Luke

He'd smelled it before Shizuka even ran past. "Sorry, Honey. Deliver those to Akira yourself. You two, stay back and protect the village." Luke commanded, send the two young pokemon a commanding glare. And then, he was off.

"I need every able bodied water pokemon and psychic pokemon to come with me. Children are to stay in the village with Aster. There is no time to lose. This fire may very well grow into something we can't handle." He yelled as he slide his way through the village, towards the source of the smoke. He wished that he had a way to quicken himself but he could only go so fast. However, for a snake like pokemon, he was pretty fast. He hopped and slid over hills and splashed into streams to get there as quickly as he could.

What seemed like hours went by as he finally got closer and saw Shizuka and Masa getting ready to attack the Ursaring. A scowl on his face, he quick as lightning lashed out his tail and picked up the two pokemon, getting cut by Masa in the process. "Children should stay in the village, you two. Head back. We can handle this." He told them, still glaring as fiercely as ever.

His eyes narrowed, he slid his ways towards the pokemon causing the distress, pushing away his own fear of fire. His glare was piercing and was enough to send even the mightiest of enemy running. Several of the Ursaring jumped in shock at Luke's sudden appearance and ran, but one dumbass continued to stare back at Luke.

Luke scoffed, a grin growing on his face. It'd been a while since he'd fought anyone. Still, with Shizuka and Masa behind him, he'd rather not. "Stand down." Luke barked, his nerves slowly affecting him as the fire slowly spread around him. Hopefully those water pokemon would get here soon.

"No. Fire is pretty. Want fire." It responded, clearly unintelligent. That was the reason it wouldn't back off. It literally didn't know any better. Luke let out a sigh, attempting to stall so that the water pokemon could arrive. He couldn't do much until them.

It was then that he noticed the Gallade standing nearby. He probably wouldn't be of too much use with the fire, but he could probably knock the brute out. Luke glared over at him and then looked at the Ursaring, making motions with his eyes at the Gallade.

Aster

Aster and Scorch were headed towards the village when he heard Luke calling out. Aster turned to see the smoke billowing out of the treeline and sighed.

"It seems the berries will have to wait." Aster spoke softly. He turned to Scorch with a soft smile and began to hum a soft tune. It was simple for Aster to project the tune towards the children of the village, avoiding the adults where he could. Slowly, they all began to fall asleep in their places, nice dreams soothing them.

He smiled as he turned to Scorch who was now sleeping soundly. Using his telekinesis, Aster moved Scorch to the Nursery Nest and then slowly did the same for all of the other children. When he was done, he counted them. A frown formed on his face as he realized he was missing a few. A quick teleportation and he'd found Shizuka and Masa at the scene of the fire. Without a word, he enveloped them and took them out, humming to them as they entered the Nursery nest.

"I'm certain they will all be mad at me about this later but, they will understand one day." He spoke softly, drifting off into the children's dreams himself.

Rin

He'd heard Luke and was racing towards the forest when the sleep came over him. "Ast...er..." He mumbled as sleep overcame him and dreamed of being the Alpha.
@HylianRose it's not that I hate Ursaring, I wanted Scorch and Slash to eventually meet each other, or at least pass by. They would be linked by the whole Ursaring problem.

Alright. :)

Incoming Luke blaming Akira for the fire in 3...2...1...

Luke:...the fuck did you do now, Akira?
Akira: For once, nothing.
Luke: Lies.
Akira: -burns down house-
"We're late..." Adalinda Jones spoke from behind her sister as they walked toward the docks. They still weren't even close to Riverside and the last ferry was off in the distance. With a dull expression on her face, Ada sighed. This was what Lorelei got for taking so damn long with her makeup. It would just rub off on the way there anyway.

"It'll be fine, Ada. You worry too much!" Lorelei called back to her sister as she paced down the docks, looking for a boat.

"You do realize what you're saying, right? That was the last ferry, Lorelei." Ada barked back, obviously frustrated with her sister.

"But there are plenty of other boats here!" Lorelei called out with a grin as she found her target, a nice looking elderly gentleman boarding his boat. "Oh, sir!" She called out, waving the white handkerchief in her hand quite daintily.

Within the next few minutes, Ada sat on the front of that man's yacht that smelled of smoke and hookers. Great. This was going great. What a genius Lorelei was. Ada sighed and rolled her eyes before turning away from the sight of Lorelei whispering things into that man's ears. She knew her sister did things like this to get what she wanted, but this was, surprisingly, the first time she'd actually seen such a... disgusting display. Was she really that desperate to get to this party? She didn't even know the guy that invited her.

Suddenly, Ada was getting a very bad feeling about this trip...

"Wow, you're such a good driver, Mr. Steve..." Lorelei told the man, her voice like honey spilling into his ears.

"W-Well... I've been driving for a long time, miss." He returned, smiling up at her. It wasn't too long before the lights of Riverside came into view. Lorelei grinned and raced off to the front of the boat.

"How beautiful!" She shouted, smiling down at her sister as if waiting for a response.

"It's... certainly that." Ada replied, sighing. The bad feeling just wasn't going away. She just knew Lorelei was going to get herself into trouble with some rich dude. Would she be able to save her?

"You can let us off on this dock over here, Mr. Steve! I can see someone holding up a sign for the party. It has to be it!" Lorelei shouted from the front of the boat, grinning like a schoolgirl. Even someone like Steve Cartwell couldn't very well say no to a face like that.

"Certainly, miss." He told her as he steered towards the docks. Even he found the docks to be rather mesmerizing. He hadn't seen them look like this is a long time. He had to wonder who's doing it was but before he could even ask, he was being pushed away by one of the helpers on the dock and asked to leave so that more boats could dock. Damnit, he didn't even get to ask that pretty girl for her number!

"Toodles, Mr. Steve!" Lorelei called out, giggling as if she'd just gotten away with some sort of grand prank. Ada simply rolled her eyes as she followed, her dress already getting on her nerves. She didn't know how Lorelei dealt with it. Maybe she just liked pain. Ada already wanted to take her high heels off.

They were greeted well and sent into a Marina where soft music was playing. There were already a few people here, talking and drinking wine. However, they'd seemed to arrive just in time as the ferry neared. Lorelei stood in the doorway of the Marina, her mouth agape as she stared at him.

"J-Jennings... Tay-Taylor!" She shouted before letting out a shrill screech that could bust any ear drum. Having heard him before entering the Marina, Ada had already covered her ears. She liked her hearing and took pride in it. Which was why she often fought her sister in the car to keep the volume low. Lorelei could not hear very well, whereas Ada had exceptional hearing. It was frustrating.

Even through her plugged ears, she could still hear Lorelei nearly hyperventilating as she rushed down the way, past the tables and wine, towards the ferry fast approaching. Ada uncovered her ears and sighed again. Lorelei was going to take five years of Ada's life away by simply being too excitable.

Lorelei was standing at the dock as the ferry docked, her eyes wide. She didn't care if there were other people here, Jennings was talking to her.

"My good friend Mister Acheson welcomes you all to his ball, and hopes you all will have the best night of your lives. So come aboard, allow me to serenade you, and enjoy the ride to Isle Potestas."

"Oh, you can do more than just serenade me..." Lorelei mumbled, a dreamy look in her eyes. She didn't even notice when her sister came up behind her and pulled her away.

"Lorelei, it's only fair that we let the people that were here before us board before us. Come on, let's go sit and wait for a bit. We'll board once a few of these people have gotten on." Ada told her, pulling her sister away from the boat kicking and screaming.

"NO, ADA. HE'S GOING TO SERENADE ME!" She shouted, twisting and moving as to try and break away from Ada's grip. It was fruitless though, Ada was simply too strong. Ada sat down in one of the many cushioned seats and pulled her sister into her lap, hugging onto her waist. It was the easiest way she knew to keep Lorelei where she wanted. However, she hadn't expected what happened next.

She felt the impact. One elbow to one jawbone. She could feel the shockwave it sent through her body and could feel her arms letting go of Lorelei as she bolted towards the boat. Ada looked in the direction the impact had forced her eyes, her mouth open from shock. She'd... She'd... SHE'D PAY FOR THAT! A sudden new rage boiled up in Adalinda's system as she quickly stood up from her seat and bolted in the direction of her sister, pushing people aside as she raced to keep up with her sister, all while she tasted the blood from the broken skin on the inside of her cheek.

"Lorelei Elizabeth Jones, you stop right there!" Ada barked, still trying to get past people without knocking them over in the process. "Stop being such a child!" She continued, clearly frustrated.

Lorelei could hear her sister calling for her, but she only had one thing on her mind. Jennings Taylor. She skidded to a halt as she came to the seat just before his stage and he was already singing sweat and soft music. Her mind melted as she, herself, melted into a seat. She didn't even see her sister coming until it was too late. Adalinda rushed into Lorelei, knocking her and the chair she was in over as she tackled her to the ground.

"Snap out of it! This is what you get for elbowing me! See, I'm bleethin!" She shouted at her sister, pulling her mouth open to show her the tear on the inside of her cheeks. Suddenly, Lorelei was laughing, still pinned by her sister.

"It's been a long time since I've gotten you that mad, Ada." Lorelei spoke, grinning up at her now exasperated sister. Ada sighed and slide off of Lorelei. She blinked when she realized the music had stopped and Jennings was currently staring down at the both of them.

"Well, it looks like I helped you after all." Ada told her, chuckling.

"Seems that way." Lorelei replied, giggling as she jumped up to hug her sister. "This trip is for you and me. You've been getting so distant so I figured this would be perfect to get us back together again."

"Distant? What are you talking about?" Ada asked as the music started back up.

"It's nothing. Come on. Let's go see what they have at the bar." Lorelei jumped up, already headed for the bar.

"Wait, we aren't old en-... Oh whatever." Ada called out, finally giving up as she got up and walked after her sister.

The IC Post is now up. Everyone needs to get at least 1 post in by Wednesday August 5th. There is no post order. If everyone gets 1 post in prior to the date, I will probably post again to move the story along. Anyone not posting in this time will be assumed to no longer be in the story.

@Zendrelax - You have this time to post your CSs and have them approved AND post. Should you fail to do this, you will not be in the story.

PS The band/singer I mentioned is not real, and is made up for the sake of this story.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to ask here or in PM.

Much deadline.
Very strict.
Ahhh.

but nah. It's not hard to get a post out now.
butstill, scary sempaaai. ~

-runs to read post-

Edit: Apologizes for the long ass post. Before I knew it, it had gotten pretty long...
@AbysmalDemon There's a fire? -looks over at Akira- Sure, they can be headed that way.

Edit: You have a thing about Ursaring, don't you? That and, starting your characters OUTSIDE of the village. The point was to have your characters start inside the village with the majority already knowing each other. This whole, "I just hope he doesn't make me join the group. I hate groups." will literally kill off your character in the worst way possible by putting him in a 'can't do anything with him' interaction lock. Don't do that to Scorch, I like Scorch. But I'm also kind of tired of the numbers of pokemon Luke needs to convince to join the village growing. So ye.

There's my two cents on those two problems. If it's one thing I don't like, it's anti-social characters in an RP that's meant to be social. Buuut, I'll roll with the punches. I won't like it, but I'll roll with them. And, next time you decide to do something so drastic next to the village, at the very least, warn me ahead of time? As the GM, I don't mind the plot being driven by characters, but I atleast like to know about it to say yay or nay on.

...That's all. o-o;
When are people heading to Europe?

Good question.
History changed

*Name: Slash

*Gender: Male

*Age: 12

Defining Features: Shiny

*History: Gallade was a Pokemon put on Pharros by Prof. Oak. He was given a stone to hold, and it combined with him, making him feel a strong feeling whenever oak was around, but it didn't do anything. (<-- Mega Stone) His family lived in a nest, 5 miles from the village. At this time the Kirlia didn't know there was a village. A pack of wild Tauros lost control, and charged into their nest, killing his mother and father. He was then alone, in the woods, next to a cave. He decided to bury their bodies. He took them to a soft patch of dirt in the cave, and buried them there. As he walked back, he noticed a strange stone, and he picked it up. As soon as it touched him, it began glowing with radiance, and he evolved.

Personality: He is sad, his parents died, and he's lost in the woods, with no idea that there is a village. He is secluded from everyone, and everything, hating all Pokemon, because he thinks they're all monsters for things that they've done. Now his mega almost never works since he's afraid of nothing, nor pumped for anything.

Seems fine! Feel free to move him over. :)
Jonathan

He jumped as the woman in question opened the door. He turned back around to send the white haired woman an awkward grin.

"Are you applying as an apprentice, or are you here just to waste my time?"

"Ahhh..." Jonathan began, a confused expression on his face. "I suppose both?" He answered her, though it sounded more like a question than an answer. It would be nice to be her apprentice. Much nicer than being his brother's lacky. "Actually, no. As far as you consider it, I might just be wasting your time. In fact, I'm probably wasting both of our times. But trust me, I'm not here to... doing anything bad. Mind... if I just talk?" He asked. However, realizing what her answer might be, he added, "You can continue working while we talk. I'll even help if you need me to. I'm fairly good at being a lacky/dog. Just... let me stay here for a bit at the very least so my brother thinks I'm doing something productive."

And there it was. He didn't care what her answer was to his questions but he desperately wanted to be away from his brother much longer than he had been. This way, he wouldn't come after him if he thought he was doing something productive, right? When he called, he'd tell him he was working on it. Oh, please... Let this girl let the poor Jonathan in!

The Presentation of the Butterfly Princess

The Imperial Palace Celebration Hall

It was nearing the end of the celebration and Chokan was smiling and laughing with a young woman from another kingdom who had come to visit him. As a bachelor, he had many unwed princesses pinning for his proposal. Cho sat nearby, her head low, staring at the floor.

Have we really sunk so low? Cho thought sourly as she brought her head up and looked around the room. Just an hour ago, she'd been brought out and pushed into the middle of the room where the Emperor waited with a smile on his face. He'd introduced her with a smile to those in the hall and then...

She shivered at the thought of his hand at the low of her back pushing her towards the balcony. With a loud booming voice, he announced to those citizens waiting outside of his capture of the Butterfly Princess. The crowd roared back in applause. She could still hear the sounds of the people chanting his title.

She swallowed as she watched the people danced and turned to look up at Chokan who currently had more than 5 princess surrounding him all dressed to kill. A quick sigh escaped her lips as she rolled her eyes.

"My, My... Such a sigh from one as beautiful as you? You'll age yourself by 10 years!" He shouted, a grin on his face as he looked past the girls before him at Cho.

"You and I know very well that I do not age, Chokan." She returned, her words holding a certain bite to them. He let out a small chuckle before motioning with his hand for several maids to come to him. They came quietly, afterall, they'd long since had their tongues cut out, not that it was Chokan's doing.

"Please take our lovely Princess to her room. It seems the celebrations bore her. Perhaps some isolation will cure her of that." He told them and turned his head back to the women in front of him with a smile.

Cho sighed once again and rolled her eyes as she raised herself from the floor herself, shooing the hands of the maids away. With her head held high and her hands placed delicately at her front waist, she walked on, motioning for the girls to take lead, and they did. She stared on despite the glances given to her, both the jealous ones from the females and some males and the lewd ones from the men and women that fancied her type. Still, her dress, unlike the other women, was not as promiscuous. In fact, it was what she'd been wearing when he found her and the dress itself identified who she was. It was laid with magic from the spirits and protected her in most cases though it had failed her in her attempt to escape the Emperor. It just showed how arrogant she had become. She'd let herself get too close because of her many years of successful evasion.

She reached the room with more speed than she'd meant and the maids bowed as the door was opened for her to enter. A nasty look grew on her face as she looked at the room. It had open windows that showed the other side of the palace and the mountain in the distance. It reminded her of a birdcage and only managed to fans the flames of her anger. She sighed and stepped inside, having realized her own situation. This... wasn't bad. She was okay. She shouldn't let her temper get the better of her again. This was probably that person's test for her. She chuckled as the maids closed the door and left. She walked over to the seat by the window and sat down to stare out at the evening sky. It was still a beautiful purple as the sun was finishing it's decent.

Yes, it was definitely a test from that person. She needed to stay calm and focus on her work. There was probably plenty she could do from the palace. Plenty power she held here... She sighed again. This wouldn't be easy. She needed to gain his confidence and stay by his side. She needed to be able to work for the palace and heal as many people as she could manage. That was the easiest way...

"Give me strength, my love." She spoke, her voice barely a whisper as she looked up at the stars as they slowly appeared in the night sky.
