General alert that today is deadline day and still waiting for over 50% of the cast to post.

I was going to give until midnight for the deadline, but given that our final poster hasn't been on in six days, I am not going to hold onto the hope of an 11th hour post.

So second cycle posts are now open! Feel free to continue exploring the Monday morning school vibes! Deadline is Saturday 30th, but I get the impression we aren't going to need to wait that long xD

As a GM this RP is making me laugh evilly a lot as a read everyone's posts.

The only issue with this RP is that it is fragile. If one person drops it can be very difficult for it to recover. That is why I gave everyone a week to post, so no one would feel pressured haha.

I find that it is a good idea to establish early on if the RP is going to be a sandbox or have a defined finish point. Sandboxes can be easier to run just because its easier to throw characters in and out, but at times feels a bit empty as plots are harder to evolve and it can feel like everyone is floating in anti-gravity.

Meanwhile having an defined end helps people along the path, even if at times it can feel somewhat linear. You just have to remember to stick to the path, otherwise you end up going off it and end up never returning to it.

I might have to write a GM guide on this... I have the urge to write one.

Well, it's Saturday and I've got nothing to do except RP and play video games. Is posting more than one time per cycle okay? Otherwise Violet's question is gonna be hanging there without resolution for a whole week, lol.

So ideally everyone would post once per cycle, the idea is it gives everyone a chance to get something across before one or two people people blast ahead. I gave a week's deadline but given how much everyone is hyped for this I doubt we are going to need the full week xD

It is a simple setup for everyone to get in and introduce their characters. The deadline for first run submissions is Saturday 23rd January.

Fall was in true swing. The temperature was dropping, leaves were changing and the landscape was changing. In a months time, winter would take its full grip and finish the transformation of the landscape. The morning frost had truly taken hold, covering the less covered paths with a thin layer of white.

The only school in the small town was located just off the main high street, down a small one way side road that tucked it neatly behind a few shops. Given the small size of the town, it only needed a single school to cover every possible grade. Even then every class comprised of multiple grades in order to cut down on the number of teachers required. The school was just opening and students were slowly making their way to classes. Given that the budget for the school was tiny, it was more of a daycare centre than an educational establishment.

I wouldn't get to hung up on relationships. Since you will all be spending class time together, and you are a small group, you would all be at the very worst, civil to each other.
