As for face-claims, perhaps the God/Goddess has one preferred image that they use pretty much all the time, and just alters it in order to do some frick-frack with mortals. Or non-mortals, depending on which myth you're looking at.

Either way, I'm sure they settled on a final image - for example, Hermes is nearly always portrayed as a young man; Hephaestus is always portrayed as a disfigured dude, and Zeus always has his rockin' beard.

So, I like the idea of having F/C for their everyday image - at the very least it gives us an idea of what they may look like.
Obviously, if people share a Godly parent, you'll have to debate over it, but I highly doubt it'll cause many issues.

I like your idea about them having a preferred one. It allows us to put a face to them while still retaining some loyalty to the mythos of them having several ones. I'm sure @Plank Sinatra and @Onarax can agree to this, no? Of course, this is only the first step in the direction of deciding face claims for the godly parents. Speaking of which, I need to get at my half-siblings and discuss possibilities of face claims:3

How important is making posts look pretty?

I firmly believe that as long as the post or character sheet isn't overdressed in colors, then yes I do believe that making posts pretty-looking is important. As stated above, it separates those posts that are pleasing to read and those that are just a wall of text. I find the latter to be unattractive and as a result, I usually don't read them(see that I said usually, not always).

I just thought having a face to the gods would be an interesting thing to have for reference, but I can see how that would take away from some of their greatness. I just thought it would be something fun to do as a collaborative effort. Like, since there are a couple of us who have more than one character - actually, I think everyone has at least 2 characters - it would add another reason to work together to make the rp more fun, but like stated, I see how it wouldn't work out that well. So, I'll just drop it. ^^;

Hehehe, well I'm glad that my little plot twist is getting such great feedback. I was kind of worried that you guys wouldn't like it, but as @GoddessSophia has pointed out, it was a good one, so I'm glad. :)

As an added bonus, this should allow a lot of interesting routes for you guys to take your characters. I mean, of course no one knows about Celina and what she's all about, but perhaps characters who have the ability to see into the future could maybe have some hints about the incoming danger to Olympus Academy.

I'm also possibly working on something fun we all could work as to add more depth to the RP's universe such as adding face claims to the Godly Parents. I mean, eventually they will play a pivotal role in the RP and make ocassional appearances, so it would be nice to have faces to the name, right?

@Altered Tundra I hate writer's block so I know the feeling. But you've done a good job, I am sure Hushed will think so. :) You pulled it off rather nicely with the 3-4 out of 11 teachers, writing all of them would have been too much, maybe. More like a Novel for one post :) Lols.

I am just wondering what we should do with Skye/Stella in the mean time, since Hushed mentioned something about not minded them being kidnapped or something like that.

I sure hope you're right. She gave me great power and we all know what a certain uncle of a certain teenaged-superhero said about power. XD

As for it being a Novel, you're probably right. I just didn't want to force all of the characters speaking just for the sake of them having a line or two. I felt that, considering what happened, that the ones that I did choose to speak would suffice enough. I just felt like that Miguel would be the type to be supsicious of Celina - especially since even her being the Headmistress raises questions and eyebrows by itself, but now it should raise even more of them. As for John, I just felt that Captain John Picard - I mean Mr. John Levesque would be the type to be caring and consoling to Celina, even though all of it is a big facade.

And yeah, she did say that. The thing about that, though, is that Stella would probably be one of the last ones to be kidnapped - or at least, be the focus of an attempted kidnapping since she's Zeus' daughter and all. For Skye, however, he could possibly be a potential next one. The thing is making the decision on who should be the next one.
