IC:

Amy paused in her eating, swallowing and wishing she had something to drink. Still, Lauren had gone out of her way to bring food, so she shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth. "No, even when we still had Trad... I was the only one who took armory. None of us could exactly fix our weapons if they broke, so I figured someone should."

Not that the Fury ever needed fixing. She had to give the person who had built it credit, the chain retraction unit and gun barrels almost seemed to oil themselves, and the spear and shield were as tough as any she'd seen despite being built in sections. It should be fantastic for what she paid for it... All of her savings from six months of working.

Gratia Mindaro - Cafeteria

"Your hair could fucking burn for all I care," she replied tonelessly. "But not until I sate my interest in it."

The assumption that Schwarz' strange hair situation was associated with his emotional state was one based on very little evidence, the only sign having been the surprise on his face earlier. But it was a hypothesis that had greater basis than any other shitty idea that could pop up. And Gratia was going to prove that her hypothesis was correct. By all fucking means necessary.

"My dorm, straight after classes, " she continued, standing from her chair with remarkable solemn grace. "DoN'T be tardy."

And once again, she was the stoic Mistralese huntress, walking away into the crowd with nary another word.

Luke Schwarz -- Fallout

He said nothing as the daughter of Mistral vanished into the crowd, leaving him once more at his lonesome at the table. Instead, his eyes merely widened, a touch more than imperceptibly so, and his mind had raced. Sure, it was no doubt rooted in innocent intentions and nothing more, but the pure fact of the matter had remained all too clear for the fistic Hunter, whether changed by context or not.

Sh-She just invited me to her room!

D o u s h i o

Despite the message being laden with Mindaro's characteristic verbal abuse (or perhaps instead simple freight-train bluntness), nonetheless the study subject in question found his ears burning and cheeks no doubt taking a slightly rosy tinge. Purely scientific intentions or not, that was really fast! Wasn't he little more than an acquaintance to her?! A guy going into a girl's room may not have normally been a big deal due to the team-to-dorm structure of this Academy, but being invited had an entirely different meaning!

What should he do?

Should he clean up beforehand? Be sure to spray some extra deodorant? Should he bust out his nice clothes? No, she said straight after classes, so they'd both be in uniform...

Sc-School Uniforms!

Eyes bugging, he shook his head vigorously, smashing them shut and sending his growing locks to and fro. He was getting ahead of himself, losing his cool. This would go nowhere!

Slow down, slow down, slow down!

Get it together, man!

With a deep breath, he rose as the bell indicating the beginning of passing period rang, tossing his scraps of remaining food and used plates in the necessary bins. Bag locked in an iron grip, he proceeded down the halls to Armory, forcing his head to cool.

I am just an acquaintance, and I'm no more special than anyone else to her. The only reason this is happening is because my hair sparked her curiosity.

This was the honest truth of the matter. While the thoughts had been fun to entertain, he was far too cowardly and far too savvy to try and bring them to life through action. After all, he was too much of a coward to seriously go as far as to dress up for the occasion of meeting a friend in her room. That was the sort of thing you never lived down.

Showing up right after class as requested-- More like ordered. -- was all he needed to worry about.

------------------

One short and convenient timeskip later, and Schwarz found himself in Chatsworth's Armory class, plopped somewhere in the mix near Cian and half of BASL and idly toying with his watches as class began. Armory. He could see why his teammate had opted for this one easily: being essentially entirely reliant on Byakko, it behooved her to know the ins-and-outs of both her weapons and those she could potentially encounter, and likely be called upon to deal with, on missions. It made perfect sense, and the class could only do her good.

Him, on the other hand, he was primarily a fist-fighter using weapons that, while in good condition and reliable, were hand-me-downs passed onto him from his mother. Ones that he used with a decent deal of proficiency, but had long ago concluded would be best served by being passed onto the middle child as opposed to the eldest.

As such, he would, for now, need to learn how to make them work for him, as there was no turning back.

Or is there?

I wouldn't be surprised if we learned forgery...

He visibily perked up a tad, pupils dilating ever so slightly. Learning to shape steel, to fold it upon itself to reduce impurities...

I'll do so one thousand times!

"How do you think this one's gonna play out, Cian? Can't be worse than Math, right?"

Or history, despite Professor Oobleck's best efforts at both slowing things down and keeping them concise...

Robert Fallson - Let's roll out!

Upon hearing the bell ring for the end of the lunch period, Robert waved to his teammates and proceeded towards the exit to make his way to Grimm Studies with Professor Port. After walking about 20 feet away though, he suddenly froze in mid-step, his left leg still raised to take another step, and pivoted on his right heel. He had turned a complete 180 degrees and was no walking back toward where he had been just standing in front of Vixi, Delta, and Grane, a facial expression of slight embarrassment on his face.

"I just thought of something. Do any of you have Grimm Studies next as well. I forgot to ask what everyone's classes were. It doesn't make much sense for all of us to separate now if some of us are going to meet up at the same destination," he said. As he waited for his three teammates to answer his question, Robert began to rock back and forth on balls of his feet. Sitting still, or even standing apparently, was not a skill the red-haired teen seemed to posses. Nevertheless, his facial expression was one of patience, not one of boredom or agitation.

A Few Minutes Before Class||Starting Line

”That Vixi was pretty nice! I guess I really do look authentic~!” Delta heard from the pouch attached to his pocket. He only offered up a succinct ”Mhmm.” while he stared out at the scene sect off by panes of glass. At the familiar’s recounting of one of his comrades, he too thought back to the entire duration of lunch. It was way more hectic than calming, really. It was almost too much to take in. The boy had told his team that he was going to explore a portion of the campus before classes started, but answered Robert’s question before taking his leave.

”Yes, I have Grimm Studies next. I’ll see you guys there, going to look around the campus for a bit.” Delta stated in a slightly hurried tone. In reality, he just needed a place to recollect his thoughts, albeit the lively hallway of students rushing to class wasn’t the best option on the list, he didn’t want to venture too far into the unknown. His mind was overwhelmed with the myriad of experiences he bared witness to in such a short span of time. There was his team, Gren’s celebratory party, even just bluntly the whole entire change in scenery. But there was also something else floating in his mind, weaving its way between other thoughts in hopes of not being spotted…

Eve scrutinized the boy, who was currently a passenger on the train of thought that lacked a conductor. It was rare to see Delta deep in musing. Usually his mind operated on a candid algorithm that stemmed out further and further based on simple yes or no prompts. The familiar was at least able to hazard a guess as to why the new students was lost in contemplation.

Eve had already acclimated to the school theme, after all, it loved talking to other people and absorbing and storing any information deriving from them. But Delta, on the other hand, must have a lot on his plate. It’s not like he stayed up every night, gazing up at the scattered beacons of light high up in the sky, hoping one maverick would suddenly deviate from its sedentary state and speed across the celestial scape, just so he can become another proponent of a groundless belief. One moment, he was a boy trained to think nothing but the view down his optics and the men beside him, the next he was a college student. The same mindset applied, it was just the way that things were displayed was what confused him. Eve was unable to trace Delta’s line of sight from this perspective. He was probably looking out at the greenery, maybe even beyond the horizon in the distance.

”Could you, for once in your life, just be human?”

Delta winced slightly as the memory surfaced. The delicate tone of the voice didn’t harmonize with the pained request it enunciated. It was to the point where the memory no longer retained his complete shape, but rather spontaneously appeared in fragments, just to shatter any sense of serenity he managed to accumulate. Yet it was his past that molded the boy of today, staring out the speckless window in ennui. He couldn’t have gotten here without dragging his heart across the gravel road he was forced to walk. Now, he was faced with the possibility of change. All he had to do was walk forward. ”Alright, let’s get a move on. If we’re late, I’ll just say the deli suddenly brought out a last minute chicken special, and you kept me waiting.” Eve shouted in protest at the boy pushed himself off of the pane and proceeded to make his way to class, finally crossing the starting line.

Delta managed to arrive the same time as his comrades, giving them a slight wave as he paced his way over to the door. There was the leader, the drunkard, and the newest member who seemed to be in the same boat as himself when it came to social interactions. The boy felt a slight sense of relief at the notion that he wasn’t the only person suddenly thrown into a whole new kind of fray. ”Got a certain row you fancy in there, team leader?” He asked in a faintly inquisitive monotone. It was going to be interesting, comparing and contrasting what Port taught and Delta's experience in the field against Grimm.

Gratia Mindaro - Armory Class

Armory. For those who knew nothing of her family (every single one of her classmates, as she was not somebody who talked particularly much about her home life), to see Gratia Mindaro attend a class geared towards weapons was a great surprise, especially when her preferred tools consisted of a simple, dull sabre and a carbine that would not be out of place amongst the weapons used by the Mistralese Army (in fact, the model was only phased out mere years before she had ripped and torn her way into the prestigious Haven Academy). There was no grand complexity to her fighting style, no need to know every detail about a versatile and powerful weapon, but she had chosen the class over Grimm Studies anyway.

It kept her far away from that cheese-eating, irksome bastard fool, at least.

The presence of Fiordilatte aside, she was the daughter of a metalworker. No matter the lack of success that her father faced in his everyday life, the Mistralese Huntress was still very much familiar with the intricacies of metallurgy and smithing. Unless there was some great, mysterious component to the class Professor Chatsworth ran, then she would possess a solid grounding for whatever was taught. Armory would provide her greater skills for weapons maintenance, and if the orientation package had not lied to her, a number of other benefits.

And so it was without fanfare that the stoic girl walked through the doors of the classroom, her flowing locks fanning out behind her as she made her way to a seat near the front, as far away as possible from the rest of her classmates.

There was no need to associate with them.

Oswald Connolly- Lunch -->Armory

Ignoring the conversations around him after Cobalt and Diamond left, Oswald carefully grabbed his team leader's wallet from the table and stood as the bell rang. "See ya around, folks. Class time, I guess." Giving a nod goodbye to Sapphire and Emerald, he quickly made his way to the armory classroom and sat down, looking around. It was hard to believe it'd only been a week since a fight had broken out in here, since Marcus had practically shocked the professor with his tank.

The thing about life was that, no matter what you did, time kept marching on, relentlessly. Half his team had been replaced, some entire teams had practically vanished, and people kept disappearing and being replaced almost instantly. He wasn't sure what had happened to everybody, exactly, but he knew he was curious, and that he should just keep his head down if he didn't want to get caught up in something he couldn't handle.

Unfortunately, those were the kinds of situations he loved jumping recklessly into.

Lauren Negasi

Lauren laughed brightly.

"Man, you guys and your fancy arsenals. Sangue has an entire claw machine for an arm, you have Unchained Fury, and I got waay-hay-hayyyyyy too familiar with Ben's tonfas this morning. All I came here with were the clothes on my back, a candy store in my suitcase, and a big freaking axe. I just signed up for the class to see if I could learn more about some of the bigger, badder weapons. How to handle them if I swipe one, how to acquit myself around one...and hey, don't know if I'll ever need an upgrade, but knowing how to fix you guys up in a pinch can't hurt, either."

The dark-skinned girl found herself spacing out for a second, and let out a low, content sigh.

"Ohhh, crap. I think the Ibuprofen just kicked in. Wake me up if I doze, will ya, babe?"

Kuhaku Shiro - Lunch > Armory Class

Shiro had his usual smile on as he walked at a surprisingly normal pace to his next class. He was humming randomly, no particular tune in mind. Excited to spend another night on the town after classes with friends and future friends-to-be. Unfortunately, he had other things in mind. A prior planned arrangement, if you would. Opening up his Scroll, he added some personal reminder notes. First thing was first, he had to take care of his equipment before he could allow himself to have a little fun. His weapons had sustained a bit of damage to them in his spar with Luke. At the time, Shiro didn't detect any significant damage to the metal of Kladenets. But, he worried that upon closer inspection the geisteel/siderite alloy may have been gouged. If not, then all the better. At the very least, the protective coating on the blade was sheared off by Luke's unique drill weapons. The process to restore the coating would take some hours, half of which he could accomplish in Armory if the teacher had nothing else in mind. The other half would have to be done right after classes let out.

Frowning, a little sad that his precious sword was nicked and marred, he absently shrugged. Ah, well. He'd have to get used to the upkeep of his battle rattle, especially once his team took on more missions. More future sparring matches and there was always the Vytal Festival. He couldn't realistically expect his gear to remain in pristine, sparkling condition. He would have to work hard to keep them that way, himself. Ears twitching, he couldn't remember if Gren had extended the invitation to everyone or just a select few. But, knowing him he probably would say "The more, the merrier!" which was all fine to Shiro. Shooting a text to Sepia, he decided to personally invite her.

From: Kuhaku Shiro
To: Sepia Russet
Subject: Afterschool
Body:

"Hey! Not sure if you heard while we ate lunch at the Deli N' Doul, but my buddy Gren is having a get-together afterschool! Would you like to come? If not, you'll make me sadface..

Respond and let me know as soon as you can! See you at Practice Class!"

Smiling a little wider, Shiro locked his Scroll and pocketed it. Half-way to Armory Class, he ran through the processes of recoating his weapons. Quietly muttering to himself.

"First, I'll have to disassemble Kladenets as I'll only need to recoat part of it. Secondly, soak the part in a degreasing solution for about 10-15 minutes. Third, I'll have to sandblast the old coating off... What PSI and grit was it again? Agh, I'll have to look that up. Shoot, what was the time length for gassing it out?" He sighed.

"I guess when I get to the 'Gas Out' phase I'll have to save that for after classes let out.." Shiro continued to softly murmur to himself, strolling his merry way to Armory. Mind a clutter as he focused his energy and attention to remembering exactly how was it that he applied the protective coating to his weapons. It had been some time since he last did it. Not often that you have someone take a literal drill to your equipment.

Krysthane: Beginning Class

Lunch was over already? Krysthane let out a sigh of disappointment as Abel left and everyone else scattered. They hadn't even gotten a chance to talk about anything. Grabbing her sandwich she quickly munched it down as she made her way to Armory. Krysthane stood in a corner and looked at her scroll, checking the class rooster. It looked like Ebon and Skyra had the class with her but Sepia had some other class.

Looking around seeing none of her team mates here yet and deciding she didn't want to sit by herself she noticed someone vaguely familiar figure wearing dark colors and built like a football player she checked the roster again. As she thought Oswald Connoly, a team captain. Krysthane sat next to him somewhat loudly, hopefully drawing his attention and said cheerily, "Hey you're Oswald, leader of team CODE right? I'm Krysthane, leader of team KESS." Then she offered her hand for a shake. "I figure us team leaders should know each other in case we have to work together sometime, mind if I sit by you for today?"

Sapphire Rode - Lunch ==> Armory

Sapphire packed up her things quickly and succinctly looking forward to her next class. Sapphire might not have been a terrible engineer but she did lack her mother's skill with numbers and calculations. As a polymath Melanie had almost been born to the work of an engineer. Sapphire could only aspire to be that good.

The schematic she'd been working on all day was tucked into her school books. As far as she could tell the principles the device operated on was sound. But Sapphire's experience with actual forging was somewhat limited. Working from a tested and proved schematic wouldn't be difficult, it was simply a matter of following the instructions but if something went wrong with her invention Sapphire wasn't confident that she had the skills to determine the source of the problem and repair it. That was the reason she was taking armory class. Being able to adapt was the most important skill a hunter could have whether it be out in the field or simply working a piece of metal.

Sapphire thought this through as she walked towards armory class. She resolved to go over her figures and proposed materials before attempting to create a prototype. It was safer to have all the theoretical safely in order before moving on to the practical. As she walked though the hall Sapphire spotted a white head of fur and the memories of the pills she'd found in Shiro's name came flooding back. She needed to talk to him about that. It could very well turn out to be nothing but if she was going to be on the same team as Shiro she needed to be sure of his competency.

"Kuhaku!" Sapphire shouted over the crowd. She weaved through people to catch up to her teammate. When she'd gotten close she grabbed him by the arm and pushed him out the throng of people and into one of the unused classrooms in the hall. Sapphire flipped the lights on throwing the formerly darkened room into sharp relief.

"Kuhaku, we need to talk. I'm going to guess you can imagine what this is able."

Kuhaku Shiro - Being Manhandled

Shiro sighed, his ears drooping. He didn't want the process of doing maintenance eat up all of his time and prevent him from spending time with friends. One thing was certain, he would be running a little late afterwards. Come to think of it, did Gren specify a time?

"Aww, man. The curing process alone would take-"
His ears perked up, hearing a familiar voice call out to him.
Whirling around, he blinked when he recognized the face of his team leader.
But, why was she calling out his name?
Tilting his head, he blinked again. Was he seeing things or..
"Sapphire? What-"
She swiftly snaked her way through the other students on their way to class and managed to grab his arm in a particularly sensitive spot. Causing him to wince, sucking air in through his teeth.
"Ow! Hey, what are you-!"
Before he knew it, he was practically shoved backwards.
Tripping over his own feet, he fell and rolled clumsily into a vacant room.

Standing up as Sapphire closed the door and cut on the lights, he held a hand to his head. One eye shut in slight annoying pain. Irritated, he sharply questioned her. "Oi, what gives?" His aggravation with her died when he heard the serious tone in her voice. Whatever it was, apparently it was important and critical enough to risk being late to class. When she mentioned the need to talk, he already half knew what she wanted to talk about but he didn't want to let her know that. Ears slightly drooping, he rubbed the back of his head as his eyes flitted to and fro. Unable to maintain eye contact, he feigned blissful ignorance.

"U-uh...No? I don't think I do know what this is about. Buut...can't it wait until after classes or something? We're going to be late and I hate being late, soo...Tootles!..." Nonchalantly walking past his leader, he reached for the door and was just about to open it.

Sapphire Rode - Empty Classroom

Sapphire rolled her eyes. Shiro truly was a terrible liar. What would happen if he ever needed to bluff an enemy. His eyes were darting about unable to look directly into hers, he looked nervous and he was breathing slightly faster than was normal. Then again she supposed that's what he had a team for. Herself, and Gren were fairly adept at deception, she figured Abel was too honorable even if it became necessary.

As Shiro tried to stroll nonchalantly past her Sapphire pulled one of her daggers out of its scabbard and threw it at the door impaling the wood less than an inch from Shiro's ear. "Don't try to blow me off furball. I have some questions which I'm sure you are more than capable of guessing and I'll have the answers before I consent to go out into the field with you again. Not get back over here." Sapphire said her voice as sharp as glass. "I want to know about this." Sapphire said pulling out her scroll and queuing up the photo she'd taken of the prescription on the side of the pills bottle.

IC: Emerald Felicia - Armory Class -

"Hmmmmm...I thought Cobalt was our leader..." Emerald put in, apparently sitting on the other side of Oswald, she had her rather large weapons sitting on the table in front of her as she cleaned them with a thick cloth. "Then again Cobalt wasn't really acting all that...leader like. He wasn't beaming with much confidence at all." Emmy was acting a tad more mellow than usual, and seemed pretty focused on her weapons.

"Oh yeah Krysthane...don't forget we have a duel later. Gonna kick your butt." A cheeky grin grew on her face even as she focused on polishing her weapons.

Oswald Connolly- Mistaken Identity?!

Turning his head to his relatively noisy new arrival, Oswald raised an eyebrow in appraisal as Krysanthe introduced herself and asked him to affirm his identity. "Well...you got the name and the team, but I'm actually the O of CODE. Our leader's actually Cobalt. I'm...I guess I'd call myself the team's meatshield and resident survivalist."

Jerking a thumb in Emerald's direction as he spoke, Oswald shrugged. "Being responsible for a team is tough work. It takes a special kind of person to be truly effective at it. Not too distant, but able to step back from a situation and make the tough calls when they need to. Someone who has the strength and the moxie to stand up at the gates of hell and not back down." Someone like you, Oswald.

Scowling at a rare intrusive memory, Oswald shook his head. "It also takes a keen tactical and strategic mind to be able to best utilize your allies' skills and abilities. As effective as I might be against a big, stupid Grimm...there's a bit more to being a true leader than telling some people where to go and jumping in the way of an errant Ursa."

Robert Fallson - Akward Timing

Since Delta decided to go exploring before class started and the rest of his team didn't seem to be going to Grimm Studies, Robert began the short trek on his own. Even though he had been going to the same class for the last several days, leaving from the Deli instead of the usual exit he took out of the cafeteria seemed to had completely thrown him off. "Where am I now? All these hallways look exactly the same," he said as he quickly began to take in his surroundings. "It certainly doesn't help that this hallway is packed with more students than a can of sardines... If the sardines in that metaphorical, packed can represented the students... Just shut up already and stop correcting your stupid analogy, Robert," Looking to one of the nearby classrooms, he saw the room numbers painted on the front and felt a feeling of familiarity. "Wait, is that the Grimm Studies classroom? I think those are the right numbers," he said as he reached for the door handle.

The first thing he couldn't help notice was that the door just felt... off. "Why's it feel like there's extra weight on the door?" Next he noticed his reflection staring back at him from the blunt side of a sharp knife. "Well that certainly explains it." Robert removed the blade from the door in case someone who wasn't paying as much attention tried to walk inside before looking back up at the only two students inside. "I do not think this is the right classroom." Looking back and forth between the obviously irritated Sapphire and the retreating Shiro, Robert couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity. "Am I interrupting something?" He looked at the picture of a pill bottle that Sapphire had pulled up on her Scroll and then asked, "What's with the pills?"

Kuhaku Shiro - Am I being Detained? Am I free to go?

"Hee!"
Shiro's ear and tail stood straight up in shock as one of Sapphire's knives once again found their way into the wood of the door frame. For the second time today too, just after lunch. His body easing up slightly, Shiro sighed and looked at the ground. Scratching the back of his head as his tail lazily swept at the air behind his legs. Looking back up and turning around, Shiro looked rather disappointed. "Man, you really know how to start a nice conversation with someone who's supposed to have your back. If this is how you start off every conversation with people you know, I'd hate to see how you greet your enemies." Grinning, Shiro shook his head. "Also, I have a name as do you. I'm Kuhaku Shiro. You're Sapphire Rode. Let's keep it like that, okay? You and I aren't necessarily on friendly terms so I'd appreciate it if you didn't give me 'pet' names."

His eyes lazily gazed at the picture Sapphire brought up on her Scroll. He knew what the picture was, but he was going to continue feigning ignorance. At the very least it would rile Sapphire up to the point where she may just give up on the conversation and leave. Of course, he couldn't keep up his fibs for long. If she was persistent and continued to press the issue, Shiro was too honest to keep up a lie. So, he shrugged when he saw the photo of the pill bottle.

"Okay?"
He made a motion with his hands as he shrugged his shoulders.
"Looks like a picture of some medication. What else do you want to know?"

His day was going okay. Not the best start, but he was still having a good day. For some reason, Sapphire always seemed to dampen his cheerful mood. Honestly, he was tiring of his leader. He had every full intention of speaking to her after school, when they could give each other the undivided attention that their conversation would need. But the way his precious leader approached and addressed everything with such cold hostility was seriously starting to piss him off. She lacked tact.

At the worst possible time, Robert walked into the room. It appeared that the guy had gotten lost and entered the absolutely wrong classroom. As Shiro looked at Robert, his expression started to twist into one of intense anger. Great, how many more people were going to learn that Shiro had to medicate to keep his 'issues' in check? He had half a mind to scare off the guy by blasting him with a roar, but that would only attract more attention. No, instead...

An idea popped into his head.
"Hey, Robert!"
His expression immediately brightened.
"Did you get lost?"
Duh.
"Y'know what, I feel like helping a buddy out. What class do you have? I have a better sense of direction and can get you there just in time!"
He stalked forward and grabbed Robert by the shoulders, spinning him around and back out of the classroom.
"Don't worry about it, I was just having a chit-chat with Sapphire. You weren't interrupting anything! What say we get ourselves to class right quick, huh?"

Shiro just managed to push Robert out of the threshold of the door, a few steps out himself.

Gren Orchid

Lunch was one big flurry of events, and eventually it came to an end. "Party's afterschool! Take a card or find me, we'll be leaving before sundown." Gren tossed out more business cards for people to pick up before gathering his things to leave for his next class: Armory. He's also been working on something or another there, but he has a bad habit of dropping projects to start on something new. He hasn't yet made a finished product, not even one that could be tested. He just had too many ideas to try out first.

Marching off towards his next class Gren arrived shortly after many other students had, but the teacher did not seem to start class yet. Good for him, he won't be late. In fact, he wanted to get to work on a project. Hopefully this one will be finished today: a portable breathing mask. Although Gren was mostly cybernetic, even he required some basic necessities of life: Food, water, and air. The later two he could go without for much longer then most, but without the ability to breath even he'd be in a bad shape. With this mask, he could breath safely in places such as in toxic air or even underwater. He just needed something something to make a hermetic seal for the filtration system, otherwise it'll be easy to compromise with an errant smack. The thing has to be durable after all.

Thinking about it, Shiro would need this, wouldn't he? He still needed to go get Sapphire's daggers. Considering that he hasn't done so already, Gren could guess that they fell into the ocean. Gren could whip up a few more of these assuming that what he needs to make the hermetic seal isn't too costly. Hopefully Gren could get at least one finished before class ends and give it to Shiro. But he'll need help.

Looking around the class most everyone seemed to be busy with something or another. He looked for someone who didn't seem like they were working on a project or speaking to someone. And there was only one Gren could see: Gratia Mindaro. He knew her name, added her to Shiro's list of contacts, but didn't know the girl personally. Now was better then never. Walking over to the lone huntress with the breathing mask Gren spoke out to her. "Excuse me. Are you busy at the moment?"

Sapphire Rode - Empty Classroom ==> Armory

Sapphire closed her eyes in frustration. He knew exactly what it was she wanted to know but he insisted on playing the ignorant fool. She was about to explain in very slow, very simple and very patronizing terms exactly what she wanted him to tell her when someone opened the door, pulling her dagger out of the wood.

It was Robert, not that she'd taken a whole lot of the notice of him. She remembered his name and that his entire team had one day just vanished but she didn't know anything more about him save for the fact that he'd rather look like a fool than hit a girl. It would get him killed one of these days.

She was just about tell him that this was a private matter and he should ask the office where his next class was when Shiro using any excuse to get out of the situation he was currently trapped in offered to assist Robert. They were both out the door before Sapphire could stop them. She didn't want to make a scene in the middle of the hallway but she had to let Shiro know that they weren't done talking about this. She'd bring it up again till he gave her a straight answer. She also needed to get her weapon back, it was still in Robert's hand.

Sapphire weaved through the crowd and snaked up to the pair as they walked away from her. Sapphire laid a hand on Shiro's shoulder. "We're going to have this conversation sooner or later Shiro, if you don't want to talk about it I'll get the information from Ozpin." Then Sapphire turned to Robert. "I'll thank you to return that." She said snatching her dagger from Robert's hand. The handle was covered in his sweat. She was going to have to clear it before using it again. "You might want to work on your sense of timing." With those words Sapphire disappeared into the crowd heading the other way towards armory.

When she got to the class there weren't a lot of seats left available. She was stuck sandwiched between Emerald and Krysanthe. Oswald was only a few seats down which was alright but Sapphire didn't really enjoy being in this close proximity to anyone. Choosing to ignore the sense of danger she was feeling Sapphire pulled out her schematic and started to double check her calculations. If her figures were off the device could let her climb twenty feet up before it gave out and sent her tumbling to the ground. It was better safe than sorry. The schematic was covered with numbers and equations so checking her answers would take some time.

Robert Fallson - Trying to Help

"I have Grimm Studies next. Wait, wha-" Robert was just able to get out before being suddenly grabbed by Shiro and rushed out of the room. Whatever it was he and Sapphire were talking about, it was obviously something they, or maybe it was just Shiro, didn't want him to know about. Robert's imagination began to get the better of him as he tried to think of the possibilities. Knowing those two's relationship with each other, he very much doubted they were secretly a couple. The dislike for each other seemed way too realistic and in no way appeared an act, not to mention that wouldn't explain the medication Sapphire was showing to him. So what else could it be? Maybe Shiro's been up to something dangerous... or illegal. Maybe Sapphire found out about it and... Nah, Shiro doesn't seem like the kind of person. Then Sapphire caught up to the two of them, made a few comments, and got her knife back. Robert was actually a bit more reassured now because if Ozpin knew about, as Sapphire stated, then it couldn't really be that bad.

As Shiro and Robert reached the door of Grimm Studies thanks to the former's admirable sense of direction, the latter couldn't help but feel the need to tell Shiro something. "Thanks for getting me here, man... Umm, hey, I just want you to know something though... I consider you a good friend, something I've felt to be in a little short supply of. It feels like, whenever I meet someone that I like, something bad always- I'm getting off topic, sorry... What I'm trying to get at is, whatever you were talking about with Sapphire, I'm not going to ask or push for information. It's your business and if you want to keep it that way I understand. As your friend though, I would like to know so I can help. I'm here for ya'. Rain or shine, you say the word and I'll be right by your side ready to fight off whatever it is that's troubling you. Okay? See ya' in Practice, dude." Robert turned toward the door of Professor Port's class and entered the classroom as he gave a wave goodbye toward his buddy. RVGD's leader didn't expect Shiro to tell him the 'big secret', especially right there and then when class was starting soon and the tiger faunas was who knows how far away from his own class, so he would leave and let his words settle.

Krysthane: Shake It Off

"Oh bloody..." Krysthane let the expletive trail off under her breath. Gawds it was like she wasn't even paying attention. She must've clicked the wrong name on the scroll, stupid super sensitive except when you needed them to be touch screens. Of course even without that she should've remembered the first letter of the team name was the team captain. Bloody.

The classroom had filled up pretty quickly so now even if she wanted to leave to cover her embarrassment that weren't any more seats. She laughed a little at Oswald's comment, "Um, well I guess we still get to sit next to each other, I guess you could call me the team meat-shield as well so at least we have something in common." She said hoping that blushing she could feel in her cheeks would just go away. Though you would think it would be Ebon with that huge shield of his.

When she turned to face forward Krysthane noticed that someone had snuck into the seat next to her, it looked like they were working on some sort of intensive math problem. Did she have a special assignment from math or something? Or was she working on something with her free time. Maybe should ask about it... nah that would probably just be annoying, the girl looked like she was focusing pretty hard.
