Eris wrinkled his nose in disdain, shaking his head. What an actual waste of space. Sure, the Academy was known to be a mixing pool of 'equal opportunity', but that didn't mean anyone had to lower their standards. The princess was squandering the opportunity, but he doubted he was the first to notice. "Quelle honte," Eris openly scoffed, crossing his arms. If there was no profit, what was the actual point? That wasn't even being a mage sympathizer, that was just plain stupidity. At minimum he could have respected turning the profit into something as asinine as it was.

As Varis exited the car, Eris raised an eyebrow at the hurrying vampire. Make what point? He paused for all of a second before grabbing his briefcase and following suit. He couldn't wait to get out of this suit, Feliks had it tailored to perfection as always but he was certain the collar was intentionally designed to start pressing on his neck after a few hours. Not that he could ever suffocate, but the discomfort alone gave him an itch that needed to be taken care of sooner than later. Loosening his tie a touch as he climbed out, he broke into a swift walk to catch up to the redhead.

Aha, it looked like he was going to be given a key. Was he going to torment the little Starag some more? How cute, breaking him in sooner than later. He honestly should have done the same, but that was a lot of effort. Maybe he can just annoy the kid to insanity instead.

"You are having a lot of fun with little Sunny Starag," Eris noted. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you held a grudge against him."

I'm loving the variety we're getting so far, for the currently completed sheets I'll be doing some reviews live on our Discord with the end results being posted in the OOC. As for everyone else please don't feel rushed, as long as your CS is up by August 25th you have nothing to worry about.
As I mentioned in the OOC this RP is starting with people that have some adventuring experience, so you'd have your stone already (think of it like we're starting at lv 30 on other classes) and a few spells under your belt. In the CS' history I would expect some accounts on how the moves were obtained. But it does go without saying that I'll make sure to look them over and judge accordingly to make sure it comes off at the same level as everyone else.

The comment on his drink was unexpected, but he raised his glass anyway. That was the right call, it looked like, the decision sparking a long response. Ray couldn't help but raise his eyebrow at the (accurate) description this Milo rattled out. Knowing that he wasn't alone in his reluctant presence, he did feel a little bad. If anyone could just tell he didn't want to be here, he wasn't being very courteous to the gracious hosts that went out of their way to give him this free vacation.

He nearly finished his drink, the last of it swirling as he would return the gesture and turn to Milo. He wasn't into social media if he was being honest, with the most he ever saw on YouTube being funny animal videos. Still, he took the guy's word for it, nodding slowly in understanding. At the mention of making a video, however, both his eyebrows shot up. Was he hitting on him? No, no, the whole reuniting-reunion frag-crap was obviously influencing that thought. And the whiskey added to it. He shook off the thought, almost laughing at himself. Not even an hour in and he was already falling for that crap, go figure.

"Soirée," He repeated the word, a little impressed. "Well, then..." He raised his glass, his wrist turning slightly to tilt it back and forth. "Here's hoping the party gives you plenty of material for your next blog or video or...whatever they're calling it these days. Sorry." He apologized for messing it up already.

Away from the rest of the inept, anti-social rabble and happily (and properly) socializing, Shiori Fujioka felt like she was in her element. Exchanging stories, giving a polite smile at uninteresting facts spewed, and gently chuckling at thinly veiled insults, for all intents and purposes she was simply at another grand party. Granted this one was just a touch more intimate than others she had been to and had much more variety than she would have liked, but at the very least occasionally watching the awkwardness play out was highly entertaining.

She adjusted the shoulder of the stunning white dress slightly, tossing her hair over her shoulders as she tuned back into the conversation. Obviously she was the best looking one here, but rubbing elbows was always fun. For her, anyway. But showing off was just as fun as talking; she was hot and she knew everyone else knew it. The dress hugged her every curve and the material made it clear that it cost quite a pretty yen.

It was so hard being popular!

There was a slight lull in the conversation which caught her attention, and she let out a slight giggle as she decided to continue it. "Of course," Shiori agreed with...whatever the fuck the blonde was talking about, her words eliciting a positive reaction.

@Hero

If a Blue Mage possible, by chance? If not, I can run a Machinist.

Sure! The OOC is up so whenever you finish feel free to post it there, also has our Discord link!

Happily chatting Aaron's ear off about her plans for the get together, Lilie waved her phone around anytime she hadn't been taking notes or scouring the web for ideas. The conversation had gotten rid of a lot of her unease, and the next time she saw Mariette, she would inform of of her plans to throw the party. Aaron was right, after all, and the less arguing the better. Besides, after a nerve-wracking first few days, a little picnic for fun was not just a great icebreaker, but it was a good way to get to know everyone. Keeping busy was always her way of keeping herself from freaking out anyway; 'the devil makes work for idle hands to do' as her mother always said.

As Salem approached the pair, Lilie waved him over frantically. For the moment she placed her phone on the table, eager to welcome him and ask how the class went. Of course, her perky expression all but vanished the second her eyes landed on his hands. Her own hands flew to her mouth as she saw how they looked, the blood making it look worse. How in the world could this have happened? As he mentioned his class her eyes snapped up to him. This happened in a class. So it was done on purpose. Someone intentionally hurt Salem to the point where he was bleeding and he was playing it off like it was nothing.

A small panic seemed to grip Lilie, though she shoved it down and away as she knew Salem needed to be tended to first. "This happened in class?" She lowered her hands as she looked at Salem. "Forget about hanging out, we need to get you healed--there's an infirmary, isn't there? Maybe we can find Aine--" Lilie kept cutting herself off, wishing she had something to help him with.

Eris reveled in his small victory as he followed Varis wordlessly. Leaving poor little Maxie behind on her first night here was a little mean, but this wasn't going to be the last time it would happen whether it was trying to stay in the Sinnenodel's good graces or doing his own work. And if the kid managed to kill her in one night then Eris would be either genuinely worried or sincerely impressed. He kept himself from looking back at his poor pet, though he did check his FitBit. Oh, right, he was supposed to give this to the kid. There was always tomorrow, he needed to unpair it from his phone anyway. As amusing as it would be watching the kid have an aneurysm from the sheer amount of notifications, he wasn't too keen on anyone reading his messages.

Sliding into the car after Varis, once the door was closed he pulled on his hair slightly, an irritated groan escaping him as he slumped back. He rolled his head to the side so he could look at the redhead, knowing he was only going to get a small window to whine before getting on his nerves. Shuffling a little to the side, he rested his head on Varis's shoulder for a second. Whatever complaint he might have had was extinguished in the quiet moment that followed, though

"I've missed you," He told him charmingly, even if he knew it wouldn't be so well received. Once he heard the door open he lifted his head and sat up properly as the driver climbed in. The car moved at last, and Eris rubbed his temple for a moment before speaking again. "I don't think setting foot in this place is to anyone's benefit. Seems pointless and sorely lacking in relevant revenue," He cast a wary eye to the buildings as they passed them, frowning. "It's too bad, the location is prime if you know what to have where..."

Man, this was a small world.

The familiar voice nearly caused Farah to miss the latest arrival's simple order for a water. Go figure, of course Michel would show up. She'd be more embarrassed that she didn't know that he went to the same college as Rachel Ashford, but their meetings had always been so brief and conversations far too interesting to talk about mundane crap. That and she was usually working anyway. Still, this probably wouldn't be the first or last time they'd bump into each other while she worked here.

"Son of a--mmmm," She cut herself off, trying hard not to be too annoyed, though the tight-lipped smile betrayed how she actually felt. "Normally when people reunite they say 'it's good to see you again' or...not that," She couldn't help but chatise him, decided to take care of the girl's order first.

"Here you go!" She placed the iced glass in front of the girl before taking a few steps away, throwing a look at the German. As cute as ever, but that was always ruined anytime he opened his mouth. She didn't entirely hold it against him, but not everyone was born with a silver spoon in their mouth. But he did have a point, even if she didn't want to admit it. Going over and grabbing a beer mug, she randomnly chose 'whatever' as was asked, returning to him shortly afterwards. "My life's aspiration is to please, don't you know?" She told him in a perky voice, leaning on the bar for a moment.

"God, I hope it's an open bar."

The mutter was lost in the commotion after the twins finished speaking, the man unimpressed with the showmanship. There was little about the speech that really grabbed his attention, and if he was being honest, the only thing that really occupied him was trying to resist the urge to run back to his room to grab a cigarette. Now was as good a time as ever to kick the habit, especially since quitting it cold turkey was his usual way of approaching things. But the longer he lingered, the stronger the urge grew. Figures as much; being surrounded by a surplus of hoity-toity people and a slight worry about Buddy being looked after by strangers did wonders to his nerves.

He should have brought him along, but the long trip seemed to have taken a lot of Buddy's energy. Truthfully, Ray was feeling the travel fatigue as well, but seeing as the gathering was for Fragmented, it was hard to excuse himself to avoid mingling. The estate itself was lovely and he was dying for a chance to take Buddy for a walk to explore the place. The fresh air would probably rid him of some of the jet leg, but for now, getting buzzed was the easiest way to just forget everything and enjoy himself.

Ignoring a majority of the party goers and taking care not to run into anyone, Ray's fingers rapidly tapped the counter as he got to the bar, waving the bartender down as he approached a woman with her drink. "Whiskey, neat," He sighed, running a hand through his hair as he tried to control his hand. He should have gotten more nicotine packs.
