Keep moving forward ۩
⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Amy Chang

Location: Heading Towards The Hospital --> The ER
Interacting With: Idiots and @Sohtem

Amy was glad that she had her bat in hand because the crowds outside were being a pain in the ass. "You won't have to worry about a second coming because take one step closer and the sound of my bat hitting a home run on your skull is the last thing you will hear before you meet your fucking maker," Amy spat out at yet another person trying to get into her face, calling her a yellow devil. Her bat swung warning the man before he jumped back, another swing as he stepped closer. She didn't care if she crushed his skull at this point. That whole oath she had taken was flying right out the window. She had meant what she said but she wasn't exactly trying to rack up a death count right then, so she opted for another piece of him. His knee and once more swing, this time low since he was expecting a head shot and he was on the ground; rolling around grabbing the now shattered cap and screaming in agony.

"Oh dear...Did I do that? Well fuck me. Someone get the man an egg roll and a fortune cookie," she said rolling her eyes before running passed him and leaving them there. If they brought him into the ER and he ended up being her patient she would laugh her ass off.

Stepping into the Er she looked around, the place was a clusterfuck and she cursed under her breath; the place was a mad house. Placing her fingers between her lips she let out a long and high pitched whistle. "Cut the fucking panic and get back to work," she yelled towards the staff as she twirled her bat around in her hand before it came to rest on her shoulder.

Making her way over towards Sorreast she perked a brow looking at the woman. "Fucking christ, I swear they come in all shapes and sizes but I wasn't expecting a look a like to be in my hospital," she said looking at the woman. She looked nearly identical to a doctor that had been under her in San Francisco not too terribly long ago. Doctor Natasha Brinne, an ER Trauma Surgeon but this woman couldn't be her. This woman looked to be a few years older and the last she had heard Natasha was in Jaipur India working at the Apex Hospital there. She had to wonder if shit was going as bad there as it was here.

Shaking off the thought she looked at Hanson as he started to ramble and rolled her eyes. "Well isn't this just a a bat fucked scenario. Had people coming back from the dead, hearts falling from the sky and now this shit. You know what, they don't pay us enough. I'm half tempted to just torch him to see what happens."

Atticus Pearson

Location: Dining Room

Atticus looked over towards Lionel as he came in and chuckled a bit at the mans words. “And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.” he said rather nonchalantly. How many bible verses did the man have standing on deck? Only god knew. He couldn't help but looked over towards Dorthy, grinning brightly that he had managed to put yet another verse into the conversation. He prided himself in his ability to quickly pump them out in the middle of the ordinary daily activities, especially when he knew how much they irked the doctor.

Then things changed and the radio crackled. "Fucking Christ," he spat as he showed his hand. He had a full house drawn straight from the deck. There went the bible lesson right then. It was not often that anyone in the ship made a little call like that, especially not when it came from their resident badass. Rising from his place he moved quickly out of the dining room and into his own personal quarters, retrieving his colt and making sure the ammo was fully stocked in it before giving it a little spin and rushing back out.

Making his way out of his room he headed to the entrance to the cargo bay, weapon pointed down towards the ground and looking around carefully. He couldn't see outside of the ship yet but he spotted Camilla standing there near the entrance, hunkered down as if she was waiting for something and didn't want anyone on the other side to see her. Slipping along the wall he made his way over to her and gave her a questioning look. The sounds from outside could be heard, the Captain and another talking and it didn't seem like it was a friendly conversation. Things were about to get ugly.

Jahosafat Moreau

Location: Barber Shop Aka The Foy'er

Jahosafat grinned broadly towards his old friend. "That you do my good man. The things I have heard about this Captain, well let me just say they are spectacular! My dear sweet Camilla has told me much about the man. Truly an interesting specimen if half of what she states is true and not just the clouded mind of a love scorned filly. I dare say, the change and his decent into what he is now is a tale for the ages. I do want to see how he reacts to the news that I bring. It will be most educational."

The ebony gentleman could not help but chuckle as Foy filled him in on the current staff members and nodded in a appreciation of the information. The more he knew about the crew at hand the better things would be in the end as far as he was concerned. Though, his main focus was the captain himself, but that was more of a personal nature and it was obvious from his previous words that it was such. Moreau was a man of science, he studied how people acted and reacted towards certain situations. Camilla and he had had many a talk over the years and once after a long night of drinking and gambling she had had a bit of an emotional moment. One that Jahosafat had not seen before and she opened up to why she had chosen to slum it instead of staying where the doctor felt she should be.

"Well I dare say they will deal," he stated smugly, before motioning for Foy to lead the way through the ship. "I do hope you have some of those wonderful sugared butter shavings my dear friend, I could use such a sweet indulgence before we get down to work," he said grinning from ear to ear as he was given the grand tour. Things were wrapping up with the ship getting prepared, supplies were coming in on schedule and they looked to be departing within the next fifteen minutes.

Over the com an announcement was made by the Yeoman that had checked in the new arrivals. "Dr. Moreau, could you please report to the main cargo hold," the voice said and it only made the good doctor's look of mischievousness grow even broader. He gave a rather knowing wink to Foy as they made their way down. In the cargo bay where several menacing looking men standing over a large black crate of sorts and refusing to leave until Dr. Moreau had signed for everything and they were sure it was in the hands of the correct person.

"Thank you my good men! You may leave now," he said dismissing them. The men nodded and turned on heels before shuffling out of the ship. The Yeoman seemed to breath a sigh of relief as they exited and he was finally able to lock up the ship tight. Everyone that was supposed to be on the ship was now there and all that were to be shown the exit had been.

"We are clear down here," the Yeoman radioed through the ship. It was time to leave.

Marc Tinder

Location: Parents House

Grabbing the dustpan and broom Marc headed back to his room, glancing around and getting a little worried when he didn't see Ashley there. Stepping back out he noted that the guest room door was open and he caught a glimpse of her blonde hair. Letting out a sigh of relief he decided to give her a little space while he cleaned up the mess she had made instead of hovering over her. He was sure she got enough of that on the day to day, granted now he had an excuse. There was some mass murderer out there and he was not about to lose her, not now. Not ever.

As he cleaned up the glass he sighed. He knew she was dating someone and he wasn't going to interfere with that. All those years Ashley had tried to get him to open up and he just couldn't. Now that he knew what to say, how to say it, he couldn't bring himself to. Not because he was shy anymore but because he felt it wouldn't be right. It wasn't something a gentleman did, pushing into the territory of another man. As far as he knew her boyfriend treated her well enough and didn't hurt her. Who was he to poke his nose into things now? He had had his chance, it was his own fault if he never got another.

Finishing up he gathered the dustpan and broom, dumping the glass into the trash can in the kitchen before putting everything away. Sighing he ran his fingers through his hair and went to find Ashley. Stepping into the guest room he smiled solemnly towards her. "All clear, can walk now without it feeling like a bad Annie Lenox song," he chuckled a bit as he leaned against the door frame of the room and looked at her. She was as beautiful as ever, even with her hair all a mess from sleeping and no make up on. In fact to him, she was more stunning than ever.

"Okay, I am going to grab a quick shower. Not everyone of us can wake up looking like a runway model. Stay in the house, I'll leave the door unlocked to the bathroom, anything happens you come get me," he said before running his hand along the back of his neck and turning to head towards the bathroom. He needed to get cleaned up and then head over to the police station but he still wasn't letting Ashley go anywhere without him.

Dj Lawson

Location: Jasmin's Hotel Room

Lawson chuckled a bit as he stood up and tossed his shirt over his shoulder, stretching his hands high above his head. "Hey! That isn't snoring! That is dreaming in surround sound!" he joked before nodding and stepping over to the door to retrieve her shoes for her but not being giving her a lingering glance. She was a beautiful woman but he had learned the night before she was even more beautiful on the inside. Hanging out with her, talking and eating had been one of the best times he had had in a very long time.

Turning he walked back to her and set them down at her feet. "There you go Mi'lady," he teased with a bit of a bow before turning and heading to the bathroom. It was time for him to get cleaned up. He was rather efficient about the whole thing and was in and out of the bathroom within about five minutes. He didn't like wasting time in the shower, had never been one to just stand there and soak it in. He washed and cleaned up his facial hair before wrapping a towel around his waist. Gathering his clothing from the day before in one hand he kept the other at the knot of the towel as he stepped back out and gave her a goofy grin.

"That's better. Want to go grab a bite to eat? Or just want to wait until the picnic?" he asked as he stepped over to his bag and rummaged through it to find something to wear for the day.

Adelaide Grimaldi

Location: Kai's Hotel Room

Ada leaned into Kai, her arms wrapping around his waist as she buried her head into his chest. More dead, more people they had known when they were younger. Sure, not all of them were wonderful people but they didn't deserve to die like this. Taking a few deep breathes and breathing in the scent of Kai she sighed deeply. Right then she just wanted to hop the first plane out of the city and go home, with Kai next to her. She didn't want to sit around and wait for the next person to die.

Looking up at him she shook her head a bit. "No, you call. I can't," she said, admitting her own weakness. Adelaide had always been one to face things head on but right then she wanted nothing to do with anything related to the murders. She was half scared that if Kai called Marc he wouldn't answer, that his body had just yet to be discovered. Biting her bottom lip nervously she buried her head back against Kai's strong frame and closed her eyes.

"Just don't want you to leave my side today..." she said quietly against his bare chest. The day before had been both horrifying and wonderful and she felt a pang of guilt that in the middle of all this death that she had found what she had been wanting all these years, him.

Cynthia McMillan

Location: The hotel

Cynthia just sat there, slowly pulling a pillow over into her lap and hugging onto it. There wasn't much she could say, her mind was spinning. The voices were fighting with one another and it was so much she couldn't even put it into words that were rambles at that point. Slowly she looked over at the sisters and finally managed to squeak out a few words....

"Stars... Camera.... I am Ishmael."

What on earth was she talking about now?
@Pundii A drunken post? This should be good LMAO
@Morose; you want to poke @Pundii or should I? lol

Life can be fickle, so can LLA as we rack up another death count. Today, we lay to rest.... Yeah, like I was going to give you the roll results right off the bat. Yeah, keep reading.....

Zoie & Ryan

Location: Courthouse Lock Up

Ryan looked over to Zoie and sighed somewhat as he paced around the small cell that was his home for now. He had just gotten out of a cage; well okay not just but within the last month but he figured it was better than being out there with Eden out there. He had spent a good majority of his life in lock up, bars were something he was more than accustomed to. He had spent the last while trying to get Zoie to understand what was going on and the southern belle did understand but it didn't mean that she trusted Ryan any further than she could throw him. She wasn't about to let him wander about her home, not with what she knew about him.

"Come on Zoie, you know me. I never did a thing to hurt you, not once," he said before rubbing his face with both his hands as he sat down on the cot that was in his little cell. Looking down at the ring of hair around his index finger he fiddled with it a bit before sighing deeply.

"Yeah, I be knowin' that Irish but that don't mean I be trustin' ya. You were part of that place, willin'ly," she countered with what had to be the dozenth time. They had been going back and forth for a while and it wasn't getting him anywhere.

"It was that or be out there with them being on the wrong side of my back. What was I going to do?" he asked her as he looked back down at the blonde hair.

"Leave, like I done did," she stated flatly as she crossed her arms over her chest. Shaking her head she turned to leave, a guard posted outside of the door in case Ryan tried anything.

"If I had, they would have been after both of us!" he growled without looking over at her.

Turning Zoie glanced over her shoulder and perked a brow. "And what damn difference would it have made to ya? I just been a damn meat shield."

Ryan looked over to her slowly, his eyes trailing over her as he tried to hold back a bit of a nervous smirk. "Then it have meant nothin' to get ya out," he said before looking away. Zoie tilted her head to the side, a bit taken back by what he was insinuating. Turning she made her way out of the lock up and sighed as the door shut behind her. Meant nothing? What was he getting at? she wondered to herself. It couldn't have meant anything, Ryan only cared about one thing. Him and him alone.

Astrid Hansen

Location: The Infirmary

Astrid had taken a small break from studying and reorganized a few things that the doctor had been complaining about, wanting to stretch her legs a bit. She didn't want her legs to go totally numb sitting there studying all day, especially when she had a class to teach that afternoon in shield fighting. The movement around the infirmary, however small they were, was better than nothing and she was glad to have done it as she sat back down and pulled her chair up to the desk.

Taking a small drink of water she set the glass down on the top of the desk before flipping her book back open. Leaning over and resting her head against the palm of the palm of her hand as she started studying, a pencil in her free hand as she jotted down note after note. It was funny, she had gone to school when she was younger but she had never studied half as hard back then as she did now. Everything now wasn't just to learn, it could mean the difference between life and death at one point. Sure she had the doctor to back her up and make sure that she didn't muck things up but she needed to know these things for herself and she took the job she was given as his second hand more seriously than anything she had ever done in her life.

Hearing the door open to the infirmary she looked up from her studies and smiled a bit, a little crookedness to the smile as she leaned back in her seat. "Out looking for you. The outer wall I think, Zoie said you two had some repairs to do at the meeting this morning," she said nonchalantly as the smile played on her lips.

Tatiana Korvo

Location: Building F

Tatiana couldn't help but giggle as Jack spun her around, her arms lacing over his shoulders as she held herself close to him. It was like a dream. They were safe behind walls, high strong walls. There was food. They had a little home. It had to be one of the best day she could remember since this whole thing had begun. Leaning back some she smiled, something that had once been so rare but was becoming a more common thing since she had met Jack.

"Ve safe," she said, feeling like she needed someone to pinch her to make sure she wasn't dreaming. Needing to hear the words again, even if only from her own lips. Taking a deep breath she coughed a bit. They were in a clean home now, the air was fresh, except for them. Laughing she pushed back and waved her hand in front of her face. "Ve stink!" she said smiling and then pinching her nose playfully and making a gagging face.

Turning she looked around and made her way quickly through their home, the smile on her features brightening as she found the bathroom and her eyes fell on the shower. More than that there was soap, towels, and several sets of scrubs they could change into. "Jack! Clean clothes!" she exclaimed as she poked her head out. "You first, go, go," she said excitedly as she rushed back down the hallway towards him and grabbed her pack before motioning for him to go ahead. He had been the one moving a dead dear around that day anyways, he had more blood on him than she did.

Oh right, that whole death thing.... About that....

@FantasyChic The front door is jammed a bit but the back door if checked is unlocked. Instead there are no walkers or people, just a rotting corpse that stinks... There isn't much as far as supplies go but there is a water cooler and next to it is an unopened 20 gallon container of water. The corpse as a pack next to him by one of the stations, there are a couple of hiking water bags that are empty. They are a bit dirty but if you are careful, with the water present you should be able to clean them and fill them all up. Giving you a decent amount of water to carry around even though it will be heavy.

@Nallore @Jotunn Draugr Walker inside and now there are several coming down the road and have taken note of you two. Might want to do something about that. It is either stay out there and see if even more show up and try to make a break for it; or take your chances inside with the single one.

@Charnobylisk @Morose Maybe should have pulled the car to a full stop. As you are slowing down a tire blows; hard just as Lana is looking away from the road. The car goes out of control, cutting off the main road and onto the shoulder. It catches the tail end of an abandoned vehicle and rolls down into the ditch. Landing on the roof, you both are upside down now. Lana is battered pretty well, a nasty cut on her forehead but Édouard didn't get out so easy. The front passenger door is caved in and has pinned his leg down, he is bleeding badly from a gash on his arm thanks to broken glass. (Okay, so he isn't dead... but he might be soon if you two don't act quickly.)

Updates

Season: Late Fall/Early Winter
Time Of Day: Midday
Weather: The weather is still muggy and the clouds still roll through the sky.
General Ambiance: A general WTF just happened feeling
Location: Road North of Salarn, Day Three; region of Gorlf south of the Orc Settlement of Yzewz

Back where the wagon had been everything seems calm, almost too calm. There is no sign that anything should have sent Cremwise into his sudden gallop away from everyone. Nothing is coming out of the woods, there is nothing in the air right there. It is perplexing and could leave many wondering just what had just happened if they were not already.

Down the path, Cremwise seems to be trying to get away from his worst nightmare. Yet, whatever his plans were are quickly derailed by the quick thinking of some is bringing the sudden sprint to a halt. Cyneburg's sudden shift and landing on the back of the wagon nearly crushed Ash but the wolf, who had been standing there on all paws waiting for an order from Kyra, suddenly leapt from the back of the wagon and into the front seat next to Cremwise as he tried to control the horse and keep things moving along. Teeth bared and growling towards the merchant.

Yet, the sudden weight caused the barrings to break, and the horse, now with so much less weight to pull, shot off and the reins came dislodged from his hands; though not before yanking the old man forward and onto the ground to the side and nearly being run over by his own cart as it came to a quick halt.

Kyra Altham

Location: Standing over a mud drenched Cremwise
Interacting With: Cremwise

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Kyra whistled from the trees as she moved from one to the next; Ash taking off now towards the horse that was still speeding down the road, driving it to a point until Ash could get the beast of burden to rear up on his hind legs and turning direction to run back towards the group, shooting passed the now stopped wagon and back towards the remaining folks that were still where everything that started. Ash still nipping at his heels and slowly pulling back as Kyra lept down from the trees and rushed over towards Cremwise.

"Don't you bloody move," she said through clenched teeth as she pulled back in the string of her bow; taunt and ready to let it fly through his skull at the slightest movement. Cremwise spat out the mud from his face and rolled over onto his back, heaving for breath as he saw the gleam of the arrowheads tip pointed right at him. His eyes widening as he held his hands up in defeat.

"Now what in hell was that about?" she demanded to know but Cremwise wasn't answering it seemed. He just looked around frantically, hoping someone would pull her back before she let loose the arrow; which from the look in her eyes it wasn't going to take much more for her to do just that.
