As Illia stood inside her barrier, weathering the attacks the robots were firing at her, she heard the shouting of Evfimilia, saying that the robots would get stronger if their brethrens were taken on.

Great, as if they weren't troublesome enough already. She supposed the most efficient way would be to defeat them all at the same time, but that plan flew out of the window when Rafael defeated one of them. He did have the idea of ripping off their limbs first however, which Steve immediately did with his wind powers. However, the robot decided to commit suicide afterwards, rendering the whole thing moot.

Clever automatons, they are...

Illia then was rescued by the arrival of Aleksander, who burned the robots firing at her. At first, she thought his fire wouldn't be hot enough, but apparently, that wasn't the case as the robots decided to retreat. But before they could, something suddenly hit them so hard that they were torn in half by the impact. Illia looked to where the attack came from and saw Mila holding some sort of weapon in her hand. She must have been the one to do that, she thought.

That attack... I don't think I could stop it with my barrier... that weapon was dangerous indeed...

Soon after however, Mila was attacked by another robot who suddenly appeared before her, knocking her down to the ground. Illia could tell that it had gained considerable boost in power and speed. She looked at the weapon Mila was holding, now free on the ground as well. She had to use that.

Quickly, she used her power to snatch the weapon away from the robot. The gun now floated in front of her. She aimed it at where the robot was. However, she couldn't pull the trigger. Forcing it seemed like a bad idea as it might break the weapon. She wondered if it needed to recover from the previous attack, seeing the red light on the tip of its barrel.

For now, she would keep it safe with her, inside her barrier.

When Suwako arrived at the train station, she had expected something far more horrible causing chaos than merely a bunch of unicorns. She felt kind of bad that she had to exterminate them.

Just a little though.

She drew her bow and began firing her arrows towards them. She made sure to keep them on their spot by binding their legs with her vines as well.

She wasn't the only one here though as she noticed another magical girl fighting them. A pirate magical girl to be exact, judging by her outfit. And she was a ranged type too, as she fired off cannonballs towards the unicorns. Unlike herself who maintaned altitude using her usual makeshift tree stump, she instead used her water magic, bouncing up and down with its force. There was also another one with her who seemed to be her partner.

Suddenly, however, the stump she stood on shook terribly, before actually snapping at the base, making the whole thing fall to the ground. It actually caught Suwako off guard, making her fall as well. However, she quickly reacted, first by summoning her loyal familiar Agape, turning him into his giant eagle form. She landed safely above him. And before the tree she once stood before could hit the ground, she commanded it to wither into dust, so that the buildings below wouldn't be harmed.

"Are you alright, Lady Suwako?" Agape asked her.

"I'm fine. Just a little surprised, that's all," Suwako replied. "I didn't expect the unicorns to actually destroy my tree. It seems they have both strength and brain inside that horse body of theirs."

Suwako then stood up above Agape. She preferred the staticness of her trees instead of moving around like this with the wind blowing heavily into her body. She had to root her feet into Agape so that she wouldn't fall off. Thankfully, the owl/giant eagle didn't mind that plants were growing on his skin.

Well, now with Agape, there was no way the unicorns would be able to reach her. And so she resumed her killing of the unicorns, raining down her arrows towards them. Usually, two or three would be enough to kill one. There were quite a lot of them however, so it would take some time.

Of course, as she did, she didn't forget about the other magical girl and her partner. They were on her side fighting off the unicorns for now but who knew which faction they were affiliated with.

In fact, she should just ask them now right away.

"Agape, chase after that other magical girl," she told her familiar. She would approach them with a neutral stance, with her bow withdrawn so that they wouldn't think she was attacking them.

Selena could only watch in horror as Senna continued her rampage. She couldn't really interfere directly as she wasn't the direct fighter type. Back in the game, she rarely ever participated in PvP, and when she did, she mostly did it with players weaker than her. The effectiveness of her curse also relied on the difference between her level and the target's level after all. And without her curses being effective against her opponents, she couldn't really fight them head on.

But then, as she followed Senna from the distance, she found a sight that brought horror to her heart.

The kid... the kid from before was now standing in front of Senna, sword drawn. Selena didn't know where he got that sword but that didn't matter now.

Why, why didn't you run away, you idiot!

Thankfully, Selena didn't end him right away. Instead, she decided to have a little fun with him first, buying Selena time.

"Take a look, Yasha, Selena! Instead of hiding behind your stupid gimmicks get out here and fight already!"

The demonees now outright taunted her and Yasha, knowing that they had to come out to save the kid from her.

And then, she kicked the kid, sending him sprawling to the ground. It was nowhere her full power obviously since the kid was still alive after that, standing up and drawing his sword once more towards Senna.

...Selena couldn't take this anymore. She had to act, knowing full well that it would make her vulnerable.

And so Selena cast a curse that dimmed all the senses towards Senna. And the moment it connected, she ran and leaped right towards her, her dagger drawn. She intended to stab her right on the back of her neck full force. She couldn't give any lenience towards the demoness anymore.

Clara walked towards the guild building, humming merrily as she carried a large vial of potion in her hands. She had been asked to create a medicine for a blight that had just hit a nearby town, so she had been making the thing for the last three days, with the only lead given being the blood of someone infected by it. If she were her master, she would've probably been able to whip out a cure right away, but for her, she had to isolate and crystallize the vector of the disease first from the blood, examine its properties, and then devise the cure. She had to read some books about medicine and plagues to help her in her efforts, borrowed from the guild's libraries. It wasn't exactly easy, but when everything was said and done, she was glad she had been able to do it as it was another milestone in her journey to become an alchemist as amazing as her master. She ended up only eating once a day, with her having not eaten at all this day though. She was always like that when she was wrapped up in her alchemy work. Instead of cooking or just eating out, she would just eat bread and water. She couldn't cook as the cauldron was being used and eating out meant leaving her workshop, which she didn't want to do. She had to do it as quickly as possible after all, since it was a blight.

Well, now that the cure was finished, she would hand it over to the guild and then get something to eat.

When she arrived however, she heard some loud shouting coming from the inside. Wondering what was the ruckus about, she immediately walked towards the receptionist desk.

"Miss Maya, here's the medicine you asked me to make!" she said cheerfully as she showed her the large vial in her hands, putting it down on top of her desk, ignoring the other adventurers that had gathered there.

"Ah, just in time! Wonderful! Now, Clara, we have another mission to deliver the medicine you just make with the others to the diseased town. Would you like to join that mission?"

"Sure!" Clara immediately responded. "I feel more at ease if I can administer my medicine myself."

"Great! So you will be accompanied by Noelle here. She will be your leader for this quest."

"Ah, pleased to meet you, Miss Noelle!" Clara turned around and bowed a little towards the B-ranked adventurer. "I hope we can work together nicely! Who else will be joining us, if I may ask?"

When the battle ended, and the monster finally defeated, Esther knelt down on the ground, feeling terribly exhausted. She had used her wind blades over and over again, kicking so many times she felt her right leg was about to fall off. And her clean body from washing herself in the river before was now all covered in sweat. At least the monster didn't explode into gory bits this time.

Viola and Ires rejoined them a few moments after the beast had vanished, though the princess was clearly still weaker than her usual self, needing Viola to help her move around.

And then, she heard the sound of a rock being crushed.

"Who's there? Show yourself!" Viola shouted towards the sound, her stance showing that she intended to defend the princess from whoever made it.

The one who spoke introduced herself as Diana, and she made quite the entrance, jumping from such a high place and landing with golden wings on her back. Perhaps that was how she could get up to such a high place in the first place as she doubted even she with her wind boost could jump that high.

Esther didn't know whether she should trust her or not. She didn't seem to be another cadet like themselves. But she had that golden wings thing which could be a vessel. But she didn't look like a bad guy. She said she had found someone who looked like a cadet and she took care of him in her house. If it were true, and not a trap, then they owed her for sure.

However, she knew about the monster, which she called a Banshee. Just who was this girl?

Selena watched as Yasha gave her warning shot to the rampaging demon. Unfortunately, it seemed to do nothing to dissuade her from stopping her horrible acts. And instead, it angered her even more.

"YAAAASHAAAA! IF YOU'RE GOING TO ATTACK, DON'T HALF ASS IT, HAHA! AND WHAT ABOUT YOU, SELENA?! PLAYING BIG SISTER AGAIN?! COME OUT AND FIGHT OR I'LL TURN THIS PLACE INTO A GHOST TOWN!"

Hearing this, Selena gulped with fear. She could feel sweat starting to form on her body. She really had no choice but to go all out against her.

She looked at Yasha who was flying on the sky. It seemed she was going to shoot her shells again.

This time however, she would have her aid.

She summoned back her transformed robes from before, wearing them over her current outfit. It was still a robe for sure but it added to her defensive capabilities on top of her enhanced villager outfit. She looked at Senna from the shadows. To deploy the maximum strength of a curse, you have to be able to aim it at the target itself. It would be even stronger if she could touch her, but that would be pretty much suicidal. So this had to do.

She began casting her curses from the unassuming alleyway behind Senna. She prioritized immobilitizing, paralyzing, sleep, and weaken curses, so that Senna wouldn't be able to dodge the barrage Yasha would unleash.

Luna was about to leave the cafetaria when she heard the comment from Hiro, saying that some guy named Kenny was responsible. She looked where Kenny was sitting and saw him high-fiving his friends there.

Yep, he was clearly responsible.

In anger, Luna walked towards his table and slapped him right on his cheeks without saying anything, giving only an angry glare. After that, she immediately walked away, not caring about the pervert's reaction to her actions. He was simply not worth of her time.

And then another weirdo arrived, standing on her way out of the cafetaria. She greeted her in quite the haughty manner before proceeding to sing something about her being a "plastic princess". Well, she didn't care about that either, so she left he cafetaria without bothering to respond to her.

Personality:
She is a bright girl who will greet people with a cheerful smile on her face. She is also curious, wanting to learn about anything and everything, especially knowledge related to alchemy. Alchemy is her hobby. She can synthesize in front of her cauldron for an entire day without tiring, to the point of even forgetting to eat. If she has free time, she will synthesize.

History:
Born in a small village out in the boonies, she would've ended as an ordinary village wife and mother if not for a disease that one day appeared out of nowhere and claimed most of the villagers' life, including her parents. She and the remaining others would've died too if not for Fate sending the famed alchemist Lana Winstred to their place. Lana was just happened to pass by their village when the plague took place. She couldn't revive the dead, as such a feat was beyond even her legendary skill as an alchemist, but she saved all the remaining villagers, including Clara. This event led to Clara being amazed by the power of alchemy, leading to her asking to become Lana's apprentice. Lana at first refused but when Clara created a basic healing salve using her cauldron without being taught, she saw talent in the girl; talent she wanted to cultivate since alchemists were quite rare in this world. And so she took her under her wing, thus changing the fate of the girl forever.

Years passed with them travelling together, and Clara thought her master would stay with her forever. But one day, Lana told her that she had to leave her, as she had to go to some place she couldn't take her to, and that she would entrust her with her equipments. "An alchemist gathers her knowledge from the world. So travel the world and see it with your own two eyes. Become a true alchemist," she said to her.

And thus, Clara did as she was told. She travelled the world as an adventurer, living by fulfilling the requests of the populace. It had been two years since Lana left, and she was now quite comfortable as her role as a wandering alchemist.

Magic:
The only magic she can use is one innate to alchemists, that is to duplicate their items, allowing them to use them in combat without exhausting their stock. Of course, the duplicated item is nowhere near as powerful as the original item, and it will vanish in a few minutes if not used, so they had to use it right away.

Skills:
As an alchemist, she has a keen-eye for any materials in the wild that she can take. Her knowledge of materials are quite vast. You can rely on her to tell whether or not a mushroom is poisonous. She also knows what parts from a monster she could take to be her ingredients and she's not shy to dissect a monster into pieces for their materials. She is also a good cook though she does her cooking using alchemy.

Pretty standard with no enhancements since she does most of her fights with items.
2. Dagger (Magic-grade)
Enhanced dagger she used to loot monsters for their body parts. Enhanced in sharpness and precision so she can dissect them with ease.

Armor:
1. Alchemist's Cloak (Magic-grade)
She created the fabric by alchemy, giving them properties that grant them far more resistance to attacks than they look.
2. Wind Boots (Magic Grade)
She created the leather by alchemy, giving them properties that grant her speed, allowing her to dodge attacks more easily.

Item:
1. Fire Bomb (Common-grade)
The standard bomb, giving an explosion of force and heat.
2. Ice Bomb (Common-grade)
A bomb that drops the temperature of the area inside its explosion rapidly.
3. Thunder Bomb (Common-grade)
A bomb that shocks anything inside its range
4. Wood Bomb (Magical-grade)
A bomb that sends off tiny, sharp splinters of wood inside its explosion radius. The splinters were also coated with poison, adding to the cruelty of it.
5. Healing Salve (Common-grade)
A salve that can instantly heal little cuts and bruises. Useless against bigger wounds.
6. Healing Potion (Magical grade)
A potion that can instantly heal large wounds.

Anything Else:
She travels around with her beast of burden. Originally owned by Lana, it now belongs to her as it carries around her alchemy cauldron and ingredients. It is a magical beast, capable of carrying many heavy stuff without tiring. Normally, it carries around a cauldron and its mixing stick, a wooden chest that stores ingredients Clara use for her alchemy, and some bags carrying miscellaneous items that Clara will need in her journey.
