If things get real bad and you have to resort to cannibalism remember: Vegans first, they are the closest thing to grass fed.

⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Elizaveta looked over to Constantin and gave him a look of disdain. The man always seemed to have some sort of comment to make. This was a serious time, if she saw death it was more than just basic slaughter. It took what breeding was in her not to roll her eyes at his comment. "And even more when the trained overestimate their skill," she said as she stood there and laced her hands before her. Giving him a slight look and raising the corner of her lips into a smirk.

Though at Virginia's mention of Millicent it faded and she looked over to the pale woman. "I do not think she is gone, not from vhat I have seen. I have not seen death, I have seen pain," she admitted. She had seen in other's eyes Miss Wyndham and she had seen great pain. She feared that what Millicent had in her future was far worse than death. Yet she did not want to say more on the subject just then. There was much to do and she was already drained from the days events, she still had work to do this evening.

Turning her head she looked away and caught how the one man was looking at Virginia and how stoic he remained. "Use vords, not glares to communicate. You vill go further," she stated towards Thalken before looking to Mary and nodding. She understood the significance of the weapon being left behind as her new friend left. Reaching down once Mary left she wrapped her fingers around it and hefted it up. Resting it on its pole end and holding it straight. She would watch over it for now and hope that it was not needed for use other than for a deep meaning.

As Vlad spoke to her, her lips pursed. "It vas broken. Dark. There vas blood. There vas something, Soulless, I do not knov. I fear ve may all lose something dear before this year draws to a close," she said quietly. "I fear someone has already at this time."

Calum found laying on the couch and closing his eyes was a far safer use of his time than anything that required movement. He wished to study his bible some, to find some answers in it perhaps but at this point he was half afraid that if he turned a page he would give himself such a paper cut that he would bleed to death before the morning dawned. It was best to just say his prayers and close his eyes and hope that things would be better come the morning. Thing like being able to walk without falling over a table. That would be a most welcome thing indeed.

He would have normally taken to his knees but the act of just getting onto the couch had been a miracle in and of itself. The parson was not about to push his luck be getting onto the floor and then attempting to get back into bed. He would most definitely die. Closing his eyes, he spoke to god. Repenting his sins, such as his gluttony for the pastries, and then there was Maeve. Oh he should not be turned over like this because of her. Yet there it was and he tried to repent for it though he wondered just how well that went over with the Lord God since he knew he would not stop thinking of how pretty she was.

"Oh fuddle..." he muttered before repenting for his curses of fuddles through out the day.

Cook slowly walked into the room and glanced around as Gerard tried to tidy up as best he could. "She will not speak Mr. Connolly. She just sits there in the bath water as it grows cold. Unmoving. Oh poor Miss Milli, how could someone?" she said as she collapsed onto the couch and brought her fist up to her teeth. Biting down slightly as it became more and more clear to her what Millicent had suffered that evening.

Slamming her fist down onto the arm of the couch she shook her head. "Whoever did this should be tar and feathered and drawn and quartered," she said in a shaky voice.

After that she just went silent, thinking on the expression on Millicent's face when she went to check on her. The girl just sat there, like stone. Not even a ripple ran across the waters surface. It was still, like death. The light that had once been in Millicents bright dark eyes was gone and nothing but a bit of abyss remained. Cook had only seen some of the bruising but it was nothing compared to the look of nothingness in Millicents eyes.

Abigail came barreling into the house, the door closing hard behind her and calling out for Cook. "In here lass," she said as she stood up, drying her eyes. "Have you got it?" she asked solemnly.

"Yes yes Cook, I be gottin' it. Just gonna bes brewing up a tea fors it I will," Abigail said quickly, half out of breath.

"Make sure to be careful with the amount. You wish to prevent any quickening, not lay our Miss out on a slab in the family mausoleum," Cook warned.

"I's know, I's know," Abigail assured her.

"Are you sure this is what Miss Milli wants? I suspect it is, one such as her would not wish to raise a child of forced notions..." Cook said as she started to tear up again.

"I's don't knows rightly, shes won't speak. Has she spoke yet?" Abigail asked.

"No..."

Abigail nodded and ran off to the kitchen as Cook sat back down and shook her head. "Poor little one... Such a frightful night..."

@Mahz I have some things to catch up on but will send in some ideas and such for both a tag and program. It wouldn't be the first I set up, gonna grab some of my notes from BattleOn and SI from back on the day that should help. (I've reworked most of my tutorials from there already for this forum, but still have some others.)

@Mahz Oh sweet Jesus! Mahz, I might actually love you for this. Thank you!!!!
@FantasyChic Yeah, of course. Just saying that after ward's Peter left and Vera went over to the buffet and fainted. It seemed that the poet was cut short since there was no reaction from Josephine of what happened.
@FantasyChic Peter ended up leaving the room, and then Vera fainted. >.>

@AnonaMouse Welcome to our little slice of insanity - Might want to check out Welcome To RPG - Navigating The Forum Or any of the other Articles and Tutorials in the Articles and Guides Section. Don't worry, place isn't as mad as it seems. Well yeah it is but it's fun. Any questions, just ask. ^^
@Obscene Symphony Well mind you we started mailing back and forth during the 90's but it continued for well over a decade passed high school and college. Mikae and I were paired together as part of a school program between the US and Japan. Both of us were in the same year and it was part of a program for Japanese students to better secondary language.

It started out simple enough - letters back and forth, about once a month talking about basic things such as what we liked, our favorite colors, bands, clothing. The usual teen stuff. I remember she always wrote on the most colorful rice paper, it was so beautiful. And sent me these drawings she would find around her town that depicted Americans - they were hilarious - we always had the biggest feet!

She started teaching me a bit of Japanese through the letters as we got older and our letters became much more personal as we got to know each other. Who we were dating and so forth. During holidays in either country we eventually started sending packages to her. She would send me Manga's and souvenirs from her travels all over her country, even clothing. I would send her CD's and Levi's from the US LOL. It was a lot of fun.

Sadly life got in the way the older we got. Marriages, kids, work - all lead to us drifting apart but I still remember it fondly to this day. Might want to check out your local university and such, talk to exchange students, the administration of your own school or even work if they have divisions over seas. Never know what you might find.

As the town continued to move around those that were out and about things at the ship were as calm as could be hoped for. Anisa nodded towards Harper. This was putting a lot of trust in the man, someone she hardly knew. It didn't sit right with her but at this point she didn't have much of a choice. There was no one on her current old staff with the Vengeance that had the skills needed to wipe the drives as well as he supposedly could. All she could do was try to have a little faith that he wouldn't sell them up the creek with what she had put him in charge of. Granted, she knew things about him that he had told her she could always use to hang over his head and return the favor should he decide to put a knife in her back. Only time would tell. It wasn't that she wanted to use blackmail to get the job done but for the safety of her known crew she would.

She needed to have faith but faith wasn't exactly her department. That was Atticus. Who was right now smirking a bit at Dorothy. He half had expected her to pull a biology book out of no where and chuck it at her. Taking a breath he smiled before excusing himself from the two of them, Dorothy and Foy. He still needed to take care of his own personal effects and wanted to get that done before Anisa rained down fire and brimestone from the bowels of hell on top of him. He might have been a drunk from time to time and had his own sins and vices to deal with but he wasn't stupid. Having her wrath pointed at him was something he felt not even the Lord God Almighty could protect him from.

Heading back to what had been his temporary quarters he began to get his things together. It wasn't like he had much to go, he had never been one to hoard things. So it shouldn't have been a difficult task. While he was tending to that, Jahosafat made his way to the cargo bay and started going through Camilla's personal effects. He noticed that there was much missing he would have expected her to have but he paid it no never mind. He was there for personal items, not weapons of mass destruction. And he found more than what he was looking for.

He knew the silk scarf as soon as he spotted it and could only give a sadden smile as he took it gingerly in his fingers. Running the tips over the soft fabric before folding it nicely and placing it in his front breast pocket. Then he found the ring. That struck a chord with him. He knew who it was from and it's meaning. She had shown it to him ages ago. She was always so sad when she did but she smiled nonetheless. She had mentioned that she hoped that one day that Quinn could find peace and return to being the man she had fallen in love with. Perhaps now he had. Jahosafat had found some solace in the hope that perhaps that loony preacher was right about an after life. Perhaps they were together now, in peace, enjoying the life this world had never given them.

Taking a few others things and her box of mementos he made his way over to his personal effects and added the crate to them. He would ship some home to her family with a carefully worded letter of condolences. It was not the best way to handle it, he would have rather addressed them in person but at least now they would know that their daughter was gone and not be left wondering for the rest of their lives if she was okay or not. It was horrid new to give a family but it was better than the unknown in his mind.

Anisa was growing impatient as the minutes ticked by and was about to turn and leave the docks to find a new buyer when the one she had made arrangements with finally showed his weasley face. "Well top of the mornin' to ya lass," he said as he tipped his bowler hat and spoke in in the worst cockney accent. Anisa had to stop from rolling her eyes.

"About time you showed up, I was about to call my other buyer."
