✾ 𝙻𝚊𝚍𝚢 𝙰𝚋𝚜𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚊 Keep moving forward ۩━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned. Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol. ⚘ Looking Inside ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it. Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Cynthia just kept wandering around, muttering to herself as if nothing was going on and everything was at once. Nothing she said could be made out right then but Marc looked over towards Roxanne and nodded slightly. "Yeah, if you wouldn't mind Roxie, keep an eye on her for a few minutes while I try to straighten all this out," he asked in a firm but kind voice. Turning he looked at Riley and cocked a brow.
"We were at the set up for the picnic and the carnival tonight when we found another damn body, so I sent Kai with Ada and Ashley to a safe house while I secured the scene and waited for back up. Ashley has been getting threatening texts on her phone and Ada's dress was taken while she was asleep in her parents house. So yeah, I got them in the clear as quickly as I could when I couldn't watch their backs anymore," he informed Riley in a rather harsh tone.
At Tuesday's words though however he snapped, which was very unlike Marc. "How fucking dare you. How many times did I come to try to straighten your ass out in prison? Tried to help you get back on your feet? What just because I didn't pull some fucking strings to get your ass out of jail for crimes you committed I am suddenly on the radar? Doesn't matter that I was right there with your sister Riley in the gym yesterday when Atlas and Val left only to get killed? I see how it is Miss Ridgeway. You can go fuck yourself. Getting here late, your history of drug abuse, your arrest record and pointing fingers at those that have stood by you no matter what? That sounds like a lot more of a suspect. As far as the bullet proof vest goes, you can get those on fucking ebay, a pawn shop or a military overstock store," he growled at Tuesday.
Taking a deep breath he gave her a look of disappointment before sitting down and taking the files that Tim was holding out to him. "Anyways, I had planned on taking you all to the safe house as soon as I finished up here, I just hadn't been around you this morning yet and I was not about to broadcast it's location to the airwaves when there was a killer on the loose. Or was that just stupid of me?" he muttered under his breath as he went back to flipping through the papers and photographs.

@Oliver Sounds like a perfectly respectable way to go about things. Take time, if/when you feel you are ready, drop me a message here and we can pick up. Try giving my tutorial on RP Ettiquette a look and remember, when online sometimes we can't control what we think but we can control if we hit "post reply" - try setting a timer somewhere for you to use to review your posts before hitting enter. Will give yourself a chance to check if it is really something you want to send through.
@Catharyn More than welcome, just take a gander at the rules and CS and if they are up your alleyway drop a completed cs here at your leisure. Looking forward to hearing from you.
@Oliver Actually I had no problem with the slight change in color since the rule was followed. We have different colors required because of the numerous amounts of characters and when people collab it makes it simpler to denote which character is speaking. Cuts down on confusion and the amount of edits required if there is a miscommunication.
I also have no issue with a character being younger, it brings a new angle. The stats alone impressed me, showed clear understanding of the difficulties one that young would have encountered.
I would have said the skills need some work to be broken down more.
However, having said that, the attitude displayed in your post with your cs alone has forced me to turn you down. I am always willing to bring in new rpers to an rp, even young ones (both in and out of character) - yet I do not put up with attitude or blatant disrespect towards myself or even a hint that it could be passed down to the rpers who have already dedicated so much time to the rp. I am far too old for it. I wish you luck in the future of Rp and hope you can find a group better suited to your Rp needs and desires.
