✾ 𝙻𝚊𝚍𝚢 𝙰𝚋𝚜𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚊 Keep moving forward ۩━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned. Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol. ⚘ Looking Inside ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it. Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Alicia snorted as she covered her mouth the back of her hand as she witnessed her roommates reaction to her fathers little culinary concoction. She wasn't surprised that the heat of the dish hadn't bothered Lorna, the woman had to be used to Alicia's cooking by now; if not then she hid it well. Granted they did keep heartburn medication on standby but that was like keeping dinner mints in anyone elses home. They popped them like candy. Dropping her hand she smirked towards Lorna. "Calm yo titties Cookies, next time try not shoving the whole thing in your mouth like you were trying to down a country sausage link," she laughed before darting off with her father and Tank; motioning for them to follow her. She as not going to be in the path at any chucked at her for that comment. She didn't even look back to see the expression on Lawson's face, she didn't need to. She could picture it clearly enough in her own mind and it made her cackle. Round one to Taco Queen.
"Sure thing Papi, person one. Lawson, the country meat Cookie is wanting to take a bit out of. Person two, Tank here," she said motioning over towards the man who was parking his bike on her patio. At her fathers question she shrugged lightly. "Just trying to be friendly, don't worry, he does anything you know I can handle it," she said reassuring her father as she wrapped an arm around his shoulder and gave him a slight squeeze. Her father was protective, she knew that, but she also knew he knew that she could take care of herself. He had trained her well but even with that knowledge she doubted that helped with Papi's concern. He was a dad after all, it just came with the territory she suspected.
Looking over towards Tank she nodded. "Sure, I got some more food inside, wouldn't mind if you came in and helped get it out here for the crew while Papi and I finish off the last pan to go into the oven. Would be helpful," she said as she stepped into her apartment and looked around; smirking as she watched the landlord shampooing her couch.
"I added one more thing on the list you gave him to do," she said looking over to her father before pointing over to the trays of food on the kitchen counter. "Those can go outside, the taquitos are in the fridge Papi, just toss them in the oven," she added as she looked over at the now open space in front of her couch where her table used to be. Letting out a short huff she placed her hands on her hips and looked back over to her father, the man owed her one coffee table.
Grabbing a beer the detective popped the cap off of it and flicked it between his thumb and index finger; sending it flying into the back of the head of one of the reporters. "Damn green blooded hobgoblins. I am a fucking detective, not some reality show star," he muttered between his clenched teeth when he was asked by Jeremy if he liked the press or not. Taking a long pull from his drink and smirking as the reporter he hit spun around rubbing the back of his head. He shrugged his shoulders innocently enough before looking back over to the man that was addressing him.
"All they want is a story. Isn't enough that last time we had a suicide, they just want to see how much more pain they can inflict on these people for their ratings. People like them and that god damn ginger burn out Regina Eilheart cause more trouble because of their stories than any mugger ever did on the streets," he grumbled before shaking his head.
Taking a closer look at the man, he didn't recognize him. He wasn't living here when Peyton was murdered, Roy would have remembered that, he interviewed everyone right after it happened. "And you are?"

@Caits No worries, thanks for letting me know ^^ I know Nal will be getting a post up this evening, least she said she would. >.> (So she better lol :P) But don't worry about it, if it comes down to a major event, as if a hoard on our asses wasn't one, I'll bunny you just down the road to keep your character with out until you are able to post but I doubt that will even be an issue.
