For Adept and future Adept players, here's something important I added

One way for an Adept to discover their ability is to get taught how to do it from another Adept. The main way they can discover their abstraction is known as a Kindling-Event, basically a vision of the past or future. If they undergo an event in which they experience a strong emotion that corresponds with their color (Say a person with Blue lux feeling sorrow, a green Lux feeling joy, and so on) they will receive one of two visions. One of the main visions they'll receive is one of the people who passed down the connection telling them of their heritage and their abilities and how to utilize it. This person can be anyone in their bloodline and can be more than one person talking to them, as the Lux is passed down from one person to the next like a chain. The only stipulation is that the person is always deceased, as they will be speaking to the phantasm of that person. The other, rarer and vaguer is a vision of the future (or possibly, of another version of themselves) casting and using Lux.

During the winter her freckles are centered across her cheeks and nose, but when it's sunny out and she tans freckles on her forehead and chin come out.

This sentence hurts my brain.

To marry a rich man or woman with legal financial earnings. Her father's money is dirty and she knows she won't make it in jail, so she needs wealth that won't get her arrested.

Being cut off from her father's bank account once he dies and her older brother takes over.

This isn't a complaint or anything, but I do think it'd be interesting seeing her in a world where money and material things are otherwise worthless.

Violeta was vacationing in Mexico for two weeks the summer of her last year in med school when she met Emiliano. They had an affair, Violeta well aware that Emiliano had a wife and ten year old son, Nataniel. Violeta went back pregnant and with Emiliano's phone number to his business cell phone, so his wife wouldn't find out. Once she told him about her pregnancy he had a mansion and bodyguards set up for them in San Diego, CA, because family was the most important thing to him and he wasn't going to be a deadbeat to his little girl, despite rarely getting to see her. He hired nannies to take care of Belen while Violeta finished her residency and started her career.

This is where most of my problems begin. Mainly because this feels reeeeeeeeeeeeally contrived. It's a huge stretch that he'd be able to set her up with a mansion with bodyguards on a whim and totally not get noticed at all by the feds. Mostly because I assume that, if he's powerful enough to get her a mansion, he's probably done shit to get a name for himself. If you're stuck on the whole daughter of drug lord thingy then it'd make more sense if he just funneled her some money and she lived a upper-class lifestyle.

BODY GUARDS ⫻ Her father has two bodyguards following her everywhere for protection.

I'm gonna need some more information about these two... mostly why they're still even following her around after the world's ended. lol

If they're thugs like I think they'd be I'd assume, at best, they'd go "fuck this rich ho" and pull out. At worst, well, I'm not going to go into that but they definitely wouldn't be following her.
