Got three ideas for Quirks that Imma throw at you.

Menace: Basically a Quirk that draws the attention of everyone in a certain radius to the user. At first it'll just be 'drawing attention', but later on, it can be advanced to making people feel intimidated/attracted. Basically gonna be an aggro tool. Has the most effect on people who can see the eyes, and is similarly countered if people close their eyes.

Rocket: Their arms can turn into armored gauntlets with rockets at the back of them, enabling them to hit really hard and really fast. Basically though, it's a physical power up Quirk with a rocket-y flavor. Further advancement would probably be stuff like manifesting rockets elsewhere, or bulking up the gauntlets, or sending out jet blasts. The rocket fuel probably runs off of GUTS AND DETERMINATION AND HEROIC SPIRIT and doesn't have a limit to how hard they can run, but overheat will cause some nasty shit.

Ride-On King: Telekinetic Quirk that allows them to turn anything into a goddamn hoverboard, as long as said object isn't locked down by anything, and as long as they can get on top of the object. If they ride on a person, said person won't be able to control where they go, but will still be able to move around and smack the rider off if they want to. Ascending is difficult, descending is easy, and the amount of tricks are super wild.

At the big black man's mention of people getting killed even when they did seek permits, Yuuki's hand reached out to press against his chest once more, feeling that familiar chill up his spine. Working at a clinic wouldn't be all that bad, and he had some amount of experience with cleaning as well. Heck, worst comes to worst, he could pawn the stuff in his backpack off for capital, and then see if he could straight up bribe his way into getting citizenship. There were many other ways to delay, and that 'Mono' person was out for blood too, the ever-present scepter of an icy death.

But the value of a permit outweighed the dangers involved, and hadn't he already resolved himself to it? To dying, instead of running and living a life in fear of being frozen inside out by a man who killed with words. So he breathed out, took another sip of his tea, and smiled.

"I'm pretty consistent," Yuuki laughed, lying through his teeth, "And it'd be pretty sad if I changed my mind at this point. Let's go then, Miss Pacifica."

“Huh?” Yuuki shot Ashton an odd look, confused as to how bravery was related at all to this. He had always thought that being able to run away and barter for freedom with precious memories of their past life was braver, if also more reckless, but apparently the youth before him had other thoughts on the subject matter. “It’s right to think that you’re innocent before being proven guilty though…”

Before he could say more, however, the situation that was simmering to a boil before him suddenly deescalated, the cat-eared boy apparently not so down for starting up a fight after all. It was all very odd for Yuuki, really, but perhaps he simply misunderstood the world, its people, and their intentions. He could accept that. Nodding, the brunette showed a shadow of a smile towards Wisp as acknowledgment of everything that had passed, before turning to Aer. “No, your worries are totally reasonable,” Yuuki said, “Back home, we have an even worse policy towards foreigners. So yeah, not gonna hold a grudge or anything about it.”

With that, he turned to follow the red-haired warrioress, quietly mulling over those extra details that Ashton had given him: that the boy was a goddamn weeaboo and that certain things couldn’t be explained after all.

And then, there were more.

As they entered the main road once more, Yuuki hitched up his backpack and dipped his head down, doing his best to seem like an unassuming mule for the two demi-humans that lead the way. One eye flickered off to the horizon, in search of the white steel helms that dictated the presence of those ‘professional guards’, while another eye remained on the bobbing twintails of Aer, so that he didn’t get lost. It didn’t seem like they had all that far to go, however, when Ashton suddenly broke off into a run to embrace another boy in a distance. As if fate itself conspired with, or perhaps against, them, suddenly there were modern folk more or less anywhere, and even Yuuki felt drawn to join them.

But he didn’t. He kept his distance, kept his guard up, and kept his eyes flickering around, sensing the danger that such a raucous union created. Already, eyes were on the strange clothes and the stranger gathering, the ordinary folk clearing a wide berth. Hopefully the warrior-looking folk could vouch for the reputation of the new ‘isekai-ers’ as well, but in the worst case scenario…

“Yeah,” Yuuki said, staying by Aer’s side instead of mingling with his fellow Earthlings, “They were kidnapped too. Not sure what they’re doing, but if you could herd them to where they can get registered as well, that’d be greatly appreciated. Not sure they know of the whole state of Priestella yet.”

“O-oh,” Amaryllis replied, the wind taken out of her sails. “No phone. Mm, that’s alright then. See you around, Rina.”

With robotic movements, the Knight of Rose turned around as well, descending into the shadows of the alleyway before majestically…SPRINTING THE FUCK AWAY. AHHHH SHIT SHE TOTALLY ACTED LIKE A PRISSY RICH BITCH, WAVING AROUND HER IPHONE X HUH!? UGH SHE COULD SO EASILY REMEMBER THE DISDAIN AND DISGUST ON RINA’S FACE. NO, EVEN WORSE, BOTH HER OPTIONS WERE CONDESCENDING TO BEGIN WITH. DAMMIT, IF ONLY SHE ASKED RINA WHERE IT’D BE CONVENIENT TO MEET INSTEAD. NO, WAIT, EVEN BETTER, SHE SHOULD HAVE GAVE RINA HER PHONE AND THEN JUST STRIVED TO CALL HER THROUGH SKYPE OR SOMETHING. GODDAMNITTTTTTTT.

Incredible speed propelled her through streets filled with folk, and, for a moment there, Penrose City was filled with blurry photos of a purported ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’.

After she had ran her fill of shame and embarrassment, Amaryllis snuck into an alleyway and shifted back to her civilian outfit, cheeks still flushed with the massively destructive social faux pas she had just committed. Her Sword hadn’t been all that pleased with the fruitless running as well, prodding her heaving sides as if to ask why she’d expend so much energy pointlessly. But Amaryllis ignored the Sword, and instead rematerialized her large backpack, pushing her way into a nearby Starbucks. Sitting down without ordering a coffee, she drew out her laptop and popped it open, the bitten peach flashing over a dark screen before loading up to an innocuous background.

Hunching her shoulders, the bespectacled girl began to browse, accessing an internet that did not actually exist. Though her mastery over gymnastics was fun and her superpowers were great, it was the unlimited, omnipresent wi-fi capabilities of her magical laptop that was the greatest perk she could get. With that, she began scrolling through news sites, first checking through a quick scan of major news sites before checking out more personal ones. The majority of the information was still speculative, investigations not leading up to anything at all outside of the suggestions of mass hallucinations, but one site in particular stood out: a small blog called the Penrose Independent. Whereas the major news outlets stated still that the causes were being investigated and other tabloid sites were already speculating on falsehoods, that particular news article spoke of an ‘underground pipe explosion’, something that definitely could not have happened from circumstantial evidence.

Amaryllis narrowed her eyes, read further, and then stumbled upon it. The Penrose Preternatural, penned by Charlotte Suthers. A news site for the magical underside of Penrose. Independent from Beacon. Perfect.

Before she could doubt herself further, the bespectacled girl shot a quick message to the writer of the article, and then left to buy a hot chocolate.

Hi Charlotte.
I was there. Let's meet for a chat.

“If this maiden has poisoned our well of wisdom with falsehoods and deceptions, then I pray that she not remain here, for the weight of her lies shall be carved upon her flesh when our paths align once again,” Amaryllis replied, with her usual flair and her unusually deadly intent, “As for a promised place for our future rendezvous, however…”

Patting the back of her pocketless, skin-tight shorts, the Knight of Rose summoned forth the crystallization of humanity’s natural achievements, the crystalline device capable of breaching space at the speed of light in order to deliver the oracle’s words. She snapped open her phone, and then said, rather plainly, “What’s your number? If you don’t have one, you can ask about me at Penrose Technical as well, Rina.”

Near the Docks, The Cham

One part of Yuuki thought this was really fucking stupid, how the two others somehow built up a sense of camaraderie between the trio to the point where they'd follow him back to the authorities, despite their own fears and worry. Another part was weirdly flattered by this, even if it was really fucking stupid, how Ashton was going to give up his phone filled with happy memories free of charge. Really, it was just really fucking stupid, and Yuuki couldn't understand it at all. After rushing out from the main road to the docks, they were now just...wasting so much time being indecisive and trying to stay together, when none of them cared about the girl that had ran off before? It gave him a migraine. It made him want to let out a long sigh. It made him feel many, many things.

But ultimately, what overrode it all was...it can't be helped.

The red head and the fire spitter were now squaring off, and if anyone wanted to run away, now was the time to. Yuuki slid his eyes from the boy whose tears dried too quickly to the one that was still silent, unresponsive, before rubbing the back of his neck.

"Yuuki Kimura," he replied, looking more tired than anything. "If you wanna run, you could probably do so now. Don't think we'll get killed for handing ourselves over though, you know? So please don't give them any ideas ahead of time about whether or not to execute us. Last time..."

The ice climbed and he furrowed his brow, feeling the dread of the inner death once more.

"...we weren't already detained and were up against like, the fucking Secret Service or whatever."

Sorta in a void myself cause theres no reason for new posts in my end, but hey, I'm still following the thread.

Asengav, Iesud, Majora.

One Horror, two Lesser Forces.

As Annabelle spoke, Amaryllis stayed silent, committing every word to memory, consciously cutting out irrelevant information, until what remained was a crystallization of a couple important details. The corpse-eater wasn’t a threat, not from what she had actually demonstrated previously, and though Rina may want to gouge out the heart of that vampiric beast as well, the Rose Knight had no lingering attachment to the monster girl.

Once the maiden finished her speech, Amaryllis nodded once in gratitude, a flourished bow repeated. “Thank you for your response, maiden. I’ve no other reason to bother you during this fine evening now, so I bid you farewell. May the restoration of thine abode be speedy and lasting.” With that, she turned on her heels, one hand brushing her midnight locks back before tossing a steel clover out behind her. Not looking back, the knight departed once more, leaving the Horror-inflicted girl to her devices.

“Asengav, Iesud, Majora,” Amaryllis repeated, once she had reconvened with Hunter Rina, “Those were the Patrons that the maiden illuminated in our philosophizing over the identity of that wretched genocider. Theories too are abound, of the possibility of this being a repeated incident over multiple cities, in which case we may have more allies and more resources than previously assumed.”

A pause. The Sword pressed lightly against her left ankle.

“I find it hard to believe, however, that such an ancient Horror would be so crass and sloppy as to have one of their agents perform in such as crass and bloodthirsty matter…and we’d no doubt require more preparations against the child of a Horror to begin with. In this case, then, shall we pursue the remaining two points of interest separately?”
@Rune_Alchemist

“Ah,” Amaryllis dipped her head slightly, acknowledging her mistake, “Please accept my apologies for the improper conduct then, Maiden of Mystic Darkness. Abandoned and wall-less as it is, I found it difficult to ascertain where exactly your territory began. Perhaps placing a chauffeur in front would be preferable next time, so no others make the same mistake I do. A dark miasma is no deterrent for any ordinary magical girl, after all.”

A portal of darkness, and the name ‘Lord Soth’. Though the former was more concerning than her than the latter, it was her sword that sliced thinly into her back at those words. A sign of danger, first for the monster that served as this white-haired girl’s patron, and second for the predators that lurked within the shadows, intangible threats now concrete presences. The coming night truly was her optimal condition, wasn’t it?

“To being with allow me to introduce myself. I am the Knight of Rose, Amaryllis Evenings, the Silverlight Amongst Rusted Roses.” As if to make a point of that, she raised a hand, the red petals of an artificial flower blooming in her palm before disintegrating into dust. “You were there, weren’t you, on that scarlet morning when a magical girl summoned that swarm of ghosts upon saints and sinners alike? What I’m here to ask then, is whether or not you caught a glimpse of the perpetrator of that tragedy, and if you’re willing to divulge that knowledge with me.”
