Bio

Current GM of World of Light. When it comes to writing, there's nothing I love more than imagination, engagement, and commitment. I'm always open to talk, suggestion, criticism, and collaboration. While I try to be as obliging, helpful, and courteous as possible, I have very little sympathy for ghosts, and anyone who'd like to string me along. Straightforwardness is all I ask for.

Looking for more personal details? I'm just some dude from the American south; software development is my job but games, writing, and trying to help others enjoy life are my passions. Been RPing for over a decade, starting waaaay back with humble beginnings on the Spore forum, so I know a thing or two, though I won't pretend to be an expert. If you're down for some fun, let's make something spectacular together.

Well, Gren, Shiro, and Sangue going on their plot can be nondescript. Also unless I wasn't told yet, @Nytem4re is still active too, just waiting.

That thought did plague me, but I mentioned him two weeks ago, trying to apologize and see if I could work to integrate him back int other RP, but I did not receive a response. I don't want to reach for another hasty conclusion about his presence, however, so I'll continue to hold off inferring anything from that.
@Lugubrious There's a decent chunk of stuff that's going on right now. The cruise, for example, is a subplot too.

Yes, but would you say that prevents the rest of the RP moving forward? Could that subplot, conceivably, continue to be posted for normally (perhaps with a header that reminds the reader that it occurs in the past) while the majority of other students move to IC Saturday, or Monday? That's what I'm asking: not what is there, but what is there that anchors the RP to the present day.
....Heck of a day for early-morning screwups. @Awesomoman64, please refer to the post before my previous one.
Ah, rats, I messed up the mention: @SuperCustodiam, please refer to my previous post.
Alright

This will be an noteworthy post.

Firstly, with the acceptance of Crimson Raven's sheet, every member of the brand-new team (@Asuras @Crimson Raven @Caasicam [@SuperCustodian]) is approved for action and able to post! Once again, I apologize to each of you for the roundabout path it's taken to get you here, but I sincerely hope you'll enjoy your time with us. When you decide on a team name and leader, let me know so that I may add you to the roster in the characters tab.

Secondly, the new edits to the OP have been in place for a little while now, and I'm guessing that everyone's gotten a chance to review them. I'd be interested to know what people think.

Thirdly, and in accordance with the new anti-linearity of time clause that's existed for a while but now been formally acknowledged in the OP's new edits, I wanted to let @Guess Who [@Awsomoman64] and @Lazo know that you're absolutely free to write now, or whenever you want, about things happening in the future where your characters would be in a better position to act.

However, making a stew out of time as a solution to this problem is not enough. I want to ask @Everyone, what are you planning to do on the current IC Saturday that prevents the RP as a whole from moving forward, and how much time do you think it will last? I'm anxious to not stay on this day much longer. For instance, I think that the interaction between Abel and Krysanthe has gone well enough to not need any more replies following @Eklispe's next response, and the more uneventful remainder of the hike can be written about retroactively. I think we're all at least a little eager to move into the myriad events of IC Monday.
Abel Fulgurate
@Eklispe

Long before the Redcap, in its bestial fury to mutilate Abel, remembered the second student that challenged it, Krysanthe was in the air. A full-force stomp, delivered to the core of its body, floored the Grimm. While it didn't sink into the ground, its legs splayed out to the side, their odd angle suggesting that whatever bones supported them had been shattered. The soon-to-be huntress hardly stopped there, however, and with the threat pacified and poised to suffer its punishment, Abel relaxed his stance to watch. Like a flying, golden guillotine, wreathed in water and locked into a crazy spin, she fell from above to obliterate the Grimm's head beneath her heel. Clear chitin and chunks of black-streaked, red meat flew in every direction as her axe kick's power carried her halfway through the Grimm's body before her momentum ceased. It was fortunate that the fresh corpse would be dissolving imminently, for extricating her leg from the gooey mess might have been problematic.

It melted away into inky ashes, and Abel flicked a fuming fleck from his jacket. He nodded in approval. “Super good!” Would that his word choice was as praiseworthy. “That was more teamwork than got done my whole first mission.” A glum frown stained his features. “Which is depressing.”

Selecting a random, though non-gulchward direction, he started to walk. After a few seconds of gears spinning in his head, he turned his head slightly to say, “You know, aside from your friend Sienna's injury, and the...um, other girl's alcohol craving, your team seems like a pretty close bunch. Mind, uh, mind telling me about them?” He brushed a bead of sweat from his brow with the back of his hand. Fitting, that armed combat wouldn't pose as much of an arduous problem as making conversation.
Basically, I'm very happy to have contributed when I did, and I'm happy with what my character added to the world, but I lost interest a very long time ago. I think it must have become too much for me to handle. If I have any capacity to make a request, it would be to not brutally kill Slough off, and if she's thought of, to be thought of as an eternal wanderer, still unwittingly bringing life to wherever the other gods may beckon her. In that sense, all of you are perfectly free to use her for your own purposes. It's the most fitting to me that the brainless animalistic goddess, having done the most for creation at its inception and doing her part merely by living in the world, would fade into a background presence.

I suppose since I replied, I should take the time to say goodbye. So long, folks. I'll be keeping my eyes on you, Bbeast and Cyclone. I'll not be forgetting about either of you any time soon, don't you worry.
@Lugubrious What hast hath happened to thee, sir? Wherefore didst thee disappeareth?

To greener pastures.
Eventually I'll weigh as much as a normal 5'11.5" adult. Someday...
Oh. Somehow I've never seen that guide. I wonder if it's a new addition?
