SALSA VERDE
SALSA VERDE

▅▅▅▅austin | ♏︎ | he/him | 28 | vegan

Hi, I’m Salsa Verde, arguably the best salsa and formally known as the writer, Syn. I’m a Wildlife Biologist traveling the country looking to work with the coolest: herps, mammals, birds, and invertebrates I can get my hands on. I also like plants, trees, and fungi specifically. I’ve been writing for about 13 years now and recently decided to get back into it. I enjoy anything from casual to high roleplay, 1x1, and arena. My main genres tend to be anime, SOL, and superhero but I’m really down to participate in anything. And yeah I like all that weeb shit.

Name: Chigiri, Sagara
Age: 19
Sex: Male
Personality:
Sagara is a rather simple man, he seeks no real justice in life all he really cares about is the safety of his brother and a hot meal to meet him every day when he returns from training. Sagara has adopted the philosophy that if he becomes stronger he’ll be able to protect anyone from trouble, hence why he joined the academy. Sagara is fiercely loyal to his friends and especially his younger brother and risks everything on the line for their safety; however he will not die because his will to live is too strong to allow himself to die and leave the ones he loves most alone and hurt. Sagara is a man filled with the humblest qualities; he’s kind, outgoing, protective, and intuitive. Sagara is a man that makes sure to see the best in people and easily allows his trust to be lent and given back in return. Sagara will turn his abck to no one and let every voice be heard whether it be from the poor, a lady of the evening, or even his opponent. Sagara is also quite astute, being able to see inconsistencies and incongruities in the words and actions of other people and point them out bluntly.
Appearance:

Weapon(s)/Item(s):
Zanbatō (See Image)
Sagara’s Zanbatō possess a rather unique ability. Like its original properties of taking down a man and his horse this behemoth of a weapon has been adapted for a much more ninja appropriate model of fighting. Sagara’s Zanbatō is molded to adapt to powerful bolstered defenses including men and horses still. You see Sagara’s Zanbatō’s qualities are based off of the effects of Nuclear Fission. The Zanbatō ‘breaks apart’ chakra which would be the energy or nucleus of this ability, when the weapon meets a bolstered defense it first nullifies any means of resistance and then quickly breaks apart the chakra in the immediate vicinity. Thus destroying the chakra and the defense behind it, the users movements are very versatile and moves elegantly even though one single man would be unable to move it freely. Sagara’s abominable strength allows him to wield it with ease. Sagara’s specialty with his weapon especially comes out with his fighting style. Using centrifugal force Sagara is able to swing his weapon effortlessly and use the force to increase the power of his swings. So far Sagara being an A ranked almost S ranked ninja he is easily able to destroy normal defense and even penetrate rugged defenses like Susano’o.
Village birthplace: Kirigakure
Clan: Chigiri
History/Background:
Zukin and his brother, Sagara have a long, unknown history before their time. They know nothing about it, but all will be answered once they have unlocked the door to their destiny. As of now, the brothers believe to have been born in Kirigakure. They think that both of their parents disappeared on them as soon as they were born, and the village raised them. Life growing up in Kirigakure has been pretty generic for them, even with all their years of life. They have gone through tough battles, and tests but none important enough to talk about. Soon, that will change forever. (Will be Developed IC, seriously.)
Dorm/Element(s): None
Rank: A

Kekkei Genkai:
Name: Anoyo
Type: Spiritual
Description:
The Anoyo; an infamous ability only Sagara and Zukin possess, created by their very own father, a person they have never me in this lifetime. What Sagara and Zukin do not know is that they have had two lives. Their first life was many, many years ago but they have no memory of it. Their father was a man who was obsessed with making contact with those that lived in the past. For years he tried to create a technique in which he could do such that, and talk to someone from the spirit realm. His research meant the world to him, even more than his own family. His wife, Zukin and Sagara's mother was growingly ill and eventually died off but this man, he didn't seem to care.

And when he finally believed he was close to his goal, he chose to use his own sons, Zukin and Sagara as guinea pigs. Well things went horrible wrong, and Zukin and Sagara's souls laid helpless in the spirit realm. Their father was left with their souless, lifeless bodies. Zukin and Sagara looked very different back then, much like their mother who they never got the chance to meet.

When their father was caught by a shinobi he was quickly banished from the village, hated forever. He left Kirigakure, ashamed but still needed to accomplish his goal, this time to make things 'right'. For years, he began to work on the jutsu again, with a few modifications. He was going to bind Zukin and Sagara's souls to the bodies of two others so that they could live again. He wasted no time in creating the jutsu, and locating two sick children, both from different places to host the souls of his lost children. By this time Zukin and Sagara's souls had underwent changes that would forever bind their souls to the spirit realm, even if they had somewhat left.

Their father performed the ritual, but reincarnating two souls was not without a price. Zukin and Sagara's father's body and soul was to bound to the Spirit Realm forever. The transfer of the souls to the dying bodies took about a year, and both Zukin and Sagara possessed new bodies, but they were too young to remember anything. Zukin was a newborn when he died, and Sagara was 1 year old, coming up on his second birthday. Once their souls had been placed in the dying bodies, the illness within the bodies disappeared, and they were both found by a group of nomads traveling into Kirigakure.

From then on the brothers were raised in Kirigakure having no prior knowledge of their past lives. When using the binding process, their father had given both the bodies a simple chakra form, that did not allow them to use elemental abilities, but their chakra, a product of the spirit realm also, could only be used by them, therefore it was impossible to absorb, and be used for others. That also made it impossible for their chakra to mix with another's besides those two. The reason for the illness within the bodies their father found had disappeared is because the process also made the two of them immortal.

Zukin or Sagara cannot be killed by normal means because of their bodies and souls being products of the spirit realm. The only way to dispatch of them is to seal them, or use one of their own 'spirit abilities' against them.

Their spirit ability lists a wide range of things for them to use.

The first ability is the ability of the brothers to use the spirits for '4th Wall Awareness", meaning they can tell when one's universe is false, allowing them to discern illusion from reality.

The second ability is the ability to allow their souls to leave their own body and travel. This would be helpful for gathering Intel as opponents would not be able to detect a soul, unless they had a certain ability to do so. They must always leave their body in a safe place though. They can also travel to the Spirit Realm with this ability.

The third ability is the ability to see and manipulate spirit threads. Spirit threads are thin blue lines that are used by spirits to travel. They are located pretty much everywhere, and Zukin and Sagara can see them, and manipulate them for combat with something known as spirit weaving. They can string the threads together to create solid weapons out of thin air, or even use them to locate enemies if their other senses cannot be used. Although, if a weapon formed from the spirit threads were ever to impale them in the heart, or head they would be immediately sent to the spirit realm. This is the way to defeat them for good in combat. Spirit Threads can also be used to attach severed limbs, even the head.

The fourth ability is the ability of Claircognizance. Zukin and Sagara may learn about a person, or object by simply touching them for about a minute. They can also learn about abilities by calling on past spirits with knowledge on said ability.

The final major ability is the ability to 'merge' with spirits as well as retract the souls of their opponent’s lifeless bodies for their own use. When merging with a soul they will obtain the soul's abilities from their past life, but they can only merge with one soul at a time, and only one a day.

*These are not all the abilities, but just the major ones that matter.

Zukin and Sagara have absolutely no knowledge that they are able to do these things, and won't until the ability is unlocked. If Zukin or Sagara are struck in a vital point on their body these abilities will be unlocked, but it will take a long while to master them all.

Powers*:
Incantation: N/A
Range: Short-Long
Description: With his advanced use in water Snow has developed quite an effective magic, He is able to create snow amongst other things. His Magic allows him to control the weather in the immediate vicinity, or more specifically, control the water in the surrounding atmosphere which allows for the user to decrease the temperature below freezing point so the habitat of snow can take its place and create its course into snow. With the temperature shooting down to below zero tiny ice particles are made which in turn creates a granular material know as snow which has a soft structure. This ability also allows him to control ice. Though that isn't the end of it, with his control over water he can not only decrease the temperature of water, but also increase it allowing him to create boiling water and steam.

Incantation:
Range: Long
Description: The user emits cold creating an area suitable for this attack. The user is then able to create water which he then begins to increase the temperature of the water allowing it to evaporate into a gas form amongst manipulation the gas becomes water vapor which is then released into the sky above, Once above the water is consume by the clouds which in turn become heavier and heavier snow begins to form and fall below them, the snow is heavy and quickly sticks and accumulates onto the ground. The main purpose of the technique is to lower the temperature's around him which hinders the opponent and create hypothermia and frost bite. .

Incantation:
Range: Long
Description: The user focuses their mana around a wide distance of about 30 meters while being charged up the user begins to emit cold, quickly decreasing the temperature around him and the rest of the area, the ground begins to freeze over quickly turning nature into beautiful ice crystals. When the user has completed their mana kneading the user releases into a cold snap plummeting the temperature around them to subzero temperatures eventually trickling down to 0 kelvins which is the lowest a temperature can go. The aftermath left is the entire area becomes coated in ice, the enemy or enemies are trapped and encased in ice which is extremely hard to melt, and the user also turns to ice unable to break out. This is his ultimate technique ensuring the imprisonment of himself and possibly his opponent

Incantation:
Range: Short
Description: This particular technique is used as a defense against most hand to hand specialist. The user removes his clothes which leaves him completely naked. The user then turns his body more specifically the epidermis into a thick layer of ice this is also of course done over time. When fully complete the user's body becomes a tomb of ice which leaves the user immobilized. The ice itself is sturdy, but can be broken with ease, though that's not the main purpose. If hit the opponent's skin would have been subjected to the extreme cold of the ice surrounding him, depending on the amount of mana is used several different effects are taken. Only applicable twice per battle.

First degree
This is called frost-nip and this only affects the surface skin, which is frozen. On onset there is itching and pain, and then the skin develops white, red, and yellow patches and becomes numb. The area affected by frost-nip usually does not become permanently damaged as only the skin's top layers are affected. Long-term sensitivity to both heat and cold can sometimes happen after suffering from frost-nip.
Second degree
If freezing continues, the skin may freeze and harden, but the deep tissues are not affected and remain soft and normal. Second degree injury usually blisters 1–2 days after becoming frozen. The blisters may become hard and blackened, but usually appear worse than they are. Most of the injuries heal in one month but the area may become permanently insensitive to both heat and cold.
Third and Fourth degrees
If the area freezes further, deep frostbite occurs. The muscles, tendons, blood vessels, and nerves all freeze. The skin is hard, feels waxy, and use of the area is lost temporarily, and in severe cases, permanently. The deep frostbite results in areas of purplish blisters which turn black and which are generally blood-filled. Nerve damage in the area can result in a loss of feeling. This extreme frostbite may result in fingers and toes being amputated if the area becomes infected with gangrene. If the frostbite has gone on untreated they may fall off. The extent of the damage done to the area by the freezing process of the frostbite may take several months to assess, and this often delays surgery to remove the dead tissue.

Incantation:
Range: Short
Description: This technique if fairly simple, the user manifests ice onto his body forming or creating an outside structure/skeleton/armor. The ices become limbs and are one with the user becoming an extension of the user. The user can basically create ice claws, ice wings, or icy padding to protect from small things such as knives or darts.

Incantation:
Range: Long
Description: The user kneads his mana then creates a semi large dragon, though the dragon can be made out of several different materials such as snow, ice, and water, each attribute gives the dragon a different property. Snow creates minute frostbite, water creates a normal dragon, ice freezing a target's inflicted area, boiling water can burn a target creating blisters and burns in the inflicted area. The user can create one dragon or branch of into five which requires a substantial amount of mana including the mana needed to create different attributed dragons. The more dragons the weaker the attack and effects become.

Incantation:
Range: Long
Description: With a simple flick of a wrist and the mana that is released from it, the snow surrounding the user and his opponent begins to blow in different directions quickly becoming a snowstorm or blizzard of such, this technique allows for the decline in the body temperature in the opponent. Flurries of snow begin to cover the opponent also tries to trap the legs of the opponent from the accumulation of snow. The storm can also become a malevolent storm, this occurs by mixing the snow with more cold creating hail, the hail range from different sizes, from small drops to the size of tennis balls, getting hit by the hail will be painful and can be proven to severely injure if the head sustains a ratio of hits.

Incantation:
Range: Long
Description: This technique sends a massive amount of snow towards an opponent in the form of a wave, covering and crushing them in an avalanche of snow.

Incantation:
Range: Short

Incantation:
Range: Supplemnetary
Description: The user focus his mana on a wound and generates an icy blue aura around his hands performing the opposite of cauterization, The user focuses mana around the wound and infuses cold to seal the wound by freezing it and preventing any blood loss. The ice is used for immediate purposes and immediate care rather a Long term affect.

Incantation:
Range: Short-Long
Description: This technique allows the user to infuse mana into the snow, rain, or hail to be able to detect and pinpoint the location of a fellow or opposing mage. The Mana infused weather becomes part of the user itself since the mana is being funneled into the weather allowing him to keep track of movement within the rain, snow, or hail. This technique requires there to be a form of precipitation to use and drains mana efficiently depending on the range exerted.

Incantation:
Range: Supplementary
Description: The user manipulates the moisture or water around him to create a small rotating orb of water around both of his hands, the water is used to treat or augment wounds such as burns, cuts, and can also extract venom or poison that might have entered the bloodstream. The water can also hydrate the target allowing for further recuperation and slowing down the process of fatigue. The water relaxes muscles that might become stiffened and can clean major wounds while circulating the blood back into the target's body. The effects of the water rely on how much mana is used by the user.

Incantation:
Range: Long
Description: The user using the moisture around him or any nearby water resource creates a dozen large empty orbs which are manifested around him. The orbs hold a key power, dehydration; the orbs are then launched and set around the opponent, if they hit the orbs will then suck out the moisture of the inflicted area leaving the body part inflicted frail and weak. The orbs that have sucked out the moisture become filled with the stolen water and can easily refuel anything that comes in contact with it such as the enemies inflicted body part. The orbs also serve another purpose, for when they obtain liquid the orbs begin to fade and the water is released into the atmosphere as more water vapor. The orbs are fairly sow and can easily be destroyed.

Incantation:
Range: Varying
Description: The user like with boiling water can heat up the water around him, though this time the water exceeds well over boiling point turning into steam which is invisible vapor, depending on how much mana is infused, results in the severity of the burn that is inflicted to the opponent. Minor burns can lead to blisters and then redness will appear. A third degree steam burn will penetrate deep into the flesh, and may be white, heavily blistered, and numb. Can only be used in the designated area of the body of water, which can be easily dodged.

Incantation:
Range: Varying
Description: The user creates a clone that is full of freezing water. At the user’s command, the clone will turn into water and freeze over anything that is touching it. The ice has the same durability of the user’s crystal ice mirrors.

Incantation:
Range: 10 yards
Description: Within ten yards, the user can freeze any body of water within it that is not a human being. However, a human being inside ten yards while this technique is used will be instantly covered in a large amount of frost, lowering their body temperature.

Incantation:
Range: Short
Description: The user unleashes giant spikes made of ice if they are endangered.

Incantation:
Range: Short
Snow can quickly create an ice dome around his allies and himself to act as a defense. It is strong enough to withstand a barrage of arrows.

Incantation:
Range: Short-Mid
Description: Using this technique, Snow gathers some water from the air and surrounding environment into one thousand Long needles. He then directs them to a specific target at high speed, leaping backwards before impact so he doesn't get caught in the crossfire. While the needles do surround a target from all sides, they don't appear above the target, creating an escape route. Snow is able to perform this technique with one-handed seals, allowing him to pin an opponent's arm and attack while they cannot use any techniques themselves.

Incantation:
Range: Long
Description: The technique is simple, but due to its range, it is deadly and has a high killing potential. The technique requires that a snowstorm be in effect. This allows the user to control the snowflakes like blades. The snowflakes must all move in one direction at a time.

Weaknesses*: Close range battle, Armor, Durability, Extreme heat and lightning.

Occupation: Mage

Specialization*: Alchemy

Personality:
Snow is very calm, cool, and collected in his own right he is very diligent and focused usually being very rational and never taking anything or anyone for granted. Snow is amongst many a great battle strategist knowing the corks and screws of the battlefield. Though he is more of a backseat mage he is proven time and time again that he is a worthy advisory. Snow is a man of few words with lasting impact or meaning he doesn't talk much and when he does he is strict and willing. On his off days he is very mellow and a bit more talkative a lot more than usual, but most are blessed with side one in a while. His intelligence and demeanor is that to cherish he is unlike many mage who are seen as childish. Snow has shown great instincts and intuition in battle. He is generally aware of everything in his presence and also able to see through most deceptions. He is a terror in battle when he's serious; all his energy is concentrated and focused on his target while his analytical mind takes over.

Snow seems anxious to get into battle, and is confident in his abilities. Snow is one of the most calculating, cunning, and analytical member of the Brotherhood. He is able to carefully look past his feelings and see the real situation at hand, which was demonstrated on more than one occasion. He is extremely perceptive, able to quickly recognize the patterns and mistakes that his opponents make, which gives him an edge. In battle, while his preference is to concoct strategies based on deduction of his opponents' fighting abilities and style, his natural battle instincts are also highly tuned. He is capable of slashing another person's head off in just an instant, relying only on impulse. He is also quite cruel, vindictive, and merciless, while retaining all of his intellectual capabilities. He enjoys toying with his enemies in a sadistic manner,

History:

Other*: Having have such expertise in Ice magic his body naturally expels a cold aura that can be seen visibly as small ice crystals are seen radiating off his body, almost as he were a human snow globe, however this is only visible when he is naked.

Name: Jade Syun

Age: 27

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Nation: Air

Bending:
Sound Bending: Being an accomplished Air Bender or a master of sorts, Jade has discovered a branch of her main Affinity of air like the other three elements. Up until her studies each of the other elements has had branches of their affinity such as Ice, Metal, and Lightning. Challenging herself to find a branch for Air, Jade has created the art of Sound Bending. Using the longitudinal waves created by air she has been able to learn and control the use of sound bending. The main source of her Sound bending comes from her ability to access the natural phenomena known as Resonance. Still relatively new to her own bending Jade hasn’t mastered the full capabilities of her bending, but continues to fortify her research.

Height: 5’10

Weight: 130

Bio:
Jade’s history is a simple one, being born into the Air nomad temple she became a natural at air bending. At a young age she was ahead of her time, surpassing the students of her age and a few years above her even. The Air Nomads grew found of Jade for she was bright, charismatic, and kind hearted. She was everything the Air Temple stood for and more. When she came of age, Jade blossomed into a beautiful flower of the Air Temple and diligently worked alongside with the older Air Nomads. Jade due to her peaceful kind nature was able to get along with everyone at the temple which imparted her to pursue her quest in creating Sound bending. Being the most spiritual out of the four elements allowed her to reform her new type of bending much easier than if she were a fire bender of the sorts. Determined to further her progress, Jade humbly left the Air Temple with her flying bison, Drogo, to be the first Air bender to create a new branch of the affinity.
Name: Hotaru
Age: 31
Gender: Male
Appearance:

Place of Birth: Ba Sing Se
Gang: Forsaken Marytr
Element: Earth
Powers:
Among having mastered all of the four elements as expected by the Avatar, Hotaru is a master of the earth bending style as he was born as such. His powers extend from normal earth bending to metal bending and one of the most exciting abilities is the use of Seismic sense. Beyond the four elements he is able to spirit bend and use all four elements at the same time in the Avatar state.
Strengths: Being the Avatar
Weaknesses: Speed, Open feet
Weapons/Items: None
History:
Hotaru history is easily explained through the annals of history; each bender is set on a path of peace and prosperity and can be reunited with their past lives once they have mastered their spiritual side. After the death of Avatar Ryuk the avatar was reborn in the season of spring as all Earth Avatar’s do. At a young age he was born into a healthy rich family without the slightest hint that he was the avatar to be. Unlike most rich earth benders that lived in Ba Sing se Hotaru was never a child who wanted everyone to do his bidding, Hotaru was an adventuress boy who always wanted to pry himself from his parent’s grasp and run around the city. However his parents had a firm belief in keeping Hotaru locked in the mansion to learn proper etiquette and take over their business, for bending was too barbaric for their liking. Men and women would kill to be raised in Hotaru’s family being fed with a silver spoon, but Hotaru wasn’t a fan of any of it, he never liked anyone doing anything for him for free or under command.

He never got along with any of the other rich boys for they were all snobby and so vain that it disgusted to be associated with them. They would constantly squander Hotaru for not being as proper as them and always calling him a savage that had a useless family that was a bitch to the royal families. Hotaru couldn’t take this anymore so Hotaru finally snapped and lashed out in anger, but not with his fists, large earth rifts jetted out of the ground and toppled the boys leaving them bruised and crying. Afraid of Hotaru they all ran while branding him a monster or a freak. But that’s when Hotaru became the happiest. While this had happened one of the Professors at the school had been watching for he too was an earth bender but in disguise as to not bury his name just as Hotaru had done. For now he would simply keep an eye on Hotaru and make sure he was safe for he wanted to study him more. The news was kept under wraps from the help of the professor and the boys would no longer mess with Hotaru while in his presence, not that they could anyways.

Completely oblivious to the actions by others that kept him safe Hotaru lived his happy life outside his golden family halls. Rebelling against his parents Hotaru would always sneak out of his mansion and go to the lower markets of Ba Sing Se where he was tantalized more by the way poverty had no effect on the people than the history of the wallpaper in his room. The markets became his sanctuary, his home away from home, why? Because the markets were what he truly wanted. It was freedom, freedom to do as you wish, and the freedom to be happy. Even if happiness costed them to be poor and have less commodities than the rich; being generally known by the city as royalty Hotaru would hide his identity by one of his favorite activities, getting dirty. His scruffy black hair covered his face and he ditched his fine silk clothing for ragged torn hand me downs from around the market. Here hotaru was free to practice his bending for it was famous down in the markets; no it was a way of life and economy. And that is when Hotaru first met his first friend, Kato.

Kato was a wild boy just as Hotaru was, but he was less privileged. Kato was the most gullible child Hotaru ever met and he was unable to read or write or do anything Hotaru could besides earth bend and cook. And when he earth bended he put Hotaru to shame. The two quickly became inseparable friends who constantly caused trouble in the markets and played for what seemed like ages. They quickly became best friends and it seemed like Kato was like a dog, he would fight and protect Hotaru no matter what for he trusted him and in his eyes Hotaru really could do no wrong. And so quickly enough their relationship grew and Hotaru began to learn earhtbending from his friend, but quickly excelled because unannounced to him he was the avatar. When his family finally caught wind that he had been hanging down by the markets and constantly came home late and dirty they punished Hotaru by banning him to only his room and school. Angry and conflicted that he couldn’t see Kato, hotaru blamed himself and grew paranoid of what Kato would think of him if he didn’t show for more than a week.

Would they cease to be friends? Would he put the whole blame on Hotaru? Would he even remember him? The thoughts raced through his brain and he couldn’t control them anymore, but they just kept building up inside him. One day at school without the presence of the Professor, Hotaru had been alone after studies when a group of kids had surrounded him with their leader. A boy by the name of Rohan decided it was time Hotaru paid up for his ‘strangeness’ and so they bullied him day after day and Hotaru took it because he thought it was what he deserved for leaving Kato behind, even if his parents were the one to lock him away. And then finally Hotaru blew up like a nuclear bomb, Hotaru’s eye’s flared white and the earth around him flew up in blocks like it was nothing. The Professor was in the process of stopping Hotaru until he saw him in the avatar state, dumbfounded and in shock his body wouldn’t move only his eyes followed Hotaru.

The blocks smashed each of the kids into the walls behind them, and finally Rohan was the only boy who stood in his way. Scared, crying, and frozen in fear Rohan begged for forgiveness, but Hotaru wasn’t so forgiving. And so Hotaru raised his hand ready to impale Rohan with an earth spear, but was quickly brought back to his normal state when Professor Otaku commanded him to stop. Looking at his surroundings Hotaru began to cry from the mix of Kato and what he had done to the other boys, it wasn’t his fault or was it? ”What am I?” and Otaku simply stuck out his hand and in a delicate voice whispered ”You’re the Avatar.” and all at once the sobbing stopped. And from then on Otaku had trained him in earth bending. Otaku before he was a professor was the head of the Dai Li during the Flame War and still technically was, but used his job as the Professor as a cover for his actions to protect the heritage and culture of Ba Sing Se. So naturally Otaku became his first master and taught him everything he could, and by the time Hotaru was 10 he was able to perform the early methods of Metal bending and seismic sensing.

While he was under Otaku’s instruction he was able to go freely to visit Kato and restart their friendship. And that they did, but Kato never resented Hotaru for leaving him because he knew the first time he met Hotaru that he was part of the royal families. Shocked and confused Hotaru was speechless, but after their therapy session everything else was history. While he trained with Otaku, Otaku taught Hotaru of the past avatar and his role in history and the war, Hotaru was stupefied by how naïve the avatar could be, but also grew a nasty hatred towards the fire nation for using their bending in such a way. Little did he know while he was playing with Kato the other boys and Rohan had been watching him secretly and decided to cast their revenge on Hotaru by paying bender mercenaries to ambush and attack Kato. And so they did, and one practice Kato had entered the training grounds, wounded and lacking breathe he rolled into Hotaru’s arms. Fresh streams poured down Hotaru’s face as he asked who had done this crime against him, but only one sentence left his weak voice before a smile cascaded his face. Benders, but thank you for all you’ve done for me Hotaru.

Hotaru became depressed and decided after Kato’s death that he would become the Avatar everyone wanted, but not the one everyone needed. Hotaru didn’t want to become the avatar for the simple fact he’d have to use the curse that got the previous Avatar killed and his best friend killed. However he did make a promise to Kato that he would create a world that he and Kato were equal so he couldn’t deny his duties as the avatar. So after training with master Otaku he left and went to seek a firebender master and that he did, it was easy to find Fire benders in the Fire nation, but this fire bender wasn’t a war hero from the time of Ryuk he was a simple man who had worked in the technology industry trying to create new ways to incorporate machinery with bending. Master Ryoshi was a very skilled and powerful fire bender who even started to incorporate early designs of lightning bending into his work. Lightning was destructive yet beautiful to Hotaru it was the art of destruction and life along with fire. So months passed and Hotaru’s training in the use of fire had quickly grown rapidly to the point he was ready to learn lightning bending, but he did not want to use the lethal bending he wanted to learn how to redirect it if the situation ever called for it.

But during one of his session’s Ryoshi wasn’t there and nowhere to be found, so Hotaru decided to go to his assembly line and open to find him in his office. And so subtly enough Hotaru snuck in to surprise his master only to find him in a dark room lit by candles with other benders. However these weren’t normal benders these were mercenaries surrounded by Ryoshi with a map and a slip of money designating where there next attack would be. On the walls around them were pictures of targets they once and currently had, either with a red x through them to signify the deed was done or a blank slate which was their latest projects. And that’s when Hotaru saw Kato’s picture with a bright red X through his grinning face. In a blinding rage the one he had felt those years ago when he was being bullied in the court yard had suddenly emerged. Fire lit the room a blaze with a mixture of fire and earth until he systematically took out each of the mercenaries. Now Hotaru and Ryoshi stood there circling around the room adjusting themselves for an attack. And then they spoke, Hotaru simply asking why, and Ryoshi simply telling him money was money.

And in a split second a crackle of Lightning left the fingertips of Ryoshi, and entered the body of Hotaru, but only to be redirected out of him into Ryoshi’s body. And in the final seconds of Ryoshi’s life he looked up to Hotaru and thanked him for being his disciple and how proud he was to teach the Avatar. Why was the world so cruel? Hotaru had been placed in the same position he had been two years ago. After the burial Hotaru continued his path to become the avatar and left for the Air Temples to learn his hardest feat, Air bending. The Air Nomads were the most peaceful people he had encountered maybe it’s because they were so cut off from the world and didn’t dabble in global affairs. It was the first time Hotaru wanted to live freely again, the people were humorous and treated him like family; even if he wasn’t the Avatar they would have welcomed him into their family. Hotaru became deeply enriched with peace and his spiritual side. During his time with the Nomads he was able to communicate with his past lives and learn the art of Chi bending. However Hotaru became obsessed with talking to Ryuk and talking of the War that wiped him out years ago. And as his air bending training came to an end Ryuk began to fill Hotaru’s mind with pounding thoughts of revenge sending him nightmares every night of Ryuk death in repeat.

Hotaru sought out the water tribe for he heard the waterbenders had special healing powers that could cure any ailment. And he needed dot get Ryuk’s voice and his nightmares out of his head before he would turn insane. So when he got to the Water Tribes the women took care of him and the water actually worked getting rid of his nightmares and helping him seek out a water bending master. Hotaru had grown into a large 18 year old man by the time he sought out his Master Ermac who had been one of the most powerful Benders in the water tribe. He had heard that he taught another prodigy from the Water tribe named Kadak how to water and Ice bend. Excited to learn ice bending Hotaru quickly involved himself with Master Ermac and began to learn waterbending, but he was however unable to learn how to correctly form ice or even use it. Saddened that he couldn’t use ice or healing water Ermac decided to take Hotaru to his own home and teach him the dangerous art of Blood bending from a scroll he had been passed down from his father and his father before him. Hotaru thought that such bending didn’t exist that it should be illegal to control someone else’s body.

But unfortunately for him Ryuk’s voice came back to him even greater now and pressured him into learning blood bending. And with each passing moon Hotaru’s blood bending grew stronger and stronger until he was adept as Ermac was. And regretfully one day the nightmares had become so intense that Hotaru couldn’t bear to move without crippling agony and bursting out in a hyperventilating sweat. And so in the middle of the night on a full moon he went to the healing benders an asked desperately for help, and tried as they might they couldn’t seem to penetrate his mind. The pain got so intense Hotaru lost his mind and unwillingly blood bended the water tribe members around him until they all bent to his will and suffered a painful agonizing death. Eventually Hotaru collapsed from the pain and awoke the next day to see ermac grabbing Hotaru by the shoulder and throwing him into the frozen ocean below him. While he fell Hotaru awoke into his Avatar state and attacked Ermac placing his thumb on his head taking away his blood bending forever.

When he left the village he attempted to severe the binds he had to his spiritual side, but the spiritual force was too much for him and Avatar Ryuk invaded Hotaru’s being taking over his body and partially his mind trapping the real Hotaru inside a cage in a corner of his mind. Ryuk finally free from his prison felt alive once more in the perfect host known as Hotaru. From that day forward Ryuk used the identity of Hotaru to enact his revenge from his former life and sink the bending world into a world of chaos and genocide starting with the fire nation. And so the Eradication Period started first with the destruction of the Fire nation until one by one each nation was destroyed under Ryuk/Hotaru’s rule. After his reign of tyranny each of the nations settled near omashu when Ryuk/Hotaru set up the slum known as the Five Points where the first ever organized crime syndicates would be created. Prostitution, Dirty Cops, and Murder rose in an uproar and swept the bending world slowly killing itself in the process.

Name: Sagara Hajime
Alias/Nickname/s: Surgeon of Death
Gender: Male
True Age: 2459
Appearance Age: ??
Race: Shinigami
Rank: Elite Captain
Division: 4th
History:
And so begins the story of how Sagara came to be. Before Sagara was born his parents had been citizen of a small city in japan that mostly no one knew of since it was such a small city. The city was relatively lively since everyone knew each other on a first and last name basis from the small population, the city wasn’t known for much apart from its lively economy, which was the only thing that kept the city afloat beyond the control of the government. Now Sagara's parents had both worked with the economy and had both grown to be very wealthy, their names were weighted heavy in the city for their outstanding funds. At the time they didn't know either one existed since they worked in two different types of work. His father being in charge of imports and exports, while his mother was in charge of financing the revenue and expenses of each major company. With such jobs that needed the utmost dedication and most of their time, it seemed the two didn't have time to burden themselves by going out and having friends. Their jobs were to demanding that the little time they had off they had spent sleeping preparing their bodies for the next day.

Well, fortunately for them they had both moved to Karakura Town for separate actions by their companies and they became familiar with Karakura Town and its bustling erratic movement, it seemed like the city always had something important to do. During a festival in Karakura Town everyone that was anyone was invited since it took up the streets and bar’s everywhere became packed along with restaurants. Awkwardly enough Sagara's parents had met at one of these bars in the busy Karakura Town streets, they had gone with separate friends, but at the end of the night had ended up leaving together. What drew them together were each other’s personal characteristics. His dad had serene silver eyes that captured the light in a way it captivated people who looked into them. And his mother had lush flawless skin with beautiful auburn hair and a smile you couldn't say no to. Both had been passing glares to each other the whole night until his father finally mustered up the courage to have finally asked her on a date.

The two kicked it off that night they painted the city red, celebrating, eating, and sharing laughs with one another. It was almost too good to be true, how in just one night they could find such a paradise that people only dreamed about. Now, fast forwarding a couple of years, the two finally settled down after his father asking her to move in with him, even though it wasn't the big question his mother had hoped for (marriage) she was still glad that they had took their relationship one step closer to that of marriage. They still had been working for the businesses they had started off as, but now they had been with their companies so long they gained benefits that would cover their own expenses and medical needs. By now Sagara's father popped the big question asking his mother to be with him forever. In tears she smiled and said yes making it the happiest days in both of their lives. The wedding had been gorgeous and over the top since they had the money to spend on it. Friends and family from all over the country came to see the two wed. Unfortunately during the time of the wedding a massive earthquake hit the surrounding area and unknowingly his two parents had consumed the nameless worm.

By now they had saved enough money they could consider early retirement, but his mother had other plans. Those plans later turned into young Sagara being born, yes finally after an odd number of years he was born into the Expanding world, thus his own story beings. Both of his parents had retired from their job yet they lived the luxurious life. Together they raised Sagara into a smart and caring little boy, though he wasn't the spoiled kind. Growing up was easy for Sagara as he was taught by his parents at a young age. They had taught him the basics that every child should and then they began giving him books to read without the pictures.

Years passed and now Sagara was able to speak fluently with great vocabulary and had excellent grammar he was about 11. For the next 10 years of his life he would begin to learn all there was to be known about science and medical studies. His parents had aged and now they were in there forties yet still lively. Sagara had took an interest in science and developed a knack for it, studying for hours upon hours when he got home, proud to present to his parents of what he learned in school that day. It was true his mind was more developed then the kids his age, but some say it was good genes, others called it good parenting, and most people just said he was a genius. They all took each compliment willingly and were embarrassed at how popular Sagara had gotten over the years. Sagara on his own was happy with his childhood and life he didn't have needs for games or being a ninja he wanted to just have more knowledge so he could carry on his family name and inherit his first son rights as successor to the family fortune.

Two years passed and now Sagara was 13 and had been overcome with an obsession with the human anatomy and what fragile beings humans were. This obsession became a permanent habit; instead of studying anything else he became infatuated with learning all about the human genome. The human body seemed complex, but at the same time it was so weak, it was unable to do such enormous feas as the animal kingdom could accomplish like a lizard’s regeneration or a cheetah’s speed. Even the human body’s immune system was feeble at best compared to a chimpanzee. And so Sagara spent all his time and energy into the research of the human anatomy until he mastered its knowledge. By now Sagara had finally begun to travel to public school instead of being taught at home since his parents wanted him to learn the meaning of having companions. During his school year the teacher’s and administrator had been playing around the idea of going on an out of school field trip. They would take a handful of students and take them out to camp in the countryside by the mountains so they could explore nature and the caves that had been made long before the buildings and steel that made Karakura Town. Sagara was excited to go and his parents gave him the permission to go on the trip with the rest of his classmates and his friends.

It seemed as though everything was going according to plan. The school was closed for the week, they had enough supplies to last them through the week, and the kids were filled with adventure. They took a bus out of the city to a desolate land where no skyscrapers or buildings were made and the weather was quite chilly. From the bus they began to hike led by the Administrator who had a map of the area around him. And simple enough there was a trail that led the through a forest and higher up into the mountains. Laughing and fun could be heard behind the Administrator as the teachers talked to the students and the students mingled with each other, but something began to puzzle the Administrator, he was lost. A quick glance, a turn of the map, a squint, he was indeed lost and his pride prevented him from asking for help since he arranged the entire thing.

Ignoring the fact he was lost he decided to take control of the expedition and follow his sense of direction and where he was headed originally. Everyone else was completely unaware of where they were going and when they asked the administrator if he knew where they were headed, he always gave a weary smile, and said yes. But aspirations began to grow shallow since they hadn’t made it to their camp and the sun began to set. Furthermore as he tried to calm them the kids grew weary as well and began to grow hungry and tired. Then things went from bad to worse when the sky began to fog up with dark grey clouds and the familiar sound of thunder struck the air. Rain began to downpour unto the group and the rest of the forest. Scared now they all began to panic before the administrator directed them to an open cave where they could rest in.

They rushed to the cave and poured in one by one until they were in a mass huddle. Wet, Scared, and tired they hung onto the teachers and waited out the storm. The administrator had begun to whisper to the other teachers telling them that indeed they were lost. Chattering filled the cave and despair steadily rose in each of the teachers while the administrator felt like a recluse. The thunder became louder and the lightning became more reoccurring until it rang just outside of the cave. And then finally the lightning struck at the cave and the rock and sediment above the cave crumbled and incased the opening into a rock prison. The children screamed and cried themselves to sleep until the next morning, very few streams of light poked through the creases in the rock. Time after time the teachers tried to break through the prison, but the more they tried the more rocks covered the entrance. Weeks dragged on without any contact to the outside world and it felt like no one was going to look for them now.

Slowly but surely they all began to lose their willpower, the food and supplies they had begun to shrink in size and the teachers began to sacrifice their portions to the kids so they could survive instead of going to sleep hungry. However as the supplies shrank in size the adults began to grow weak and had befallen into sickness from not eating and burning to much energy. Being the oldest and most knowledgeable on the human body and medicine Sagara looked after their supervisors, with limited supplies he tried the best he could to keep them alive, but was defeated when they had all died one by one; either from insanity or hunger and dehydration. Sagara never felt so alone and discarded, it was only him and the other children now and the isolation had begun to drive them mad.

Sagara and the rest of them had begun to lose their humanity and became animalistic, being the only one who kept his will, Sagara cut himself off from the rest of the boys and separated him from the rest. Yet the hunger kept swinging at him, his hope was quickly diminished when no one from the town had gone to retrieve them, maybe they would never come to get them, and how would they know where the cave was now that it was covered in rocks. That night Sagara had begun to fall asleep, he hadn't slept in days in fear something would happen to him, or he would miss his chance at rescue, little did he know he was making a big mistake. When he fell asleep the other kids formed around him, targeting Sagara because he was alone and weak. Crazed, starving for food, the children pounced on Sagara and held him down. Sagara immediately woke up in a panic, his eyes wide open as the fear and horror illuminated his eyes.

Sagara tugged and pulled yet no avail, he had tried screaming, but that wasn't working either. All Sagara could do was cry and hope they would stop, that's when he felt the teeth of one of his fellow classmates sink into his skin. The children grew barbaric and ravenous chomping away at his skin and muscle. Sagara tugged and pulled the pain surged through him he felt like he was dying slowly and there was no way out, he would soon pass out from blood loss, thinking to himself this was the last moments of his life, he then tugged for freedom trying to think of a solution out. He was running out of time the kids had already gotten to the bone which they began to break, they had been wanting the marrow from inside his bones, they had been starved for weeks and this was their first chance at something to eat, they were almost in a ritualistic manner devouring his arm and the rest of his body, with his blood riddled over their faces. Sagara thought fast realizing he should do just the same; Sagara chomped down on the hand that held his mouth exerting all the pressure he could. The boy holding him let go, now was his chance.

Sagara screamed, it was a blood curdling high pitched scream, he screamed so loud he nearly exhausted his oxygen supply. Hopefully his efforts wouldn't be in vain. Sagara had passed out from blood loss his tears the only thing covering his body. Oddly enough Sagara awoke the next day alive? Yes he was alive, but he was no longer in the cave. He had woken up in a rather strange lab he had never seen before. Sagara had shot straight up thinking he was in a nightmare, he touched his face, but there was something different his touch was cold. When Segara stretched out his arms he saw that both of his arms were riddled with stiches, up and down, scattered everywhere. His arms were covered in sitches all around and when he panicked he threw the blanket he had been covered with to the side, only to reveal his legs, feet, and upper torso were just engulfed in stiches. Almost on instinct Sagara threw his hands to his face and felt nothing, his sense of touch had been eliminated from the multitude of bites he suffered, his nerves were to damage to repair so they died and he lost one of his five natural senses. As he began to cry he rose up feeling extremely weak as he looked into the reflection of an iron fridge and saw his face has been scarred with stiches too.

Sagara yelled in anger and tragedy as he knocked over all the beakers and glass jars that were set on top of the desk. When suddenly his savior had rushed in and held Sagara, his name was Saito. After he had calmed down, Saito began to explain what happened to Sagara after he passed out. In a surprising turn of events, Saito a surgeon and alchemist had heard the savage noises and yells for help from the cave. When he ran over to investigate he destroyed the cave wall with an alchemic concoction and entered while he euthanize the other boys whose souls had been too far gone to save. Using some traditional medicine Saito kept Sagara alive just enough so he could operate him in his private lab where he awoke in. But why was he near the cave? Saito acknowledged his curiosity and confessed the he was an Alchemist looking for rare ingredients that only lived in the natural areas outside the town. Alchemy was considered magic in their times for it was an alternative to medicine and rumored to have the power to rival god, even so far as to say that alchemy can turn metals into gold. Sagara, still confused, soon grew attached to Saito, not only because he saved his life, but because of his passion for power and knowledge.

And so Sagara became Saito’s disciple and soon Sagara began to learn information he never knew existed, he learned new things about the human body and how to treat it better than most physicians could. And he grew especially excited when the taboo art of alchemy was explained to him, for the next few years Sagara would work his way to perfecting the art until he was able to master it that was until today. While Saito had gone out to find ingredients Sagara had created a secret side project hidden from Saito that was even taboo for him. The dangerous art of human modifications, Sagara read of heinous and destructive alchemy that would allow him to bend fire at will or allow him the strength of a bear and the regenerative properties of a starfish. But what he wanted was immortality and rebirth so his scarred body would be reborn into an immortal one. Having gathered the required materials Sagara began the ritual as he carefully followed the instructions, but what he didn’t know was this magic was never perfected. His avarice is what would be the means to an end, the alchemic sequence began, but what started out flawlessly ended horribly. The sequence began to go array and Sagara entered a stage of denial, but it was too late. The sequence had overreacted and the entire process had sparked an explosion with the chemicals.

The explosion erupted in front of Sagara’s face as the flames engulfed his body and consumed the lba round him creating several more explosions from the materials that were in the lab. And in a matter of minutes the entire lab had exploded leaving nothing but remnants of its past behind. When Saito had arrived it was already too late. And so in a fiery death Sagara laughed manically on his way to the other side. Arriving in Rukongai was his first experience being in the world of reishi and other natural phenomenon that took place in the shinigami world. Sagara immediately took this as a challenge and began to build his vault of knowledge of all that existed in this new world. However when he first arrived his body still bored the army of stiches on his body, but now his body was charcoal black from the burns that he inflicted upon himself. The burns seemed to never heal and the heat stayed with him as well, publically he was an atrocious monster so Sagara decided to cover up his mistakes and wrapped himself in a multitude of gauze and bandages until he became comfortable with his look. From then on Sagara built his knowledge until he joined the Gotei 13 as the 4th Divison Captain.

There Sagara fused his prior medical knowledge and alchemy with that of the new world with Reiatsu and Kido at his disposal. From then on Sagara became one of the oldest Shingami in the Gotei 13, second to the Captain Commander. Sagara is by far the most knowledgeable on health related matters in all of Soul Society. He is known to be highly proficient in conventional healing techniques as well as herbal healing. He also has the ability to heal more than just Shinigami, since he was once human too. His Kido has also become rather advanced in the art of spiritual energy and has created a battalion of his own Kido. His knowledge and mastery of healing Kidō are unrivaled within Soul Society. Sagara is well-versed in a variety of Kidō, able to easily use high-level Hadō and Bakudō spells without incantation. And now Sagara the crazy motherfucker that he is remains one of Soul Society’s most intellectual and dangerous beings.

Personality:
Sagara has no compassion or mercy for his enemies, though he never shows much regard for human life, at some points even letting on that he likes to kill and experiment whether or not his enemy is alive or not. He is rather morbid and arrogant. Nevertheless, none of these character flaws prevent him from being a superb investigator and fighter. He believes in peace and order, even in the society created by his former enemies. Anyone he considers to be corrupt or despotic, he targets for elimination. He expects those involved in the soul society army to carry out their duties without letting their personal feelings interfere. Sagara is calm and collected, not getting rattled by his opponents. He is quiet and contempt, as he does not speak often, but he does speak to everyone with a natural apathy as he gives everyone a state of neutrality until he better knows the person, he barely uses honorifics and when faced with advising people he grows a small vendetta. He noticeably dislikes opponents who are cowardly, instead preferring opponents who are brave enough to face him. He also seems to dislike opponents who are weaker than him, preferring to face opponents who possess either the same level of skill as him or are a bit stronger than him.
Sagara comes off as being very dark. Sagara claims to enjoy the relationship between victim and murderer, stating that before the murderer kills their victim the two share a level of intimacy which is too deep for words. He also views love as a sadomasochistic relationship, believing that lovers care deeply for each other and yet hurt each other whenever they are together. He rarely displays emotion, never seeming angry or sad, but when Sagara enters his Bankai Sagara seems to disregard his old personality and becomes swallowed by a blood thirsty unbalanced maniacal creature that has nothing but the determination for death. Other than that Sagara displays very high intelligence, in some ways giving him something of an evil genius persona and personifies the stereotype of the mad scientist. TO sum it all up Sagara is a coldblooded ruthless scientist.
Appearance:

Hello there, I was just browsing around and loved what I saw. Is there anyway I could make a request? Thank you.

There’s was something vexing about the appearance of the temple, almost as if it were too radiant to be true. The fact that the Naiads, the one group of navigators that had given them a second chance of life and led them here, and left them at the entrance was odd. Whatever the case was the temple was calling out to the group of ninja. Each would hear their own unique distorted voice that rang familiar to them. Whether it was a distant relative or a dead friend. Whether they felt it or not there was a slight ever so delicate pull on the water that surrounded the three ninja pulling them close the temple.

The group of ninja had made it quite far, further thank the expectations of whomever was watching surely or the proctor of the exam. Whatever was the case the ninja had suggested to explore the temple, well there was rather little else where they could go. Upon entering the palace they were greeted with a deceptive interior. Inside of the temple was an almost human like industrialized city but still outdoors, it seemed as the temple acted as a large cloaking dome that camouflaged anyone from discovering the whereabouts of their secret society.

The water was quite bright inside depicting the day time, statues of fish soldiers capable of holding trident like weapons lined the walkways of the lost city, up towards one building. The building was impossible to miss, it dwarfed the size of the surrounding builds by almost triple. The almost castle like structure sat on a bed of sand which had been encompassed by a massive opened oyster. On their way into the castle there lie larger pillars that kept the building structure, tattered with seaweed and a carpet leading to what seemed like a throne.

Once in the throne room they were greeted by a small battalion of mermen soldiers who sat at the feet of the massive throne behind them, and on that bed of pearls was the Queen of the underwater civilization, The Mermaid Goddess.

They had once thought they had witness unparalleled beauty when they were rescued by the Naiads, but that was no match of measure for the true queen in all of her exquisite allure. ”I’m glad you were able to make it here without injury or confusion. This is the Water Temple, I am the Queen of this domain and personally see everything that enters and exits these waters. We never have human dwelling quests before, or if we did, they weren’t allowed any memory of this place.” Her voice was silk and smooth cradling their ears with sweet murmurs. Although her candor would not be mistaken for weakness as she did carry an aura of swift justice. The queen while very prominent in appearance to most men was rather obscured by the pillar in the distance behind the throne. A small shrine had been erected and in the forefront was a large pillar that had ancient writing, but one world would stand familiar to the ninja, “Suijin” the water god, it was a pillar where the sea people went to pray and pay their tributes. However, the ninja would be more focused on the scroll that was embedded in the stone itself.

“Pray do tell me why you have all gathered here, hmm?” the queen reclaiming any attention that might have trailed off.

FIRE SCROLL

Nu Suzaku, Keeper of the Light of Man

The group of ninja were correct in assuming that the white flames had siphoned chakra out of the user, but that was only a half truth. The self-proclaimed leader took to action in a mere seconds, it seemed as if they had grown tired of Suzaku’s mouth and the vague test pronounced before them. The first mistake was assuming that the flame could only siphon the chakra of clones and the user alike. The flames fed on all forms of chakra. The earth prison constructed by the female ninja was all for naught as the flames consumed the earth which soon disappeared and aided in growing the flames of the scroll. The power and range of the flames were becoming dangerous.

If Sakana played close enough attention with every meter he took getting closer to the scroll the larger the flames would get and the greater the reach the scrolls cloaks would get, not only with his approach, but he would have to factor in if this was the case with just one person or multiple people. The pillar was crumbling and receding into the flames while the ninja seemed to summon an axolotl which spat water onto his hands. This would help in any case where it was normal fire that fed on oxygen, but the flames of men feasted on something else so water was not an easily apparent weakness. While he did take an extra precaution of wearing gloves, they would prove to be an ill attempt at stoking the flames emanating from the scroll.

There was no retaliation from the scroll in the momentary grasp of the young ninja. What the boy figured would ignite his gloves and water did not take. Instead the fire ignited the chakra system within the boy. This Hiden is a passive cloak of energy that takes the form of a transparent aura that is always surrounding the user even if it's not always visible. When Nu exerts his energy it takes on the appearance of translucent blue-green flames whose opacity thickens or lessens based on how much energy Nu is putting out at any given time. The more energy and is exerting, the brighter and more opaque the cloak becomes. While it may take on the appearance of flames, it is not in fact fire at all nor does it have any affiliation to Fire Release, however the bane of its existence is Amaterasu.

The nature of this energy cloak is simple. The flames consume anything made out of energy and consume it, assimilating it into the cloak. The flames purify all energy it comes into contact with, nullifying any negative effects it may have on Nu himself. To give you an example, someone uses the fireball technique. Nu exerts his own chakra into the cloak causing it to grow and manifests a wall of Suzaku flame out of the cloak. The wall of Suzaku flame come in contact with the fireball and consumes it, creating more Suzaku flame from the chakra the fireball was made out of. Totally awesome right?

With the ignition of the boy’s chakra, he had the choice of letting go or to continue his grip on the scroll.

Heels could be clicking on the marble floor. Clack, Clack, Clack. Namine had enough of waiting around to make her presence known to all of those that waited behind the closed doors of the spectators room. Cloaking her presence, Namine had been invisible to any ninja who tried to perceive her location. The entire time that Jaakuna had been inside using his clone she could feel his presence, there was no hiding from here she would never forget the signature chakra of their fellow fallen Sanin. Lie after lie was woven in a basket that he prepositioned for Ginsho, his long standing friend and for what? There was something different about Aka, he was hiding something and somehow he was affiliated with the outside forces exuding the same dark and murderous intent around the testing grounds, Ginsho had to know before anything got out of hand.

Unfortunately for her, before she could expose that weasel or fox, he had vanished, Ginsho’s kindness and empathy was too much of a burden for Jaakuna to handle. A little provoked and irked by his actions Namine slammed the doors open entering the room. Immediately the lower ninja in the room bowed in respect of the only female Sanin of the village. Her perfectly shaded red hair flowed in the wind and delicately bounced as it rested on her perfectly broad and soft shoulders. One might think she was flaunting her hair from its immerse beauty, then of course they would be making the right estimation. Not only was her perfect hair distracting, but she was quite the ample woman, her breasts were rather large and prominent despite her best efforts to hide them under layers of bandages. She was quite the seductress physically, while being an empathic mute on the inside. Her body challenged that of her words.

Namine’s body was wrapped in elegant purple silk clothing, hugging the sides of her arms as it drifted down creating a v shape around the cleavage of her breasts. It was met with a complimentary black sash that wrapped around her waist. The purple silk continued down her legs leaving a slit big enough for her legs to move freely. Underneath she wore traditional black leggings allowing her versatility and movement even in combat. Lastly were her elegant black laced heels that hugged her feet comfortable and showed off her midnight purple nail polish on her toenails. She furiously walked towards Ginsho and smacked the back of his head, “You fool how could you not tell that was our friend Jaakuna Aka. You’ve grown weak in your old age.” Namine then glared at the Tsuchikage feeling there was another agenda he had in mind. “Always nice to see you Kazayatsu-san, I’m sorry this oaf still calls you by that ugly name. Is that a kunai in your sleeve or are you just happy to see me?” bowing in respect to her peer, before turning to bow for Yogensha. “Are these men bothering you my dear? We should catch up and have a woman’s night out, get away from this world of men.” Namine said with a coy and playful smile to the beautiful Amekage.
Shizuka Ichimi

Konohagakure | Chūnin | Breezy-nin

TIME: Present Day - Morning | LOCATION: Earth Challenge Room | INTERACTION: @LadyinInk@Altered Tundra@Reflection

It was rather clear that Shizuka had ruffled some feather or in this case lavender ends within the blind beauty. Strange how Shizuka was picking up on social cues for once in his life, however it seemed he was still at the immature infant stage of understanding right now. Hopefully his teammates and the blind girl could help him learn faster. He did however feel quite spiteful since the girl had taken up his challenge of a friendly spar the exams. Feeling her hair fall over and her tongue stuck out, shizuka sneakily put one hand under his opposite armpit with just his index finger sticking out. With a careful flick he let out a gust of air that would blow her wildly across her face and perhaps maybe cause some frizzing. Shizuka turned around and lowered his one eyelid while he stuck his tongue out at her imitating her sassy pose.

Without much delay the team continued onward down the dark tenebrous hallway, basically blind in vision like someone he knew, but with his passive wind sense he could still coordinate around himself. What felt like a few feet eventually led them from the corridor into an incandescent room illuminated far prettier than the runes had provided in trials before. Shizuka was quite impressed upon stumbling into the room. Quite unhappy at what his sight brought him, another lame ass golem statue, but this time it was far more distinct in appearance. To be honest Shizuka was growing rather bored with these challenges, he wanted to be tested with something exciting, and not with games his dad taught him to overcome using some deeper thinking, whatever that meant.

The air around his body fluctuated there was a disturbance in the force, he could feel a sharp magnetic field being projected from the abdomen of the strange statue almost as if it were alive. One thing Shizuka did notice was the constant appearance of the runes ever since the entrance of the cave, perhaps they would be of some use eventually or were just some stupid dainty decorations to keep the morale of miners high. Being drawn to the set of machines that centered around the statue, Shizuka decided to approach the mechanism behind the throne of the golem while his teammates began to discuss what they had uncovered. Ignoring the interpretation completely, on a whim Shizuka inserted his arm into the slot provided.

“Hmm, oh right I’m windseeker. Windseeker to Thunder God, over. It seems like I found something, over.” Shizuka pointing to his arm that was now stuck in the machine behind the throne. Shizuka was waiting for the disapproving glances he would receive from Cloudy Eyes and Kurin, they did seem to care about him however little it was. “Stick boy is right, I think this is dumb and we should just stick our hands in. Except Cloud eyes she’s a nice lady so we should leave her out of this, right Mr. President?” the truth was Shizuka did seem to have a weakness for women, it was something his mother ingrained in him as a youth.

It seemed their attempts were at an end and the failure of their exam would soon come full circle for the team of very willing and quick witted shinobi. Their means of surviving through jutsu had been washed away, literally and there was left was to swim to their demise without having the semblance of confidence that their guess was anything but that. Their breath would only hold in their lungs for a few minutes, however Koma had been a more experienced diver. Nevertheless the more they swam the heavier it was to cut through the water, the properties slowly changed as they pressed on, it almost seemed as if they made no progress and the body of water had been stretched. Minutes were passing the lactic acid was starting to build up in their muscles, screaming in pain, their lungs would soon start to give out as did their consciousness. This was the tragic end to our heroes’ tale as they all but stopped paddling and soon started to drift towards the light, all of them except Koma as her quick activation of her eyes would catch something off into the distance.

Suddenly as their vision faded into black they would feel a strange delicate presences ushering them away, those who had enough will power to stay semi sentient could only make out blurred outlines of what seemed like female humans. A soft brush could be felt on each sides of their throats, springing the growth of gills on the ninja’s necks. Like the miracle of birth life was ushered back into the bodies of the three shinobi. The gills were working overtime as their bodies began to regulate the water into oxygen growing accustomed to the use of their new breathing apparatuses rather quickly. A large audible gasp was heard in unison by the group. With their vision and bearings returning they would quickly be able to see the figures that were once thought as mirages or their final moments manifesting into view.

They were surrounded by several beautiful naiads otherwise known as water nymphs. Spirits of the water, Demi Gods sworn to protect the vast seas and its inhabitants. Gorgeous female spirits that glided through water as if were an ancient dance and song, flawless. The Naiads had taken a specific liking to Koma as they were famous for being protectors of young maidens as they played around her and laughed feverishly in unison. They did not however flock to Bumu for they could tell what it truly was, although they did not abandon him or Kaba. There was a slight god like pitch that echoed behind their normal language. Without speaking the language of humans they simply used touch. Grabbing the hands of the ninjas, several hands in koma’s case, they leaded them down the rabbit hole into the governing darkness below. They sliced through water like bullets with no resistance, their movement’s fluid like the waters they had almost drowned in.

They had been swimming for what felt like hours as they sprouted webbings between their fingers and toes and the space between their chest and armpits. By now they would have gotten used to breathing and speaking underwater. Koma’s eyes would be the first to fall on the exquisite sight that had befallen her.

Once they entered the darkest nether region of what seemed like the depths of the water, they were shown a divine light. Colorful fluorescent fish swam by the faces of each of the ninja as a resonant awe would be heard. Mermaids and Mermen were seen swimming elegantly by, stuff only spoken of in legends. Walls made of coral and rock protected the illustrious water palace with holes large enough for its residents to commute from in and out. Jelly fish swam showing off their brilliant light as they were the main source of luminescence for this forgotten world. The naiads pointed at the entrance before letting go and swimming off into the distanced leaving the travelers to collect as a group and decide whether or not to enter the Water domain. What was inside? Was there a King or a Queen? Was it even safe?
