@Duthguy Daniel the Man-at-Arms has the following stats:

STR: 16* || +2
DEX: 15 || +1
CON: 13 || +1
WIS: 9 || 0
INT: 10 || 0
CHA: 12 || 0

The Adventure Begins!

Daniel asks around town to see if anyone would join him. No one else has the courage to become an adventurer, but a few villagefolk decide to join him as his Hirelings. These are people Daniel has grown up with, and they seem eager to join him on his quest. They are in good spirits, gaining +2 Morale, and agree to waiver their first Month's wage, on the basis that Daniel protects the town...

Accept Quest?: Travel to the Old Fort and learn why the Hamlet isn't being protected.
Reward: Hirelings will not require a wage for their first month of service and agree to take a smaller cut of the treasure. Furhter rewards may be later available...

The townsfolk are lining up to let you pick your party.... [0/1]
@Ellri The price to go down the well is 1gp, and for future reference it takes about 10 turns to get down to the first floor of the Dungeon.

Paying 2gp just means you've already paid to come back up if/when you need to. Otherwise Durnan lowers a bucket for payment, raises the bucket, and then lets you up ;)
@Ellri glad to hear it!

@Cu Chulainn welcome to the team!

Heads up folks i don't have my computer available today but I shall have a post out saturday, to give those in this round time to catch up.

@DTHar @Cao the Exiled Reminder: final post deadline is tomorrow before i start recruitment.

edit: working out who's in the dungeon, I think the horse goes down followed by Lauk, so he's got the horse with him.

@Ellri did you spend 1 gold to go down or 2?

@Duthguy Farmer Daniel becomes a Fighter, and receives the Title: Man-at-Arms.

He has received the stats: 13, 15, 10, 16, 9, 12. Would you like to accept these stats and automatically have them applied or use the advanced template?

>Accept Stats
>Reroll Stats
or

The Default Fighter Proficiencies are Combat Reflexes and Manual of Arms.
Daniel gains the Proficiency Labor [Farming] due to his background and Adventuring from becoming a newly minted adventurer.
If you would like to pick your own proficiencies, an option list can be provided.

Acccept Default Fighter Proficiencies?
>[Yes || No], [Accept || Do Not Accept] Default Fighter Proficiencies

Being a Peasant SUCKS and you think it's time to be an ADVENTURER instead.

The patrols never turn up from the Old Fort anyway. You're always being dragged off by kobolds or goblins or turning into slime monsters. The blacksmith's daughter has gotten kidnapped so many times she's started her own support group. And don't even get started on the farmer's fields - if it's not a supernatural blight then it's an army of evil scarecrows or sentient poisoned potatoes.

Well, if you want a job done well you might as well do it yourself. Something spooky is going on in the North Forest. The local bandits have been partying non stop. Porttown hasn't sent any traders your way in over a month. And caravans are too scared to travel the southern roads anymore, since something's been picking them off.

It's time to make a bunch of money being a big time adventurer and definitely not getting killed in the process.

To those who haven't posted in the last round:

Absolute post deadline is for Friday the 9th.

Our last major font of activity was three months ago. I really like our group and setup and we have had some extenuating circumstances for a few of our players at the same time, so I'm left wondering what to do. At this point, if a post isn't in by the end of the week I'm going to open any of those inactive slots up to new players and set better guidelines for a posting schedule. Players who don't post will have their characters moved to NPCs as we did for @Duskshine749.

There is a short grace period whereby if you post between the end of the deadline and when we get that slot filled, then I'll just shunt you back over. I'd prefer it if you didn't rely on that, and just posted in the week, but I understand that I haven't set a post schedule before on this thread and I know alot is going on IRL. I know this might come across an unfair. I know it kinda sucks. But I do think it's for the best.

I am well aware I haven't handled GMing this well so far. A few unsure situations (like brainstorming previous adventures and coming up with a Party Name) have led to people being unsure of what to do and how to post and slowed it down. That's my bad. It may have been better to just sink y'all into the Dungeon and I'm hoping once we enter more structured play we'll find a better pacing.

I like my sessions to be relaxed but I think some better posting guidelines might mean people know what to expect a little better. Please feel free to @ or PM me with suggestions on how you think the RP or my GMing could improve as right now I am concerned that RP Death is a real possibility - hence why I'm doubling down. I really want to see this RP through and I'd love to do that alongside you guys.
