⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

The main rooms of my house currently look like the inside of an igloo. (Hosting a party this week, decorations started going up last week.)
Not really into the concept. I have done it in the past and it has worked but over all, not my favorite thing to do. Now having say a list of positions needed filled is one I do more often. Example: We need a pilot, engineer, doctor, etc. I will have to restrict allowing in certain genders from time to time if things become too lop sided. I try to keep a general over all population of no more than 40%/60% gender. Just don't want too much of one or the other to stay true to general population. Now, if it say a certain government type or religious fraction, it would sway over all more one way or another for various reasons but over all I like to stay as close to 50/50 down the line. (Might not seem like a big issue but I have had runs where we'd have like 12-15 females and like 2 men, lol. It's a bit unbelievable if you are trying to stick to a ~realistic scenario~ Used to get bad but for the most part these days I don't have to worry, my peeps are good at gender swapping.
New day is posted.
@Sigil Good to go, move her to the CS tab - starting location - that is open. Are you wanting to bring her in now or is she back up for if/when Foy/Harper bite it?

Jahosafat & Anisa

Location: Prometheus: Lower Deck: Medical (6), Lower Deck: Medical (6) -> Leaning against an escape pod (5)
Skills: Medical ]

Anisa stood there as they entered the medical bay and kept back a bit, ready to hand over anything that was needed that the two doctors couldn't get to quickly. Glancing over towards Harper she nodded a bit. "The med team has this under control. Do as the others. Breakfast, and prepare the ship for departure. We will be leaving dock either shortly or this evening," she said as she crossed her arms over her chest and watched the team work. If Atticus became stable they would leave shortly. If he died they would leave this evening after a small funeral for the man. Either way they were off planet today.

Jahosafat didn't pay attention to what Anisa and Harper were up to, he heard them but his attention was focused on Atticus. Asking Dorothy to move when needed as he tried to jump start the Preachers heart again. Over and over again he tried. NO pulse was sustained. It was a good twenty minutes after Harper left the room before Jahosafat took a step back and looked at the clock. He had to call it. He didn't want to but he had to. Some people just couldn't be saved, no matter how skilled the team was. "Time of death: 9:17 A.M."

Anisa stepped forward and rested her hand on the side of the bed where the corpse now lay. Taking a breath. "What the fuck happened to him?" she asked in a dark voice. Jahosafat shook his head as he stood there.

"At this moment I am unable to tell though it does not appear to be foul play. There are no signs of physical trauma nor apparent signs of poison. Do you wish an autopsy?" he asked in a professional manner.

"How long would that take?" she asked as she reached and brushed her fingers through the mans hair.

"Three to four hours depending on pathology, it could take days if an answer to this riddle becomes particularly perplexing."

"Do it, if you haven't given me a fucking answer by lunch, stop," she said before turning and exiting the room. Walking down the hallway a bit she stopped and leaned back against the wall. She needed a moment.

Jahosafat nodded and then glanced towards Dorothy. "If you have not already partaken in a morning meal may I suggest you do so now? or would you prefer to assist in the procedure? I can handle it if you would rather not," Jahosafat said in a kind voice. This was someone that Dorothy had known, a member of the crew from before he joined. He didn't know how close Atticus and Dorothy were but they seemed to have a bond of sorts. That could be difficult when performing such a task and since he was there, he was willing to do it alone to save her the pain.

Once everyone had turned in the night was blissfully uneventful, or at least as much so as those involved knew. Vera still had not emerged from her bedroom at the barracks, not even for breakfast yet. Spending most of her night sobbing in and out of sleep. George held a heavy heart and remained with her, tending to her as best he could. Mostly that had involved just being there for her and changing out a handkerchief every so often so she was not trying to wipe away her tears with a soaking wet piece of fabric.

Sitting in a chair on the other side of the room he watched her, his single eye keeping vigil. He could understand her sorrow or at least he thought he could. To lose someone you cared for was never easy. From what Peter had told him, he had cared a great deal for Vera and it seemed she in turn returned those feelings. What exactly Peter had felt for Vera, the world would perhaps never know. What Vera felt for Peter was only for her. She wasn't sobbing because she lost a love, she was sobbing because she lost a friend. She was sobbing because she had not loved him. He had come here for her and died. The guilt weighed heavily on her.

The tears had stopped and she was awake but she still didn't move. Just laying her bed, staring blankly at the wall across from her. George offered to go get her something to eat, to drink. She did not respond. He wasn't just going to leave her there. He only got up to open the door when there was a knock. a member of his majesties army standing there and informing them breakfast would be served for another hour. George nodded and shut the door. He would stay unless she told him to leave.

Others were still laying in bed. Akhmed being on of them but he was anything but sobbing. He laid on his back, a broad satisfied grin on his lips as he ran his fingers gently up and down a certain starlets back. What a night it had been. While others were in mourning, unbeknownst to him, he was in awe. Certainly he could have returned to his home once things were done but forgo awaking that morning with that luscious blond hair next to him? Never. He only finally stopped his hand moving when the knock came. Turning his head he called out what but there was no answer, just another knock.

Letting out a huff he sat up, letting his legs fall over the edge of the bed before rising and stepping to the door, swinging it open and not bothering to cover himself. "Yes?" he demanded. The man at the door just repeated what he had told George before walking off. Turning Akhmed shut the door and glanced back towards the goddess. "Shall we get something to eat? I have a feeling you are famished."

There was a knock at Nora's door, Aton was standing there with the push cart. Neema had left a small note on the breakfast tray for Nora letting her know she had a few things to tend to that morning but she would be back home this evening. Something had come up apparently, something Aton had no idea what it was. It seemed that Neema wasn't the only one that was busy that day. A certain red head was not at the food stand this morning. She was out for the day it seemed and would not be working that day. No answer at her door. Those she worked with were unsure when she would return, only that they had been informed she wasn't available to work today and had taken the day off. She was scheduled off the next two days as well, so the earliest they hoped to see her back was in three days time.

The city was buzzing, the smell of smoke hung heavy in the air and the morning papers read about a fire that had broken out at the statistics department the night before. The fire had burned through over half the building before it was contained and there was word in the paper of a death caused by the fire. It did not say who. Yet a message was sent to the barracks, addressed to a Lord Major Keystone from the Anglo-American hospital.

~Dear Sir,

We regret to inform you that there was in a fire at the Statistics Department last evening. Unfortunately one perished during the fire. The body itself is unidentifiable due to the fire but we were informed that the persons identity is a Lord Captain Peter Keystone of Englands Royal Air Force. Due to the non native nature of the deceased we require a member of staffed military or diplomatic of the United Kingdom to identify and claim the remains, otherwise they will be interned here in Cairo in an unmarked grave.

With Evelina tending to the front gate, it allowed the new woman to have a few moments with the other present Emendators as well as all these lovely new Paradoxes. Her ebony eyes turned slowly as Faith spoke, a single thin brow rising into a deep arch. "I would hope so. Normal is overrated. Though, one will find that what is normal for the spider is chaos to the fly. I do enjoy a bit of chaos." Her voice was cool as she spoke. Not in a traditional sense where it could leave one worried they had done something wrong but as if it was just a chilly feeling as words left her lips. As if death was speaking.

Seeing Nancy, the womans eyes seemed to twinkle with moonlight as she stepped towards her. Tiny steps due to the hobble dress which kept her legs bound to the knees. "Nancy, darling. Why don't you look positively sinful this evening," she said as she reached into the breast of her dress and pulled out a small golden relic. "I was in Denmark and came across this lovely little item. I say, they did not capture your mischievousness as well as they could but it is such a difficult thing to pin down," she said as she cupped it in the palm of her hand, her slender fingers opening to reveal it and offer it to Nancy.

"Oh my yes. Hanson, tis been some time since we have spoken," she said as she stood there, awaiting for Nancy to take the small trinket she had collected in her travels. Her eyes had not left Nancy, even as others spoke. Even as the offer of a drink was given. "Dry as the desert on a hot day, something cold, blood curdling if you would. Gilbert knows what I enjoy don't you darling," she said with a slight curl pulling at the corner of her lips.

Alicias hand slowly released from the plank of wood it was wrapping around as her eyes fell onto Gio. Okay, the sound she had heard wasn't someone or something coming to attack her. Granted she was not dumb enough to think Gio wouldn't attack her, or actually a better word would be reprimand her for sneaking off he way she did. Thing was, he didn't. Which worried her a bit. She knew it would be coming but since he wasn't doing it right now that left a queazy feeling in the pit of her stomach. At least if he had done it now, it would have been over and done with. Since he was waiting she had a feeling she would be getting one hell of an ear full when she got back. If not from him, from Evelina, even Gilbert. Nancy she doubted would have cared other than to tell her she was ticked she wasn't invited to run off.

The fact there was a Paradox there surprised her. What in the world was Bart doing there? He had just shown up this morning! Paradoxes never left the grounds this quickly! She had to sit and train for months before she had been let out for a simple mission. This was interesting and she could feel that he wasn't handling the situation well. Her empathy kicking into high gear. The poor thing wanted to throw up. She did to, blood loss was never fun. At least her memories of it in the past hadn't been. Sighing she nodded but she didn't reach up just yet. Finishing tying off the strip of cloth tight until she felt it would cut off the circulation for a bit she yanked out the piece of wood. "Hijo de las mil putas!!!" she grunted. That hurt like hell to say the least. Spitting off to the side she pushed her hair out of her face.

"Yeah, let's get the fuck out of here," she said as she reached out and grabbed a hold of Gios hand with her left and Barts hand with her right. A quick yank and she pulled herself into a hopping standing position, with a huge yelp of pain as she did. She felt a tingling her in her body. A dizziness. It seemed to flow from her right hand and up her arm, down to her core before spreading through out the rest of her body. "Ugh...what the shit..." she muttered.

Date: Monday May 23rd, 2017 - A New Day (Remember Time Zones)

It was a long night. For some it was longer than others. this was both in a metaphorical and literal sense. Several had boarded planes during the evening and flow back east towards a little town known as Grimm Indiana. This shortened the night be several hours thanks to time zones. Others were still in Justice or Mexico. So their night was not. Yet did it really matter what was going on hour wise, each had their own reasons why no matter how many hours the night was, it was just long.

Natasha slept through the night and ready to go come early the next morning. The old lady they had rented the room from was kind enough to have a breakfast waiting on them when they emerged from their room. The night had been long for Natasha. She hadn't felt well and running around constantly in travel wasn't doing her healing any good but she kept up a decent front. She was feeling a bit better this morning and double checked Cecily's wound to make sure it was healing right. Things looked good. Today, hopefully they would cross the border without issue and be back in the states. Even if it was Texas, it was still safer than Mexico in her mind, especially safer than Justice.

Ross had gotten the himself and Iris a private flight to Justice. They wouldn't have to stop in Indianapolis and hitch a ride. Being who he was had its advantages. They had traced the helicopter to a private air strip out side of Justice but the helicopter had been put down there and it seemed a plane had been stolen and flow east before they lost its signal. Barney was sure of where they were going, it was the best lead he had. As dawn broke the light started filling the planes cabin. "Yeah boss, an hour before touch down," one could hear on the over head speaker. The pilot letting them know how far out they were. Barney had only slept a short amount of time, otherwise staring out the window rubbing his chin on and off.

Zoie and Relic were passed out cold through the night, even as Trisha knocked at the door and then slowly opened it. She set down a tray of food quietly before stepping back out and closing the door behind her. Relic rolled over in his place, seemed it didn't even make him stir. Zoie on the other hand looked over at the door as it closed while Trisha was leaving and just lay there. Slowly turning her head and looking at the ceiling, a short huff came out of her lips as she stared blankly. She wasn't ready to sit up just yet.

Queensguard had been taken care of and over night the place had been cleaned up. During the clean up, both on the 4th floor and in the main hall, the system as well. They had found evidence that the system had been broken into but they couldn't figure out yet what was accessed. They knew things were accessed but it looked like they accessed everything. Everything. Was this because they wanted everything or was it just easier to cover ones tracks to access everything than to try to wipe away that only certain files were accessed? Probably the latter.

The plane that Roy and the girls were on set down. Roy finally stirred and yawned as the seatbelt sign was turned off. He didn't bother to move until most of the rest of those on the flight had cleared out. Then he finally stood up and stretched. "Ugh... Now I know why they call it a fucking red eye... Ready to find our ride?" he asked as he pulled one of his bags from the over head. He had to hit baggage claim to pick up the rest of his stuff. Their ride was waiting at the gate. It wasn't something people could do much anymore thanks to 9/11 but he was a cop and had a badge, saying it was official business made it easier to get to the gate. Sitting in one of the seats he kept his eye on the door leading out to the plane for Riley. He was pretty obvious since he was in his uniform. Grimm PD's finest....

Down in Mexico Maria was up. She had Liam on her hip and had finished breakfast. There were several suitcases packed and at the front door waiting. Walking up to Caesars room she kicked the door with the toe of her heels. "Caesar. ¿Estás despierto? Vamanos," she called through the door. She wouldn't have been surprised if he was asleep. She wouldn't have been surprised if he was awake. It could have gone either way that morning.

Eden

Location: Eden: Hallway near Fitness Doors, Lower Lobby
Skills: Survival, Pistol, Close Combat Fighting, Shotgun, Brawling, Hunting

Things were moving along as well as one could hope. Thana gave a nod to Thalia as she came up to her. Someone had her flanks, this was good. Even though it hadn't crossed her mind much since they had arrived in Eden, she did have plans. Plans to meet up with the rest of Newnan and head south. How many were left were anyones guess but there was one she knew was alive before they had headed to this hell on Earth. Ash. He had her dog tags and she was determined to get them back. They were not something she let go of easily. He better be around when this shit show was over for her to retrieve.

Gavin wanted people to have survived Newnan but his main focus was on Thana. She was out of his line of sight right then and there was a gnawing feeling in the pit of his stomach. He never liked that feeling. It was one of those gut things. When you knew shit was about to go wrong. That feeling people used to get when the phone rang at 2 a.m. in the morning, or there was someone in your family showing on your caller id in the middle of the day on a Tuesday. When you prepared yourself for the worst as you said hello. Rushing Gavin moved through the parlor to catch up with the girls.

Spotting Thana as she moved from the lower lobby to the hallway near the doors of the fitness center. He walked out of the Parlor and nodded towards Thalia and Beatrice. They were still kicking it seemed. Maybe that feeling was for nothing. Then it happened and it was so stupid that it did. Thana had let her mind wander for all of half a second, missing a single door to check that was wide open. She had thought nothing of it. The doors were open, nothing had caught her attention out of the corner of her eye so she had kept moving. She should have stopped she should have checked.

It all happened so fast. A deranged looking man carrying an automatic rifle came out of the room Thana had failed to check and sprayed the place. From right to left, sending a fury of bullets this way and that. The first ones tore into Thana and she hit the ground. They tore through the wood and sheetrock, over towards the the other three. Gavin aimed and took fire as he stepped forward. Screaming as he pulled the trigger. It caught the man in the shoulder and he dropped the weapon. Gavin had stopped screaming and kept walking, but each step he took was slower than the one before until he was on his knees, a trail of blood matching the pool Thana was laying in marking his steps. Where either of them still breathing?
