That moment you've got too many rp ideas floating in your head, but you don't want to overwhelm yourself? Yeah... I'm right there, suffering in silence.

RP hunting is like finding the rare toy in the cereal box. Doable, but the time and effort is nearly more than I can bare!

That amazing high when you realized how far you've come in improving your writing. It's impossible to describe, but drowns you in a positive glow.

I love being a terrible person by making my PCs' lives miserable, it's art form that never gets old or boring.

Ask Melon what happens to people that cross me. #LegendKill

Now you're just intriguing my curiosity about that, though I'm not silly enough to try it outside IC. XD
You think I could use Daddy Liberty in the next tournament? He's got two rifles, a crew serve, and a pistol. Also super strength.

Daddy...Liberty? *tilts head*
It's less lazy and more 'You lot need to manage yourselves'

Also, I don't change tactics. It's the weardown. ;D

Most GMs regret that when I attempt to manage myself. I usually end up plotting to dispose of them. >D

Ummm...something tells me that's all in your head Rilla.
I originally intended on a character who would always do what I thought was best, but funnily enough Ruchette is turning out to be one with the biggest personality flaw of overconfidence. Leeroy's character is also letting personality cloud his judgement. Anyone else having characters doing this?

It happens all the time, even in the arena setting, to me. Though for some damn reason it turns out better than I expect in some cases and I usually, in a story, aim to work past that character flaw. I personally think it might be fun to develop a sort of mentor/teacher type connection between characters as the combat aspect both tests and helps develop IC explanation for how to work past said issues without mysteriously eliminating them. ^-^ They still exist, but be manageable. Though likely new problems would arise to take the old's place naturally as you will never get a perfect PC.

I feel like I'm spamming OoCs left and right so if my yammering gets on your nerves, feel free to kick my ass out and I'll get back to doing what I do best: Lurking.

I was emulating Rilla, that laid back and carefree lifestyle he has when dealing with the arena, we call it lazy.

I thought the arena could only handle one Rilla? Or is he infecting you now?
It's because he's playing hard to get

If he's playing hard to get for this long... Maybe you need to change your tactic Rilla. :P
All things considered, Skally does own the NoW thread. :P

Considering he didn't answer and darted right over the question, I had to ask. >_>
I know @Melonhead asked for an example of what @GreivousKhan wanted, did we get it or did I miss it scrolling through the thread?

He has not posted an example but does have a CS requirement, I'm just winging it with Jacer for now. I can show the current WIP if you're curious but I don't know how well I did to be honest. In addition, do we post the CS here first than get approval or make any requested changes first? Also what is the ruling on NPCs being key story elements to a PC? I'm aiming on making Dom and Giz CSes but not sure how fleshed out they should be. Namely as Jacer will avoid them getting into a fight as often as possible.

One last thing I have to say: why in the hell is there a Personality Section?!?! I hate those with a passion as my PC never, never comes out that way when I start to play them!
Links, probably. as otherwise it'll lead to a fuckton of stickies. or maybe just a tutorial thread.

also, do you want NoW stickied.

Are you talking to me or Skallagrim? If me, why not?

I'm open for a fight. If anybody is interested, i will provide my character sheets ASAP.

I would but currently Iron is in one already. I hate using the same PC in multiple fights as I tend to get them confused and become rather sloppy. Also working on Jacer who's either a Low-Mid Level or higher fighter on power, and adding him to the multiverse.
<Snipped quote by Fallenreaper>

I like detailed sheets as long as it's not a bunch of boring backstory or something.

I'm actually, really, tempted to let Jacer tell the bio himself through 1st narrative. It feels like it would be fun and interesting to read his inner monologue as well his emotions, from bitterment to joy, even regret over the Undyne siezure of his planet. :P Who says all conflicts have to be directly tied to the current plot at first.

I could never feel super attached to my own characters. I'd like to think I used to, and I still create characters that pay homage to older characters, but I guess it was something I grew out of; if that makes sense. Also, totally making a new dude for this. Maybe dudette. Depends on my mood.

I tend to get attach, strictly because I enjoy playing another. Each Pc tends to take their own reins at some point and ulitmately becomes something interesting to read and show off as I learn more about them. Ever so often, I get a feeling that some key action is needed and despite how much I feel it's out of character, in the end it feels right for them when it's all done. Though I'm rather over hyped about the fact in this he could 'die' in a sense. Poor Dom's going to have heart attack in his Enslaved heart. Some of these terms will be explained in the bio as I have Jacer's own little world in their own crisis at the time Jacer gets sucked into the multiverse. XD
