Whether you mean his height or his stomach, Zander is someone you'd be hard pressed to not call... well, large. Somehow, this manages to consistently increase, despite eating relatively healthily. His skin is ever so slightly dark, and he rarely dresses in anything other than Hawaiian shirts, cargo shorts and sandals.

Personality
Zander is a fairly laid back, optimistic person. It is rare for him to not be smiling, and he tends to try and go out of his way to lighten everyone else's moods as well.

However, if there's one thing that annoys him, its when something interrupts or otherwise cuts into his relaxation time, which in his own words, is unquestionably sacred. He values sleep and rest heavily, and anyone who gives him too much sass about it will quickly learn what it's like to be on the bad side of a guy who is built like a hippo, moves like a spider monkey, and constantly tries to bury his anger.

Backstory
Zander's life, when compared to many others, has actually been fairly tame. Shortly after his birth, his parents, a skilled weapon and meister couple, died while on a mission. This led to his placement in an orphanage, where he was closely watched by employees of the DWMA just in case he turned out to be a demon weapon like his mother.

Sure enough, that turned out to be the case, and he quickly got taken in by Sid Barrett, who had been close friends with his parents. Over the years, Sid helped him learn to control his abilities, as well as teaching him how to fight somewhat effectively without needing to become a weapon.

When he finally ended up joining the academy proper, people quickly learnt that he was surprisingly capable despite his large size and blatant laziness.

Three-section spear

Weapon Form Description
Zander looks like a simple, yet very large three section spear. His blades are curved, similar to a naginata, and each section is around two metres long. It is also entirely possible to retract his chains, connecting the three sections to use him like a normal double-bladed spear.

Miscellaneous Abilities/Skills
He is surprisingly agile considering his size and weight, leading to him being given the nickname Acrofat.

He is capable of transforming his arms into the two bladed sections of his staff form, chains included, allowing him to fight even without his meister. However, he prefers not to do this, however, as the way they hang from the chains can make it difficult to properly control, and he worries he might accidentally hurt himself or someone else.

He is a startlingly good cook.

People seem to want to have rules for whatever reason...I'm going to trust that you can handle yourselves. Don't take over the roleplay, nothing too insane in terms of characters, don't be a jerk, stay active, etc.

As for posting, this is casual, so post when you think you need to, as much as required. When it comes to describing your character, I'd like length, but while interacting, less can mean more, so do what you think there.

Just be reasonable.

There is one guideline, though, and to enjoy yourself. If you think you're genuinely not having fun, then talk to me and I'll see what I can do.

The Death Weapon Meister Academy. Popularly known as the DWMA. It is an institution to train weapons and meisters, established by Death, to prevent Kishin, the demon gods who plunged the entire world into the depths of terror, drove people into a maelstrom of madness, and nearly destroyed everything from ever being born again. The gist of it is, it's an organization of justice, to keep the peace.

Why is it a technical school anyway?

Oh well. Now then, let's get ourselves duly keyed up, and get going!

Hey there! For those who haven't figured it out yet, this is a Soul Eater RP, based off of the Soul Eater anime. If you haven't seen the anime before or are a little bit rusty with your weeb-ness, fear not! I'll give you a quick run-down right now. If you don't need to be refreshed, then I guess just skip ahead.

Soul Eater is an anime about the DWMA, an academy in Death City, Nevada (fictional, for those who don't know) that teaches meisters and weapons. Meisters are individuals who can wield weapons, and weapons are individuals that can transform their bodies into a variety of weapons. Meisters wielding weapons then go out to kill and take the souls of 99 Kishin Souls (evil people, basically) and 1 witch (like the one with the hat) to make their weapon into a Death Scythe (note: Death Scythe does not have to be a scythe in particular.) For more information, I'd recommend watching the anime (it's on Netflix) or just going through the wiki (be warned, the anime and manga are different. we're mainly basing ourselves off the anime.)

This RP will basically be the main story of the anime, but with a twist- with the exception of the teachers and Death himself, the cast of characters is entirely new- all OCs.

@Agent 47I may consider joining this however I have one big question: Can we double up? I don't like joining up with other people to support a character. If they leave it puts my characters into a heavy predicament. Likewise is there anything specifically not allowed? I would like to know what I am getting into before i make a character. I intend to make a pair two guys who've been together since they were young. Not childhood but long enough. I'll need to change them from their previous incarnations most likely though as the meister was a nephew of Lord Death this new incarnation will make him human with no relation to the aforementioned and the weapon is a monk who turns into a holy blade who specializes heavily in 'anti-evil' stuff.
