new one waking up- Danny - and caused him to let out what was close to a sigh, "...as I was saying as to what was going on, we are in the Digital World where Digimon, or Digital Monsters reside in. I am one of those Digimon, however, I am not an evil monster, I'm a good guy. The evil Digimon in the tower, however, wanted to do bad things to you," Jehu then pointed towards the sinister tower a fair distance away, "what they want to do to you there, I'm not one-hundred percent sure... but it's... something very bad. Anyway, to explain why you guys are not in there and are instead out here, is because I busted in there to rescue my Tamer like the cyborg ninja I am when his Digivice was signaling that he was in danger! Which leads me to," Jehu then quickly turned towards Trip, pointing at his brown Digivice, "what you're holding there! Those are Digivices that Tamers, or Digidestined are suppose to have. They are a symbol of one's status that they are capable of having a Digimon partner! Since Killian, who is my Tamer, was in trouble and I was near his Digivice, it led me to him and I was able to rescue him. Now before you ask why you all have one as well is because Killian handed them to you randomly before deciding to rescue you all. The Commandramons stormed the the room while he took us through the drainage pipes on top of a bed."

"Sorry about that," Killian said as he finished tending to Orion, "I know it wasn't the most pleasant of escapes... but it was the best one I could think of at the time with what was going on."

"Anyway, now that we are a fair distance away from the tower, we should rest up and make our way to the closest Digimon village where I have some friends who I am sure you will all be happy to meet! Although, we should be quick, since I'm sure the Forsaken will be sending some Digimon after us..."

"But in the meantime... let's rest up, and get to know one another as best as we can, and try to recover our strength. The bipedal jetplane thing here is Jehumon... or Jehu, for short, and I'm apparently his Tamer, Killian. It's nice to meet you all," spoke the young man with a warm smile, trying his best to make everyone comfortable in the group.

Evidently, the girl had been more doped up than the others, as she only nodded dumbly as Killian and Jehumon erupted into explanation after explanation after explanation. She took the stew she was given and just held it as her addled brain struggled to comprehend anything that was going on.

She remembered now; her school had been organizing the camping trip for the lower forms, and she'd volunteered to come along and help for a chance to get out the house and get to know people a little better. The surroundings weren't a shock to her, but as for everything else... she had to be dreaming, That was the only way her brain could rationalize anything in its current state.

Moments passed in the real world, but they seemed to crawl by slowly for her. Others woke up and began to talk, but she hardly paid them any mind. She just stared into the stew.
And then as Jehumon began to speak again, reality came crashing down on her like a strike from a hammer.

Her brain rushed into action, suddenly comprehending the information it had been given. The heat from the stew she'd just dropped jolted her further; and it was at that point she realized it wasn't a dream.

She jumped up, gritting her teeth and holding in a yelp as the stew burned away at her pant leg. Her eyes widened and her breath deepened.
After a long, pregnant pause, she turned to look directly at Jehumon; and her wide-eyed stare quickly evolved into something of a glare.

"Okay, back up here," She started, her voice still shaky, but now carrying clear undertones of a heated irritation, "What the fresh fucking hell is going on here? What does this bullshit have to do with m- with us? (She quickly added, as she fully realized she wasn't the only one here besides Killian)"

Digimon and Digivices- alright. Sure. She'd watched enough crazy Japanese bullshit to not be completely overwhelmed by this kind of thing. But this was reality, and then there was this thing about 'the tower' and people doing things to them- what the actual and utter fuck?

Jehu gave off what was again as close to a mechanical sigh as he possibly could. "Did you not just hear what I just said, girl? We are in the DIGITAL WORLD. You are no longer in the Human World, or Earth. You were kidnapped from your world and brought into our world because you are Tamers... or Digidestined because of your ability to partner up with Digimon with the Digivices you have. From what Killian and I know so far, we suspect that they are trying to harness the power that you Tamers have for some reason... what is that reason, we don't know. Since the tower appeared, the Digital World has been more connected to the Human World, it's a bit nerve-wrecking if you ask me."

"Yeah... like I said, as of now, Jehu and I can't give many answers... the only thing that we can do is try and answer any questions to the best of our ability, but we have to remain calm, and probably stick together... I doubt there are other good Digimon out there like Jehu, and we can't defend ourselves against whatever may be out there in this world when we don't have any idea what exactly lives here..."

"Digimon live-"

"I meant... we don't know what to expect."

"Oh, right, right... Anyway, I'm getting really, and I mean really tired of repeating myself... so please, if there are any other questions not relating to what is going on, ask them now?" groaned Jehu as he rubbed his head.

Kidnapped, digital world, digital monsters. Frankly, to Annabeth, it all sounded like a dream. Or some sort of nightmare. However, the bumps and movements she had felt while feigning sleep made it clear that this was no dream; and that instead it was reality.

However, a part of her still refused to accept it. Almost unconsciously, she reached into her pocket, feeling around for the item that, if this was all true, then should be in her possession. A moment later, she brought her hand up and felt the touch of the black digivice.

It was true. It was all real. As much as she wished it was not, it was not real.

"...how do we get back?" she finally asked in a quiet voice.

"Oh, give me a fucking break," Catherine snapped at Jehumon as he got short with her, the uneasiness gone from her voice as her glare grew nuclear, "You think you could have mentioned this BEFORE spouting off all that other bullshit? If you're going to get high and mighty with me, at least get a goddamn clue first!"

If it wasn't patently obvious the girl was pissed off before, it most definitely was now. Jehumon's manner had obviously snapped something in that head of hers- so it was fortunate that Killian took the opportunity to speak practically and try and defuse the situation.

Catherine remembered Jehumon mentioning something about Killian getting them out of wherever it was they'd been to begin with; between that and the line he took now, the girl seemed to be willing to trust him. At the very least, as he spoke, the glare that could have melted steel cooled off a bit, and as the two finished talking, the girl just sighed and looked down at the ground.

Where she saw a glint of silver.

"So, we're Tamers?" She asked, as she reached down to pick up what she realized must have been her... Digivice? "We've got our own annoying little bastards to deal with?"

Jehu's 'eyes' glowed a bit before he turned towards Killian. "Are you sure it was a good idea to-"

"Don't even finish that sentence Jehu, that's mean," barked Killian as he thumped his Digimon on the head. "I assume that we are all Tamers considering we all have Digivices... and that we'll all get to meet our own partners very soon, right, Jehu?"

"Hopefully," Jehu groaned as he rubbed his head.

"Speaking of getting back home..." continued Killian as he addressed Annabeth's question, "...how do we get back home, Jehu?"

"Simple. The same way you came in, from the top of the tower probably... Although, now that I think about it, it's not as simple as it would seem. The Forsaken reside within there, along with the Commandramon army, and some serious sinister Digimon... and strong ones too. There's no way that we'll be able to get in there the way we are now... considering we're at a very weakened state. It'll take a full team of fully adult-leveled Digimon and an army of allies if we are to have any hope of storming and taking over that evil place..." spoke Jehu in an extremely troubled voice. "Seriously, that place is really bad news... and no one ever goes near it..."

Orion stopped freaking out when Killian came over and realized his wound. Orion started to process things differently now that he was being bandaged. When Killian was done Orion sat up and looked over at the tower.

"So we aren't the only once that were kidnapped were we?" Ones and zeros flashed before his eyes again. "So is anyone else getting flashes of Binary code in front of them." If this was a digital world then maybe something was going on in his head. He didn't think that one could be digitally converted into code. He also never imagined a world inside a computer before would actually exist and that beings called digimon would inhabit it.

Orion took hold on the device called a digivice. "So this thing is some kind of tool that links you to Killian and there are others like you? But they are different than you as in different species or genus." Again another flash. Orion shook it off and looked over everyone then back to Killian. "I don't think it would be safe here for very long. If these evil digimon were on Jehu as fast as they were then we probably need to move as soon as everyone is able." Orion stood shakily and went over to the others. "I don't mean to override your current authority Killian or Jehumon but logically speaking we have been here for too long already." Orion sat "I will however take a bowl of food while everyone else gets their bearings. Oh and I do apologize for my rudeness earlier. Logic dictated that none of this was possible and that a talking fighter jet with legs was a figment of my imagination or a possible problem within the hemispheres of the brain from the injure I received. It looks as though that this is actually possible unless we are all in some highly advanced virtual reality type game and something has gone wrong with the programming which has led us to forgetting that we were invited to test it." Orion stopped rambling as he took a bit. The food was good but he hated the circumstances of which he was in as well as the others.

"Seeing binary code...? Jehu, any idea in that regards?"

"Probably due to the injury caused by his head. Once he's recovered he'll probably be fine, I suspect. Also, he's right in suggesting that we need to get going fast, as I mentioned earlier I believe, there is a Digimon village not too far from here that we can go to and rest at, along with some friends that I know who are waiting for me. As to answer you question as to different species..." Jehu sighed once again, "yes... there are other types of Digimon besides me. For example, my personal name is Jehu of the Jehumon species, while there could be a Draga of the Agumon species. Anyway, neither Killian nor I actually have any authority here, I'm just following Killian in protecting and watching over you guys. And don't worry about earlier, it happens... but do be warned, this is no game, this is very much real."

"Once everyone has filled their bellies and regained some strength, let's head out towards that village and meet up with Jehumon' friends and see what else we can find out... and hopefully we can figure out what to do next. Does that sound good to everyone?" asked Killian.

Listening intently as she took measured gulps from the soup Killian had given her, Arista attempted to put together everything Jehumon was saying. She knew that everything he was saying was true, not because the Digimon was making any sense, but because of the conviction he spoke with. Especially when he had pointed out the spire looming in the distance.

She loosened her scarf and a white Digivice fell into her lap. No wonder her scarf had been pulled so tight. Another reminder of how real all this was. If the tower was the only way to get home and Jehumon was right, then everyone would be here for a long time. Amassing some kind of army would take months, and Arista could only think about how she had a couple exams in the coming weeks. There was nothing that could be done about that now, and she knew better than to voice her discontent about it.

Arista stood up and patted some imaginary grime off her skirt. She straightened herself and addressed the entire group. "We should get going. I guess we can collect ourselves when we’re on safer ground. I’m Arista, by the way." She’d learn all their names en route to the village.
