"Ho? Space, you say?" Juno smirked. Perhaps Henry didn't heard her introduction, or was just being his usual self-centered, arrogant prick, but if he wanted to brag about spatial powers, the Snake of the World would be more than glad to remember he who was the master of all space and gravity.

The sword that Henry stole would turn to be a veritable Trojan horse. With a snap of Juno's fingers, the blade returned to it's original form, undoing the highly compressed layers of void that made up the entirety of Raison d'Être. The blast of expanding space inside of Henry's gate caused its walls to tear apart thanks to the sheer amount of energy liberated by Raison d'Être's burst.

The tears vomited the contents of the Gate of Tartarus' bowels into the ground earth beneath them, Juno's powers working like a bar lock that forbid the fissures from being closed, no doubt to Henry's great frustration but, Juno wasn't done yet. To rub salt on the wound, Juno threw an unstable black hole inside of the Gate, torching a good portion of Henry's goods, before they could even leave their storage.

Death may be cheap on the Nexus, but that kind of aggravated insult could very well last forever within one's mind. Juno knew that all too well and the smile of satisfaction on her face made it quite clear. "Next time, think twice before placing a blade made to cut through spatial barriers, inside of a pocket dimension." Seemed to be written all over her face.

Given that she was outside of the range of Endian's Dimensional Anchor, Juno teleported to over Henry's head and fell, letting the gravity add power to the roundhouse kick she aimed at him, only to disappear a fraction of a moment before making contact and rematerialize behind Henry, to avoid his silver barriers with her agility.

If the kick connected, the strength of it would be enough to send Henry flying and burrow him on the rocky side of Alt Signia.

Diana
Current Location: Alt Signia, The Forge

"Ghh!" Diana gasped as the wind was knocked out of her by Bastion's elbow hit. Her mind was still dizzy when the events of the fight turned all too crazy all of a sudden and then, the world turned upside down.

It took a few moments for Diana to make out the she was under Bastion's aim, while Torag, Suparna and Bastion were locked in a stand-off. How did such a simple mission turned so chaotic? To make it worse, Alt Signia was rambling stronger than before. But, if Bastion's machine's slowed the meltdown of the lava core, what was causing those rumbles? Did something catastrophic happened on the battlefront?

Either way, Diana didn't had much time to think. Torag was proposing a sort of truce and Diana had no reason to not go along with it fo the time being. If they could avoid the need to kill everyone here it would be much to her liking than any other victory at the spence of people's lives.

"I-I can stop the eruption for good... If you promise me that you will keep your word. Otherwise everyone here will lose." Diana said out between groans, as the dizziness began to leave her head slowly.

"Commander Hibiki, this is Dawnbreaker. According to my calculations the charges you have won't be able to make it, unless you place then by the inner core, otherwise you'll just cause the lava flow to leak before the rupture point is reached." Eos replied to Hibiki's first question pausing for a moment.

"Thermal readings indicate that the temperature of the inner core is close is close to 3.000 degrees, absolute scale. The internal pressure is of 5 atmospheres." After another moment of pause, Eos added. "Structural analysis indicates that there must be a control rod, probably made of thermoresistant material that can shutdown the heat to bearable levels and reestablish the power to Point Hephaestus. That's all the information I have at the moment. Proceed with caution."

Following that, Eos contacted all the Machina units engaged with the Angels on the outside of Alt Signia. "Attention, all Units. If the Snake of the World is not incapacitated before the remaining Angels have the chance to storm Point Hephaestus, all out efforts in this conflict will come to naught. Forge a truce with our enemies if need be. Given that Unit Krieg has been impaired mentally, command will be given to Marquis. Killing the target is highly unlikely to happen, but if you inflict a crippling wound, she is bound to retire from the battle."

Meanwhile, Miyu would come into one more choice on her quest through the tunnels of Alt Signia, a fork on the path, one end bound to take her to the core where Hibiki and Tatiana were at this very moment and the other higher up, to the forges, where the stand-off that might as well decide the future of this battle was taking place.

Which route would she choose, in her delirious state?

@Mega Birb

Sliske is cool, or should I say hot? Either way he's ok.

Which makes me think. If Victoire were to pick a sin for herself, would it be pride, lust?
@Lord of Evil

I think your post is the best thing to have ever happened in this RP.

Third'ed. That was seriously hilarious. I guess Dana finally found her natural rival.
Chronicles of Aquaria

--"A long time ago, the gods and the mortals lived in harmony, they inhabited a city known by the name of Aquaria, the Seat of the Gods. Built over a lake that spans as far as the eye can see, close to the mysterious floating lands of Arcadia, Aquaria was a one of kind place of adventure and mystery.

It's within this unique place that this story will be told. Are you ready to take part on it?"

Overview

Aquaria was the second most important settlement, the greatest trade hub, known for its extensive book and commodities trading, and the most culturally advanced city of an empire that spammed most of the known world. However, after the a long story, the empire fell to little but scraps, yet Aquaria remained firm. The biggest city-state of remaining world, Aquaria holds a veritable trove of mysteries and adventures within itself.

It's no surprise that many adventurers never leave the comfort of the city walls, after all the city they live is full of areas to be explored. These stories will focus mostly on these adventurers.
World & People

Given its role as a major trade and cultural hub, Aquaria is home to a plethora of people from all backgrounds, races and professions. However, the large majority of the native population is composed of humans and elves, a spiritually powerful race of exclusively feminine beings endowed with fox-like ears and tail. Elves were much longer lived than humans but, given their single gender, they could only produce off spring with humans and that any male coming from such a union will be human; over the time the average life expectancy of an Aquarian born citizen became of around 150 years. Even then, elves can easily reach the early 200's.

With such a long lived populace, it's expected that Aquaria would become a cultural hub and it's. Aside from being known as the City of Water, Aquaria is also known as the City of Books. Literacy is taken seriously in Aquaria and most people have a hobby of reading. In fact, Aquaria's Grand Library is world's biggest library; said to be so vast that no one knows for sure the exact number and content of all the tomes there stored. Expeditions to isolated sectors of the Grand Library are common with adventurers seeking rare and otherwise forgotten lore.

It's not only of literature that Aquarian culture lives. Arts and music are also a major cultural asset. In fact, It's common place to name children after artistic related themes, music in special is very appreciated as a source of names, in honor of one of the city's greatest heroes of times long past, the elven knight Arianna "Aria", also known as the Knight of Gales. Education is also rather high quality. The University of Aquaria, attached to the Grand Library, is perhaps the last center of education of its level on the otherwise savage world, receiving visitors of all places on its Halls of Learning.

When it comes to politics, Aquaria is an advanced place as well. Aquaria is ruled by a council of representatives composed of five thirteen members chosen from the various social classes of the city, each with a decade long non-hereditary term of office and administered by a High Queen that holds the executive powers withing the city. The Queen title is hereditary and the royal family is composed primarily of elves descended of the knights of legend, Arianna and Sedril.

Lastly, but not least, let us not forget that Aquaria is also a city of adventure and of commerce. Everyday its bustling streets and markets get filled with people bargaining all kinds of goods from all places. There's an old saying that goes by: "You can see more of the world staying a day in Aquaria than in a lifetime of travel." In many ways it's not wrong. The city is also bustling with adventurers, who congregate in Aquaria's many adventuring guilds, which are further united under the banner of one of the two major adventurer leagues, the Wind Harpists and the Water Cartographers.
Mystery & Magic

Magic is an arcane force that exists all over the world and permeates every living being. Magic can be used to conjure and manipulate the Greater Elements (Fire, Water, Air or Wind, Earth, Light and Darkness or Shadow). All magic is composed of manipulation and combination of those elements, but given that magic is an expression of the soul of each individual, there are no two completely equal mages. Even if some basic spells can be learned by everyone, all mages have a unique expertise, though it's more likely that those who share blood bounds will have similar expertize.

All living beings (and some non-living ones as well) are capable of magic, but not everyone practices it. In order to perform the mystical arts a strong will to reshape reality to meet one's internal view is needed. All mages are capable of manipulating all of the Greater Elements. However are at their best when dealing with their Elemental Alignment and can't really draw any power from the ones opposite to their alignment.

Like with magic, all beings are born with an Elemental Alignment one of the Greater Elements, rarely will be born someone with two different alignments as long as they aren't opposite to one another. Even more rare are those who practice Spirit Arts, that is, they are bound by a contract to the Spirits --sometimes called fairies-- of the land granting them powers similar in nature to magic but that come from their aptitude to channel their Spirit's power. One can't use both normal magic and Spirit Arts at the same time, having a Spirit contract seals you ability to use normal magic as the Spirit uses their Master's mana to sustain themselves.

When it comes down to it, the main difference between normal mages and Spirit users is that the first use their own mana to power their spells, leading to a burn out sensation and eventually increasing fatigue from prolonged usages of magic. Spirit users channel power from their Spirits, which i turn do channel it from the land itself, meaning that no fatigue is incurred for magic usage, but the Spirits need rest to recharge their energies and while they are dismissed, their users' power is greatly diminished. The only exception to this are the Elves, who can channel magic directly from the land just like Spirits do, meaning that elves never run out of magic power or get tired from spell casting. Lastly, Spirit Users are generally capable of greater feats than normal mages, but are restricted to the elements their Spirits can manipulate.

Aquaria is also a land of mysteries, full of ancient ruins and barely known even for those who live into it. Really a place of boundless possibilities where the limits to one's adventures tends only to be as big as their ambition, or courage.

(max. of three moderate sized paragraphs, or around 2000 characters. Don't do anything too poor but also don't go over this limit, please)
Final Word

Thanks for reading up to now --If you are reading this I guess I can assume it, right?--, this is a long standing idea for a high fantasy, anime inspired setting that I have, or better, part of said setting.

As you can see what I came up with is more of a scenario than a premade campaign --Any tabletop player would know what I mean by that--, so this setting has the space to accommodate various stories and will get constructed and expanded as that is done.

For the initial adventure I have in mind, I'm looking for a relatively small group (4~8 players) mostly up for a dungeon crawl style game. If that interests you, don't hesitate to drop by and discuss, maybe leave a CS. And if you would rather be interested in other kinds of stories, political intrigue, cloak and dagger, etc., you can leave a suggestion as well. I'm always up for ideas.

-- Thank again and have fun,

KoL.
By the way, in order to keep things clear for the next battle, I'll give an updated version of Victoire's CS. Notice, she had not grown any stronger, I just went through the trouble of breaking down her skill set. I hope you like it:

Victoire Bordeaux

"If this world is nothing but a breeding pen, I'll be sure to turn all who dwell on it into my bitches."

Name: Victoire Bordeaux.
Title: The Blood Countess.
Age: Unknown, but certainly she's not much older than she looks.
Gender: Female.
Allegiance: Demons of Hell.
Race: Half-vampire (Primordial)/Succubus.
Height: 172 cm.
Weight: 68 kg.

Bio

Personality:
To most, Victoire may appear to be cold and uncaring as well as an egotistical and cruel sadist, to the point of being hard to not label her as textbook a sociopath. While this stands true nine tenths of the time, Victoire is also capable of some rare moments of mercifulness, mostly when the act pleases her somehow there by, she is most certainly not being selfless in anything that she does.

History:
Victoire's origins, like many other of the Nexus' inhabitants, are hard to trace. It's known that she wasn't born there but, instead she came answering the summons of the self-aware plane and coming to inhabit a massive estate close to the border between the Demon Realm and the Human Realm where a blood red moon decorates the perpetual night sky forever.

Once upon a time, the Countess took notice of an Angelic congregation built for humans and lesser demons who had being converted by the heavenly pests, being built on the outskirts of her domains close to a village that she had tolerated for far longer than she really should, mainly for the constant source of food it presented, and took action to wipe such an unsightly wart off of her doorstep.

After dispatching all of the vermin polluting her sight, with extreme prejudice, Victoire found herself attracted to a low grumble as well as the sounds of struggle coming from behind the altar. There she found a werewolf, bound by chains of gleaming silver to the idol. Just as Victoire stared blankly at the eyes of the enraged beast, set for sacrifice, the horns of the heavenly reinforcement sent to get rid of her rang loud. Lifting her right hand to meet the werewolf's face, filling his vision with her rose-shaped ring, Victoire said words that she thought she would never use:

-- "I'll give you a choice. Pledge your loyalty to me and live or, die and be forgotten..."

The beast's answer goes without saying as he did his one final effort to bite the chains holding him, to the point of drawing blood just to kiss his savior's ring, sealing the pact. As a proof of his pledge, a mark shaped like a choker of rose vines on his throat, marking the beast forever as Victoire's servant.

And the rest, as is said, is history...

Combat

Powers:
Owing to her origins as well as her practice of other forms of magic to improve herself, Victoire has an impressive array of powers. Some of the most used/iconic are described bellow, but this is by no means all of Victoire's repertoire. Usually she can draw at least one spell per battle that she has never used before as long as it is kept within her thematic.

-- Vampire Powers: Undying and unaging, undead immunities, blood sense, dark vision, improved senses, minor shapeshifting, hypnotic gaze, control over her domain, primordial heritage (resistance to all common vampire weaknesses, except holy powers), blood healing.

-- Succubus Powers: Moderate shapeshifting, lust sense, mind reading, dream walking, telepathy, illusionism, emotion control.

-- Rose Magic: Summon Demon Roses, crushing vines and roots, razor petals, create rose thralls, parasitic roses, corrosive perfume, hallucinogenic perfume, aphrodisiac perfume, blooming teleportation (can teleport to anywhere inside one of her rose fields as long she's touching it on both ends of her travel).

-- Blood Magic: blood control, blood destruction, corrosive blood, hemokinesis, blood form, summon monsters (in conjunction with Shadow Magic), blood portals (Can open two ended portals adjacent to living beings, special types of undead or back to her domains. One of the ends must always be adjacent to Victoire. Only viable targets can cross the portals, including Victoire).

-- Shadow Magic: Summon shadows, summon monsters (along with Blood Magic), induce fear/panic, attacking shadows, create shadow blades, shadow jaunt (turns into a swarm of incorporeal shadow bats that can move to anywhere with shadows large enough to cover at least half of Victoire's body. This power can't be used to travel between areas isolated from one another by daylight or bright light sources. While in shadow swarm form, these sources of light hurt Victoire, causing her great pain and forcibly ending the spell).

Weapons:
-- Leviathan: Victoire cast aside her corrupted whip. Now she wields a set of finely wrought silver chains with weighted ends that seem to have a life of their own, brimming with the power of the legendary Serpent of the Abyss. These chains that Victoire received as present once made part of the hoard of her favorite draconic pet.

Leviathan does not only look like, but in fact, it has a life of its own, they can change shape and length at-will, defending Victoire without the need for her to command them. Leviathan can seek and capture targets ordained by its mistress no matter how far they are, as long as Victoire has the means to locate them, even interdimensional barriers won't detain Leviathan.

Equipment:
-- Ring of Roses: A special signet ring owned by Victoire, it does amplify all of her powers, but it's true usage is to force anyone that kisses it, willingly or not, into complete obedience to Victorie. The ring's curse actually doesn't rob the will of its targets but, instead places a mark on their body and soul, dare they defy the terms established by Victorie upon their pledge, the mark turns into a wreath of rose vines, killing them slowly and in a very painful way.

The rate of growth of the vines is directly proportional to the breach in the pledge and only a command from Victoire can cause the vines to recede or lift the curse altogether. Depending on the terms of the pledge, it can even last past a recipient's death and possible resurrection, making Victoire's ring a truly dreadful instrument since it can potentially trap a target that defied her to a great extent in an eternity of endless agony that even the relief of death cannot undo.

Misc

Other: Nothing important at the moment, except that Bastion and Diana will forever be her bitches.

@Lonewolf685

Trash-chan would be the best maid of them all.
I finally caught up with the IC. I'll post something up to this Wednesday.
Well, this place exploded with activity while I went to sleep. I'll see what I can do in a few moments. I have to catch up with the IC first.
Posted!

Either way, I wouldn't worry about establishing a pace so early on. To all my long lasting RPs this kind of happened on its own. It seems to be the nature of how RPs work, as long as you have a group willing to stay, you'll end up falling within a "comfort zone" that works better for everyone.
Seyrun Leviathan

Tamamo's dejected expression surprised Seyrun. In fact, the way how her Servant's ears drooped down all of a sudden was a clear indication that something had affected Tamamo on an emotional level but; what was it?

"My, my, how blunt can I be sometimes. It's quite obvious indeed." Seyrun put the phone back on the pocket it came from. As she turned to face Tamamo and offer apologies for allowing curiosity to take over her once again as well as failing to be able to meet whatever expectations Tamamo seemed to have of her, Seyrun noticed how the fox-eared spirit stared at one of the incoming Servants.

A woman clad in robes of the utmost finery and wearing a masks whose details look suspiciously similar to those of the mirror Tamamo had, huh? That could be interesting.

Nevertheless, before Seyrun could say anything regarding this situation, Tamamo raised a toast, the shaky words coming out of her mouth made Seyrun recall her previous blunders. Where she any other Servant, or if this was a normal Holy Grail War, Seyrun might as well as been dead now, killed by her own summon for failing to pay the due respect Heroic Spirits demanded.

"To our long lasting relationship. Let it be forever while it lasts."

Seyrun replied the toast, taking a measured sip from her glass. Holding it with both hands resting over her lap, Seyrun looked in Tamamo's eyes and said, "I apologize for my ignorance towards your origins and native culture. In fact, the name Tamamo no Mae is a total mystery for me, not because you do not deserve to be idolized as much as the great legends of the West, but because I'm an inept Master. Please, allow me to beg your pardon for letting my curiosity best me once more. Everyone has the right to have secrets, I recognize your legend might not reflect the truth of your life. I promise I'll not look even one more word into it, until you want to share it with me."

With that said, Seyrun dislodged one of the hands that were resting over her thighs and rested it over Tamamo's shoulder, feeling the softness of her Servant's skin. "Now then, let us enjoy this brief reprieve before we are thrown in the chaos of war?"

Atalanta

"Hmph..." Atalanta scoffed at the mention of mathematics, that futile passion the Athenians were so haughty about. Either way she set those thoughts aside the moment Keisuke mentioned some form of complement to the treat that was this apple pie, which Atalanta held whole in her hands.

Nevertheless, Atalanta remained vigilant even while indulging in the pleasure of feasting to her heart's content. There was no sound that could escape her ear, no smell her nose couldn't discern and detail her eyes couldn't see. The ones that called for more of her attention in particular were, the gathering of the children Servants Atalanta had been focusing her attention into for a long time now and, the shift Nature of the the talk between the horribly stinking Master who let out those cockroach familiars Atalanta noticed, but decided to not do anything about --in fact, even now Atalanta felt enervated by the sound of the scuttling pests under that man's garb-- and the Master of Assassin.

"Those two are plotting something, you shouldn't let you guard down." Atalanta whispered to Keisuke in a very bitter voice. "This will be no different from the Calcydonian hunt, or the Argo. Men will never change, no matter the times, they are always greedy bastards." Atalanta's voice was so bitter with memories of her past, remembering how, even during a gathering of individuals united for a common cause there's always those far too willing to jeopardize it for personal gains. The way some of the other Masters plotted and schemed before even their expedition began made it far too clear.

Anyway, Atalanta's expression was still stuck in a biter sulk as she reached for the ice cream thing that Keisuke mentioned even a moment ago, noticing how it was cold and exhaled a sweet taste. Almost like freshly driven snow mixed with milk and honey. She pretty much dropped a full pot over her pie, watching was it melted when in contact with the hot pastry. "!!!" The sound that came from Atalanta's throat as soon as she took quite a generous bite of the dessert couldn't be described as nothing but a shocked gasp. The feline Servant's tail and ears stood straight like bolts hurled by Zeus' mighty hand as she eyed Keisuke with wide gleaming eyes.

"Wha- what might this be? Did modern humans learned the recipe of the Gods' Feast?" Atalanta made an effort to remain stoic, even though it was clear that, inside she was all but melting herself in pleasure. With senses as acute as Atalanta's a treat such as that one was nothing but divine. And her joy was quite visible on the way slow way with which Atalanta ate the ice cream topped pie, as if she wanted to savor it, instead of the feral devouring she was doing at the boar from earlier.

Diarmuid Ua Duibhne

"Allow me to apologize for my manners, milady. I'm not one used to this kind of generosity." Diarmuid replied as he eyed Medea, taking a good look at her figure. A Mage from the Age of the Gods, huh? What kinds on mysteries would this woman be able to conjure, especially if she claimed to be able to undo Diarmuid's curse, which had been laid unto him by the Gods themselves? Well, there was only one way of knowing.

"Will you need for us to go to a more retired place so you can concentrate on your magic, milady? I'm willing to follow you for the time being, given that my Liege raised no objections." They were allies after all, this much degree of suspicion could as well spoil their chances of fighting together in the future, which Diarmuid obviously couldn't allow to happen. Thus he waited, for Medea's instructions.
