Keeping track of things makes it easier to avoid bad experiences! And to not make the same mistake like an idiot... :-/

It did take a good moment as the group stood completely quiet and still, surrounded by that ominous fog as they searched for the two titans that were fighting. It was then that, just as sudden as they had disappeared, the red headed, flying titan appeared from amidst the fog, screeching at the top of her lungs and lunging at something, which was probably Titanica. Notably, her body was in the middle of transforming to her kaiju form ash she sank her talons into what was apparently Titanica, despite being still covered by the mist.

Before she could do any significant damage with her talons though, both the kaiju and the group realized that she was perched at what it was Titanica's half transformed arm. In a moment, her other arm exploded on the red kaiju's face, sending her flying and barreling towards the group, who helplessly watched as both titans ravaged the forest.

Due to his agility and speed, Freyr easily avoided the half transformed kaiju, dashing towards a safe spot. Seeing Titanica enraged once again, Freyr couldn't help but to realize that she was indeed a threat to everyone nearby her, both due to her temper and how easily she would lose control and just proceed to destroy everything...

Surprisingly enough though, Ditzy didn't try to avoid the projectile that Titanica's kaiju rival had become, instead assuming a firm position and facing it head on, swinging his sandbag downwards to try and stop the red kaiju's momentum.

Unlike Ditzy or the others, Freyr's only options to try and stop that were either try to talk with both rampaging beasts, which had already proven to be useless, or... attack. Despite them being monsters, in every meaning of the word, there were many incredibly dangerous creatures living in the Vieran Woods, which every Viera hunter had to learn how to deal with. Freyr's bow, made with the secret, traditional technique of the Viera, including both enchanted wood from the biggest and oldest tree in the forest and fibers from powerful animals, would be able to pierce Titanica and the red titan's hides if he aimed at the correct spots. The thing which stopped Freyr to do so was that said spots were mostly... vital ones. If he did something, the chance he would hurt one of the two titans was big...

He could only hope that Ditzy's attack would make both Titanica and the other kaiju realize what they were doing...

Ayita already didn't trust neither Inori nor Korvash that much, but the following exchange of words between them further made Ayita realize just how certain she was. Korvash was quick to voice his opinion. According to him, Ayita wasn't supposed to be on Avalia, the obvious fear he had that the 'lich' found and killed them seemed to be enough for him to just resort to kill her on the spot to avoid possible trouble. While not as... simple minded and straight forward as his brutish, dumb green friend, it became clear to Ayita that Inori had thought about it, judging by his thoughtful expression and the tone on his voice. He did seem to be the type of person who didn't care about anything but himself. Whimsical and prone to sudden change of heart. Overall, someone whom Ayita definitely couldn't trust completely... That said, despite all that, he still provided Ayita with some more information about said 'lich'.

According to Inori's words, the lich's name was Aklenroth, proceeding to give a number of aliases he was known by. Apparently, he was aiming for complete control over Avalia, a tyranical ruler, drunk with power. By some weird reason, humans were his main focus, judging by how alarmed the giant Korvash was when he saw her. While Ayita was indeed grateful for the information, she still thought it was rather dangerous to be around someone like Inori... and by extension, Korvash too. Surprisingly enough, for reasons yet unknown for Ayita, Inori said that they would help her with a rather unsettling grin, despite his giant green friend quite obviously disagreeing with his decision.

It was no secret for both Korvash and Inori that Ayita didn't trust them not even one bit. It was already clear by the way she looked at them, but the second she heard Korvash's words and he pointed his finger at her, Ayita's stare became a piercing, stone cold one. While she indeed was in need of help, she simply couldn't shake off the feeling that Inori was either using her or had other reasons for helping her, other than just having met a 'fair maiden'.

"I see... Thank you for your help." Ayita said, analyzing both of them.

Before she could ask more questions, Cade further developed on Inori's explanation, filling the holes he had left. According to him, this lich, Aklenroth, feared humans because they were supposed to have a power that not even he could have. Such words were strange to Ayita, since for her, she was a simple human. As far as she knew humans had no special powers... at least not on her world...
When he mentioned his price for helping her being a simple story from her world, she couldn't help but let out a smile appear on her face. Unlike Inori, she could feel that Cade was much more trustworthy. His honesty and the fact that she somehow could feel some type of 'connection' to him made her find it easier to trust the cat man.

"I may not know anything about Avalia, but I do have many stories about my world to tell those who are interested about them." she said, with a discreet smile.

"Just one more thing... You said humans are feared by this lich called Aklenroth, for the 'power' they have... What exactly is this power?" Ayita asked, clearly still a bit confused about the whole situation. Despite her confusion though, she seemed to be absorbing everything remarkably well, without any resistance for things such as the magic Inori was casting or even the clearly non-human creatures talking to her right now.

Ashkevron Residence in Aren, Askavi

As expected, the entryway became a gory mess thanks to Mikhail's wires. It was a shame that the other warriors weren't able to see it, but that didn't matter. They would soon be dead anyways... Dareen and the Eyrien brothers had similarly finished what they needed to do. Still, one thing seemed wrong about all that situation. There surely had to be some kind of plan the queen had. It was simply unthinkable that she would sent such a small force behind them or even make a plan that gave them a chance to escape... Unless she was expecting them to slaughter the warriors she sent...

Interrupting his thoughts, Gennar spoke to him as he passed nearby Mikhail, noting the mess that he had done inside Faeril's house and how mad she would be when she saw it. Indeed, Mikhail had completely forgotten about the mess, and looking better at what he had done, it would indeed be a living hell to clean...

"I... We were surrounded so I thought that maybe..." Mikhail started, trying to explain himself without much success. Who knew what Faeril would do when she saw what happened inside her house...

"... Blood stains are... fairly difficult to clean..." Mikhail said with a deep sigh after a moment of silence. He knew very well how troublesome it was to clean blood due to his work and just looking at the huge mess at the entryway, he knew it would take a good while to clean everything.

Dareen was the next to talk, making Mikhail forget about the mess for a while. He couldn't help but to let out a surprised expression as Dareen confirmed his suspicions of her having experience doing such work.
Just like Dareen said, the plan didn't make any sense at first look. Was it really simply a dumb plan or there was more behind it?

"I do agree with you. It was indeed a dumb plan... That said... There should be absolutely no reason for the Queen to hold back and not send everything she had to deal with Xandar and Faeril. After all, just like you said, she already knew their location... I may be overthinking this but I don't think that someone like a district queen would make such a... flawed plan." Mikhail said, reflecting on Dareen's words.

"I don't think that there will be any left to give up though..." Mikhail said with a chuckle as he heard Dareen, approaching the dome and shouting if they were ready to give up.

Just after she did so though, Mikhail noticed an adorably small figure running around the dome, towards the entrance where they were. It was clear just after taking a single glance at the woman that she was incredibly out of place amidst such a bloodbath. Mikhail would have asked who she was, but Gennar was faster than him, grabbing the unknown woman by her clothes and lifting her unceremoniously as he asked her who she was. Her reaction uppon being grabbed and the innocent, charming smile she gave to Gennar upon greeting him only reinforced the idea that she didn't really fit with the scenery around her at that moment.

It was then that the grey dome came down, showing a blood soaked Xandar walking towards them as he lit a cigarette. As it was expected, it was an absolute bloody mess inside the dome. Approaching them, he stopped in front of Gennar, stating that he had taken care of his 'guests' and grabbing the small witch from Gennar's hands, again, without an ounce of delicacy or gentleness. Whoever she was, she seemed to be Xandar's... companion, maybe? Although their relationship was unknown to Mikhail, he didn't care that much about it, since the small witch wasn't really his problem. There was one thing that was much his problem though...

"Xandar... Where is Faeril?" Mikhail asked, with a cold, piercing stare. She left the house with him eariler, but despite him having returned, with a stranger nonetheless, Mikhail saw no signs of Faeril anywhere.

Even though the woman, who introduced herself as Fatima Damiana, was in the middle of healing Xandar, Mikhail couldn't ignore the fact that Faeril wasn't with him. It was obvious to him that Fatima wasn't really comfortable around so much blood and seemed to be even more when she saw Xandar wounded. While Mikhail could sympathize with how she was feeling and wouldn't like to do anything to make her even worse than she was already feeling with the whole situation, there were more pressing issues to deal with.

"It is highly unlikely that a district queen would make such a flawed plan as just sending a small unit to her target's house. Especially since she knew you were here. Faeril IS in danger." Mikhail said, looking to Xandar.

"Where is Faeril?" Mikhail asked again, with a serious tone. It didn't take much to notice the veiled threat on Mikhail's voice. It wasn't a surprise to anyone there that he didn't trust Xandar either.

Fortunately for Ayita, Korvash, the green giant simply stood still, silent as Inori evaluated the situation. Whoever he was, he seemed to hold some control over the giant green man. His reaction as he saw Ayita though was interesting to say the least. Judging by how shocked he was made clear for Ayita that Humans weren't exactly common there. Not only that, but many questions that Ayita had were unknowingly answered by the small Inori. Apparently, from what she understood from his words, it wasn't the first time humans came to that world, called Avalia, through the same rift that dragged Ayita. Others had came before but someone, referred by Inori just as 'He' killed all of them. Many questions were answered, but even more rose after she heard Inori's words. Whoever was this 'he' that Inori said, seemed to be incredibly powerful and held considerable influence over Avalia. Nonetheless, Inori seemed to be... neutral for now? She didn't consider him an ally, as his words and expressions were far too mysterious for her to know his true thoughts. He seemed like the type of person who had many secrets to hide.

Cadence of a Thunderstorm, or simply Cade as he said, did have a much different reaction to Ayita though. The way he moved his tail excitedly a while earlier, just like a cat would do, his words and his expression made him at least appear much more friendly, trustworthy and honest than Inori. Mentioning once more that this place, Avalia was indeed dangerous to humans, he confirmed what Inori had said before.

"It is dangerous because of this person Inori mentioned, yes?" Ayita asked, looking to both of them with a curious expression. Her cautious posture was mostly gone as she seemed to be a little more at ease knowing that neither of them wanted to harm her.

"Any particular reason for this person to hunt Humans?" Ayita asked. She knew now that there were people hunting her, but she also wanted to know why they were hunting her and what she could do to avoid said people.

"I would accept your help but... I do not have anything with me to repay you though..." Ayita said, looking towards Cade.

Now that the situation was much more tranquil for Ayita than it was before, she couldn't help but to be curious regarding the strangers in front of her. While she had her fair share of questions regarding exactly what Inori and Korvash were, she didn't trust them as much as she did Cade though. Ayita couldn't hide her curiosity regarding Cade, especially his ears and tail.

The old man greeted Ozzy with a silent nod as he approached. After he finished talking, he rested the shovel on the ground, near his feet as he leaned on it, wiping off the sweat on his forehead with the back of his hand. It was clear to Ozzy that he had no idea that he was a harpy.

"Teh only help ah want regardin' that white thing is hunting it down. Nobody messes with mah property..." the old man said, spitting on the ground as he looked at Ozzy.

"Yer not from 'round 'ere, are ya? Ar ye from that 'Guild' I've been hearin' bout?" The old man asked, looking at Ozzy from top to bottom almost as if analyzing him. The old man didn't try to hide his stare and it was clear to Ozzy that he was expecting something more... Someone who could be actually capable of hunting down the white beast.

"Dem damned farmers from Ambran told me they were finally sendin' some guys to take care of tha creature... Was expectin a hunter, not a child..." the old man said, clearly underestimating Ozzy.

"'Too much moonshine, tha old crazy man finally gone mad', they said... First it was mah chickens, then mah poor Banjo, yet nobody did a thing or believed me. Let's see who's laughin' now tha the creature began snatching livestock from tha farmers round these parts... Them bastards only did somethin' when their own property began to get attacked." the old man said, rambling more to himself than to Ozzy.

"Last time ah saw it was round tha river. Don't count me in though. With it's dagger like teeth and it's speed, ya free to go if ye want to kill yerself." He continued.

"Ah would be careful where ah step if ah were ya though. Left sum nasty surprises all round tha woods for tha damned beast... Hope them traps snap that white bastard thing's legs off..." the man said, with a hoarse laugh as he continued filling the hole with dirt.

As Ozzy spoke with the old man though, he noticed that despite having met the creature before, the man had no signs of wounds or scars on his body. According to what he said, it would be impossible for him to run away from the creature, especially due to his age. Not only that, but differently from what the old man said, the request the guild received mentioned only identifying the creature and not capture it or relocate it.

While waiting for Ozzy though, Haley would notice a few strange, old footprints on the ground, nearby the old man's house too. Judging by their size and form, they didn't seem to be from any animal which would normally live in the woods.

Little by little, the strangers were revealing information, unfortunately for Ayita, they seemed to have already noticed her presence. While they surely had different reactions upon acknowledging her presence, judging by the information Ayita had already gathered about them, they did seem to be indeed simply wanderers... at least she hoped. According to what she heard, the little blue one with sharp teeth was called Inori, the green giant, Korvash and the catman was Cadence of a Thunderstorm, the first one to present himself. While she had her doubts about how the giant Korvash would react, it seemed that Inori somehow was something akin to a 'master' to Korvash, seeing how he intimidated and stared down the giant despite the absurd difference in size... Which only made the small Inori even more suspicious on Ayita's eyes. Ayita herself didn't know exactly why, but she found easier to trust Cadence than the other two. Maybe it was the fact that his name remembered her of some of the names that other natives had back on her home, or maybe it was because he was part animal... Nonetheless, despite her not trusting Inori at all, assuming he would honor his own words, he would welcome a guest without any type of hostility.

After a moment of silence and after considering the risks and options Ayita had, she jumped down of the branch she was in with an delicate and agile movement, making almost no noise as she touched the ground. Maintaining a low posture and a safe distance, she slowly walked to a position where she had clear view of both Inori and Korvash. Not only it was useless to remain on top of the tree since the strangers already knew her location, but remaining there would also be worse for her if she had to run away from them. It was clear to them whom she really didn't trust though, mostly due to her stare. Seeing how Korvash had reacted to the cat man before was already something, but the fact that Inori had his claws wrapped around his spear didn't help. Since she was unarmed, she couldn't really make any mistake and had to take the most intelligent options in that type of situation.

"Ayita Ani’-Wa’Ya." she said, introducing herself to the group without taking her eyes off Korvash and Inori.

Having revealed and introduced herself, she was now carefully analyzing Inori, Korvash and even Cadence's reactions. Not only they were apparently from completely different races than she was, but even her clothes seemed to be relatively out of place. How they would react to her, their expression and words would play a large role defining how Ayita would approach them.
