Hey 16 is the most fantasy, final fantasy has been in years rather than steampunk. It's called final fantasy not steampunk fantasy.

We can all agree that 12 sucked ass. Vaan is a stupid protagonist that I wanted so badly to die.

The best final fantasy is 6 and I will die on that hill. I will die on that hill gladly and happily.

Wormwood
Interacting with:
Squig, and Ingrid @OwO
Location: The river by Nibby's Cottage || Action: N/A || Emotion: N/A

Poor, poor Wormwood's heart practically leapt form his chest, whistling sputtered and burbled as he became thoroughly soaked by Ingrid falling in after her rod.

Much to Squigs dismay his friend tipped backwards and tumbled into the shallow waters face first though with less oomph than the clumsy hooman only making a soft bloop sound like a droplet of water in a runoff barrel "HURGLEBURGLEBURGLEB-" sweet stupid Wormwood momentarily forgot he could not speak or exclaim his dismay while planted face first in the water after a moment raising his head to let spit out a stream of water folkowed by much coughing and sputtering all the while Squigs sat on Wormwood's back. Once the lizard stood, his ragged clothes now even more ragged and more wet though it didn't stop him from scrambling towards a fish flopping about almost forgetting entirely that a hooman was basically in sight of him.

"Mmm, fish yummy. Yay for splash-" almost like he was finally comprehending what happened Wormwood stared at Ingrid rising from the water with wide eyes and mouth bulging with river water and fish loudly gulping both as he locked eyes with her.
@Mae I see you lurking at my profile! I shall lurk you back, and yes I will post soon enough. πŸ˜‚
Mayhaps
What WotC did was pretty scummy but still the guy definitely was breaking the law being in possession of something nobody was supposed to have yet.

I still hate WotC, they made the poor guys wife cry.

Tink, ting, tink, ting... Steam wafted up from the plain tea cup, as Benedict shakily stirred the drink with a dull spoon. His glasses lightly clattered against the table as he removed them to massage his septum, Benedict looked tired and his clothes were a mess.

"More politics, more internal affairs." sighing while unbuttoning the ragged vest he wore over his shirt that looked no worse for wear than it had been after slogging through the disgusting waterways earlier that day "It is highly out of order for...Well for the OSF to act independently, it is very out of place from what I know. They are not known to answer to anyone other than Konoe, acting like they did would almost be sedition at the highest order. The question is why?" leaning back in his chair the former Turk gingerly sipped his tea, having rolled up the sleeves of his shirt and loosening his tie.

Highly irregular indeed for an organization that answered to Konoe himself would have one of it's garrisons be under such an irregular command structure, they must be operating behind the back of the government but to what extent and reasons for it? There was no easy answer.

Despite looking like a horse tossed him off the saddle and rolled him down a hill into a ditch, the merchant was no worse for wear than he had been. Being treated like royalty wasn't something he really cared for but a round of beer with the men and women he worked with was an idea Partitio could get on-board with.

"You got yerself a deal there partner," there weren't no better way to celebrate than having a drink with folk, and boy howdy Partitio loved to have a good rowe with folk over a drink "Fraid' you ain't paying though, drinks will be on me..." the merchant smiling reached into the pockets of his overcoat, only to frown embarrassingly scratching his forehead realizing he spent most of his funds trading with the good folk earlier but he quickly got back into good humors over it laughing as he showed the measily fifty coins he had on him "Hope ya'll don't mind sharing one whole mug?" the merchant laughed.

He was in good spirits but he hid the fact for now that he was beginning to sort of understand what in the heck was going on here, wherever he was it certainly wasn't the same world he knew but for the time maybe he could save the questions over a drink with the rest of the Seekers.
Yeah, it is lackluster. Much like Monster Hunter, God Eater started out of handheld games and it isn't until God Eater 3 where the production values have really been allowed to have a budget. GE3 is still no MHW, but I think that has to be the next step.

There still is room for improvement, the weapon system was definitely interesting and could be something really fun and unique if expanded upon further.
As someone who has played the first part of the game up til the weird chick starts calling you daddy or mommy, I can say the mechanics felt quite clunky and I often felt like the fighting was lackluster.

Code Veins combat is very fun to me at least, getting new Blood Codes and working towards the build I wanna play, which is a Greatsword wielding Dex and Str scaling mix has been fun. Definitely gonna be putting quite a bit of time behind it. I also like the way they make unlocking abilities tie into other characters memories.

Also Yakumo is such a fucking bro, absolute Chad gotta live him.
I never thought I'd enjoy Code Vein so much, I walked into it expecting the cringiness of God Eater 3 but was met by talented English voice acting, a very engaging story and characters that were actually likeable.

"Well it was worth a shot," Gabriel shrugged, sticking his hands in the pockets of his breeches "You know, maybe we should make a quick stop at the shops that old Bavlorna's guest mentioned? Might be pertinent to see what we can get there, maybe some way to sober up Brutrumukk here?"
