Keep moving forward ۩
⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Justice Asylum: - Cynthia slowly stopped her doodling, the crayon in her hand going still as her eyes stared seemingly blankly at the piece of paper covered with looked no more than a red ink blot test gone very wrong. "You don't understand. No he doesn't understand. He will. Yes he will. Should we explain? What good at words? Actions then? I suppose so. We did promise to behave. Yes but we know some promises have to be bent. Broken more like it. Alright, broken," she said in a child's voice laced with innocence as she spoke to herself. Debating with herself. The tip of the crayon getting pressed so hard against the paper that it snapped. "Shall we? Let's."

Her eyes coming up from the paper, slowly rising until they locked with Felix's. The corner of her mouth tugging gradually into a manically sadistic cheshire grin. It was a look that Riley, Marc and a handful of others had seen before; one they knew all too well.

"No... Valentine is coming," she said in a slow steady voice laced with acid.

Balling her fingers around the red crayon, Cynthia suddenly sprang from her seat. Coming up like a lynx after it's prey. "Time to paint a pretty pretty picture!" she cackled as one hand reached to claw at Felix and the other seemed determined to drive that children's drawing implement right into his jugular. Laughing sadistically she was bent to tackle, pin him, and create the most stunning picture she had ever created.

Cab: - Relic listened s he shuffled in his seat somewhat. It was an interesting way to get into it. He could use some confidence himself but the first thought running through his mind was that he'd half to work out until he got in good enough shape to even go to the gym. being in front of everyone with his spindly legs and pale skin just made him even more nervous just thinking about it. At her little crack of a joke about the pickle jar he laughed a little and nodded. "Well, and carrying around feather weights like a sake of potatoes," he added with a little smile.

Looking down he pushed his glassed back up the bridge of his nose. "Which, by the way, thanks for that. Don't remember if I said it earlier," he added as he looked out the window. The cab was finally out of the city and into the suburbs. On a hill where the sun was starting to set was an older looking farm house. It looked really old. Not old as in worn down but old as just in the architecture. The house looked like it could have easily been built pre-civil war.

"We're here," he said as the cab drove through the white picket fence gate and up to the front of the gravel driveway. The house was surrounded for miles by pastures that were fenced, horses grazing out in said pasture. There was a small pond where ducks and geese were swimming. Some chickens wandered around the front clucking away as Relic got out of the cab and paid the man. A rough bell could be heard banging quietly as Relic spun around. It was hanging around the neck of a goat.

"Juniper! Don't!" he yelled but it was no use the goat ran up to him and butted him right in the rear sending him stumbling forward and barely being able to catch himself.

"Sweet Jesus!, Juniper! You's lets him be!" a country voice called out from the front porch. It was Zoie, her southern twang coming out a lot more than when she was in the city. The goat baa'ed before trotting off as she stepped down the porch. She looked so different than she had in the club. She was wearing jeans, a white button down dress shirt, cowboy boots, a lace apron around her waist and was cleaning her hands off on a dish rag. The heavy seductress make up was replaced by soft shades and natural lips. She smiled as her feet hit the gravel. "Sorry 'bout that, fergot to tie him up b'fore yous got here," she said hugging her brother.

"Yeah, no worries." Relic hugged her back and then looked over at Mali. "Oh yeah, Zoie this is Mali, Mali - Zoie."

"Oh right from the bar." Zoie said holding her hand out to offer a welcoming shake to Mali. "Welcome to my home, come on in ya two. Supper almost ready."
@Morose I'm thinking in a few rounds we need to collab their arrival to Newnan LOL
@Morose I think Gavi is quickly becoming my favorite "ship" LOL

Tatiana Korvo

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)
Interacting With: Jack

Tatiana looked around the room wide eyes and the smile on her lips would not falter. It was all so much and she couldn't be more grateful to everyone for pulling together to make this happen. She had some small gifts of her own to give out to certain people, as well as a wedding gift to give to Jack, but that could wait for now. She didn't know where to start but her stomach was letting her know that she had barely touched anything all day.

Hearing Jack call her Mrs. Korvo caused her to cock a brow and giggle. "That make me sound like old voman," she said with a bubbly laugh. Tapping the bottom of her chin as she leaned against Jack she had a thought. "Nev lives, nev home. Jack..." she started before leaning in and whispering against his ear, cupping her hand against his cheek. "ve be anyone ve vant right? Hov about Mr. And Mrs. Nevnan?" she said quietly before leaning back and smiling. It was a silly idea she knew but to her it made perfect sense in an odd sort of way. Newnan was the start of the new world, a place to rebuild and have a life. Why not pay tribute to it?

Jim looked around as people came up to the bar, spotting Sana making a beeline for him. He was very glad when the note was shifted to him about the drinking for the evening. Looking down at it he gave it a quick read through. He wasn't surprised to see that Richard was on the ~no serve list~ - There was a note that there wasn't exactly a legal drinking age anymore but the younger kids were not allowed any - there was sparkling juice for them. The teens were allowed one glass of wine for the evening as a treat. Ryan and Chloe were restricted to no more than than 3 each and to see how they handled it from there. Sana had a note by her name to make sure she drank what she got and she wasn't handing it off to Richard. From the look in the woman's eye she wouldn't have given him a glass of piss that evening.

Miss Sally came over with Lyon, both wanting something hard and dark. Granted when the words came out of Miss Sally's mouth she shook her head. It wasn't exactly how she meant it as she caught sight of James and it caused Lyon to bust out laughing. "I'll have what she's having," he laughed, which got him an elbow.

"Oh bollocks, you know what I meant." Miss Sally shook her head but chuckled as she waited for Jim to pour the drinks, he himself biting the inside of his cheek to keep from laughing outright as well.

Ryan O'Reliy

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)
Interacting With: Chloe, Riley

"Fuck yeah I would!" Ryan said with a smirk. Looking at Chloe he grinned a wiry grin and started to lead her towards the Rec center. "I promise, cross me heart and hope to die, I won't be grabby. But you better pay up,"" he said sticking his tongue out.

He hoped Bryn would take care of Sana, he wasn't going near that woman tonight. He knew better. Ryan was anything but stupid. Hearing the remarks about Dick he shook his head. Looking over as Ash lead Thana back towards his house and perking a brow. "I was going to say I doubt he'll do anything really except glare but..." he said motioning towards the two leaving the scene of the wedding and not heading directly over to the reception site. "But then again."

Shrugging he headed to the rec center and looked around. God he was hungry. Over with the Cd stacks, guy had done well, there was plenty of country which was to be expected but he had also been able to find a lot of rock, pop, slow songs, hit song compilations, and more. Even a copy of one of Riley's old CD's. There was plenty for the party it seemed. Even a separate stack of karaoke songs with a note on top - "For when things get boring."

Thana Martin

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)
Interacting With:Ash, Jack, Tatiana

Thana looked over towards Ash as he handed over the slip of paper. He was an interesting one that was for sure. Why he thanked her a second time was beyond her reasoning but the smile, however small it was, was welcome. She made note to ask him later when they were not in front of nearly the entire town. He had said he didn't do well around large groups, she didn't want to push the issue.

Glancing away she looked around the room and spotted the happy couple. The bride whispering against her new husbands ear. "I believe that would be them Captain," she said motioning over in their direction. Her eyes met with Tatiana's and Tatiana grabbed Jack by the arm, tugging on it as she pointed towards Ash and Thana.

Tatiana wasted no time hurrying over to the two and giving Ash a big hug that Thana was barely able to step aside for. The woman was excitable that was for sure. "Thank you Ash! Thank you! Service was vonderful!" she said letting him go and then suddenly Thana found herself in the middle of a very ardent embrace. Her eyes widening as the young bride hugged her as if she had known her for years and was family. Thana wasn't sure what to make of the moment but she gave a gentle hug in return.

"Oh um, that was quite the greetin'. Congratulations on the weddin', it was beautiful." Thana's voice was cordial and kind as she spoke, finally being released from the hug she stepped back over to Ash. Slipping her arm back through his she glanced over towards him. "I now know how Father Mulcahy felt..."

Tatiana looked confused but shrugged it off. "Vell, are you going to introduce us to date Ash?" she teased with a hyperactive giggle. Seemed Tatiana was ten times more bubbly than normal just now. Thana smirked slightly as she looked over towards Ash from the corner of here eye.

Gavin Comfort

Location: Five miles west of Newnan, in the snow.
Interacting With: Ravi

Gavin gave a huff and grinned broadly as he stopped in his tracks. Turning around to look at Ravi the smile grew. "I be havin' ya know I knows exactly where's we ares goin!" he said before turning back around and thrusting his hand into the air, pointing due east from where they were standing. "Were goin' that-a-way!" he said proudly as he pointed in the direction of where the noise came from.

Waiting he wrapped an arm around Ravi and started walking again. "Now, we don't be needin' no coonhound. I already got mans best bud," he said, his hand coming up from Ravi's shoulder and ruffling his hair before he trudged off, moving with broad steps through the snow and giving Ravi a pretty decent path to follow him through.

"Sixteen tons and what do yas get? Another day older and deeper older and deeper in debt. Saint Peter dontcha call mes cause I ain't comin'. I owes my soul to the company stoooooooooore," Gavin sang in a low baritone voice as he trudged through the snow, pulling out one of his old favorites by the man in black, a Mr. Johnny Cash. Each step he pulled through the snow was to the beat of the song.

Scooby Gang

Location: Grand Continental

Aziza looked over to Josephine and stepped back into the room from the balcony. "True but I could always use some new and colorful phrases to describe the less than desirable," she said as she stepped over to the small bar in the room and poured herself and Josephine a drink. Granted she didn't know if the woman would want one but Aziza was an entertainer and hostess where she worked, plus old customs were hard to break.

"I hope this is alright," she said as she set down a simple glass of sweet wine on the coffee table in front of Josephine before retrieving her own and taking a long sip of it. She let out a semi-relaxing sigh from her lips before she heard foot steps coming up the stairs. Walking over to the door she looked through the peep hole to see Sgt Walsh and others coming up the stairs.

"They're back," she said in a thankful voice as she unlocked the door and opened it for them, stepping to the side. Seeing the LORD MAJOR! and his nephew in the group caused her to raise a brow. "Lord Major Keystone, I was not expecting to see you again this evening, is everything alright?" she asked concerned as she stood there, her eyes darting between the four men and then back over to Josephine.

Peter kept quiet, feeling it was best for those that knew Aziza and Josephine to do the explaining. He was merely there as support at this point because of Vera and Miss Ridgeway. Stepping inside he glanced around the room and then back over towards the others.

Elsewhere In The City

Dr. Moran scoffed as he set his medical bag down. "I assure you woman, that discretion is one of my top priorities. You needn't worry about the ton learning you were having trouble sleeping. Such issues are common among your gender," he said as he pulled out a bottle filled with a greyish powder and turned around.

As she held up her hand though he stopped and cocked an overly bushy brow. The thing arching like a caterpillar trying to avoid being eaten by a bird. Adjusting his glasses he stepped forward and took a closer look. "Well, just what have you gotten yourself into Lady Kingston?" he asked as he took her hand gently in his own and started to examine it. The man was as patriarchal as they came but the upside of this was that he was extremely gentle with women and thus his touch was at least kind and did not lend to more pain.

"Who long ago did this occur? And what is the pain level currently?" he asked as he slowly turned her hand over in his to see the inner side of the burn.

The young steward left with a nod and shut the door quietly behind him, things in the compound seemed to be calming down thankfully now that they bell had stopped tolling. It was either because of that or because a certain loud mouth was off bothering the LORD MAJOR! - Either way, there was a welcome calm to the place. Vera slept soundly, out like a light. Her face pressed haphazardly into her pillow and her breath could be heard slow and deep. Thankfully she wasn't the snoring type. Hopefully it would remain peaceful and she could sleep off the majority of the nights drinking.
@The Grey Dust @Lucius Cypher K, sounds good - Remember both of you are on day 5 of 5, if they hit six.... well, you know the drill.

@Sigil @Dragoknighte - On day 4 of 5

Sana

Location: Yellow Rose Temple
Interacting With: Yomdi, Keystone
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Sana looked less than convinced that this man wasn't about to kill her or make matters worse but at this rate she knew she really didn't have many other options. Well, other than giving up her bard skills. They were something she had fought against for so long but now that she had them and she was one of the few last of the Rawn Clan, she didn't want to give them up now if she could help it. As Keystone rested her in the center of the room she looked over to him and mumbled in a gravel like voice. "He kills me, I'm haunting yer ass..."

"Ick, stop, bad voice. Dirty wind. Like friends Kraken!" Yomdi exclaimed as he motioned over wildly to Keystone. "Yes, Yes, Yomdi hear. Big talk in town, ride on wind. Nasty winds it was. Could be deadly if done right, or wrong. Dirty winds. Peeeeyu!" he added with a laugh as he hopped around the room. Each motion and word coming from his mouth caused the look of concern to grown on Sana's voice.

"Now, just hold still, no worries. Yomdi fix you right up Yomdi will." He seemed very excited. "Only small chance it go bad but Yomdi got this," he said as he began. Sana was about to say something but a wind picked up around her and took what "dirty" breath she had and stilled it.

Yomdi was moving in what looked like some premeditated movements but one couldn't be sure. He was all over the place. (Think Yoda in a fight, on crack, laced with red bull) - Had to give the man props, he was agile for a man that could have been anywhere from between sixty and two-hundred. He was evidently much taller than he appeared to people most of the time as well. Usually appearing very hunched over and causing him to appear with his robes to be a mere five foot and five inches. Yet as he moved, it was clear he was well over six feet in true stature.

Sana would have noticed this but she appeared to be suffocating as she couldn't release her breath or draw her in as a whirl wind picked up around the room and swirled about her. This didn't stop the old man as he continued, each movement building the winds in the chamber to a blistering speed causing dust to kick up, clothing and hair to ruffle, skin to feel pulled. It was like being caught up in the straight winds of a hurricane and Sana was caught in the eye but things were anything but calm. As the winds reached their apex, Yomdi thrust his hands forward and every swirl of wind hit Sana and sent her flying like a rag doll across the room.

He smiled! Like actually smiled brightly as he laughed and hopped around. The winds going to a calm clean breeze. "Breath the fresh air!"

Sana didn't move.

"Yomdi say breath the fresh air!" he said still laughing but the laughter was dying down.

Sana still didn't move.

"I SAID," picking Sana up by the scruff of her outfit, her body hanging blue and limp. SMACK! right square on her back and Sana gasped, taking the first breath she had in what felt like forever. "Breath the fresh air!"

Coughing he let her go, Sana dropping to her knees and gasping for air, taking it in as if she had just come up after being held underwater for far too long. "You idiot! You could have killed me!" Sana said between gasps but her voice was clear as a bell. She stopped, still chest heaving as she tried to catch her breath fully now and looking at the old man shocked.

"Told ya, Yomdi fix you up right as wind!"
@Dragoknighte No worries, I can shift them to npc's and if you want to join back later we can rework them in or something.
@Dragoknighte Cool, thankies!

Got a post up - not what I wanted as much but in a hurry. Damn storms have caused multiple power and net outages so far. Trying to get posts up as quickly as possible while I can.
Sunie Marks

Hearing the bell ring Sunie glanced towards the door, motioning for Lola to have a look; which she did but shrugged it off. Lola was not the most disciplined when it came to customers. Probably for the best, she would most likely scare them off with her bubblyness.

"Oh it's just Flo," Lola remarked as she skipped over to the work table and had a seat, nearly sitting square on Sunies latest creation. Sunie grabbed it quickly and moved it out of the way, letting out a bit of a huff.

"Do you always have to be so chipper in the morning?"

"Well, when else am I supposed to be chipper sourpuss?"

Shaking her head Sunie didn't bother to answer Lola, instead addressing the customer personally. "It's fine Flo, be right with you," Sunie called out as she moved the weapon over to another work bench and out of the range of her sister Lola.

The bell rang again over the door and Sana waltzed in, shrugging off her worn leather coat as she did. Looking at Flo she nodded. "Morning Flo, you're hear early," Sana quipped as she hung her jacket up on a nail behind the front counter and grabbed her apron from it. Tying it around her waist she looked back over to Flo as Sunie came out from behind the back curtain.

"Oh hey Sana," Sunie said as she pulled off gloves and tucked them into her own apron pocket.

"Hey, Lola here yet?" Sunie asked. About that time there was a crash in the back room and a voice chirping through the curtain.

"I didn't do it!" Lola said quickly, all too quickly. Sunie grumbled and Sana rolled her eyes.

"I got it..." Sana said before nodding toward Flo and pushing to the back room. Sunie found herself taking a deep breath before looking over at Flo.

"Sorry about that. What can I do for you? Looking to buy some cheap labor, got two blondes I'm trading on the cheap today..." she said as rested her hands on the counter and gave a look of "god help me..." towards their regular customer.
