Current No point posting your writing online if you don't care about praise.

Is the rioting and BLM brought up yet?

Honestly, I don't get the grief given to SAO when there's stuff like Mushoku Tensei where the MC actively lusts for underaged girls. And it's the most popular isekai in Japan.

Reminder that the Pentagon just confirmed UFOs are real.

Also, it's kinda annoying going back and forth writing short replies since I got other stuff to do and that just interrupts my rythm.

Ideally I'll wait for the Hangai sisters and the Shoggoth, but eh, guess I'll post now while I have free time.
Shizuka’s “condition” certainly caught Lunatea’s attention, enough to halt her work on the tents. She looked at his direction, still bent over, raising an eyebrow as she did.

What did he just yell again?

Before she could ask whether he was okay or not, however, he came up to her, thanking her for helping the jiangshi.

“You don’t have to thank me.” She straightened herself, finally covering her panties from his sight. “I’m just doing my job as part of this taskforce.” She wasn’t being humble. She really didn’t think she had done something impressive worthy of praise.

The moment Tomi rested her arm on the rabbit girl's shoulder, Lunatea responded with a glare. Who was she to just casually lean on her like that?! And when she patted her on the head, that glare only intensified.

Still, the rabbit girl didn’t say anything. She was still too tired to enter into an argument with anyone. Especially against yet another seductive monster girl like her. Really, why would she be flirting with the scared and confused man? She knew how much monsters, or youkai, as the locals dubbed them, were hated here.

She did break a smile when Kerry and Valeryia called her out on it though.

The two newcomers to their little taskforce. Now she remembered. They did say there would be more joining them on the island itself.

Lucky they got wings to fly. She had to take a boat to get here.

Soon after, Samael came to her, demanding for them to stay together. Lunatea quickly switched her frown to a smile, patting him on the head as she bent over to be on his eye level.

“Yes, we can do that. Though, I wonder. Why are you here if you cannot fight? I can’t defend you all the time, you know.”

She didn’t mean anything bad by her harsh words. It was simply the truth. She was not some super nanny that could keep him safe while defeating her enemies at the same time. She was just a humble scholar.

Returning her attention back to the half-naked man, she decided to just let Shizuka and the others handle him. Unless they wanted her to hypnotize him, that is.

Valeryia’s arrival took off the pressure off the rabbit monster considerably. And just in time at that. She was running out of mana rapidly. Even with her panties multiplying her magic output, she didn't have much mana storage in the first place.

She didn't remember her being on the ship though. So where did she come from?

Whatever. She could think about it later. For now, escape was her No. 1 priority.

And, oddly enough, the army didn't make chase once they were out of the burning village. Luck or something more?

It didn't take long until she and the others reunited with the other groups. The first thing Lunatea did was to deliver the still unconscious jiang-shi to her sister, telling her what had just occured in their battle.

Now safe from the Varjans, they decided to make camp in the middle of the nearby forest. Lunatea did her part in erecting the tents. Though, since she kept bending over as she worked, she gratuitously provided a show of her panties to anyone looking at her direction.

Once she finished, she sat with the others near the bonfire with her legs raised, giving yet more view of her undergarments to her comrades who sat across her. Her tummy rumbled. It wasn't patient enough to wait without giving a complaint, even though Nyla was right there cooking them dinner.

Lunatea's eyes unknowingly rested on the shoggoth maid's rump as she worked. There was just something… hypnotic about how she moved her hips.

It didn’t last long, however, thanks to the appearance of a certain man who drew his blade in the middle of camp, shouting something about yokai in his language. Thankfully, she had studied the local tongue before she got here. Even though the isolated island might have a different variation of it.

“Calm down.” She looked at him, not even bothering to stand up. “We won’t harm you. In fact, we’re the ones who saved your life.”

When he drew his blade on Valeriya, however, that was when she knew she had to act.

“Hey, stop.” She stood up and walked to him, giving him a scowl. “Don’t hurt her. Or else you’ll have all of us to contend with.”

She began to wonder if she should use her hypnosis on him. Put him back to sleep.
Canon characters, right?
Call me interested! Might play as Ayesha Altugle from Atelier.

Hammer's Saintess ideas seem really fun too. If she's super cheerful to hide how much she's struggling, it'd throw my guy for a loop since she'd be different from what he expected, but also he wouldn't realize the truth just looking in from outside. Whereas if she's just, like, completely hopeless and emotionally repressed, he'd almost immediately realize something was wrong, but have no idea how to help or what have you.

She wouldn't be overly cheerful. She would be quiet, only giving a forced smile whenever she has to converse with someone. And she has basically given up resisting against her terrible fate.

The Bastard Saintess sounds fun. I'm a sucker at playing sad and miserable nice girl characters.

With a hearty slap, Lunatea successfully attached the talisman onto the jiangshi’s forehead.

“Hah, got it!” The rabbit girl declared. “Now, this should calm her down.”

And indeed it did. Slowly, the jiangshi’s body reverted back to its normal state. No more fangs, no more claws, and no more slaughter. She fell down to her knees and the terrifying aura she emitted disappeared completely.

Before Lunatea could answer her questions, she lost consciousness. Luckily, she was fast enough to hug her before her body hit the ground.

"Hangai… Hangai…" She yelled, shaking her body. "Oh godsdammit…"

No dice. She wasn't waking up.

She had to carry her.

Lifting her up on a princess carry, she looked around, searching for the others.

Wait, what's that sound?

It was the sound of hooves thundering in the distance.

Her victory celebration was cut short.

Reinforcements. The Varjans were coming. And they were coming in droves.

She turned around to where the sound came and narrowed her eyes, trying to count just how many they were.

Too many. There were too many of them for her or the others to take on. Especially since Hangai here couldn’t help out with her brutal talisman-less form anymore.

“Everyone! Retreat! We have to run away!” She yelled as loudly as she could.

Thankfully, it seemed that the villagers had been evacuated. They had accomplished their objective, and now, all they had to do was to survive long enough until they could reach a safe place to hide.

Damn it. She wasn’t made for something like this!

As axes and javelins rained over her head, she conjured a wind wall above her, deflecting the thrown weapons from digging into her skin. Her skirt flew wildly as her black panties worked overdrive, trying to keep their wearers safe from harm.
Meanwhile, she looked around panickedly for her comrades. Sam was the first to come to her mind. That kid really couldn’t protect himself. As for the others, well, she prayed they had a way to deflect the attacks coming their way while making their escape.
