Once upon a time, I used to cheer for May the 4th... now I cry with disappointment. *Except Clone Wars S7 and the Mandalorian - they are awesome*

@MsMorningstar I agree with her recommendations for the most part.

Other than that, he looks fine. Just change those powers and you'll be good to go. You can keep the profile and post, but for the future, please let GMs review your profile first before doing your thing. That's the standard you'll see in all RPs here on the guild.
@RisingSun I did not give you permission for you to post into the IC. Please have your character accepted before posting it in the CS and going forward.

On that note, I do apologize for not reviewing this sooner. I'm discussing this with my fellow GM as we speak.

As the panicked staff began mumbling to themselves about the current situation, Matthias began to pace slowly to the left with his head leaning downwards.

"We've now been thrown into the fires of war without proper preparation." he replied in a somewhat grimly tone, "Whatever that ultrasonic frequency did, we're certain that it the culprit for the devastation that you see before you."

Dr. Davis would only remain silent as she continued watching the compilations of the titans emerging from their slumber. She began to worry about her family back home in Manhattan - her beloved husband and her sweet daughters of two. She felt uneasily queasy at the thought of a titan invading her family residence, but while it hasn't appeared to happen as of yet - at least according to the confirmed locations on screen - they would no doubt be fearful of their city being hit next. And if so, their chances to survive the onslaught would be slim.

She tried to swallow her overwhelming dread before looking back to her superior.

"I will not keep much of your time in such desperate hours," Matthias continued with urgency, "For our time has run out. We must act immediately to save civilization as we know it. The AMF forces here are already preparing their forces to hit the worst offenders, but we need eyes on the ground to keep tabs on the others."

He'd then point towards the masses.

"Each of you has been assigned to a primary specimen," he said, "Each according to your expertise on creatures relating to them. You will study them. Track them. And you will feed every ounce of information that you can obtain from them to us. The more we know about who we're facing against, the faster we can determine in recontaining them. Any information is critical, no matter how big or small, can turn the tide towards our favor. Further orders will be released accordingly. Any questions? If not, proceed to your designated stations and join up with the AMF forces in the hangar and prepare for your departure. Dismissed."

Now being released, Dr. Davis would quickly confirm her placement and rush towards the hangars. The ospery and Chinook helicraft and stationed opened their doors to flock their respected passengers to the scene, each numerically labeled according to help guide their passengers. It was time to save the world - now or never.

Horus' haughty bellow reached loud and far, seemingly without equal, as he only heard the faint sounds of the panicked masses emanating from the city below. Still, he was confused as to why the locals defied him. His subjects were fleeing, while metal birds attempt to ward him away. Were they built to mock his own image? Did they not have a clue as to whom they faced? Surely they would pay for their traitorous deception against him.

Yet what Horus wasn't expecting was a response of equal vigor. So when he heard a piercing shriek echo from beyond the dunes, the creature ceased his initial actions. He perked his head up cautiously in the roar's direction, identifying it to the southeast. But it was a sound that he recognized oh so acutely. A scream immortalized within his psyche.

It was the unmistakable voice of the dreaded chaos god... the one and only Apophis.

A gurgling growl of disgust escaped his hooked break before he shifted his mass southwards, his clawed feet clenched firmly into the ancient rock of old Khufu's grand monument. Normally he would be facing his enemy with a fellow god or two - usually teaming up with fellow sun god Ra, whom the chaos god abhorred - yet now he finds himself alone. No matter. He did not fear this false god; this imbalance towards the natural order.

Another bellow raptured from his armored gullet, as he spread his wings and waited for the serpent to face him. He will not surrender the Kingdom of Egypt to the forces of chaos and he will protect it with or without his loyal subjects helping him.

Blocking out the sun, a swarm of thousands of bats flew over the great green sea of trees that laid below them. Their shrieks deafened the natural ambience around them as mother Camazotz flew above her numerous children. Her cries were the loudest of them all, as she lead the great crusade to their next objective. Yet scouring them from a distance, a group of jets had been dispatched from TERRA to observe the scene but were strictly ordered not to attack. Apart from the fact that the bat goddess' spawn would easily overwhelm them if not for her majesty alone, her projected course towards Mexico City was suddenly halted by a previously unknown event to the southwest. As if responding to the crisis, Camazotz changed course to intercept with this disturbance.

Her estimated course was unknown, but whatever it happened to be, the bat goddess was flying towards with great urgency. After all, her hearing had been estimated to be acute to the point where she could detect the sound of a pin drop from several miles away. So whatever she heard, it must've been loud enough for her to notice. And indeed, once as TERRA was able to project her estimated course, everything would finally make sense.

She was on a collision course with another titanic monster - this one being in the form of Ceres.

Upon reaching its location, Camazotz shriek echoed through the jungle followed by the cacophony of replies coming from her swarm. The morteptera swarm would descend onto the battlefield, engulfing it with their numerous presence. However, while a few bats engage the humans, the majority were focused directly onto the nature titan himself. They flocked onto Ceres' body, scratching and biting at his hide with their abnormally large fangs. Letting them do their thing, the bat goddess would circle the scene from the sky as she carefully eyed the action.

The whale beast's blubbery mass lunged towards Wechuge with surprising speed, yet his opponent dodged swiftly and attempted to retaliate with several swipes of his massive forearms. Narrowly avoiding his jagged claws, Akhlut slid across the ice with his blackened nails scratching the frozen surface before turning to face his old rival. The beast squinted towards his polar adversary with gleaming grey pupils, a grimace that spoke louder than anything the bear could bellow at. The amphibious beast needed no introduction, nor anything else to say to him. All it desired was to beat Wechuge and that was all.

Wechuge's display of dominance didn't deter Akhlut, rather increasing his intense immense hatred towards the behemoth specimen. He bellowed his own symphonic call before jerking his head downwards and unleashing a concentrated beam of pressurized water towards Wechuge. If the creature was to dodge, he would proceed to aim his beam towards him, hellbent on punching a hole through his furry exterior from as far as a distance as possible.

"Ohgodohgodohgod..."

As the destruction raged outside the crumbling station, Dr. Jacquline Mills was scrounging through the chaos with all of her notes in hand. She struggled to keep them within her grasp, almost stumbling as a thunderous tremor rippled through the building. All the while, alarms were blaring straight into her ears to the point where she could barely hear the titanic conflict taking place outside. It may deafen her to the sounds of war, but hell did it do jack shit when it came to minimize the crippling feeling of it.

Jacqui thought that one titan was bad enough - but for two to show up? The privilege to see the two combat each another - let alone see her favorite blubbery cetacean in action - was too much for her to bare. And while she'd love to take notes on the thunderous Akhlut, her life seemed far more valuable to TERRA than a frozen corpse hidden underneath the rubble.

Jacqui orders were clear from the very start of this madness. She, along with the rest of the staff, were ordered to evacuate the premises via the helicopters situated outside the premises. She only hoped that the two monsters could keep their distance and NOT crush them while they were at it. Still, there were no promises made to spare her life from this chaos.

As she darted around the corner, Jacqui would suddenly come face to face with Elena. In her panic, she failed to watch where she was going and clumsily collided with her, dropping all of her notes on the floor and forcing her onto the floor.

"Oof!" she grunted before she realized all the paper scattered across the floor. She gasped as she hastily attempted to gather them all. "Oh god, I'm so sorry!" she profusely apologized in an utter rambling as she was on her knees, "Just save yourself, don't worry about me!"

Giza, Egypt

Far to the north, below the massive pyramids of Giza that towered into the heavens, the city below was only just recovering from the minor tremor that rippled through them. Still, despite the minor damage that Giza had suffered, everything seemed to be going as usual - if not for the minor delays in shipping out important goods. Even the great pyramids still stood, showing very minor -rather insignificant - damage to their ancient limestone foundation. They stood the tests of time for thousands of years and there they remain for perhaps another several thousand years. All seemed as if nothing had happened.

Then came a thunderous roar that echoed throughout the desolate sands beyond. It's magnitude caused the ground below the shocked residents to vibrate, with pebbles bouncing and legs nearly tripping. Now the civilians halted everything they were doing and looked to the southeast. People looked into the dusty skies - from the ground to their rooftops - as they saw a large cloud of sand approach their humble residency. Crimson light would begin to peer through the dust before revealing Horus' approaching upon Giza.

An elderly man wobbled his fragile frame towards the great god, dropping his wooden cane, as he raised his hands to the sky. His eyes were wild in disbelief and his jaw unhinged.

"انه يأتي! انه يأتي! لقد حان حورس العظيم! (He comes! He comes! The great Horus has come!)" the man cried ecstatically.

Yet the others did not share his sympathy. They screamed in dreadful terror as they abandoned their stations and ran the opposite way. Another booming call came from the crimson demon as the giant pterosaur began to fly closely beside the great pyramids, his great mass causing hurricane-force winds to blow over the puny huts below. He narrowly missed destroying the great landmarks of history, almost as if it was his intention to miss them. Yet he showed no mercy to the inhabitants below, with people and debris flying in the gale-force winds as they helplessly tried to cling onto anything aground.

Even the local military was powerless to halt the massive pterosaur's advance. Their missiles proved worthless in penetrating Horus' thick sturdy scales and against the titan's heat beam, they would be instantly incinerated upon colliding with it. After proving his dominance and destroying most of the city, Horus then landed on one of the great Pyramids before once again issuing a booming territorial call and raising his wings high into the air. He has reclaimed Giza as his new territory, upon a great wonder of the ancient world.

And he will not let anyone take his glorious city from him... no matter the cost.

A single blast of a powerful water jet from his blowhole was enough to have the whale-beast Akhlut break out of Outpost 4. Bursting from his millennia-long frozen sarcophagus from within the ice, the titanic beast emerged from the frozen waters and leapt out with a sudden burst of speed. He leapt over the very outpost that had imprisoned him before he dove right back into the water, breaking the thick ice as he descended.

As he swam beneath the ice, he could sense a familiar foe nearby, one that he knew all too well. His nemesis was near and that very feeling made his cold-blooded exterior run hot with rage. His taste for freedom was now at risk due to that giant bear's presence. It was not too late for him to flee - afterall, his movement was far superior in water. He could dart deeper into the water and pop out at a more peaceful location. But at the same time, he felt obliged to fight him - wanting to prove him dominance towards the lumbering oaf.

Akhlut would turn back around, following Wechuge's scent. His lumbering footsteps above shook the very ice above him, providing him to pinpoint where the great bear was. And once he figured out his location, the whale-wolf would dive several hundred meters into the pitch-black abyss. Within moments, Akhlut was swimming upwards at an accelerated pace before he burst through the ice above. The titan lunged towards Wechuge with his maw open and his arms stretched towards him, letting out a terrible roar as he attempted to pounce upon his furry, land-lubbering, nemesis.
As promised, I posted!

Titanica followed the little Harpy willingly as they made it to the town of Ambran. Despite the staring that was concentrated upon them, the titan showed no worry or care for the natives. She was used to them giving her unusual stares and in response she simply didn't look at them back. She considered it more as a mutual agreement - they may look, but they may not touch. She will leave them alone so as long as they keep their distance. Once they received their pay, the three would proceed to eat a well deserved meal, with Titanica chomping down on the town's cooked meat - from barbequed chicken, to rare-steak (her favorite), and other hearty delights - including some seafood delicacies.

Of course, she was so into her meal, she almost brushed aside a voice that was directed at her general vicinity. Yet while Haley and Vãra took care of the traveler - later revealed to be a knight called Sam Scout - all the titan did was stare before returning to her meal. She was not in the mood for complying with others at the moment. However, she still kept a stray ear to listen to the conversation...

And then she heard Haley's voice mutter that he was an Ortusian knight.

Or more precisely, a knight pursuing espionage for his master.

Titanica had no idea what was an Ortusian or where they are in the globe, but she believed that whatever he wanted it wasn't going to be good. She dropped her meaty rib to glare at the opposing knight before slowly standing up. However by that time, the knight had retreated from the table to 'supposedly' pay for their meals.

Haley, who revealed she was an Ortusian, ordered for the two to make their way to the exit. The titan would look back into the crowd one last time, as if hoping to spot the knight, before complying.

"Who are these so-called 'Ortusians' you speak of?" Titanica asked curiously with a low growl, "You yourself say to be one of them, yet speak of maliciousness to said knight. I take it he bares ill?"

Morgan's impulsive response wasn't necessarily mean't to be taken with utter malevolency, rather it was more of a warning that Darren was dealing with powers he perhaps did not recognize fully. As a shaman of nature, she believed that nature in her entirety was enough to satisfy any illness that comes to affect. Still, his seemingly ignorant attitude towards all this definitely set her off just a tad. And one thing was for certain...

Mankind still had a long way to go with discovering medicine.

Darren fumbled to collect their reward and after apologizing he hastily returned to his lab to improve on his 'Huwana'. As soon as he was gone, Morgan had to recollect herself. She took several deep breaths, regulating her heart rate and blood flow, before she found herself at peace once more. Yet strangely, she could feel her amulet glowing a faint golden light upon her chest. Morgan proceeded to fumble around with it before glancing at it. She hadn't felt it glow for several millennia... so why was it~?

"Neil! Take off your clothes!"

Morgan's concentration would be severed as she turned to see the Altissima sisters panicking over Neil, who was covered in a slimy nectar. The moth girl seemed somewhat confused herself as to why they were panicking so profusely, still somewhat dazed by her amulet.

"Do you know what Alraune nectar does to humans, especially men?"

Then it suddenly hit Morgan like the great eagle in her hallucinogenic vision. Her experience with Alraunes were limited, yet she can remember taking care of a few with her clan.

"Morgan! You know what my nectar does, right? Help me undress Neil!"

That she knows. She knows all too well of what aphrodisiac properties their nectar contains. And with it being smeared all over Neil - a still developing human boy - the consequences for him would be damning if they didn't do something to rid him of said substance in time. The boy was already apologizing profusely, yet it didn't stop him from growing incredibly flustered and heated like a beat.

With her daze finally being extinguished, Morgan nodded as her hands surged in archaic magic and pointed them at the tensed-up boy. Niel would be restrained by invisible hands by his wrists and ankles, before finding himself being quickly lifted a few feet into the air via levitation. Then, with a sudden motion of her hands, Morgan stretched her arms to the side, ripping off the clothes clean from the boy's body. He would be fully nude at this point. Then Morgan slowly had him descend back to the ground, allowing the Altissma sisters to get to work on whatever needs to be done.
My post was supposed to come out today, but my sleep schedule got screwed over. Rest assured, a post will be out tomorrow (along with other posts elsewhere). Things are already dying down anyways.
@Star Lord As discussed, these two kaiju are visually very similar to their respected inspirations - one being more so than the other. However, given that at least one is technically gonna be a throwaway, I could let them fly as neat little visual cameos to other sources of media. Even if that won't be the case, it still wouldn't matter much - but these will be the only exceptions. So on that note, both are accepted.

@Lmpkio Posing this question again.

Ok first off Join the Discord

And secondly... I mean, you can say it sorta did - but it wasn't like super popular until now.
@Shoryu

Hey Shoryu! So, as for your characters, I was going to wait until we got the history to add my input but I'm not sure when that'll come in so I'll just tell you what I'm seeing now.

As far as Grinder goes, I really like the concept but there a just a few issues.
  • He's very large, 140 meters when not hunched over is a bit much. 100 meters when standing straight would be more appropriate.
  • Mineral Shaping is fine as far as when the crystals are on his body, however flinging them through the air and shaping them seems pretty unrealistic. If he could just shape them on his body to become sharp armor that may make more sense.
  • If you're still looking for a long range attack, you could extend the range of the beam he has. Also, an explanation on how he varies the beam's power could be a great addition.

I agree with what is said here.

For a mole kaiju of his stature, I also feel like he should be smaller.
And I also agree with the mineral shaping and long range attacks.

I'm also VERY curious as to what his "One Secret Crippling weakness" is. You might wanna run it by us GMs just to be sure it'll be fair.

As far as Gaia is concerned, I only have one small issue:
  • So, for the shaping of its body, making a shield or blade out of the metal coating doesn't make as much sense as the other attributes you included for the shaping. Making spikes form all over its frame, or upping the durability of the parts it uses to stomp/beat the other kaijus could be a good alternative.

That's all I've got to add!

For Gaia...

I'm just going to say this right now but... I'm not a fan of the MLP design of the character. It wouldn't fit with the grittiness of this RP - one based off the Monsterverse and other classic kaiju series. I strongly advice in changing his design just so it can fit with the RP. Unless you want to heavily specify that the pic above doesn't necessarily represent the cartoonish design.

Other then that, Gaia seems fine for now. However this character would be better fit for a future arc. Might wanna keep it in storage in the mean time.
