"A long, long time ago, we gods came to this world. The world of you, our children, seeking excitement. And we decided that we would live here with you forever in the lower world. We decided to seal away our divine power, and enjoy life with all the hardship and inconvenience that it entails. We can offer you only one thing: the power to fight monsters, what we call our blessing. The children given this power become our servants, our familia."
The main building of the Guild is called the Pantheon. It is a wide space with counters for adventurers to talk with their advisors and also has a exchange area. There are also small meeting boxes where adventurers can talk one on one with their advisor without anyone else hearing them. Aside from that there is a library area.
The main goal of the Guild is to manage the monster threat created in the dungeon. Aside from this, the Guild buys magic stones, drop loot, and adventurer created maps of the dungeon. The Guild also provides weapons and armor to new adventurers who are just starting out.
The Guild staff also take the position of advisors for adventurers, often suggesting at what depth an adventurer should go in a dungeon in accordance to their level and skills, as well as warning them of any special dangers of certain floors and how to prepare against them. A staff member may be in charge of one or more adventurers.
Tower of Volkrun
The tower was built after the emergence of the dungeon in Rezion and is owned by the Guild. The first twenty floors are filled with Familia business, facilities, and money exchanges. Above that are living areas of the most prominent Gods in Rezion, known as the Private Rooms. There are some gods who prefer to live with their children, the most prominent being the goddess Athena.
Dungeon
The dungeon is a complex labyrinth of unknown length underneath the Tower of Volkrun.
The Dungeon is seemingly alive, spawning monsters from walls and ceilings and repairing itself on its own. It has an immense hatred of the Gods, immediately sealing the exits of a room if it detects one, and spawns a black version of a monster in order to kill them. The black monsters are far stronger than normal and display some intelligence, as the Black Wyvern looked around for its target. Despite this, it doesn't spawn another black monster after the first one is killed even if the God in question isn't dead.
The dungeon is vast with the floors becoming progressive larger the deeper it gets. It takes at least five days for a party to reach the 50th floor. While the upper floors can be soloed or done with a pair, starting from the middle floors one must create a party or risk death. There are several safety points in the dungeon where no monsters are born. The closest one being floor 17 that resembles an ocean-front.
Monster Colosseum
The Monster Colosseum is where non-adventurers can go to watch brave gladiators fight monsters. Due to the largest area in the center, it is often used for large festivals and other kind of performances that require a large stage. Fights between adventurers occur during tournaments, in which the grand prize is a large sum of Valis and a rare item.
The Heavenly Baths
A location in the upper floors of Valkrun, it is a extravagant bath house that is reserverd exclusively for the gods. The punishment for mortals entering the baths is quite severe.
Main Street
The largest street in Rezion that lead directly from the guild house to the Tower of Valkrun at the center of the city. Many merchant stalls and stores are set up along this street in hopes of drawing in adventurers either before or after their venture into the dungeon.
Rezion Shipyards
A large district filled with several docks and several warehouses, many adventures of the Poseidon Familia are hired onto vessels to protect them from monster attacks. Everything from large cargo ships to small sailing boats can be found here. It is also host the Poseidon Familia's own fleet of ships.
The Titled Orc
A tavern on the main street of Rezion that is often frequently by adventurers. The owner is said to be a retired level 6 adventurer so very few people ever skip out on their bills. Since it is favorited by both the Anubis and Athena Familias, it is the only place the two rivals seem to get along.
Barrel's Edge
The opposite side of the coin in comparission to The Titled Orc, Barrel's Edge is often a hang-out for the lower end of society mostly including criminals and other ruffians. Brawls are frequent in this tavern, with the loser having to pay the other's bill.
Familias
Athena
The biggest and most successful familia in Rezion in regards to fighting the monsters in the dungeon, the Athena Familia possess some of the strongest adventurers in all of Rezion. Adventurers wishing to join this familia must be as cunning as they are strong. Their success in clearing the floors of the dungeon are thanks to their complex formations made up of simpler parts. The goddess Athena is often said to be tough but fair on her children. The Athena Familia's compound holds a large library that is open to all familias.
Poseidon
The Poseidon Familia has an almost complete monopoly on sea-based monster quests, as their members are often the best suited for such an adventure. While they do go on expeditions into the dungeon, they mostly keep the waters safe of monsters with their large fleet of ships designed for combat. Poseidon himself is a bit of womanizer at times but treats all of his children equally, often taking interest in the growth of newer members.
Aphrodite
Members of the Aphrodite Familia are often some of the most beautiful and handsome adventurers in Rezion. Perfumes and clothing produced by the Aprhodite familia are of the highest quality and extremely sought after. Fighting with 'grace' is perhaps one of the largest tenets of this familia. The goddess Aphrodite will often try to lure handsome and/or beautiful adventurers from other familias into joining hers.
Baldur
A great sense of duty to the common people tie together the members of the Baldur Familia. They hold several charities across the city of Rezion and do their best to promote understanding to the citizens of the city. Every two months a different festival is hosted by the Baldur Familia and is one of the most anticipated events of the year within Rezion. Adventurers of the Baldur Famiia will often help new adventurers in the dungeon no matter of their familia.
Kagu-Tsuchi
A familia consisting of the greatest smiths in Rezion, the equipment they make is highly desirably and the top-tier stuff is incredibly strong but incredibly expensive. Smiths of the Kagu-Tsuchi familia will often accompany other familias on major expeditions to keep their equipment in good shape. They are probably the wealthiest familia in Rezion. Weapons and armor created by Kagu-Tsuchi himself are believed to be priceless.
Anubis
The second-strongest adventuring familia in Rezion, though not by much. They are in constant rivalry with the Athean Familia and it is not uncommon for the two familias to get into verbal fights. Despite this, they hold a significant place with all familias due to setting up quality funerals for the adventurers who die. Despite his fearsome appearance, the god Anubis is quite smothering of his children.
Isis
A familia that specializes in creating a wide range of healing items and medicine, adventurers who are critically injured are often healed by members of the Isis Familia once out of the dungeon. It is a rumor that the Isis Familia can cure anything that ails you and have the power to even bring back the dead. This, of course, is not entirely true but the rumor has refused to stop. The goddess Isis is kind and gentle, acting like a nurturing mother to her children.
*They are more Familias in Rezion but these are the ones you can join
Ability Scores, Leveling, and Skills
There are two kinds of abilities, basic and development. Basic abilities are your given scores in the categories of Power, Endurance, Dexterity, Agility, and Magic. Each one is shown with a rank and a number from 0-999. 0-99 is I, 100-199 is H, 200-299 is G, 300-399 is F, 400-499 is E, 500-599 is D, 600-699 is C, 700-799 is B, 800-899 is A, and 900-999 is S. It gets progressively harder to gain points. Inactivity or major injuries may cause a decrease in your skills but with the availability of healing magic, it will be quite rare. Your starting Basic Abilities score(Stats) will be determined by your race and the type of weapon you will be focusing on. Those wishing to cast spells will have a high Magic score than someone who wants to wield an axe. The Spirit race has a natural higher magic skill than a dwarf is just one example. The values will equal a starting total of 100.
Development abilites are specialized characteristics that have a chance of developing after an adventurer has achieved level two. Like basic abilities, development abilities are also categorized from I to S; however, they are much harder to train. They consist of aspects such as poison reistance, increasing swimming speed, or allowing special qualities to be added to crafted weapons and many more.
Levels can only be earned after an adventurer has earned rank "D" in one of their basic abilities. Once an adventurer has achieved that, they must perform a feat that would impress even the gods. Every time an adventurer levels up, their basic abilities drop to 10 with the points they earned before leveling up serving as a base. That means that a level 3's I rank scores will be much better than a level 1's I rank scores for example.
Skills can appear at any time regardless of the level of the adventurer. Obtaining a skill is believed to be quite rare, and having one unique to the individual is thought to be even rarer. Skills that have an "Active Trigger" require the user to purposefully activate them before use.
Combat
While moving through the dungeon or another area where there is monsters, playing will make posts detailing where they are going and where they want to go. Players will have a chance to react 95% of the time when encountering monsters before they attack. Once engaged, a turn-based system will be used where Players have 3 actions they can preform such as attacking, casting a spell, or using an item.
Strength is the primary attribute for physical attacks and Magic is the primary attribute for magical attacks. Dexterity is the attribute determines how well you can handle your weapon and how quickly you can strike. Agility is responsible for your movement speed and dodging attacks. Endurance reflects how much damage you can take before succumbing to your injuries.
Players who keep casting spells after their mana is depleted will suffer a condition called "Mind Down" in which they pass out and are extremely vulnerable to attacks as their mana recharges. Similarly, should a player's HP drop to 0 it does not mean they are immediately dead in most cases. They will instead be critically injured and in need of immediate healing.
Magic
There are two different types of magic, congenital magic and acquired magic. Congenital magic is based on one's own ability and race whereas acquired magic is based on the blessing given by the God or Goddess. Most spells that are learned also increased in level as the adventurer get stronger and goes up in levels.
Magic is normally cast by saying chants but magic with the special attribute 'Swift Strike' can be cast simply by saying the spell's name aloud.

Welcome to Rezion Adventurer!
At the center of the city of Rezion lies a large tower, much like its neighboring city, Orario. The floors above ground are filled with the shops of various familias and wealthy merchants looking to sell their items to adventurers looking to go down into the dungeon. All the floors below ground are filled with dangerous monsters, that when killed drop a valuable stones that can be exchanged for varying amounts of money. A large organization simply called "The Guild" handles all of the adventurers going into the dungeon and does the exchanging of the magic stones for money. Every adventurer is assigned an Guild Advisor when they start out in order to help them on their journey.
Upon entering a Familia, the adventurer will receive their Falna..the grace given to them by their God or Goddess. Through this Falna, Adventurers can gain a resource, called exilia, from monsters to grow stronger. Every adventurer gets stronger when their goddess/god updates their stats via a large tattoo on their back, that goes away with time. This is also a way to identify new adventurers, as the more experienced ones will not have it visible.
You have chosen to join, or have been invited, to join one of the familias in Rezion. Not all the familias focus on fighting in the dungeon, some choose to use their blessing to craft great weapons or precious potions under the guidance of their goddess or god. The path ahead will be dangerous, for sure, but if you survive you will become strong. Find your riches, find adventure, and most important of all...find your family.
1. Be courteous to others in the RP and be sensible 2. One character for now (If your character dies, you may make a new one to replace them) 3. Characters MUST be either posted in the OOC or PM'd to me and approved before posting them in the Characters tab. 5. Do not god-mod! 6. Have fun!
Reylan was just about to leave from the location as Shiba approached him, something clearly on his mind "Oh hey there Shiba." He said casually. Reylan listened attentively to Shiba's words, nodding at the end to show his agreement "I haven't had lunch yet so why don't we stop in a diner and talk there?" He suggested with a smile, if Shiba needed help he would be more than ready to listen.
He smiled a bit as it seemed that Reylan was willing to talk about what he would need. Shiba only hoped that he would be able to convince him for the loan. Then Shiba got a message from river asking about another quest so he said to Reylan " that sounds good to me. I'll let you pick the place" Shiba then typed a back a pm and sent it to river saying "sorry gonna take a raincheck on that. Busy with Reylan he then sent it before gesturing for Reylan to lead the way to whichever place he felt like eating.
"Cool, there is a place nearby I think." He said as he opened his menu to both look at the map and to send a PM to Alisea stating he might be a little delayed. Just as he sent it, he received one from Xenos talking about the night watch quest. Quickly he responded as he walked along to a place called "The Gilded Hearth.", it was on the way to the library and should provide a decent place for conversation. Reylan led Shiba inside and they were seated a window-side table immediately, a slim blonde female dressed in a red gown with a white apron stood above them with a bright smile on her face "Welcome to The Gilded Hearth! Can I get you two something to drink?" she asked with a bubbly quality about her "Uh, a water please!" Reylan responded though he wished they had soda. After Shiba had told her what he wanted and she left, Reylan spoke to him "So what is it that you need the guild's help for?" He asked directly.
Great! Shiba has to talk with me about something then I'll be right over!
He nodded as he said there was a place close by and followed him. They found themselves at a place called gilded hearth and were promptly seated by a window. When their waitress asked for their drink he asked for the same not really interested in anything heavier since his stomach was in knots over what he would ask. He would be asking for a large sum from the guild he only just joined after all so he was a bit on edge. When he came out with it and asked what he needed the guilds help for he sighed to keep himself calm. He then smiled before saying "I find myself in need of money. It's not that I'm broke honestly it's because I wanted to start a business. Now before you say no just hear me out, this is still early in the game and a player made business would do much better then businesses run by npcs. I have 10 thousand in my possession, what I'm asking for is for the guild to provide the last 5 thousand I need to buy property and the workshop outside of the city walls. If you do then I'll be able to have a constant flow of money pouring into the guild and stand to make more in the long run. All I would need are ingredients like iron and leather. I know this seems like a lot but I will make the business a success and help the guild grow bigger in the future with said revenue" he said hoping he gave a good sales pitch. He never did this before and was worried he forgot to include something or say how well it will work in the long run
Reylan remained silent for the entire duration of Shiba's explanation of his plan, a look of intrigue located in his expression. If they could secure the iron mine contract, that would provided a lot of resources for both the shop and Xenos's crafting needs. Hell they could even sell stuff Xenos makes at the shop. He was however hesitant on funding a shop that would be opening on the first floor, but he figured with a little advertising it would gain some customers. Also, he was unaware of any other players starting such a business yet so it might be a good idea to start soon. His hand gripped his chin as he thought carefully about this, 5000 renn would mean the majority of the guild's current funds. The waitress came by with his water and he placed his order, a seasoned pork cutlet with some potatoes and cooked carrots. Finally, he spoke "I can see that you are pretty confident about this, I just wish that you would have come to me before you drew out the loan." He stated with a deceptive small frown on his face "That being said, If I am to give you this amount of money then 40% of the profits will go to the guild. I am working on an contract with the council to secure some iron already, so that will provided as well. Would that be acceptable?" He stated, his tone sounding like the leader he strived to be.
Shiba could hear his heartbeat in his ears from how anxious he was. He didn't know if his plan would work but the fact of the matter was that this would pay for itself in no time. So many players will look for weapons made a player like him more often then they would a npc. The benifits far outweighed the cost to make it happen. When the waitress came by he shook his head not wanting anything. He would be paying for an entire workshop after all and soon he finally gave him an answer. Shiba couldn't help the nervous laugh that escaped him when he said that he wished Shiba came to him first before taking out a loan. He then sighed softly in relief his heart finally calming down as he agreed to it so long as the guild got 40% which was reasonable considering Shiba assumed he would want half. Hearing that he would also provide iron was a big plus to this deal so Shiba could spend his time honing his craft rather then learn how to mine himself. He smiled as he asked if that would be acceptable and Shiba held the sleeve of his kimono before holding out his hand and saying "it's a deal. You won't regret this " Shiba said waiting for him to shake his hand before taking his hand back. He then said "I'm planning to name the shop "lethal feather" and specialise in light weaponry. If someone else in the guild decides to become a Smith like me then we would need to talk about the shop as business partners. Otherwise I'm grateful you decided to take a chance on me, it means a lot boss. Though do I need to start calling you partner now?" he asked his easygoing persona starting to come back now that the hard part was over with.
Reylan nodded as he took Shiba's hand and firmly shook it, smiling kindly as he said brightly "I know I won't." He pulled his hand back and leaned back in his chair as he heard the name for the shop "I like the name, sounds pretty cool. I know you will come through Shiba."As a leader, Reylan believed it was good to place trust in those you were in charge of. Also, he genuinely believed Shiba would do well with his shop. He rubbed the back of his neck as he nervously laughed "I'd prefer it if you just call me Reylan." He wasn't entirely comfortable with being called by some title just yet, though he figure he would have to eventually as the guild got bigger "I suppose you could go on your way if you want, I'll be meeting with Alisea after this." He informed Shiba as he sent him the funds he requested.
He smiled glad that he decided to put so much confidence in him as it spoke volumes about him as a guild leader. When he said he liked the idea of the shop name Shiba was a bit proud of himself since he knew it would certainly get people's attention. When he said to just call him Reylan Shiba laughed a bit and said "sorry it's force of habit. I don't usually use first names he admits with a smirk. When he got the money he needed from Reylan he nodded and said "yeah their is a bunch of logistical stuff that I need to deal with on my end like getting the land, all the equipment and so on. Afterwards I will be waiting for the iron deal to happen before actually smithing. Great talking with you Reylan I'll send you a pm when I got the place up and running" he said before he stood gave him a soft nod and left to go and buy the land since he knew the perfect place not far from the main road into the city that would be perfect for a shop
Once Reylan had gotten his food, he finished it relatively quickly. He didn't wish to keep Alisea waiting any more than he already had. He had to admit it felt good being addressed as the leader and being asked for help. After all that is what he really wanted, to help everyone get through this alive and make the crazy adventures not suicidal at the very least. After a bit of navigating, Reylan entered the library and was kind of amazed at the amount of books around, he wasn't really that much of a bookworm so he didn't go inside libraries often outside of college. It had been easy enough to find but now he had to find her. It took a few moments but he eventually spotted her and walked up, knowing that shouting across the room would have been discouraged "Hey there, How's the uh, reading going?" He decided to ask, voice soft as to not disturb others.
"Nightmarish," Alisea answered with a grin. To demonstrate, she pulled what looked to be "The Little Red Hen" off the shelf. She flipped it open to the first page and handed it to Reylan so he could view the foreign script. Slashes and squiggles flowed along the bottom of the page beneath the large and colorful pictures. "Most of the books here are written like that; only a small and very bland portion come in our alphabet--texts like instructions and manuals."
He took the book without question and looked down at the pages, strangely enough he could recognize a few of the words but most of the text was gibberish to him "Yep, looks like mostly nonsense to me. That's gotta be frustrating." He grinned as he handed it back to her, feeling a little silly that he couldn't read what had to be a children's book "Anyway, about that thing I wanted to give you..." He went through his menu and took out Renn totaling 150 and extended it to her with a half-smile "It's about time I paid off that loan I think." He spoke happily.
Alisea looked at the proffered coins in surprise. "You remembered that? It seems so long ago," she laughed, not taking the coins yet. "At the beginning, when 150 renn felt like a fortune..." A somber cloud passed over Alisea's features. For a moment she was lost in her thoughts, but quickly the moment passed. She reached out and retrieved the coins. "Thank you, Reylan."
He laughed sheepishly "I was actually afraid you'd come hunt me down for it eventually." It did seem like ages since that day, everything was different now "It still is in my book, but now we can afford it I guess." A 150 renn was enough for 30 arrows at least. A puzzled look took ahold of his features as he noticed the somberness grow in her eyes. At last however, she took the coins and he was relieved of his debt to her. This one at least. "No need to thank me, I'm only doing the right thing. Besides, I should be thanking you and Aster for yesterday, I really needed that." He smiled brightly.
Alisea gave him a knowing smile. "So did she, I think," the magess muttered. Then, more loudly, "You should invite her out again; she enjoys opportunities to use her sword."
Reylan thought he just caught the end of Alisea saying something but figured it must have been his imagination "So I have noticed" He laughed a little. "You think I should? She always gets quiet when its just the two of us."
"And?" Alisea answered simply, as though silence was nothing concerning. "You will have fun."
A sheepish smile came over his lips "Ah good point. I will definitely consider it!" He stated, perhaps going a quest together would be good. Aster seemed to loosen up when fighting monsters. "Well I got more tasks to do today, so I have to get going. I'll see you later then?" He still needed to go the council to talk about the iron mines contract. With luck, they'll agree to it if they do the quest and beat the dungeon.
She chuckled at the question. "Paying that debt hardly ends our ties. See you back at the inn!"
"I would be disappointed if it did!" With that, he wished her goodbye and went on towards the City Council's building.
When Reylan arrived at the City Hall, the council member he had sent a message to was waiting for him. He had changed into his fancy clothing to give a stronger first impression, to let the council member know he was serious. "You must be Mr. Cainhart, what a pleasure to finally meet you in person!" He stated as he approached the well-groomed man, extending his right hand as his invitation to conduct business. Mr.Cainhart smiled dimly at him and took his hand, the handshake firm and brief "The pleasure is mine. You must be Mister Reylan. The guild-master of the Legion of the Wolf, if I am correct?" His expression was gentle yet serious, the flow of his speech befitting one of his station.
Reylan nodded "It is. The Legion of the Wolf is grateful towards the council for this opportunity." His tone one of respect. Cainhart chuckled softly "Nothing is decided just yet so hold your gratitude. The council has chosen me to hear your proposal, and determines if it is within our interests.". Reylan was very nervous at this point, though he hid it well. Securing this contract would benefit them more than it would the council, but he couldn't let that be known "Of course. I hope you will see how this proposal is mutually beneficial." It might be a hard sell, but he would not leave this meeting without something.
Cainhart smiled dimly once more "Please, follow me inside and to my office so that we may formally go over the details." Reylan moved to the door and held it open for the councilman "After you.".
The two walked up a grand staircase to the second floor of the city hall, silence befalling them until they entered Cainhart's office and sat down in red-cushioned chairs on opposite ends of a heavy, reddish-brown desk. Cainhart placed his elbows onto the desk, his fingers intertwining as sharp, cunning eyes looked over them. A kind smile displayed as he spoke "Now then, please tell the entirely of your proposal if you would. I wish to hear every detail." Reylan kept his expressions controlled, not letting it be known that he was slightly intimidated by the man "But first..." His fingers broke their lock and his right hand reached under his desk. A bottle of wine and two fine glasses were pulled from below, and settled on top of the desk "Would you care for a drink? I find it makes negotiations far less tense." Cainhart looked at him expectantly. Reylan had to shake his head "Thank you for the offer, but I will have to refuse." He said as politely as he could. The councilman looked at him for a moment with a look of minor disappointment "That is a shame, it is very good wine. Please proceed then." Cainhart spoke while pouring the dark, velvet liquid into the crystal glass. "Very well. The Legion of the Wolf hereby extends this proposal for a contract between the guild and the council over the protection of the iron mines..."
Reylan went into as much detail as he could about what he hoped to achieve and what he was seeking in return. Councilman Cainhart didn't just listen however, he often probed with questions about the contract. In the end, Reylan was not able to secure the contract right there but was given a deal that was satisfactory "Your offer is tempting, Mister Reylan, but I am afraid I can not accept it at this moment. The council needs proof that you are capable of the job you are advertising." Cainhart began "It is because of your success at Hill's Sorrow that I am willing to in turn extend this deal. If you complete the current quest we have posted and conquer the dungeon near the iron mines, you will have your contract." This was as much as Reylan expected. "If you find yourself in possession of more manpower, I will be willing to make the deal a little more lucrative in return for constant protection." He stated in such a way that indicated he was finished with what he had to say just then.
"I understand very well your hesitation to approve this contract. My guild will be heading to the dungeon the day after the Solace Festival. The next day I will return with news of our success." Reylan said quite confidently as he slowly stood up "Thank you Mister Cainhart for your time, the next time we meet I hope you will be ready to sign that contract." He extended his hand to the councilman once more. Cainhart's lips moved into a broader smile as he stood and shook Reylan's hand "I look forward to our next meeting and tales our your success. I wish you luck on your adventures." Amicable farewells were exhcanged and Reylan left the City Hall with a smile on his face. He may not have secured the contract right then, but he had laid the groundwork for future success.
Reylan noticed that the sky had gotten dark and a quick glance at the time confirmed his thoughts that it was nearly time for the night watch quest. It would appear that visiting Data 66 would have to wait for another day, as he didn't want to miss the chance to get to know his fellow guild members better. He visited a shoppe on the way to the quest location and purchased some food and drink for later while also grabbing something to snack on now. By the time he reached the spot, everyone else was already present. Guess his little side-stop made him a tad late to the party.
"Not a bad turn-out I think." He said as he approached them "Hey there, Aster..River..Xenos..Chari. I hope you all had a good day?" He said brightly, it was going to be an..interesting night with the group they had right now.

The current largest and most successful familia in Rezion is the Athena familia, with some of the strongest adventurers in the city. Feron, an elf, is rumored to be the strongest adventurer in the Athena familia and has a small following due to this status. He is capable of soloing the first few floor bosses by himself but does not the lead the familia's adventurers when in a party. There are many more strong adventurers and other familias in Rezion.
Greetings Everyone! This is an dungeon-crawling RPG based off the anime "Is is wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon?". In this RPG, you will start as a fledging adventurer who has just joined one of the familias in Rezion. You do not level up per se, but your stats increase depending on your experiences. For example, running from a monster will increase your agility or getting hit hard enough will increase your endurance. It is only through defeating a very tough enemy will you actually level up to acknowledge your current strength.
Stats will be used mainly as a guideline and not definitive numbers, meaning I will use your stats to gauge if what you are seeking to accomplish will actually succeed with what you are trying to do. Most of the stuff that happens outside of the dungeon will be more 'Slice of Life' stuff, and it is up to you how much you really want to get into that.
Here is an early version of the Character Sheet:
Name: Age: (15 to 20) *Exceptions can happen but must PM me with your reason Race: List of Races *You can be all of the races except "God" and "Xenos" Background:(Can just be Personal History or Personality as well) Familia: Alias/Title: None (Will be given upon proving oneself in your familia) Level: 1 Valis(Currency): Equipment: (Will be given upon hearing what your Character's fighting style is) Abilities(Stats) -Strength: , Rank: (Determines Physical striking power) -Endurance , Rank: (Determines health and physical resistance) -Dexterity: , Rank: (Determines skill with weapon and reactions) -Agility: , Rank: (Determines speed and range of movement) -Magic: , Rank: (Determines Mana, Magic damage, and magic resistance.) *Mana is needed for physical abilities, but at less cost than spells Skills: None (They will be earned as your Abilities scores increase or you level up)
You will get assigned a rank for a skill depending on how many point you have in that skill. Your starting Abilities score(Stats) will be determined by your race and the type of weapon you will be using the majority of the time. Those wishing to cast spells will have a high Magic score than someone who wants to wield an axe. The Spirit race has a natural higher magic skill than a dwarf is just one example. The values will equal a starting total of 100.
Skills are special abilities earned passively by adventurers as their scores and/or level increases. They are either passive or active. Passive skills do not require activation by the adventurer and provide a constant buff to their abilities. Active skills require action by the holder, typically by speaking the skill's name aloud. Both types of skills pose no mana drain on the wielder, but Active skills have a time-limit as to when they can be used next after activation.
Here is a small list of the current familias you can join: - Athena: Top Familia in Rezion - Poseidon: Famous for a large fleet of sailing ships - Aphrodite: Famous for perfumes and clothing - Baldur: Famous for Extravagant Festivals and Charity - Kagu-tsuchi: Famous for high quality(and expensive) gear - Anubis: Second only to the Athena Familia and in constant competition with them, creating a deep rivalry. - Isis: Famous for exceptional healing potions and other medicine
That is all there is for now, I hope you will join me on a grand adventure!
Arton nodded strongly at Rio, they could allow none to get through them. His focus diverted from everything else but the un-dead headed for the princess. His shield raised just underneath his eyes and sword ready to strike, he met the first un-dead by bashing his shield into its torso as it came for them. Anything to slow it down before swinging his blade across the creature's neck in a attempt to quickly decapitate it, these things were best taken out quickly he surmised.
"Ironskin!" He yelled out, strengthening his defense as he didn't want to take any chances right now. It was his sworn duty to protect others as a defender, so he would not so easily fall. His trust was put in the others to take out the remainder of the enemies, knowing that each one was very capable in their own right "I'll take the brunt of the attacks, just do what you can." He said to Nanda.
Back at the inn, Reylan was ready to call it in the for the night. He finally saw the message left behind by Paralyze and it hit him pretty hard. Luckily he had Alisea around to keep him from getting obsessed over this, and he was able to come to terms with it. Today had reminded him that it was important not to just discard all of his personal wants for the good of the group. In his mind, being a great leader always came at a sacrifice. This simply was not a healthy mindset for him to have, and he learned that today. Reylan now viewed being a leader as something he wanted to do, not just because it was what was best.
He sat down the desk in his room, placing the new paints and brushes along the edge as he flattened out one of the canvas he had. Today had provided him plenty of inspiration, so he was not going to waste it. Eagerly he dab the tip of his first brush in a black paint and began to paint the shape of a cliff. Reylan constantly switched between paints and mixing them as he shaded it properly, the hues as perfect as he could get them. Pink paint dotted the top of the cliff in the form of a cherry blossom tree that, along with the sunset, provided a nice contrast to the dark land. White clouds and running, bright red lava ran down the slopes of the rocks, eventually falling off the edge. After making some finsishing touches and cleaning it up a little, he was finished with his latest work. One he was quite proud of.
Reylan left the canvas to dry as he turned his attention to turning in for the night, the last of his energy now gone. A solid night's rest was needed tomorrow if he was going to get things done right for the guild. In the morning, he would talk to Xenos and River about joining the guild properly and setting up an iron supply. After that was done, he was going to post a few messages on the message boards to promote their guild and a couple other ideas he had. Once finished with that, Reylan's next stop was the info guild known as Data 66 to acquire some information about the other dungeons on this floor as well as some more specific knowledge. A exhausted sigh came out of him as he laid his head down, looking out at window in his room. Today had been one hell of a roller-coaster...and Paralyze...well wherever he was Reylan hoped he was happy. _______________________ Summary: -Bought ->Large Quiver(common) - 60 ->20 Flame Arrows(common) - 140 ->20 Short Shots(common) - 80 ->20 Obsidian Arrows(common) - 120 ->Clothes(common) x 2 - 30 ->Sturdy Clothing(common) - 50 ->Fancy Clothing(common) - 75 ->Leather Gloves -> 20 ->Cloak - 30 ->Shoes - 10 ->Leather Boots - 20 ->Leather Armor(common) - 100 -> Scolls x 5 - 25 -> Canvas x 2 -60 -> Large Paint supplies - 30 ->Actions: -->Quick Load (5/Archer) - User immediately reloads an arrow. 100MP. -125 -->Light Feet (5/Archer) - User immediately dashes to a nearby location, having a small chance of dodging an attack. Day 7
Reylan woke up on the wrong side of the bed frankly, Paralyze's message floating in his mind as he got dressed. He had already chatised himself last night over it and today he promised to work on guild duties. First off being the contract with Xenos. Reylan made his way down the stairs to where Xenos and River were awaiting him, relaxing his muscles so he didn't appear so tense "Alright!" He spoke as he approached them."Let's get this started." A small, friendly smile on his face as he sat down at the table
"Alrighty, first I suppose proper introductions are in order. Xenos meet Reylan the leader of the Legion of Wolfs and Reylan this is Xenos, probably the best darn tinkerer you could find this side of Talrae"
Xenos returned the smile and put down his glass. "The best?" Xenos laughed loudly. "I haven't really had the opportunity to practice my craft. Iron is expensive and just a pain to gather. But hopefully with some support, we can change that around despite the rumors floating around about the Astral Blade and all that." Xenos leaned forward and rested his chin on the back of his hand. So gorgeous, what do we need to do to get an invite from your guild?"
River immediately swiped Xenos's hand from under him and gave him a stern look "Stop that. Focus."
He adopted a sheepish kind of look at the ratehr grandiose introduction River gave him, he was nowhere as important for that. Reylan listened to Xenos attentively, the mention of the Astral Blades catching his attention. To Reylan, they were the major competition. Gorgeous? That compliment caught him off-guard, it was not something he expected to hear. River's reaction to it however was quite amusing, the two would definitely fit well with the Legion "Well, you mentioned you were willing to repair our gear if we could supply you the iron. That would be a huge help. Also, if you could tell me what you know about the Astral Blades that would be plenty to get an invite. As for River, a person that has the ability to heal is always appreciated." He spoke with a kind tone "Besides, I think you would both get along well with the Legion."
Xenos stuck his tongue out at River before returning to his comfortable postion, frowning at Reylan. As much as he would like to tell him... Xenos sat back, fingers tapping on the table. "Repairs are easy so I have no problem with that. The issue with the Astral Blades however... I'm bound by signature not to reveal those details. Information broker confidentiality and all that fun stuff. I can tell you that your party's dungeon clear data could possibly be used as a bargening chip for it though. Or sell it and just purchase the information."
"So that's what you were up to all day yesterday? he turned to face Reylan now "As for fitting in with the Legion, well I sure hope so seeing that I'm meeting with one of your guild mates later on after this meeting. They'll get to witness me in action first hand too" River stuck out his hand in a thumbs up motion
A look of disappointment filled his face briefly, it was a shame that he wouldn't be able to learn more about his self-appointed adversaries "That is a good point, I planned on taking a trip to Data 66 later today." It fit with his main objective for today which was setting the foundation for a coalition of guilds, a united front to tackle the presumably harder floor-bosses "I bet you won't disappoint." He said turning to River "The way I see it, you two might as already be part of the Legion. So allow me to make a formal invitation." He went through the menu and sent a guild invite to both of them, of course due to the game's structure they wouldn't be 'official' members until the majority of the guild voted them in.
Content with the new invitations River smiled towards Reylan then gave a corky smile at Xenos and accepted the guild invitation. He stood of from the table and faced the two of them. "Thank you so much for the invitation, we won't let you down. I'm sure you two have plenty to talk on in the matters of the official contract but I don't believe I'm needed here anymore. Besides, I've got a rogue to catch and a Wolf to tame so I'll be quite busy for try rest of today. Take care and thanks again for the invite!" and with that he gave a polite bow then a wave goodbye to the pair as he hurried out the door.
Xenos quickly accepted the invitation and sent Reylan a grin. "Now about securing the iron. We'll probably have to talk to the Council to secure any sort of contract with the mines. Since the dungeon is close to the mines, they are a pretty high risk factor." He shrugged. "If it's anything like what the Astral Blades are doing, it's likely we can be expected to clear the area on a daily basis. But that means dungeon monsters and the Council will undoubtedly require proof of strength, perhaps clearing "The Ravine". The issue I will have moving forward is the Council. I'm afraid politicking isn't quite my forte." Xenos admitted sheepishly.
Reylan waved goodbye as River departed "See you later then! Good luck!" Just as they loss one guild member, two more came to fill their ranks. Was this simply how life in this game was going to be? "Leave the council to me then, I'm sure I could convince them." He stated with confidence, though he was not normally the persuasive type. Nevertheless, securing such a contract for the guild would likely prove to be quite beneficial.
"Gottcha! I'll leave it to you then, Guildleader!" Xenos gave him a two fingered salute and spun fluidly out of his chair before bowing. "I'll take my leave now master Reylan. If you need me for anything, don't hesitate to ask!" Xenos threw a wink over his shoulder and slid right over to bother Chari.
A small chuckle left him at Xenos's eccentric display, seriously...what a guy "Don't worry, I won't. See ya later Xenos." He got up from his seat, waved goodbye to anyone else he knew in the inn and headed out into the city on his own. His first objective was to get their name out there and attract more members, the easiest way to do that was the dashboard.
The city seemed much more lively now that everyone had begun to settle into life here, it was nice to see they weren't giving into fear. Everywhere he went he could feels eyes on him, probably staring at his strange hair and eyes but it was not just that. He had new clothes and a new attitude, he stood a little straighter and walked with more assurance. The loss of Paralyze and Alisea's talk with him had given him the determination to both stay true to himself and become a strong leader. Now in town square, he set about creating the first message; the one inviting others to the guild:
Join the Legion of the Wolf!: If you want to help everyone escape this game while having great adventures and forging strong bonds, you should join our guild! You won't have to worry about watching your back when you're in the wolf pack! We have already cleared a dungeon and are looking to clear them all. Contact Reylan if you wish to join or know more, we look forward to having you in our family! - Reylan
He hoped that would be good enough to bring in some more players or at least get the ball rolling. After the message was posted, he spotted the one about buying dungeon information. They people who were interested seemed to be the guild "The White Templars". This might be a good thing to check out so Reylan decided to meet this Crystalball later. Next was the Call to Arms, as he liked to say:
A United Front: This is an message to all guilds and their guild-leaders. As you all know, We cannot beat this game until every floor is beaten. Every floor dungeon is bound to be much harder than the regular dungeons before it and thus there is a greater risk of life. That is why I am proposing the establishment of a united front to tackle the more difficult bosses that one guild alone cannot. If you truly seek to beat this game and save the lives of everyone in it, message Reylan of the Legion of the Wolf. There will be a meeting in the Guild Hall the day after the Solace Festival for any who wish to attend. - Reylan
A lot of his trust and hope was put into that message, as he knew the the floor bosses would more than any one guild could handle...at least without losses. It was only smart to band together to tackle the harder parts of the game, something he hoped they realized. His mind went back to the guild looking for dungeon information and he pulled up the game's messaging system and sent a private message to Cyrstalbal, leader of the White Templars:
"Hello Cystalball, I am Reylan of the Legion of the Wolf. My guild recently cleared the dungeon: The Hill's Sorrow. If you are interest in information about the dungeon, I would be happy to sell it you! Cheers!" - Reylan
Now that all of that was taken care of, his next destination was the city hall to talk about a special iron contract with the city's council. This would give the guild a much needed source of iron while given them a greater reputation with players and the NPCs. He looked quickly at his inventory, he had no idea what to do with all this raw material they had gotten from the boss. Shrugging, he started on his way excited about the day. The pm suddenly reminded him of something urgent he needed to do.
"Hey, Where are you at right now? I got something I gotta give you."
_____________ Extra:
Color Differences: Scarf is light blue, light brown color is a dull, warm black and the dark brown is a white.
It seemed that her light tease had gotten the desired reaction from her acquaintance, Aeschel. Her eyes lit up a little upon hearing his comment on her smile "I don't think you really want to know the answer to that." She gave him a coy wink before looking over at Aqua with a completely friendly expression "Awesome!" She responded before setting her things down, glad that the shark-girl had given permission. She felt that Aeschel had been looking for it as well but she figured she would just ask directly. Her head tilted a little to the side, looking at Aeschel, as he seemed to compliment her "Thanks!" It was nice to have someone notice it, though she was wondering why he said that. People where she came from often used compliments to get something out of you or distract you from something else.
Her thumb and pointer-finger pinched her forehead as Aeschel sloppily recreated the handshake she had done on the airship, it was quite embarrassing to be honest. She had no choice to show him the proper way later if only for her own sake of not seeing THAT again. Perhaps she best help him out on this one "And I'm Cinna." She spoke to both of them "That's a sweet hat Kobes. Looks good!" The lack of hesitation in her voice added to her voice's strength, using the name Aqua gave for Kobalt. While talking to them, she spotted Daedalus setting up next to a wall. She couldn't help her eyes from drifting to his robotic arms. He was a cyborg? That was so cool! Now she sorta understood why he kept to himself but that wouldn't stop her from pestering him when she wanted.
