Current Sorry for the delay everyone. I've been absolutely swamped with work these last weeks. I'm getting my replies up slowly.

Keeping track of things makes it easier to avoid bad experiences! And to not make the same mistake like an idiot... :-/

Their will and endless greed allows them to grow and accend past other creatures
But their mortality denies them divinity

It's a delightful purgatory between being Fallen and being Divine"

Freyr

Ditzy and Nagare's words after he told them about his people and Nera still echoed in his mind. Did Nera really want to go with him? Would she abandon the woods and her family, her race just as he did? He never had considered that. Nera had a place in the village now, she was important and respected... Still a Viera at the eyes of the other Viera. No... He was sure it was the other way around. She felt betrayed by what Freyr did. She wanted him to stay, but he left her. Her, the forest, the Viera, the village... he left them all behind. Reconciliation was... unlikely.

Freyr was still a bit lost in his own thoughts when Nagare apologized herself after replying to Ditzy, trying to explain a bit about the situation.

"It's... ok. Don't worry about it. There are a lot of things involved. It's indeed... complicated." Freyr said, with a discreet smile towards Ditzy and Nagare as they kept walking towards Jote's house.

The Vieran Village, in front of Elder Jote's house.

"Elder Jote, This is Ditzy and Nagare." Freyr began, as he greeted her with a discreet, but polite bow as he introduced his companions.

"I know I am not welcome anymore... And that we are outsiders but... The world outside is changing... Please hear us." Freyr said.

Jote heard silently as the group spoke, with a serious expression in her face before she replied them.

"He left the woods and the Viera. He broken the laws of the woods, our laws and traditions that we have been following for centuries." Jote said, looking to Ditzy with a piercing stare. Despite Ditzy's friendly and innocent happiness, it was clear that Jote didn't appreciate outsiders speaking about Viera's traditions and the laws of the woods and trying to contradict her.

"You are all very far from home... Outsiders couldn't possibly understand how we live. The Viera have followed the same laws and traditions, the laws of the woods for centuries. The forest is our home, we never intervened with the outside world and never will." Jote said, her voice making clear that there was no room to discussion about those things.

"Even the woods are changing, Jote. And you know it. I can still hear it's voice. If the Viera don't change their traditions and their way of life, they will be left behind." Freyr said, with a serious tone.

"The Varjans are a threat. To all of us. It's only a matter of time until they come for the Viera. If they come, they will use us as weapons... What will you do when that happens?" Freyr asked, looking to Jote.

"No human would be foolish enough to enter the forest. Despite their greed, no human has ever reached so deeps inside the woods before and it's not now that it will happen. We never did nothing to the humans outside the forest, as such, they have no reason to attack us. I don't know why despite you having left the woods, it still sees you as it's child, as one of the Viera, but our sacred traditions remain the same. You are outsiders, your voices have no weight for us and our village. If you want me to hear you, bring me proof of what you say." Jote said, with a harsh expression before she got inside again.

It was clear that Freyr felt Jote's words, especially the part about his words having no weight in the village. Despite all that, he knew... He knew that she was right...

"She... is right... We are outsiders... Our words carry no weight for Jote herself or the village..." Freyr said, looking down and then looking to Ditzy and Nagare.

"If things continue like this..." Freyr mumbled to himself. It was obvious to both Ditzy and Nagare what it would happen. Even though Jote was the Elder, she refused to change the Viera's traditions and laws or even acknowledge the outside word as a possible threat to their lifestyle.

"I'm sorry to drag you guys to this mess... We should-" Freyr started saying, but suddenly interrupted himself with a clearly alarmed, almost panicked face.

Initially, the reason for that was completely unknown for both Ditzy and Nagare, but a second after that, both of them, even Ditzy who wasn't that sensitive to magic could feel a strange breeze passing through the trees and swirling around Freyr for a moment. It was clear that it wasn't just wind. It had a different type of magic, a different type of energy. If they paid enough attention, It was almost as if the wind and the trees where whispering something as the leaves ruffled and the branches from the gigantic trees moved gently with the breeze.

A second after that, Jote slammed the door open with an equally alarmed expression on her face.

"Nera was... captured." Jote said, her voice trembling with rage.

Mikhail silently nodded as he heard Gennar said that he pitied the black widow who shattered his mind if Faeril knew who she was. Mikhail himself didn't know much about Black Widows other than their capabilities and skills that could potentially be dangerous to someone. Their vows, codes & teachings were all foreign to him. Although, It seemed like Faeril took her job very seriously. Which was definitely a good thing.

Still oblivious to the horrid that Gennar called 'coffee' Mikhail simply enjoyed the smell as the water started boiling and Gennar put the grounded beans on the water.

"Faeril seems to be serious and professional about her work. It's something I can relate to and respect." Mikhail said.

It was then that he heard someone knocking at the door, followed by Faeril's soft steps. Mikhail didn't pay that much attention to it initially, but the second he heard the name 'The Reaper' he immediately turned his head, paying attention at the words spoken and everything that was happening. Mikhail's agitation was clear to Gennar, whom he was talking to a second ago even though Mikhail himself was silent.

He knew who 'The Reaper' was, he heard rumors about him. He was dangerous. Incredibly dangerous. Even though Mikhail knew very well how rumors had the tendency of overexaggerating, he also knew well not to underestimate anyone or lower his guard.
If the rumors about him were true, he wasn't an opponent Mikhail could afford lowering his guard. Even if Faeril, the one whom was treating his condition seemed to be relatively at calm nearby near him.

Other than 'The Reaper', Mikhail could hear the somewhat distressed voice of a female, complaining that she was kidnapped and the voice of a man, whom Faeril called Denvar, Gennar's brother, whom soon after entering, was dismissed by Faeril, who told him to go to the kitchen.

Still sitting down on the table, Mikhail's posture seemed to be relaxed, but his piercing, cold stare indicated otherwise. While it wasn't outright an hostile stare, it was clear that he was watching and hearing every movement made by that man who called himself 'The Reaper'.

Will have my post done tomorrow! :-)
Karina Frost

Much to Karina's luck, due to her petite size, the couch she found earlier served her incredibly well. It was not that she didn't trust the others, but Karina learned with time that there was no such thing as being overcautious when in enemy territory, so even though they were on guard, she woke up a few times through the night and was sure to always be alert.

As usual for someone who was raised and trained in the military, Karina had woken up before the sun rose into the sky. Instead of going to greet the others though, Karina simply took a bit of time to straighten her clothes, her hair and look 'presentable' as she waited for the rest of the group to wake up.

When the time for the breakfast came, she went to the hall and sat down with the rest as they ate the little food they have. Even though food was precious, they needed to feed themselves well and have energy to flee and fight. Given that they were literally surrounded by enemies, they would need it.

"I agree... It's our only hope to leave the city at this moment..." Karina replied to Týfurkh as she ate a bit of food. Chres didn't seem to know about their plan though.

"Týfurkh can use his abilities to focus and direct sound. We plan to use it to send a message to the forward base of the military of touch. By saying a certain combination of words, they will know it's me." Karina explained to Chres.

"It's our best hope to leave this town, if they send a small team to extract us from the town safely. I'm afraid it will take a bit though since it would be a delicate operation..." Karina finished. Despite her words, her expression was somewhat grim and thoughtful.

"We need to be careful... This... All this situation... The cultists, this strange... power... And that strange man that we met on the first day..." Karina said, looking down, lost in her own thoughts.

As he followed Gennar towards the kitchen, Mikhail couldn't help but to notice that the halls were mostly devoid of any decoration. Made mostly of stone, the only things besides the thick rug were a few odd paintings and a few tables. Most people would probably dislike it, but oddly enough, it suited Mikhail's tastes perfectly. Sober, practical and with few things that could be considered mere 'distractions'.

"I will keep that in mind." Mikhail said with a chuckle as he listened to Gennar saying to him to not let Faeril listen to his previous words.

"I do prefer a simple coffee, thank you." Mikhail said, with a discreet nod. He never liked alcohol. It wasn't the taste or something, but alcohol hazed his mind and dulled his senses. Maybe it was due to how a Dea Al Mon body was, or maybe it was due to how Mikhail's body developed itself, but it was a fact that the effects of alcohol were more severe on his body than on most. In other words, he was incredibly weak to alcohol.

Arriving on the kitchen, Mikhail was surprised with the change of atmosphere. The kitchen itself was nothing like the halls he and Gennar were a second ago. Instead, it was a really cozy and pleasant kitchen.

Taking a pot from the counter, filling it with water and turning on the stove, Gennar started preparing the coffee as he asked him a rather personal question. Why had he, a Dea Al Mon came to Terreille.

"I do not have a fixed residence, so travelling is not something strange to me. I merely go to where my services are needed." Mikhail started, with a calm expression but carefully analyzing Gennar's expression and reactions.

"But the particular reason for me to come to Terreille was due to the... 'condition' that has been afflicting me for some time. A poor job from another Black Widow almost completely shattered my mind. I was able to... deal with it to some extent by meditating, but it was getting worse by the day... I could feel my sanity slipping away. It was then that I heard a rumor about a certain someone who could be able to treat my condition. With my time running out, my choices were few." Mikhail completed, obviously referring to Faeril.

@LadyRunic

Despite how grateful Mikhail was as he heard that Faeril was aware of the diference between their races, he couldn't help but raise his eyebrows when she called him 'Prince'. It was the first time in a long while that someone called him by his caste... Once more remembering him that things would be definitely different from the time he was living by himself.

"It's been quite some time since someone called me by my caste..." Mikhail said, raising an eyebrow just after he thanked her with a discreet bow for her understanding his limitations regarding time.

As Faeril called Gennar, Mikhail simply analyzed the man as he entered the room, greeting him with a discreet, but polite nod afterwards.
Given how comfortable he was nearby Faeril and by their tone as they talked with each other, it was evident that they knew each other very well. Other than that, while the Eyrien Warlord's attitude was definitely different from Faeril, he could spot certain similarities between both of them.

"I would be grateful. The treatment was... quite an experience. Without a doubt worse than being stabbed." Mikhail said, accepting Gennar's offer with a chuckle and a rather exhausted expression.

"Mikhail Volkov." He replied, extending his hand towards Gennar and giving him a firm, but cautious handshake
@LiverisGood

Sure!! Kumiko will certainly be intrigued by Al'nehak's exotic appearance! :-)
@Pezz570

Still here, things been actually pretty hectic here... Family drama, got to a point that things are starting to get to physical threats and... yeah...

Other than that I was waiting for Fetzen, since the plan was initially his (about using Týfurkh's power to send the military an SOS message)
After much deliberation, I have come to decide that smut is an integral part of MGE and I want to bring the whole MGE experience to you all.

That is why I'd like to move this RP to a more 'open' place and I request you all to go and register to this website.

Freyr

It was clear that Freyr had mixed feelings coming back to his village after so much time. In one hand, he was truly happy to hear the voice of the woods again and to a certain extent, to see others from his own race, but on the other hand, he knew that he wasn't welcome anymore. Watching Ditzy and Nagare's reaction after seeing the village. It wasn't that surprising that they were curious about it, after all, not many outsiders even got close to the village's entrance, let alone enter it.

"It's the traditions. The Laws of the Woods that remained unchanged for long... Too long..." Freyr replied to Ditzy and Nagare, who had both asked why males couldn't come back. Notably, when Ditzy mentioned his parents, Freyr's expression immediately became a bit darker as he clearly tried to avoid talking about his parents.

"As a male, it was my duty being a wood warder. To live a life of complete isolation, protecting the woods. The reason for this is that the Viera is a female predominant race. Males are too few and isolated to even be relevant in the society. Less than 20% of the Vieras that are born are males. Due to that and the fact that most males do have a different... 'temperament' than females being more competitive, antisocial & etc. Males are seen as incompatible to live together with female Vieras." Freyr continued explaining as he looked around the plaza, situating himself in order to locate where Jote's house was.

"Nera was... Very close to me when we were kids. When I became old enough to well... become a Wood Warder, in other words, be exiled from the Village, and decided to leave the woods, she probably saw that as me betraying not only the woods and the race, but herself..." Freyr completed.

"Yes... We should probably go see Jote soon... Just follow me." Freyr said, as he looked towards a bridge linking the plaza to another tree nearby, going towards a rather large building. Due to the way he simply started walking towards the bridge, it was clear that he didn't want to draw any more attention than they already were. The hostile stares from a few Vieras were incredibly obvious.

The Vieran Village

Excluding the hostile stares from some of the Vieras, the walk towards Jote's house was a pleasant one. From the top of enormous trees, they were able to see the entire forest floor if they looked down. Beautiful and peaceful, truly, all worries from the outside world wasn't be able to reach so deep inside the forest... At least not until now...

The moment they arrived in front of the Jote's house, which was almost indistinguishable from other houses other than being slightly bigger, much for their own surprise, they didn't even need to knock, as Jote got out of the door the second they arrived.

"Unsought guests in our woods, yet... Nera has allowed your entrance." Jote replied, with a harsh, but curious stare. The second she saw Freyr though, she went quiet for a second, looking at him with a surprised, almost alarmed expression.

"Why does the voice of the woods still..." Jote started, clearly surprised but interrupted herself.

"No matter. Why have you came, bringing outsiders with you? No matter what happens, you know you are unsought guests in this village..." Jote said. Despite Jote's serious expression it was clear by her reaction when she saw Freyr that something was different. She had a small bit of doubt in her voice. Maybe it has something to deal with Freyr, his exile and the so called 'Voice of the Woods' that the Viera were apparently able to hear?
