Current I am still on RPG, so do feel free to message me. Just don't have the time or energy to actually join any RP's right now. Focusing on a LOT of other projects, including getting into Audio Drama.

@Sonnenschein I don't get this argument. "If you question your GM, that means that you don't respect them!" Surely questioning your GM is showing them respect. "I respect you enough to disagree with you and tell you why i disagree with you, because i think you are a reasonable person who can reasoned with."

It's not like i've been told no multiple times and continue to beat a dead horse. I was told "No, i don't want Lanterns" and i have given a good reason why i feel Lanterns aren't as detrimental to the RP as they believe. If/when Rumiko weighs that argument and still says no, then i'll drop it.
@Dnafein Ok, so what happened was this:

*Sinestro is Yellow Lantern and stole 1 of each of the other Lantern Rings and took them to Earth.
*Sinestro released them on Earth with a special little modification that both masked them from other Lanterns as well as bound them to Earth, so they had to find a host on the planet.
*Martin was the first one found and he was found by the Green ring.
*Sinestro tricked Martin and the others that the rings chose into believing that they were 1 big team that weilded the 7 magic rings of power, with him as the leader. They tracked down all of the members and grew closer to each other as they did so.
*After the others were found, he tricked Mongol into attacking Earth in order to claim the Rings for himself to make him into a Lantern god of sorts. This set up a situation where the other Lanterns were forced to combine their powers and, with all ring colour weilders in agreement, they summoned the White Lantern ring and gave it to Sinestro.
*Having everything he needed, he dropped all pretenses, easily defeated Mongol, told them "By the way, i fucking hate every single one of you and thanks for the White Ring, taking War-World and going to conquer the universe now, since no-one can stop me."
*Martin attacked him, but having lost all sense of reason at this betrayal, the Green ring sensed that he was no longer fighting on will-power and abandoned him.
*Sinestro found that Martins will to fight him, even after the Green ring abandoned him, caused him for the briefest of nanoseconds the ever so slightest twinge of fear that "Good thing the Green Ring abandoned him or he might have actually killed me with that kind of willpower." It took the Yellow ring a little time, but after a few days, it picked up on that and bound itself to the one that made its former master feel fear.
*He is now looking for purpose, something to do with this power.

Sinestro has always feared what he can't control. That's why he took Arin Sur's death so badly, that's why Paralax was drawn to him and why he became the champion for yellow. He saw in Martin a great power that he couldn't control, but he let Martin live, because he was determined to prove that he had overcome that fear. Plus, they had developed a sort of "Student-teacher bond" that Sinestro didn't want to admit to, but also didn't let stand in his way. Sinestro won. That's not a great departure from his personality. This is Martin dealing with having his ass thoroughly handed to him by Sinestro.
@Sonnenschein I'm not saying that i won't abide by the GM's decision, but i do feel compelled to make a decent argument for my case and if that still doesn't work, then yes, i will happily leave you all to it.

@Sanity43217 And again, I hate it whenever anybody says something like that in here. I've been playing on sites like this for 12 years and if that has taught me anything, it's that there is one simple rule of power in every Freeform RP like this:

"Limiting the powers of your characters doesn't limit the amount of overpowered characters. Because there are no overpowered characters, just people who play their characters as overpowered."

An overpowered character is one that won't be defeated by any means and that really comes down to how a player plays their character. Again, you simply have those that follow the simple rule of narrative and those who don't. If you follow the rule of narrative, then you can play any character in any situation, because you will know to go down when you need to in order for your and other peoples stories to work. If you can't, then you are not going to go down, regardless of what power you have, because you'll find literally any way to BS your way out of danger, because "My character isn't a loser who loses, he's a winner who wins every single time without fail" and that's when it all breaks down. Trust me, i've had to kick enough people from RP's or asked that they be kicked because they just don't know how to fucking go down when the narrative needs them to. Hell, one guy did this so bad that i actually banned "Any powers related to "Shadow Manipulation" from every powered RP i did, until i realized that rule above. "It doesn't matter what powers he had, he would have found SOME way to do that shit."

As for Lantern Rings, you gotta remember that there are thousands of each of them flying about and, if you've ever read a Lantern comic, you will know that they can quite easily get stolen or simply vanish without a trace. That's hell, that's how Mongol almost took over the Yellow Lanterns. That's how Sinestro and Atrocitus were able to found the Yellow and Red Lantern corps, respectively, to begin with, that's how Scar was able to create the Black Lanterns. "Stole Lantern technology and hid it long enough to replicate it." Way i see it. Sinestro stole the technology and hid it for long enough before, i'm sure that he can do it again. Granted, this time, he doesn't have Paralax's help, but he is very intelligent.
@RumikoOhara See, in RP's like this, power levels are worthless anyway. Everything works on the "Rule of Narrative" which clearly states "If the narrative can't proceed without Character X defeating Character Y, then Character X WILL defeat Character Y." It's why Superman can work on a team with people, despite being the most powerful being in the universe.

As for Lanterns having a support system, the point of Martin is that he became a Lantern in a way that he was never made privy to the knowledge that there ARE multiple Lantern Corps. As far as he's concerned, there is 1 ring of each colour. He is THE Gold Lantern and i think it's gonna be fun to RP him working with others and finding this out.
@RumikoOhara Might i ask why no Lanterns or Supermen?

As Xehanort left, Kalak put the book on the table and flicked to the page labeled Pays Des L'Aristochats and looked it over.

"Upon arrival, i have found myself placed in a most curious situation, my body seemed to become different from what i had remembered, it took a little time to figure out exactly what happened, but it was not entirely unpleasant or unwarranted. Moving around without drawing attention became exceedingly easy. With this, i took the opportunity to explore the surroundings. From what i can tell, this is the same city as La Cité des Cloches. The streets and many buildings look much the same, even Notre-Dame herself stands tall and proud in the back. This is most curious, but not entirely unreasonable to believe. If the multiverse truly is infinite, then it stands to reason that, eventually, worlds will repeat themselves an infinite amount of times.

Strangely enough, as i explored, i noticed that there ARE humans here, but the world still chose to change me in this way as i entered. Again, i am not unfamiliar with this, many worlds have chosen to do the same, in the past, but this one is the first i have seen to do so whilst humans are present in the world. I sense a very powerful heart here. One that could potentially assist in my and G's theory of creating a new First Heart. My investigations brought me to the residence of one Madame Adelaide Bonfamille. Her kindness and charity is known throughout the town and she may, in fact, be one of the hearts that i am searching for. After meeting her, i find myself torn on her being the one i am looking for. I sense the presence of a pure heart on her, but hers is...

Unfortunately, my investigation was forced to conclude inconclusively as I received word of another attack from the Heartless and her. I will return to this world for a second part to this report, eventually. Coordinates enclosed.
Xehanort's Report 231

Kalak finished reading and looked around. "So, we need to head to this place and meet with this "Madame Bonfamille" lady. Well, if she's as nice as he says, then i am positive that this is gonna be a piece of cake. Get there, ask her to help us save the multiverse and then find the other 6." He pumped his fist positively. He then looked over at Hido. "First things first." He said, approaching him. "You're gonna need to figure out how to get there. See, now that you've got your Key, you've also got a means to travel." He pointed to the little armour piece that was on his shoulder "We all got one the day we were given these. I think it comes from the same place as the key itself. But look." He stepped back, balled his fist and pressed it to the circle on the piece. In a brillaint flash of light, Kalak's armour appeared around him. A light-blue tinged armour with green and white trims. "See? This stuff is awesome, not particularly great in battle, but it does protect from the elements of the inbetween as well as serve as a nifty disguise. Also, whilst like this, you get to do this-" He summoned his Key-Halberd and in another flash of light, it transformed into a floating rocket-like motorcycle vehicle "Come on. we're gonna save the UNIVERSE!!!" He cried, pumping his fists.

His rocket blasted up into the air and through a hole into the multiverse that appeared. Flying through the space between, they constantly zipped between the large bubbles of worlds. "See that over there?" He pointed out a glowing sun to Hido. "That's the remains of the First Heart. If we can restore it, it'll glow so brightly that the blackness around us will glow white and the Heartless will be destroyed." Flying through asteroids, past chunks of long gone worlds, they also passed a bubble that was completely black, with the only thing to break up the darkness being A large heart symbol with a cross through it. "That's what happens when we fail to save a world..." He pointed out. "Don't bother with that world, it's... It's been consumed." He said. Finally, they arrived at a bubble. He pointed to it. "This is the one. We're in luck, see no symbol on it, the Heartless haven't touched this world yet. But our presence will draw them eventually. So, we should try to be as swift as possible. Don't worry, it's not instantaneous. Usually takes a few weeks before they notice. Well, let's get going!" Jumping off of the front of his glider, it disappeared and his Key appeared in his hand as he flew straight into the bubble, it rippled a little as he disappeared into it.

==Pays De L'Aristochats==

Edgar was the faithful servant of Madame Bonfamille, he had served her without question or dereliction of duty for almost 30 years now. He had looked after her many cats, made her food, kept and cleaned her house... In these later years, he was starting to think of his retirement. Well, since Madame Bonfamille hadn't any children or any heirs... Well, she was meeting with her lawyer to write her Will at this very moment. Edgar was in his room ironing his trousers when he heard his mistress' voice through the servants-phone. Maybe... Maybe just a little listen... He walked over to it.

"-And naturally, I want my beloved cats to be always cared for. And certainly no one can do this better than my faithful servant, Edgar." Said the voice of Madame Bonfamille through the hose. Edgars eyes lit up.

"Edgar?" Asked the lawyer "Adelaide, you mean to say you're leaving your vast fortune to Edgar? Everything you posess? Stock and bonds? This-This mansion? Your country chateau? Art, treasures, jewels and-" Edgar silently danced with joy, 30 years of being a servant had FINALLY paid off, he could go anywhere, do anything. He was going to be a big shot, he was going to be a somebody!

"No, no, no, Georges, to my cats." Adelaide replied. And in that moment, Edgar's heart was split in twain.

"Your Cats?" asked the Lawyer

"CATS!?!?!?!" Edgar wheezed as the news took everything out of him.

"Yes, Georges. I simply wish to have the cats inherit first. Then, at the end of their life span, my entire estate will revert to Edgar." Bonfamille explained. Edgar was forced to sit down at the heavy news.

"Cats inherit first! And I come after the cats." He sobbed. "I, me, after... No. It's not fair! Ooh! I mean, each cat will live about 12 years. I can't wait. And each cat has nine lives, that's four times twelve multiplied by nine times. No it's less than that. Anyway, it's much longer than I'd ever live. I'll be gone..." Then an evil thought crossed his mind. "No. Oh, no. They'll be gone." His eyebrows arched as a sinister plan went into effect. The damage that had been done to his heart when he had got the news began to creep open a little more... "I'll think of a way. Why, there are a million of reasons why I should! All of them dollars. Millions." He didn't realize the black aura creeping from behind him "Those cats have got to go." As he said that, he doubled over in pain. "AAHHHH! WHAT'S..." He breathed heavily as he pressed his hand against the ironing board. "I..." He saw a light appear from his chest as a glowing pink heart appeared in front of him. "What's..." It split in half in front of him. "Uh oh... That... That's..." He then saw the heart turn black as ooze began to leak from it. A black pool appearing on the floor in front of him. "Oh no!" He saw a Small, black creature claw its way from the ooze Edgar's eyes widened as he stumbled back and fell on his bed. "NO, STAY AWAY FROM ME!" He cried. The small creature moved erratically, no fluidity in its movements at all. Jagged and sharp movements. It stared at him, before moving quickly to the ironing board. Edgar through his arms across his face. He then felt something strange around his legs, he shook like a leaf in the wind as he dared to take a look." He looked down to see that the creature now had identical friends and they were dressing him. "Oh... Oh... You're... You're not going to hurt me?" He asked. He stood up as they finally pulled his trousers up fully. "Well... Well, thank you, my little friends..." He then saw the split heart re-enter his chest. and on him, a strange symbol appeared on him. He smiled a sinister smile. "Tell me, my little friends, would you like to help me with something?" He snickered. The small creatures zoomed over to him. "Yes... You'll do perfectly..." He purred in his evil aura.

==The Party==

As the portal to, what he presumed to be the city opened, Kalak flew straight through it and landed on his hands and knee's... Wait, no his feet, all 4 of them. "Wait..." He looked at his hands, they were... Fluffy... "Huh?" He asked. He saw a small puddle on the ground and rushed over to look at his reflection. "AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" He screamed. He turned around and looked at the others as they emerged. "I'M A CAT!!!" He said as they got a full look at his new form "I'M FLUFFY AND ADORABLE AND HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO USE A POLE-ARM!?!?!?" He cried. "I NEED THUMBS!!!" He rolled around on the cobble-stone road and cried. He then looked around. "Wait... This isn't a city..." He was correct. They seemed to be in the middle of the countryside. "This is... Well now what do we do?" He asked.
Assimilator Bridge

Breathing a heavily, she watched the Turion breathe as finally, one of the others picked him up and mentioned something to do with a "Kolto Tank" happy that he was safe, she got back to her feet. "Oh boy, time to do some more killing..." She sarcastically sighed under her breath. Getting to her feet, her eyes began to glow red again. She stood up just in time to see the last 2 detonate herself, she barely was able to throw a shield in front of herself before she was thrown back across the bridge and landed in a heap, a pair of rings falling out of her pockets. She finally managed to right herself and stood up to see the others had began to perform the technical stuff. She was no good to them like that, seeing to the wounded would be her job. As she was about to start walking, she looked to the side to see the large snake-horse-like creature stood and a look of mourning upon its face. She turned around and looked at the... Man? before turning to look at the planet. She had seen this once lush planet as they flew down to it and it reminded her so much of Mobius... Now it reminded her of Mobius in a different way. Seeing her visions of the return of Dark Gaia and what it would have done to the planet. "I know that my people of my ship haven't left the best impression on you." She began, not looking at Vael, but clearly talking to him. "I know that you see us based on the impressions that Doctor Robotnik left on you. And i also have also heard the stray thoughts from members of the other crews, that we rely too much on our Chaos Emeralds and not on our own two hands." She looked down at her hands. "But looking upon this world as it cries its last breath, as it calls out for anyone that can save it. Your... Our combined technologies can do naught, Our own two hands equally as useless... But our Chaos Emeralds have brought us back from such brinks of destruction as this before. Can you see now why we mourn their absence? Why we seem to be doing everything in our power to get them back?" She asked. "I make no excuses for any members of my crew, least of all the Doctor, and i do not ask any form of forgiveness, for it is not my place to ask. But had you once the power to easily stop such a tragedy and then be forced to witness it, would you not also curse the day your were forced to be without that power?" She continued to watch the pitch-black clouds swirl and engulf the world. "The whispers will continue and the joke that we have become will not cease, but we are all on the same side and i hope that you can appreciate that our only wish here is that we weren't so... So helpless to watch this world, that reminds me of my own beautiful Mobius... Burn..." from Vaels periferal vision, a almost blinding light appeared as a tear rolled down her cheek and caught the reflection of the light, turning the tiny droplet of salty water into a miniature sun, if even for a moment.
@DClassified
1) Gaining his power from Fear is how his ring gains power, but it can be stored, hence why Sinestro can fight Hal, despite Hal having no fear of Sinestro. Fear is his power and whereas fighting an opponent that's afraid of him is going to help his power a lot, he's not powerless against people who're unafraid of him.
2) The only lanterns that are always evil are the Black Lanterns and that's because Black Lantern Prime is in direct control of all of them and Prime is always an evil person. Arkillo and Soranik are Yellow Lanterns that are relatively good people. Hell, currently, Arkillo is one of Guy Gardiners closest friends, he's the one who managed to pull him back from the brink when the Darkstar took him and he was about to kill his deadbeat father. They have recently been pushing this idea that "It's not the emotion, it's how you harness it." Sinestro was a Green Lantern, but he chose to harness his will to rule the universe. Dex-Starr is a Red Lantern who's Rage flows from his owner being murdered by people, who then bundled him into a bag and threw him off the Brooklyn Bridge. Dex's Rage doesn't flow from evil places. Star Sapphires always seems to be a combination of Good and Evil. Indigo's are all about Compassion and they will straight up murder depressed people because they see it as "Releasing you from your suffering"
3) Sinestro's plan was "Gather up one of each of the other 6 rings, go to Earth, pose as a hero whilst the rings choose hosts, trick Mongul into attacking and trick the hosts into pouring their power into him to unlock the White Lantern power. Then, use that power to fuck Mongul and the others and make off with the White Lantern power and Warworld and become the undisputed king of the universe." Sinestro didn't give him the power, he simply capitalized off of the Green ring choosing him. So, after he succeeded, after he got the White ring, Martins Green ring abandoned him and he was stood there with nothing, Sinestro looked down at the kid and for just a moment, the thought occurred to him. "Oh christ... I have literally all of the power and he has literally none and he still isn't even slightly afraid of me. With that kind of will, if he gets his hands on any kind of power, he could defeat me even now..." But that moment immediately gave way to "Oh wait, i've got the ultimate power in the universe, he is a bug. Plus, i kinda like the squirt, his life is the least i can leave him with after helping me get here." Sinestro isn't a wanton murderer. He is just completely convinced that the universe would be better if he ruled with an iron fist.

Anyway, y'all have a good RP.
Alright, here's my pitch:
