If things get real bad and you have to resort to cannibalism remember: Vegans first, they are the closest thing to grass fed.

⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

@The Grey Dust Um, doesn't matter. It's the same tube at the top anatomically...Image Diagram

There is a flap of muscle that closes over one side when you swallow to protect the bronchial tubes and keep things going into the lungs. O.o Tilting the head back doesn't close that off, if anything it stretches it open more, why it is part of the instructions before delivering CPR or to insert a breathing tube. Swallowing is a conscious decision that closes the epiglottis, other wise it stays open so breathing can remain.
Oh great, a potion down an unconscious persons throat.... Remember kids, massaging a throat doesn't activate that little flap of muscle in your esophagus to move fluids down to your stomach instead of into your lungs. Thomas is effectively drowning Sana right now....

The Crash Site - Meg is able to back up and head out, taking a an unmapped dirt road to get in front of the hoard. It isn't as big as the one that came around Newnan last time thankfully and because it hadn't rained heavily the last week the road was dry. There were some trees down but nothing blocking the road completely. She will be able to get the hoard to follow her for the most part, minus a few stranglers. Over at the crash site, after the Russian's death, things move quickly. Between the group that came from Newnan and those form Franklin the bodies are moved quickly into the back of the Hoard buster. Astrid climbs down from her perch, slowly and weakly even though she refuses to accept any help and sits by the dead that are piled up. Looking down at Bridgette as she runs her hands over her dead friends braids and speaks softly words she hoped she would never have to say. "Lo there do I see my father; Lo there do I see my mother and my sisters and my brothers; Lo there do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning. Lo, they do call me, they bid me take my place among them, in the halls of Valhalla, where the brave may live forever." It was time to go and move out. Everyone was in place, the crew just needed to climb in and Ash needed to take the wheel to get them "home."

Franklin High School - "Alright Spock, come on in," Lyon chuckled as he shook her extended hand. Letting her enter the grounds and the gate closing behind her and the guards locking things back up, for all it was worth. "Yeah, fucking Eden I bet my hat on it, if I wore a hat," he added as he motioned for him to follow him. He gave some directions to the people outside about how to deal with the bodies and where to start digging the graves, taking a moment to look down at Ed's body and shaking his head. Turning he lead her inside. "Well, it seems a lot of positions just opened, so yeah can use some help most likely but first want you to get check out and cleaned up." Leading her over to the infirmary Sana was laying on the table, grunting through the stitches that Amelia was putting into her calf as he bit down on the leather. It wasn't pretty stitching but it would do the job. Once the last stitch was out she spit out the belt form her mouth and looked over towards Lyon and the new comer. "Who's she?" she asked lifting her head off the table some. "Riley. Riley, this is Sana and Amelia, I'm Lyon, they'll take care of you," he said before stepping back to the door. Stopping he looked over at Amelia and Sana. "Mike is outside digging graves, I'll send him in a bit to get some cuts cleaned," he added before leaving the room. Sana sat up slowly and motioned for the bandages. "Okay, welcome to Franklin. Amelia can you wrap up the leg now, just to keep it clean."

Newnan Northern Gate - Everything is clear for now, you two are good to continue into the town. The outer northern emergency gate will close up and lock up tight once you are inside - the same will happen with the inner gate once you move to that point. Right now, the rolls are in your favor.

Newnan Streets - Froggy shakes his head. "Too much death," was all he could say before hoisting Sophia up with the help of Kris and moving towards the back door of the Court House, he didn't want to risk someone else seeing and alerting Neisha right then. Opening the door he slowly moves in and glances around, remembering that right now Zoie was laid in the back with a sheet over her head but that the gurney she was on was blocking the door. "Second though, this way," he said moving down the hallway to the lock up area of the court house. The man guarding Ryan looked at them oddly. "Just temporary," was all Froggy said as Ryan looked over ad stood up. Hey, old man, what's going on out there? Sounds like WWIII," Ryan asked but Froggy ignored him and laid down Sophia's body in another cell before looking over at Kris and pulling her in for a hug. He wasn't sure if he was hugging him for her or for him. Didn't matter right then.

Newnan Infirmary - "Vill do," Tatiana said as she went over to the people as they came in, going over what was wrong with them. The simple cases she took, just cleaning out cuts and bruises, bandaging up some lacerations and such. Larger cuts that would need a stitch or two, burns, those things she sent over to Niesha to take care of, she knew the basics but figured since Niesha was put in charge by the doctor when he left she should hand over the more complicated matters to who she was assuming was the nurse in the infirmary, or at least some sort of medical professional. Everything Tatiana new was taught since the out break,so there was no formal training but she had learned a lot back in Kansas and could handle the basics. "Good to be busy, bad that people hurt but better to be busy. Hate sitting around vaiting with nothing to do, makes mind think vorst," she said as she helped Miss Sally over to Niesha, the woman had some hand burns and was bleeding lightly from a cut on her scalp.

Millicent Wyndham

Location: Wyndham Estate near Hyde Park (Inside)

Millicent looked away thoughtfully for a moment before rising from her place and wandering over towards the window of her room, drawing back the curtains with her fingers and peering out to the gardens and stables below. The sun shining in softly brought to life the flowers she had been given by Gerard to her earlier that morn. Pondering to herself the various options for Virginia's dear little brother before she came to a conclusion and let the drapery fall where it may. Lacing her fingers together she turned and looked over towards her best of friends.

"Then I would suggest that you make haste and whisk your brother off to parts otherly than here in England so that he may come into his own and train before the shutting of the door, forcing the Earldom on him. For if he leaves before any sad conclusions are drawn and titled is forced upon him they cannot force him back. The contracts transcend all Crowns and Borders for the safety of the Soulled. He would be granted time to finish his training, wherever you choose, and you would be given temporary Regency over his lands and title until his return. While I would not wish the titles on any, I know you are far more capable than a child, far more than most any man that currently holds one. Yes, send him now, before it is too late."

Millicents words were solemn but kind as she spoke before she hurried over towards Virginia and knelt before her, taking the pale woman's hands in her own, running her fingers over her skin as she chuckled to herself for unknown reasons. Looking back up she smiled at Lady Crypt as she reached up and brushed back some of her light golden locks. "I can secure a ship for his travels at your earliest convenience."

Letting out a slow breath she rose and released Virginia's hands before stepping away from her, shaking her head as her hand covered her mouth. The offer to leave the manor and go elsewhere was tempting, to get her sisters away from Elizabeth even more so but in the end she knew she could not. "She is my mother. For the sake of my father I must remain and protect her as fervently as I would him. I cannot turn my back on his trust and confidence no matter the short comings she may possess."

Miss Wyndham would have loved to leave, to have a life of her own but she had so much she still needed to do, things she was bound by her heart and her mind to do. Protect her sisters, protect her step-mother, ensure the safety as best she could of those that worked for her family in the home and further away at the country estate, to continue to look out for her fathers business interests. To ensure the family carried on. Her wants and needs were secondary to all else in this life.

Biting her bottom lip for a more than a moment before letting it slip away and shaking off the childish dreams of anything more for herself in this life at this point she turned back to Virginia and motioned for her to use her own bed as she needed. "Please, do what you need. I will see that you are protected, none shall harm you without first having to come through me," she said as she took a seat at her vanity. Pulling the cloth of her gown to the side where it slit high along her waist she pulled her dagger from its sheath on her thigh. She would not let anything harm Virginia while she still drew breath.

Subway of Justice: - "Yeah, second thinking that. Subway seems safer. Or at least less crowded," Relic says as he pulls the hood of his hoodie up and heads towards the bus stop but passes it. Making his way down the street stairs to the underground Subway entrance he comes to the gate and runs a card through twice. "Got you covered," he says without looking back, always looking forward and keeping an eye out to their surroundings. The place is pretty dirty and trashy as are the people but this is that end of town. Nothing seems out of place as the subway pulls up and comes to a stop. Once the doors open Relic waits for a few people to step out before boarding and finding a couple of seats away from the few that are actually on the subway. Sitting down he unshoulders his bag and pulls out a phone. One he hasn't used yet and connects it to his laptop in his bag. Biting his bottom lip he checks his messages and notices he got an email. "Well at least there is something to pass the time," he mutters as he reads the email, not hiding it from Mali, it will be clear for her to read as well. Asking about the St. Valentine's Day massacre copycat that happened in the 90's.

Classic Building 3C: - Marc cocks a brow and shakes his head slightly as he listens to Felix. "Yeah, hard to believe that," he says before standing up as he hears Riley's door unlock and open. Looking over to her he gets a worried expression on his face because of the look on hers. As she shows him her phone he closes his eye and hangs his head for a minute. Holding up a finger he takes her phone and types out. "Wait here one minute," he says before heading out of the apartment and down to his car. Coming back up a few minutes later with a small bag he slides out a device after he closes and locks the front door. Setting the small black box up on the counter he enters in a few key strokes before saying anything. Once a light goes green on the box he turns back to the two. "Sorry, it's a signal disrupter basically. If there is anyone listening in or watching us, they aren't now," he said before walking over to Riley and wrapping his arms around her. "I'm so sorry Riley, I should have kept a better eye on her and kept her safe."

The Corner Store: - As they get closer to the store Risa stops and notices the signs on the windows. None of them are in English, they are all in Russian. Looking over towards Lucas she smirks a bit and opens her bag, pulling out some gaudy large jewelry and put it on before making her make up a bit brighter on her lips and darker around her eyes. Teasing her hair a little she curls a grin on her lips as she shoves the rest back into her bag and shoulders it. "Time to play the part," she says in a thick Russian accent. "Pump and Dump," she adds before heading into the corner store. It was an old plan they had used several times before in Russia and in various parts of other countries when in the Russian side of town. Risa would secure keys to a vehicle while Lucas kept watch. The corner store was small and simple enough but it was a gas station as well and a repair shop was next to it. The bell on the front door rang as Risa stepped inside. It was time to get this done so they could get out of there.

"I doubt you could ever be considered a third wheel Miss Ridgeway," Peter chuckled before turning and having a seat, resting his cane beside him as he got comfortable. Hearing Lauren ask about war stories he sat quietly. He had stories that was to be sure but none that he wished to revisit right then. He had spent enough time in war, and it was all too fresh in his mind still to want to travel down that road. Right then, he was in Cairo and he wanted to push those thoughts as far away from the front of his mind as possible.

A small smirk came to his lips as he looked towards his uncle. Of course Reginald would have a story or two. The man loved to talk, to drink, to fight, didn't matter his age. He was always ready with a story or two and as he mentioned a jackass and a honeycomb in a brothel he busted out laughing. "Dare I even ask what possessed you to bring those two particular items into a brothel?" he laughed as he leaned back in his seat. The minds image painted before him was rather humorous and he couldn't wait to hear the rest of this tale.

Though even as he sat there his mind wandered over to Vera as he sat there. He had come there for a specific purpose and reason and it seemed that tomorrow he would see if his trip was worth the time. He cared for Vera deeply, and he knew she held great affection for him. Granted, he knew that neither of them were in love with the other but they were a fine match together. They had similar interests, enjoyed history, were a bit on the out skirts of what the ton deemed acceptable, not to mention they enjoyed each others company and were both of noble birth. They were a good match to say the least, far more desirable than many of the women his mother had tried to get him to wed since his return or even before he had left for the war.

Location: Qasr El Nil Barracks Officers Club -> Streets of Cairo

Moving along the barracks to the gate Aziza smiled over towards Harry. "I am very sure, as long as I am not imposing on you I would have it no other way," she said in a happy voice as they approached the gate. Once they were there they were stopped for a moment as the gate was opened to the streets of Cairo.

"تذكر لدينا سجين هرب فضفاضة في القاهرة. هذه الليلة متأنية." the guard says to Aziza and she nods slightly, her fingers tightening around Harry's arm before stepping through the gate with him and it closing behind the two.

"With everything that had happened this evening I had completely forgotten about the escaped convict," she said glancing around the streets before looking up at Sgt. Walsh. "More thankful than ever that you are here to escort me back to the hotel."

Turning down the street, she glanced around. The moon was starting to come up over the city but the stars couldn't bee seen because of the lights. It was balmy out that was to be sure but that was to be expected, it would cool off soon enough and become even frigid during the night. There were tourists out on the street and locals but that was normal, it wasn't late enough yet for the streets to be empty. They would be able to walk to the hotel without much hassle or delay it seemed, probably a good ten or fifteen minutes. Maybe twenty if they were leisurely about their stroll.
@The Grey Dust - You're up

Kyra & Ash

Location: Hell Defrosting
Interacting With: Not the blood thankfully

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Kyra watched as two of her three daggers went and gouging into it, the scream that erupted from the mist caused Kyra to halt in hr tracks and cringe. That was not a sound she wanted to hear again. As she sees Njat finish the thing off and the subsequent downpour of blood she shakes her head. "I ain't cleaning up that mess," she muttered under her breath as she glanced around. She couldn't see much but from the looks of things whatever else was trying to attack was gone and it was quiet. Too quiet for her liking considering everything that just happened but Kyra wasn't about to complain.

Sheathing ehr sword she glanced around, seeing Sana unconscious on the ground with Epona and Ash guarding her. Rushing over to her friends side she knelt down as she pulled her cloak from her, pulling Sana into her arms and slowly moving the woman closer to the fire. "Someone either heal this bitch or hand me my bag," she yelled as she rubbed the cloak up and down Sana's arms trying to get her to wake up. She had seen hypothermia hit Sana before but it wasn't this bad, granted she had never seen her cast the other spell before and didn't know what problems it gave her. The two combined, she figured, must have rendered Sana in such a horrible condition.

The wall was melting, thankfully. Well maybe not. It provided a barrier between them and whatever else was out there. Even with it being quiet there could still be danger out there. "Come on woman, wake up," she grumbled as she continued to try to warm Sana's body up next to the fire. She knew she needed to retrieve as many arrows as she could and her daggers as well but that could wait. Kyra felt on the other hand, nearly refreshed after the battle, she chalked that up to Sana's last spell before she passed out. Even though the creature that attacked them wasn't a fog, something she had heard Sana warn about time and time again, she was beginning to believe that anything floating like that was just bad news. Hopefully they wouldn't come across another one of those things. To her, they got lucky taking it down.
