The Hat saw traits of Hufflepuff in the boy, but it was clear to the Sorting Hat that Tom belonged in Gryffindor. He was courageous, daring, curious, and willing to put everything on the line for those he holds dear.

Tom loves the damned thing to death. It's excellent at catching rats and is ferociously loyal.

Boggart:
A giant, disgusting rat ---> a fat rat wearing a comical clown suit (I know, I'm not funny, this is the bes i can do I'm sorry please give me advice or something i dunno)

Tom hates rats. Back in Sweden they were a constant nuisance for the family and many of them bit Tom. Obviously, a giant one would be rather frightful for the boy.

Wand:
Sycamore, Unicorn hair, 12.5 inches, quite rigid

The sycamore makes a questing wand, eager for new experience and losing brilliance if engaged in mundane activities. It is a quirk of these handsome wands that they may combust if allowed to become ‘bored,’ and many witches and wizards, settling down into middle age, are disconcerted to find their trusty wand bursting into flame in their hand as they ask it, one more time, to fetch their slippers. As may be deduced, the sycamore’s ideal owner is curious, vital and adventurous, and when paired with such an owner, it demonstrates a capacity to learn and adapt that earns it a rightful place among the world's most highly-prized wand woods.

Unicorn hair generally produces the most consistent magic, and is least subject to fluctuations and blockages. Wands with unicorn cores are generally the most difficult to turn to the Dark Arts. They are the most faithful of all wands, and usually remain strongly attached to their first owner, irrespective of whether he or she was an accomplished witch or wizard.
Minor disadvantages of unicorn hair are that they do not make the most powerful wands (although the wand wood may compensate) and that they are prone to melancholy if seriously mishandled, meaning that the hair may 'die' and need replacing.

I know, I know. Have a moment to take it all in.

Standing at 5’7” and weighing in at 129 pounds, Tom has put on quite a bit of muscle from Muggle sports in his early years and Quidditch (as well as running from troube) at Hogwarts. His sinewy figure has caused him to become rather attractive. He has light beige, rather fair skin, and his hair takes a light shade of blonde, though it is darker near the top of his head. He has bright, blue eyes with a sort of determined look to them and fairly light skin.

Tom normally wears the standard dress code required for Hogwarts, and sports a scarlet red pair of dress robes. When in Muggle settings, anything will do for him.

Personality:

Tom is naturally questing, fun-loving and sociable. Tom is incredibly extroverted and enjoys spending time out and about. He is naturally inquisitive and curious, enjoys new experiences, making new friends, and even putting his foot over the line every so often. He’s audacious, brave, and willing to defy the odds.

“Do you have a map? ‘Cause I'm getting lost in your eyes.”

Tom is also naturally a flirt and is easily smitten by just about anybody, no matter house. Whether it’s in Binns’s class, the halls, or in the middle of Quidditch practice, Tom doesn’t mind throwing out a pick-up line or so. While he’s often just teasing, he does have his eyes on a few students in particular. Tom is also a teasing person, but he attempts to make sure that his words aren’t taken seriously.

Tom is quite easily angered and holds grudges that can last for long times. He lacks self-restraint and once he is fired up, it’s difficult to cool him off again. He despises bullies and people who care deeply about blood purity. He holds himself to high moral standards and would never dare pull a move himself.

Backstory:

Tom was born in Malmö, Sweden, to two Muggles, though the family later moved to the countryside. Tom showed early signs of magic in his youth, such as levitating kitchen pans, breaking glasses, and even hovering slightly. His family just thought these were tricks of the light or such, but Tom felt that he had something else. Tom grew to admire Muggle magicians such as Harry Houdini, Harry Blackstone Senior, and Jasper Maskelyne, and aspired to one day be able to perform magic like them.

At age 7, Tom's family packed their bags and moved again to London, where the economy was booming so Tom's family could find a job. This put him on the list for the Quill of Acceptance, as Tom was, in fact, a muggle-born wizard, a fact that would not have been recognized by Durmstrangs if the family had remained in Sweden. Tom had gotten a lucky break. Divine intervention? (No.)

When the letter from Hogwarts came, Tom was, of course, greatly surprised, but the fact that he was a wizard felt right to him. He had known there was something different, and now, he had confirmed it. His parents, on the other hand, were absolutely shocked out of their minds that their son would be leaving for a magic school. It took a long time for the parents to finally accept the fact that their son would be shooting lightning out of a wooden stick like the fairy tales, and still remained skeptical of wizarding society, but Tom thinks that they have turned over a new leaf in the way they look at wizards.

Tom arrived at Hogwarts and was sorted into Gryffindor with little hesitation on the Hat's part. He made several friends, both inside and outside of his House, and several enemies due to the tensions with blood purity. Tom's teachers were also mostly not thrilled with him, due to the fact that his efforts in the classes- with the exception of D.A.D.A.- were very limited.

This is his 5th year as a student at Hogwarts, where Tom hopes to be able to enjoy a fulfilling time at the school while also getting good OWL grades (at least in D.A.D.A.)

Extra:

-Owns a Cleansweep. It’s battered, and he wants a new one.

-Has earned a reputation as a troublemaker and has attended more than 100 detentions in his time at Hogwarts. Definitely ruled out as a prefect.

-Can speak both English and Swedish fluently. And has a very slight Swedish accent.

It was about 10:00 PM or so in Hogwarts Castle, and Tom was sprinting through the halls. He had just been returning to the Gryffindor commons when Pringle saw him. Luckily, the Caretaker had not seen his face, so if he could only find a hiding spot, he would be in the clear. He just needed a place to hide, just for a moment. He reached the 7th floor and stopped. There was nowhere left to run. He could hear Pringle’s feet and knew he was gaining on him. He angrily paced the room. He was going to miss Quidditch practice again because of detention, he knew it. He just needed a place to hide from the angry caretaker.

He opened his eyes and stopped his pacing when he saw a large door in front of him. Curiously, he walked through. Inside, there was a small space, not exactly roomy, but enough to hide in. Tom squeezed into the area, and the door shut behind him. He could hear the Caretaker run past, and he grinned. Thank God for this room, whatever the hell it was.

He would be back tomorrow to see how exactly the room worked.

Appearance: Standing 5'11 and weighting 65kg Chris has ash blonde hair and blue grey eyes. He is naturally muscular and quite attractive in the face. He wears a set of braces to fix his British teeth and has a gumshield which can fit over them during sports. He generally has a good dress sense and each piece of clothing he wears has a purpose. He enjoys wearing his own clothes when he can, instead of his uniform. He'll most often be found wearing a tight fitting but thin jumper in one of his favourite colours over a t-shirt made of wicking material, and a pair of cargo pants with many pockets. His shoes are where he really lets loose where he can be found wearing anything from indoor slippers (in tartan) to designer running trainers with an air sole.

Personality:
With a stable personality and good sense of humour. Chris enjoys pumping iron and playing racing car games on his PS4. He cant wait to get his provisional licence. Chris feels like hes spent most of his life "on pause" waiting for something to happen. He yearns to have somebody in need he can help, and hes a good person to have at your side when things "get spicy".
Chris is part English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh. He often jokes that he is "Mr. Britain" due to having a bit of each of the kingdoms in him, though not in equal parts.

Chris's favourite sport of choice is rugby. They say that rugby is a Hooligans game played by Gentlemen, and Chris is no exception. Possessing both a genteel and pugilistic attitude at the same time. On the pitch he is tricky and develops opportunities at a level above his age group. Hes a team player and is never afraid to put himself on the line for his teammates. He'll never let anyone get left out and tends to stick up for the underdogs.
Characteristically of rugby players he is not unintelligent. In fact his IQ is 145. His three favourite subjects of conversation are rugby, history and technology. He has even dabbled in making his own circuits from kits, and also buys from the rarest and most obscure manufacturers. He also is surprisingly philosophical and willing to talk at length for hours on the subjects of justice and learning.
Chris is an Alpha level Gear-Queer partly due to the fact hes an Air Cadet. Theres nothing he likes more than making a bug out bag, compiling equipment lists mentally and staying up to date with the latest tech. He watches a number of youtube channels to keep up on the trend on firearms, he especially likes Nutnfancy.

Bio:
Chris's father is a Diplomat working with the UK foreign office. During Chris's younger years he was stationed in the Bahamas before they moved back to the UK. Even though he was young, there was an incident, when he and his mother were celebrating the Christmas festival of junkanoo there were crowds busy watching the parade of floats at either side. Someone got involved in an argument apparently pulled a gun. The crowds immediately stampeded away from the area and Chris's mother was knocked down. Chris instinctively turned round to face the crowd, remembering that animals in a stampede will not risk hitting you if they can see you. With no small amount of bravery. He stood over his mother preventing her from being trampled by the crowd.

His father fostered in him the values of a British Gentleman and love of sport. His mother on the other hand was always interested in religions, she learnt deeply and widely in the subject but never found quite what she was looking for. She instilled in him an ability to converse and debate about philosophy and to think creatively. Despite this Chris took on more of a lateral thinking style.

From an early age Chris's father allowed him to follow whatever career he wanted. His father did not try to steer him into being a diplomat. Nevertheless he does inherit some of the skills of the family trade. When Chris was young he always showed an interest in the military, finally deciding that he wanted to be in British military intelligence. When he was 15 his father approached him and told him about a secret school he'd heard whispered about in the back rooms during his career. Through a bit of manoeuvring and calling in favours he was able to get a prospectus. The place seemed to offer one of the best training programs anywhere. They talked long and hard throughout the night and eventually the month came and Chris packed his bags and travelled by bus to a small commercial airport on the outskirts of London. He boarded a private jet which lifted off into the overcast sky.

Spy Information

Talents:
Resistance to PTSD: During his entrance exam it was found that Chris has an unusual ability to deal with stressful situations. His decompression period was much shorter than others and is a subject of keen interest to the researchers at the school.

Driving: Chris is really good at driving games. He practices them constantly and doesnt distinguish between GT Sport, F1 2017, DiRT 4, or mariokart8. Hes also very observant when hes been in cars and watches everything the drivers doing. His present for his 14th Birthday was a trip round brands hatch (a private race course) in a new Ford Focus.

Parkour: Chris is a parkour enthusiast. Ever since assassins creed came out Chris has been practicing parkour. He is mostly self taught and practices once a week. He incorporates it into his weekly run where he can. He knows he wont always be able to do it as he gets bigger, but right now hes the perfect weight.

Rugby fit: Chris is fit and strong for his age and unafraid to tackle another person bigger than him because he knows the technique. He has a high body strength to weight ratio. He can bench press 80kg. He can do 300 sit ups in a set of 100, he can do 70 pressups in one set. He can run 6 kilometres in roughly 30 minutes and he can swim one end of a pool to another in one breath. A game he used to play in the Bahamas.

Gadgetry:
Sig P229 Elite 2 tone .40 threaded barrel: A compact sig pistol that sports a full power .40 round and a 12+1rd double stack magazine. Larger 14rd magazines with a plus two baseplate are also usable and he keeps two of those those in a carbon fibre holster. He figures that after hes drawn the pistol concealed carry isnt an issue and the larger magazines can be used. The weapon has a barrel that is slightly longer as it is threaded to accept the short SIG-SD silencer, the silencer is attached only when CC isnt an issue. The round he uses is .40 +P JHP, 135gr flying at 1,400fps. The sig is an accurate and reliable weapon and the round it fires can do decent range. He keeps it inside a custom carbon fibre paddle holster.

Honeybadger .300 suppressed: The honeybadger is Chris's long arm of choice and its the one hes put the most rounds through. Its .300 blackout round was designed to be similar to a 7.62x39 russian and defeat bodyarmour in room clearing. Despite that it does have an effective range of about 300m. It comes with a silencer. When doing parkour with it chris can just about use it when its slung over his back before tiring too hard. He appreciates the ease of use of controls on the weapon. He has a number of ways to conceal the honeybadger but the best one is with the silencer taken off in a leather satchel. He keeps an assortment of both 20rd mags for concealment and 60rd quad stack mags that he uses.

Wicking suit X5. A bodysuit made to capture moisture from the body and recycle it via microtubes to cool the body. This has the dual effects of masking the body temperature to the ambient and providing a large source of cool water. Good for operations in desert terrain. It also has ballistic trauma plate inserts that provide a modicum of bullet protection to each area of the body. Its very flexible, light and can also be worn under clothing. Its moisture capturing feature allows it to also be reasonably watertight and can be used as a wetsuit.

IM1 throat mic. An i experimental British military internally mounted bionic throat microphone that can be connected by bluetooth to any mobile phone or computer.

Scio Spectrometer: A "Sixth sense" state of the art micro-spectrometer that absorbs light reflected from an object, breaks it down into a spectrum, and analyzes it to determine the object’s chemical makeup. Can recognise any substance in its database. Connects via an app on Chris's wrist computer. He keeps it on his belt at all times inside a black leather pager holder.

Mark one wrist computer. A small computer running windows 10 and an android application. mounted on the wrist which also contains mobile phone applications. It can do 3d maps and gps. Chris begged his father to get him one from a Dubai military tech tradeshow. It was made in America and cost an arm and a leg.

Read through this. A couple of points that I'd like to touch upon before this is accepted.

• Your personality is incredibly lacking in how Chris interacts with others. A lot of the personality is how Chris plays rugby and what he enjoys doing. These are moderately important, but other than a "good person" with a "stable personality," Chris doesn't really have much detail into what he actually feels inside. You know what I mean?
• Honestly, reading through, Chris feels like an unintentional mary-sue. He's totally stable, no visible flaws (other than bad teeth), and nothing that can really be considered a downside.
• Probably should have specified more in the intro, but S.P.I.G.A. is not a traditional school. They can't have a rugby team (not like there's any other spy academies they could compete against tbh) and there's already set classes you have to take. Not really your fault that I didn't specify this.

Name: Shiro Hikaru Yamazaki

Nickname/Alias: Shi works, if you’re too lazy for 2 syllables

Appearance: Standing at 5’7”, Shiro has a rather lithe but lean build, having put on muscle from an early age. He has notably pale skin and an epicanthic fold, with several small scars on his body, though nothing overly noticeable. He has shaggy and incredibly disheveled hair, jet black, which can never, ever, be tamed. His eyes are dark, dark brown, and always observant, like a hawk.

Personal Information

Personality: Shiro was taught from an early age to be respectful and mature, and respect and maturity are constantly exuded at all times. Shiro is very polite to others, especially teachers (but also students), though he doesn’t bow like a total stereotype. Shiro is also very punctual, and goes to lengths to ensure that everything is completed in due time. Shiro is a bit of a perfectionist, and constantly makes sure everything is constantly clean and in place, which is normally a good thing, unless it goes too far.

Shiro is not abnormally shy, but he is not the greatest with big crowds. Perhaps it’s because as a child he spent much of his time training alone, or because he’s worried he’ll screw up his english. He prefers smaller groups, not more than 4 other people, and would probably be considered an introvert. That being said, he does not freeze up with large groups and can communicate, at least.

Shiro is a very thoughtful and kind person, a caring student who is loyal and obedient to his peers. He's rather courageous and curious and is willing to adventure out to find things. Overall, he’s a very likeable individual.

Bio: Shiro’s family has long been composed of warriors and spies. The Yamazaki family was a long line of samurai in the early days of Japan, and later would become advisors to the Japanese government and military officials. Many of the members of the Yamazaki family had attended S.P.I.G.A., including Shiro’s father, Yoshi (not the dinosaur.) Shiro’s mother was a struggling business consultant living in a Tokyo apartment just above the poverty line. The two met by fate when a criminal attempted to mug Shiro’s mother. Yoshi intervened and saved her, and they began a relationship, where Shiro’s mother, Michie, learned about his job as a government agent. The two would eventually wed and have a child.

Shiro, said child, was trained by his father at a very young age in a variety of crafts, including martial arts, swordsmanship, and a variety of other crafts. Yoshi was a very strict educator and parent, but Michie’s more normal view kept him from going over the line. At age 14, Shiro was more talented than a majority of agents that did not attend S.P.I.G.A. Yoshi believed he was ready and signed him up to be sent off to the Academy.

Spy Information

Talents:

• Physical Prowess: Very fit for his age. He put on quite a bit of muscle training and is stronger and more agile than most people, but his true physical strength is his reflexes. He can react much faster than many other people.
• Master Swordsman: When it comes to using swords, there are few teenagers as talented as Shiro. Years of physical and reflex training have allowed him to use a blade highly effectively. Master in the art of iaido. Can’t deflect bullets though, rip.
• Expert Martial Artist: While his swordwork is more honed than his martial arts, Shiro is well-trained in aikido, a martial art that focuses on fluidity and blending with the attacker, and jiujitsu, which focuses on indirectly countering attacks. While those are the only two he’s well-versed in, he has a theoretical knowledge of many, many martial arts.
• First Aid: His knowledge of first aid is limited, but limited knowledge can save your life. He can patch up a wound OK.
• Memory: While not eidetic, Shiro’s memory is ridiculously good. Combined with rather keen observation, Shiro can recall details that others would have forgotten.
• Marksmanship: Definitely not a talented marksman, but at least he can aim decently and land a bullet with moderate accuracy. Not crazy for guns overall, though.
• Culinary Arts: A talented chef, Shiro has cooked for himself and his family and can make a meal out of about anything.

Gadgetry:

• Hand-Made Samurai Sword: A masterfully crafted blade, Shiro’s sword was built by one of the finest swordsmakers still around and is both sharp and durable. He puts a plastic case on it to make it non-lethal when necessary.
• Walter PK380: Carries this weapon in case the need for a firearm arises. Not seen often.
• Ballpoint Pen: It looks like a ballpoint pen. It IS a ballpoint pen. But the pen also contains two darts full of paralytic chemicals that can remove a person’s ability to walk in 2 minutes.
• GPS Tracker: A small device only the size of a ladybug, the device can track any individual anywhere across the globe and has a battery life of 1 week once activated. Pretty handy.
• Smartphone: A smartphone with lots of personal information on here. 2 separate passwords, fingerprint, and retinal scan required to access it. Has a very good, long-distance camera on it (unlike the potatoes that most phones these days have)
