Current To those I RP with, I haven't dropped off of the face of the earth, just had a mental health crash but am recovering. Now to catch up on posting.

The worst thing about mental illness is you have to look after yourself a disgusting amount. I know it's the only way to actually be in a fit state to look out for others, but it still feels wrong.

Judging by the Internet's definitions of introversion and extraversion, you'd think everyone's either an extreme hermit or a party animal with no in between.

Bio

A frazzled British thirtysomething cat mum with something of a tea addiction.

I like a wide range of RP genres, but have two absolute favourites: Pokemon and magical girls. (If someone manages to combine the two, I'll be VERY happy!) I post fairly regularly, but sometimes shit mental health days crop up - if that causes any delays, I'll try to resume posting ASAP.

@SimpleWriter @TheWindel @KoL Yay, thanks! I'll move her over to the character tab.
Sorry I took so long, some stuff came up, but here's my CS:

Amber Pine

Mesalon Pokecentre

@Dusksong

Amber looked up from the claw marks to her friend, who took back the stone. "Thanks for the offer, but it's probably best if you hold on to it," she told her. "Maybe I shouldn't collect any rare crystals until Alma's better trained."

As Aedre took the blame, Amber shook her head. "No, no need, it's not your fault, Almandine's my responsibility." She stood up, but the other trainer was already heading towards the first employee she spotted. Hearing their brief conversation, Amber relaxed a little.

She sat back down, smiling up at Aedre as she returned. "Ah, good. Seems like this is just another hurdle beginner trainers have to face." Resting her hand on the green Pokeball, she added, "Still, I'll have to teach her to respect public property. As well everyone's property for that matter."

When Aedre asked about plans, Amber tilted her head, thinking over what still needed to be done in Mesalon before she left for Vareena. The caves to explore had been the main thing to draw her interest, but yesterday's encounter - informative as it had been - wasn't something she wanted to risk repeating. "Well, I guess all that's left for me to do here is the gym battle," she replied, then glanced at her Pokemon. "Got to make sure you're all prepared though..." She trailed off. One of the five was missing.

"Tacita? Where'd you go Tacita?" Turning her head, she groaned at the sight before her. On the table, where her last piece of croissant had been, was an empty plate. Right next to it, the Rowlet preened crumbs from her feathers and gave her trainer the most innocent look she could.

"Ahem." Amber fixed her with a glower. "Looks like Almandine isn't the only one I need to teach a thing or two. Just what is it with thieving Pokemo..." Remembering the Sneasel footprint, she stopped, her face an awkward rictus as she shifted her eyes towards Aedre. Her friend hadn't needed that reminder.

"Ehh, sorry." She rubbed the back of her neck. "I wasn't referring to... that. I'm guessing you'd rather focus on other things for now."

Jumping on board, I should have a character within the next few days depending on schedule, probably a hero since there are so many villain applications.
*raises hand* Hey, it's Fer's friend here! I decided on hospitaler paladin, if that's ok.

Been a while since I've played Pathfinder, so I'm a little rusty and may need help, but this looks fun :)
❅❄ Fuyuko Yamazaki ❄❅

@VitaVitaAR

Fuyuko, no stranger to embarrassing incidents herself like that earlier series of blunders, gave an awkward smile of her own. "It's ok. You guessed right, at least."

Well, this confirmed it, she acknowledged with a sinking heart. Taking on her regular appearance didn't make her much less conspicuous. What if someone not quite so friendly as the armoured girl figured it out? Worse, what if they saw an ordinary girl on her way to or from a friend's place, and jumped to the wrong conclusion? Would the Hex Night, the very event supposed to protect people, end up causing them harm?

No, they wouldn't risk it, Fuyuko told herself. Everyone taking part knew the rules about secrecy, and about not endangering lives. These reassurances, no matter how much she mentally repeated them, failed to quell her fears.

Her eyebrows furrowed as she listened to the warrior's explanation. Someone spying on magical girls? Was the masked watcher connected to a Hex Night participant, keeping an eye on the competition for her? "They certainly gave off a creepy feeling," Fuyuko murmured. "They just stood there, staring. So still and quiet. Then, when I spoke to them, they fled into the forest."

Was it a good idea to go looking for the watcher? Considering the way her sister had reacted, probably not. Regardless, if the gauntlet wielder was set on seeking them out, Fuyuko wasn't going to stay behind. A potential threat to magical girls couldn't be ignored.
Jessamyn "Jess" Bailey

Panic and anger bubbled through Jess' professional facade like water boiling over. She clenched her fists behind the desk, ribs tightening as she struggled not to hyperventilate. What had this creep asked of Roxy for her to react like this?

The customer frowned in concern. "Is everything ok?" he asked, his manner polite and gentle despite his intimidating appearance.

Jess nodded. "Yeah, it's..." She trailed off as the man in the suit strode past. Only now did she realise part of the shivery sensation running through her body was excitement, not just fear. The thought made her want to throw up. "It's nothing." She nearly gasped at the sound of her own words, spat like venom. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean for it to sound like that," she blurted as the leather-clad man's eyes widened. She tried to inhale deeply, only for the air to rush back out. "What I meant was, there's no need to worry."

Just then, Roxy reappeared, cursing under her breath. The anchor was in no fit state to deal with a customer right now, as Jess knew all too well. If that just now had only been a fraction of what Roxy had experienced, just how bad had things gotten, and how bad were things going to get?

"Ah, hey," Jess called, attempting to act normal again, even though her efforts had already gone out of the window. Trying to force her expression into a mask of composure, she turned back to the customer. "Thank you for your patience," she said, not just referring to how long he'd waited, as she reached for the notebook and pen. "So, what is it you need doing?"

As he spoke, she scribbled down notes and details. Full motorcycle service. Her stomach sank all over again. It wasn't the customer's fault, but a complex task wasn't likely to help matters right now, unless Roxy viewed it as a distraction.
❅❄ Fuyuko Yamazaki ❄❅

@VitaVitaAR

Hearing footsteps, Fuyuko spun round, ready to transform at a moment's notice. Sure enough, on a nearby roof was a magical girl, sporting armoured boots and a huge mechanical gauntlet. If she were to pick a fight, she'd surely be a formidable opponent. Instead of attacking, though, the girl addressed her with a question. One about the stranger in the woods.

Fuyuko weighed the options in her mind. Without Noriko and Kiyoshi around, she couldn't be sure of the armoured warrior's intentions. Who was to say this wasn't some kind of trick? Then again, if the gauntlet wielder really did need help, she wasn't going to deny assistance to a fellow magical girl.

"Um... hello. Yes, just a few minutes ago they were..." She pointed in the direction of the hill. "In the forest, near the shrine. They didn't stick around long though. Do you know who this person may be, and and what they want?"

She recalled her sister's description of the stranger - cold and empty - before piping up again.

"Also, if I may ask..." She glanced down at her nondescript clothing, then looked back up. "How did you know I'm a magical girl?" To most, she figured, a teen wandering alone after dark would be something of an odd sight, but how had this girl been able to tell for sure? A frisson of paranoia crept over her. Was this how Sophia had felt upon being detected?
@AtomicNut Spice is busy with exams right now, but I'll give her a friendly reminder and see if she can look over the CS. If not, hopefully she'll be free again before long.
@VitaVitaAR Ok, I'm up for an NPC being sent Fuyuko's way!
