@Noodles - Not what I had in mind but that post works! Thanks! Yeah, we're early enough we can just pretend she was there the whole time. ^-^

Edit: Ugh, life.. and being super tired. I'll try my absolute best to post tomorrow!
I really should reply - I'll try working on that today!
@Noodles@BubblegumQueen@Deos Morran@SimpleD@Holy Grail - Ah, right, there's only five of us left, huh? Besides the newest addition of Noodles. I'll work on a reply today! I'm really sorry - I would've sworn we had another player. Ugh, oh well. All I can say is that I super appreciate you guys sticking around and will be moving Sofia's story along some more as well as including a plot hook for @Noodles. With that being said, once I post, feel free to have your characters do whatever for the most part. There is definitely an over-arcing plot, but you'll see it in time. =3

Elise had glanced to Fionn before wandering over to the crystal ball, though Scarlett had been standing by all the bottles until they were all distracted, only to defiantly poke at just one more potion before hopping over next to the trio. After the images had splashed across the crystal ball, the warrior stood up and raised an eyebrow. "... so.. we're heading to a ruin with a bunch of undead.. and saying we'll end up facing some great evil?" Slowly, she crossed her arms. "I'm sure you're telling the truth, but.. how useful is that, really?" She looked over to Fionn then. "I'm not sure what you expected to find here captain, but he hasn't been able to see anything we couldn't figure out ourselves.. but I guess he's coming along? No doubt your doing.." At the last quip, she smirked slightly to the man.

Scarlett seemed to stare into the ball a bit longer than the other, brows furrowed as if she knew something the others didn't, but didn't share right away. Eventually she stood straight and pursed her lips in worry, brushing a strand of hair from her eyes. She looked to Elise and then Fionn, nodding. "I think.. we need all the help we can get.. I just.. get a feeling that we'll need it." To that, she smiled gently to the orc. "Thank you for showing us.. I somehow feel like there was a purpose in it, though.. I'm not sure what it is." She pondered her own words before shrugging.
@Wind Wild@CollectorOfMyst - I enjoyed it... =3

Glancing to Sonya, she went ahead and signed the contract, which didn't seem all that involved outside of splitting up rewards for the most people - and of course to follow Silas' command or else risk being expelled, which seemed normal. Before she knew it though, they were packing up and heading out - it felt like a flash and the day went by quickly.

About midday, she was quickly told to follow Silas, quickly telling her that she was going to be the lieutenant - to which she had little time to truly absorbed. Still, she listened to Commander Rexar and Silas converse and everything went smoothly before the commander right out hired the group. Though Odessa cared very little that Silas was once a slave, she was glad the commander would keep it a secret, if anything for the man's sake. As the days went by, she got more used to being a lieutenant, though the days were filled with study, learning, and practice scenarios with Silas. He was fairly serious about teaching her and she picked up the basics decently, though didn't have the chance to really catch Sonya sadly. In fact, she was a bit surprised that the mage hadn't been promoted, but Odessa could only guess Silas and Dixon saw something in her - something Ashley saw in her before.

The day finally came though and the company was told of the plan and given time to prepare. Odessa spent most of it next to Silas as he gave a few more, basic, tips and let her get ready. Though she didn't have much to do, which was the advantage of her fighting style - no need for armor or weapons, making her an ideal warrior for stealth, which she spent the last hour practicing.

Before she knew it, they were at the cave's mouth. Silas explained for the last time what they were focusing on, sneak in unnoticed and raise the gate, then probably defend the lever or wheel that controlled the gate so the main army could charge in. She glanced to Sonya with a soft smile, hoping their time apart didn't put strain on anything, but quickly followed after the man. Quickly behind was the dancer and then the knight.

She paused as the Dancer started exclaiming her lack of stealth, to which the knight tried to hush her. She pulled back a little and tapped the dancer's shoulder and put a finger to her lips. "Quiet.. limit your movements.. stay to the shadows - time for dances will come later. They'll never know we're here." She tried to be as forward and serious while still accounting for the woman's emotions, since she was likely nervous. Taking a quick moment to make sure Aimée understood, she nodded encouragingly and quickly caught up with Silas, following his lead into the depths of the keep.

".. well met.." Elise said hesitantly, but as ever, Fionn kept along as if everything was fine. She swore that Fionn and Scarlett were two of a kind sometimes as she watched Scarlett wander over to the shelves and peer over the bottles. Of course, one could hardly be surprised when visiting an oracle, but seriously? A pillar where some great evil existed? Sounded like they were headed into the beast's belly as it were. It made her even more glad that she had trained the girl, though she was just as much of a mystery as her captain was - switching from serious and almost acting completely innocent. Elise quieted wondered what it might be like to have lost your memory.

Scarlett had just waved earlier with a simple, "hi Grug!" She seemed to have little care in the world, poking lightly at the potions in cat-like curiosity. Eventually she spun on her heels and joined the group, flashing a soft smile to Fionn before looking back to Grug, seeming to also wait for an answer about the ruins north of the town.
@CollectorOfMyst - Probably not age and unless you've been bogging down your system with startup or backup programs, probably not the physical RAM either. Again, if you've installed and are running a bunch of programs in the background (or they have memory leaks due to poor programming), then that's probably it... if you aren't.. yeah, sounds like a virus. Chrome and Firefox do have memory leaks though, I believe (continuously uses more RAM the longer it's open and the more tabs open).
@Arthanus - I'm playing Magik Knight. =3 I just got Great Cannon.. it's like a mini turret, hehe. Also, story isn't as bad as everyone said... but I'm different than most people. I enjoy stories for the sake of what they are, not for what I think they should be.
@Arthanus - Doing okay. =3 In a couple slow role-plays, but also joined Expanding Horizons! So much fun. =D Also doing really good on my Final Fantasy phone game, lol. Then playing Dragon's Dogma as well. How are you?

Edit: Oh, wow! I didn't think this started back up! xD Well, give me a couple days and I can post, lol.
