As the door had begun to move open, Aerith had dropped the two smaller chairs just a tiny bit in front of her and to the side so she could better move the door. As it were, even these two smaller children's chairs would bee a tad bulky to carry through a doorway one-armed. Yet as the girl grabbed a chair and looked ahead...she momentarily froze. The tension she got from seeing Hiro standing there struck a chord....felt like it has been back in Suttling's Basin, that poorer area where they had been....ah. The memories of before rushed back in again, her body kicking into an adrenaline-fueled state in a heartbeat. Perhaps it was the trauma that was leaving her too sensitive to things, or perhaps it was her mind jumping to a conclusion too fast without thinking. Regardless, as the small-statured assassin without warning leapt in with a shoulder-check Aerith was at least in a fight-or-flight response at the time.

Her shoulder being clipped, Aerith opened her mouth wide to let out the first bit of a loud, audible scream as she chair she had picked up was dropped to the ground in front of her as her body was forced to turn. Only those in the house would really hear the bit of a scream, as soon the 6 inches of cold-cutting steel had already cut into her stomach as she was pushed to the floor. But even as the hand tried to cover her mouth and the poison began to take effect, Aerith responded with an adrenaline-fueled struggle in return. Using what added strength that hormone her body had imbibed (even temporarily) itself with, she bit the Assassin's hand as hard as she could as hormone and the trauma of her first death roiled hot in her mind.

Strength of will pushed the weakening body as much as possible in this case, her jaw like an iron vice-grip seeking to make her assailant pay, even as Aerith's arms attempted to grab the assailant's neck out of haste to try to throttle them. Yet the pain from whatever was on that knife burned in her body, searing like white hot iron in her veins, unimaginably so if she hadn't already had the more gruesome and intensely vivid memories of gruesomely dying before. The sheer fact it reminded Aerith of that first "death" only seemed to steel her and her actions even more, even though just on an instinctual and physical level. This being said it was a sensation that would still stand out no matter what, even in her adrenaline-fueled and swiftly being poisoned state.

This all being noted, she would perhaps only last a brief time on her own in all of this between the poison and trained assassin sitting on her, her survival instincts perhaps being the one thing keeping her at least attempting to fight back for the moment.

@Crimmy Sent you more messages in the PM related to my Ability idea. ;)

"Mid Vur Shan!"

It didn't take a genius to figure out how this situation had devolved, as the dragon-descended girl hadn't doubted it for a second. Bunch of ugly dangerous prison brutes, at least 20 to take on, didn't seem diplomacy had been an option for them. This being said, the shout she had just used was a buff for her allies- a brief but strong enchantment on their weapons. It would allow them to attack more quickly using their weapons, being a limited speed buff for attacking as it were. Diana herself hefted up her crossbow, finally ready for general use by the time they had gotten down here, making use of the buff she had just unleashed as she took three rapid but aimed shots at the head last of the "trio".

Then after this she might apologize for accidentally burning Macy and Hawke a bit. If they got out of this alive, at least. Then again she had managed to help clear the way finally with that attack. Albeit this prison was turning out to be a dangerous place to actually apply her coveted magical prowess in. Ugh. But she was making do so far, and that would hopefully be good enough for the time being. She had a lot more spells to use at least, and at least not all of them were liable to blast the top part of this prison to kingdom come.

Alien Invasion

Leo's transmission caught Sanaki as she had been reaching for another tome to assist in the fight, a bit before she heard Ennis speak from behind a nearby car. The small empress' brows furrowed, before she finally pulled out her next tome the rest of the way. She had her way with many of these vile creatures of....whatever sort they came from. Surely nothing the goddess had made, that was definitely for sure. Out from her robes emerged then a green-covered tome, binding ornate and rather curious to the eye. Sanaki opened it in her hands, some wind whipping about as its pages flipped to a certain spot.

Yes, this would do nicely.

"Tornado!"

As the purple-haired empress called out the name of the tome aloud, its pages glowed with green light as its power was unleashed. Around one of the larger aliens among the many "goons" they were slaying, a great tornado erupted around him seemingly out of nowhere. Clouds seemed to be drawn near, thickening up in the sky above the spell as it tore at the target with unrelenting might. Peculiarly, some of the other nearby goons seemed to struggle a bit around it, before being sucked into it as it swirled and went off. Anyone near the spell otherwise would have to struggle to not be sucked in as well, as it were. However, the terrain itself seemed unaffected at all by the spell proper, save for some cars beginning to move as the tornado's strong winds picked up speeds.

By the time a distinct number of goons were sucked in nearby to it, the vortex seemed to condense inwards, its mighty power smashing all within as it finally collapsed in with a great and thunderous 'CRASH' that seemed to shake the pavement underfoot a bit.

Looking back to where she had heard Ennis, Sanaki then spoke aloud, her voice carrying over towards the intended target rather well even amidst the current chaos. Likewise any allies nearby could perhaps hear her words as well.

"Something grabbed the boy and disappeared! I got a glimpse of....something he apparently transmitted over, like tentacles of metal or such."
@Crimmy Side note, would the OC's be able ot run into canon's such as Misaka? Er, within limits since the magic is kinda a no go here.

Because the chance (even if low or you having to make enough trouble for it) to run into such people could be a fun thing, yes. :3

The green-eyed girl nearly smiled as Fritzi praised her use of magic, albeit held in the feeling of minor excitement instead to exert for a more calming, humble smile at the appreciation physically. But practice? Perhaps that would be the best thing if she was to get any better at this. Or perhaps, er, more survivable at this at least. At least if they died again and actually....ah. The thought sent a chill up the girl's spine as she pondered it. Her mind chased it away like a horrid taboo, with the smallest possible vestiges of cold sweat forming at her hairline. No, there was no way she was going to be bending over for that. Not again. Please, for the love of whomever had brought her here, of whatever gods existed in this world, not again....even the slightest recollection of that almost sent her into a panic internally.

Breathing a couple of times to herself to try to avoid the visage of panic again, Aerith looked over as the other two males as they attempted to use magic as well. These things they could do were....well, interesting to say the least. She wondered if anything like was possible for her....cloud of apparently dark spores aside. Letting out a small, restrained sigh in some attempt to vent the minor inkling of frustration, Aerith began to get to work instantly as Fritzi finally left them all to their business. Though watching Hiro make his way towards the door with a chair, Aerith looked back at a few of the other ones before glancing to Alistair.

"I'll help Hiro with a couple of chairs, at least the smaller ones. If you can fill me one of the other buckets, will start scrubbing as soon as i get back in! Be right back!" she said, her voice channeling a bit of positivity as she went over to pick up a could of the smaller chair in the house nearby.

Had these been for any children, perhaps? Aerith wondered so as she hefted them up a bit onto one arm, her stamina and strength not slacking such as to not be able to stuff like this. She had been an avid swimmer, after all, good stamina and some strength having been built up at least for her over time with that. However, after these she'd see if a stool or two was possible to get out before moving on with things.

Walking carefully over to the door, Aerith raised an eyebrow at how it was closed. Reaching out with her right arm, the dark-haired girl attempted to open it so she could come outside as well to drop off a couple of the smaller chairs. It at least would maybe (in Aerith's mind) help Hiro that much faster get to assisting them in cleaning other bits of the house otherwise, considering his height and all.
