Cecily glanced at Gavin, not sure if she should laugh or not. While he was speaking English - that was true - he was using different turns of phrases and expressions - an entirely new dialect. It would be like arguing that Gavin was speaking the same thing as the Queen's English - and Cecily doubted that if Gavin were to encounter an upper crust Brit (her thoughts flickered to her cousin) that they would be able to understand each other properly.
And as luck would have it, as Lincoln opened his mouth a British accent came out. Cecily shook his hand, her grip fairly decent despite her nerves. "...I'm a coroner from Justice, cops kind of just tend to flock to me..." Cecily explained. "...Roy's kinda like a big brother to me, he was in the area already when I told him I was flying in...And I think Gavin just is acting on Texan manners." She didn't want to reveal that Gavin was there as a favor to a friend. She didn't know how much Lincoln could be trusted. She wanted to trust him - but she was scared.
"...Is there somewhere private we can talk? A restaurant maybe?" Private but not too private.

@Nallore@Bee: "Wow, snoop much?" Jim said, unlocking his phone and showing it to Maria. The thing he had looked at right before all of this happened? It was a Donald Trump meme. One of his friends had sent it to him - a weird sort of good luck text perhaps? At any rate, it won't raise an alarm bells with Cassandra. Now here's the good news - they'll hear people board onto the ship. HYDRA was done and taken care of.
About five individuals march on board, led by the one and only Clint Barton. With him is Agent Thompson. "I heard you guys were having a party?" Clint said, taking off his shades. "Figured," he then nudged a fallen HYDRA soldier with his foot. "SHIELD's been compromised. We need you to suit up - again."
Raynor Blake & Dominika Novikova
Location: Castle Doomstadt: Inside (Second Floor Suite) (Partition between Kitchen and Great Room) Skills: Security Analysis, Light Manipulation, Dimensional Energy Perception (Passive)
Foes will appear on the map once they are 'discovered' and will be denoted by an X. Rooms will be noted once they have been cleared by the team as well.
Von Bardas, Prime Minister of Serbia, looked at Tinley. Stuck under her mind control, Von Bardas couldn't say a word. Her tricks and toys - mostly attended to by her guards and the Tinkerer - were out of reach. Although she didn't know it, it was fortunate that Agent Rhodes was not upstairs, as otherwise, her death would have swiftly followed. Another agent of the so called Free World, here to attack me without cause or jurisdiction. Hypocrisy. Lucia shook her head ever so slightly at Tinley. As much as she wanted to resist Tinley's mental attacks, she couldn't.
Novikova had followed Tinley into the room, her hands out and at the ready. Her fingers were splayed slightly - she had about as much training with her powers as she did with most weapons and figured it would do about as much good as anything else could at this point. "Abercrombie - the serum?" Novikova suggested, grabbing the vial from her pocket that had been distributed earlier to the agents. Von Bardas couldn't know that they were there - it would set back U.S.-Serbian relations for a decade. And even worse, the Cheeto would probably fire them all.
"...Also, add to that, there's unusual tremors coming from the roof..." Novikova added, feeling stressed. She had a bad feeling about this. The power then went out EVERYWHERE in the facility a moment later. Sparky had done her job. She bit her lip, sensing the strange energy upstairs. There was something about it so familiar...It almost called to her...And almost without realizing what she was doing, Novikova took off her glasses and tucked them into a pocket.
What she saw when she looked at Von Bardas horrified her.
Meanwhile...
Raynor nodded, looking at Tempest. He was unaware of the conversation Maria and Niah were having - thankfully no one had gone and found them quite yet. Lee and Rhodes were still M.I.A. and the power went out as well. That was potentially a good sign - perhaps they had gone off to find the breaker box and took it out?
The light manipulator then took a breath and held out his hands, making a blinding ball of light and he threw it into the room - it blinded everyone in sight. The Tinkerer and his goons all squinted and screamed in terror. One of them went for the emergency alarm, but with the power done it was little more than a glorified button - one hell of a design flaw! "Hey boys, this is one hell of a step up from your mother's basement, isn't it?"
Present Day - The Castle: May 4th, 12,508 - 11:15 AM
@LadyRunic: A few moments later, the rat returned, panting and alarmed. "Miss, message was not able to be delivered...Prince Myrus was too busy blowing up the attic," the rat squeaked, before scurrying off and not even bothering with the payment. Skaoi would be able to hear the explosions as well.
@mnkee: Outside of the infirmary, the activity of the Palace is pretty much normal. Guards come around the corner - both living and ghostly - as they make their rounds. Servants take freshly cleaned linens to the various rooms and a groundskeeper has come inside in order to get a quick drink. A girl just a few years his elder was outside on the grounds, chasing a small creature that seemed to be some sort of rabbit? Or a possum? Or a tailless cat? It was really hard to tell...
@LadyRunic: "I am ~cough~ alert ~cough~ and ~cough~ enthusiastic..." Badger protested. He thought of himself as Badger and as Rhys told him of his life before, there was some dim recognition in his eyes. But he was young and small children's memories were often easy to fade and remold, especially after his time with the Young Army and then Rhys. The boy then did pretty much a bit of a shrug, not having much of a reaction to the news Rhys was telling him. Perhaps he didn't care - or perhaps he didn't really understand what Rhys was saying.
"...Can I have another blanket?" Badger then finally said.
@FantasyChic: As Fleur's witch ran off to fetch tea, Meadow was the picture of composure as she looked at the Witch Messiah. Fleur's protest to her evaluation - that she was not as strong as she could have been - did not seem to faze her in the slightest. "Good," Meadow said, twisting her ring once more. "However, there is a prerequisite to acquiring the army. We must be confident that you have a plan. It would not do for us to hand over our fighting force and see it amount to nothing - but if the tales are true, you are a brilliant strategist...A rose amongst the thorns."

Myrus Silvers
Location: the Palace - Attic
Myrus bit his lip and shook his head, before he clutched his brown curls with his hands and held on tightly. The red aura still surrounded them but his own hair seemed to be immune to the explosions. He then looked at Amarantha, trying not to freak out. She was his sister's bodyguard - funny how only his sisters were under constant guard, whereas he could go as he pleased. "I-I-I did this..." he told Amarantha, swallowing thickly.
He jerked backwards somehow as Lyra came near, letting go of his curls and he held his hands out as if he could keep her away, ward her off, anything to keep her from touching him. He didn't want to hurt anyone. He locked eyes with Lyra, his violet looking into her fair blue - and he jerked again to the side, the red energy growing in intensity and he screamed. He tried to get to his feet but the wall of the attic exploded and crumbled in small patches wherever he touched. Amarantha and Titan would both be hit with stray pieces of wood from the explosion.
"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" Myrus shouted. He wasn't one for anger - to raise his voice - but he couldn't stop it. As he tried to get space and distance from the others, he bumped into crates and stored family heirlooms, causing them to explode as well. The noise in the attic was like someone had set off an entire box of fireworks at once in a small, contained area.
Yet as Valda pulled him in for a hug...And no doubt, the others looked on with fear...Nothing happened to the Witch Queen. He then just started to cry, the red energy fading from his hands as he hugged his sister back tightly.
Antonije Magnisky
Location: Number 40 Alchemie Way - Living Room
Run, run, run they go, when they'll stop nobody knows...
"Brucey," Runa, his mother, said warmly as she went inside and pulled her son in for a hug. She was almost a foot shorter than he was but she still managed to have a dominating presence in the room. Shadows seemed to cling to her feet as she walked and Antonije couldn't help but feel vulnerable - as if she could tell him things about himself that he would never know. Taking a deep breath, Antonije was relieved to see that her husband - although still tall - didn't give off that godly vibe.
"Now where is the lovely Myth? I've been wanting to meet her," Runa said softly. She had a small bag with her - within, there was a gift for Myth. She wanted to welcome her to the family. To be honest, she never expected that Bruce would want to marry anyone. He was as sexual as a plant in her mind.
"'Sup, I'm Antonije," Antonije said, looking at the goddess and her husband. He was a wizard, according to the legends. He held out a hand to her and the goddess looked at him with surprise for a moment, before she laughed softly.
"I am sorry - I mistook you for someone else for a moment."
"...First time I've heard that one," Antonije mumbled. Runa then looked at Sylvi, giving her a knowing grin - once more her eyes seeming to say that Runa knew secrets about Sylvi that she wouldn't dare share with another person. Perhaps the Floor had told the goddess about who Sylvi was?
The Sea: The Aricie - Nearing the Port
Minerva had remained up on the main deck, while the others had gone below in order to repair the damage. The hull was in proper condition now - the main worry was what to do with all of the ice down there that was frozen. Consequently, an announcement went around the ship that they'd be delaying their departure from the Port about three hours time in order to ensure the ship was seaworthy once more.
"Thanks, lass," Harlianne, the Captain said, as she nodded at Arnora. She tossed her a small bag of coin before Harlianne went back to her own duties. She figured a bit of money was the most she could do for the girl that saved her some costly repairs - not that she would have made them. Harlianne would have just stolen a newer, better ship - without any holes in it. She still might do that.
"Mutant?" Minerva asked, curious. "I've never heard of that term before...No offense, but I had assumed you were just Magykal," she then explained to Arnora.
Location: Headland: E. Main Street, A4, (Station Wagon Back Seat Driver's Side) Skills: Basic First Aide, Knots, and Survival
"...Ya don't think messin' up a diapah could get ya blind, do ya?" Jack asked, slightly serious. It occurred to him that in some catastrophic chain of events, if the poopy projectile went flying and hit his eyes - maybe it was possible. He had only taken basic science in high school, up through biology. The chemistry of poop and diaper products mixing with one's eyeballs was lost to him. However, diaper in hand, he stared at Jamie and heard the giggling and the squirting. Taking a deep breath - and regretting it from the smell, Jack nobly plunged in.
Drawing on his knowledge of knot work, how to bandage a wound, and pure survival instincts against the poopy menace, Jack managed to change Jamie's diaper flawlessly - as if this had been his true calling in life. He placed the used diaper into the bag Ash had mentioned and was about to admire his handy work, when Jack doubled over and vomited into the diaper disposal bag. His breakfast came up and mixed with the digested and excreted portions of Jamie's breakfast - true family bonding!
"...Sorry, I uh...I gotta think back through what ya just said," Jack said, gasping for fresh air for a second as he replayed in his mind what Ash had said to him. He didn't know if he'd puke again, but he was certain his baby was entertained by it all - the cute little bugger. Once he remembered it, Jack nodded, unfastening Jamie's car seat from the car and picking his baby up, still inside the seat. "...Fresh air sounds like a good plan - even if it's only for a moment."
Beatrice Decker
Location: Quincy: Inside House (C8 -> C9) Skills: N/A
Beatrice let out an internal sigh of relief, seeing that Thalia was starting to act more normal again. Alex then volunteered that he was a match - O positive - and if Beatrice recalled how blood types worked properly, she was a match as well. She was O Negative. She wasn't too sure if Manny would have a preference as to which of them donated - if it was better to have the exact match or someone who was younger without the medical problems Alex had. "O Negative," Beatrice said.
She then walked up to Thalia and put an arm around the girl, supporting her. "Come on, Gimpy, let's get you to the fireplace," she said bluntly. It was a cruel name but Beatrice knew that Thalia could take it. And if Thalia had finally gotten her hands on a can of O's - she had - then they'd need something new and petty to fight about. As silly as it was, a stupid 'fight' like that might be good for morale. Navy could easily be dead out there. And while Beatrice didn't think she'd do it, it was also possible that Navy could have just abandoned them entirely.
Jia Li's body tensed as she heard the bangs. The guard elbowed her face and she couldn't help but blink slightly, blood flowing from her nose as she got to her feet. Despite the immense pain in her nose, the chill refused to leave her body and she sneezed, blood dripping down her face. It touched her to hear Yumiko defend her - she hadn't been expecting that. She was about to thank her when she sneezed again, taking a moment to lean against the cell wall.
"T'ank you," Jia Li said, her words off due to the issues with her nose. She wasn't surprised that the guard had hit her. She had committed treason against her country - but she had done it for her country. Guards like him were emblematic of the problem sweeping its way through her nation - hurting those not in a position to defend themselves, it was cruel...Just like the attack on the Air Nomads - the genocide against a peaceful and non-violent people. "And it's DE treasonous bastard, t'anks," she added to the guard.
Of her several years at camp, it was one of the least distressing occurrences to find her familiar using her head as a bed. There had been mornings that began on a worse note - she recalled with a slight grimace the time her cabin mates had rearranged the cabin to become an American Idol stage. Her loft bed never felt quite right after that. "Shelley, off in faciem meam," Rebecca muttered. The fat black cat purred in response as Rebecca shoved the familiar off.
As it was summer, she didn't have the loft to herself. During the school year, the cabin was rather empty - most children of Hecate didn't feel the need to stay year round to hide from monsters. Shelley, her indignant cat, went over and jumped on the empty bed across from Rebecca's. Her loftmate for the summer - a sweet but serious girl named Arya - must have already gotten up and headed downstairs to study. The magic of Hecate's cabin was that the size was an illusion - and that its space was able to be changed with the snap of a finger. There was ample storage in all of the living spaces and one of them was even able to rotate into becoming a private library of spells and rituals.
Getting dressed, the Hecate Head Counselor then climbed down the narrow staircase and into the cabin proper. "It's Capture the Flag tonight," Rebecca reminded her siblings as she found most of them in the living space. Children of Hecate had to do years of dedicated study of their magic. Most of them were already up and reading, memorizing incantations and chanting them under their breaths. Rebecca smiled a bit as one of her youngest siblings finally managed to get an apple to float off of the table in front of him. "And you know what that means," Rebecca added.
"Treachery or Loyalty?" Arya said, sitting forward studiously - and looking every bit like a teacher's pet. Sometimes, Rebecca was still surprised Athena hadn't claimed her.
Rebecca nodded, smoothing out her black t-shirt. "We have an alliance with Zeus at the moment, in promise of trivia night. And then as you all know familial ties wise, we're closest with Demeter." Hecate had been the goddess to light Demeter's way when she searched for her lost child, Persephone. "But...That doesn't mean we have to be loyal to those cabins. So it's up for a discussion and then a vote, what we plan to do tonight as a cabin."
@Eviledd1984 Okay, few things.... 1) You need to stick with the CS form layout. The linebreaks need to go back in, as do the bolding in the code. Take a look at completed CS's in the CS tab for an example if you are lost. 2) BlueSky44 is trying to phase out Brotherhood members, so putting no affiliation would be better. They're not going to be an option anymore coming up as the story focuses on the X-Men primarily. 3) (I have to ask this, and I really hate that I have to...) But can you write a neo-Nazi properly? There's a thin line between writing a racist character and writing racist-ly that a lot of people have trouble with. 4) In terms of backstory, a Nazi joining the Brotherhood doesn't make sense. Magneto is jewish - he was sent to concentration camps and founded the Brotherhood essentially to prevent a second Holocaust. Magneto never would have accepted a character like him into the ranks. 5) Additionally, just as an FYI to you, the Hellfire Club is not slated to appear in this RP. 6) Look again in the rules, you are missing things 7) Personal opinion here, but I don't think this type of character matches the vibe of this RP at all. I think it'll be painful for you to write this individual and not conducive to a good RP experience...And the GM and I want everyone here to have the best experience possible.
Given this and everything above...The GM and I do not feel that you would be a good fit for this RP.

@Nallore: Jim grimaced, letting out a small cry of pain each time she pulled a bullet. "Yeah, I think we got a - GODDAMN IT - a....a mole..." he agreed, gritting his teeth. He was considering her thought process - yes, S.H.I.E.L.D. did have files on all of them but they were highly classified. Not very many people would have had access to them. That was one fatal flaw a previous S.H.I.E.L.D. team had made - they assumed it was some sort of psychic threat, rather than realizing the obvious answer - they were fighting someone with security clearance. "...We're gonna have to test them all, kid..." Jim grunted again. "Even each other...Now...Where's the booze? I need a damn drink before I can do much of anything." He then laughed a bit, but it was painful. His wounds still needed to be cleaned - but how do you clean out the wound of a man literally made of rock?
Raynor Blake & Dominika Novikova
Location: Castle Doomstadt: Inside (Stairs ---> Second Floor Suite) (Partition between Kitchen and Great Room) Skills: Security Analysis, Light Manipulation, Dimensional Energy Perception (Passive)
Foes will appear on the map once they are 'discovered' and will be denoted by an X. Rooms will be noted once they have been cleared by the team as well.
While Tinley and Nikolai had no problem getting to the suite without issue, Novikova and Sparky were a bit more clumsy as they followed. Fortunately, the squishy scientists didn't end up drawing undo attention to themselves. "Vait here," Nikolai said, gently infiltrating the room directly to the south of the suite. Once inside, he gave a smile to the two off duty guards he found. They were both chugging sodas, way too tired to be pulling another 18 hour shift.
"Fuck..." one of the guards said as Nikolai struck.
"...How can I help?" Novikova whispered to Tinley. Tinley would be able to get a headcount of how many foes were upstairs by her mind control abilities - they were approximately thirteen grunts and one Big Bag on this level, not including her own teammates. "Von Bardas...she isn't supposed to see us, right?" Novi then asked. No one knew about Rhodes' personal mission.
Meanwhile...
Raynor shook his head at Niah, glad that Agent Smith had the good sense to drag her out of there. He and Tempest would be more than enough to handle these guys. She had healing and he had the magic of a free light show - not to mention the combat experience both of them boasted. Niah had done enough and although no one realized it yet, she was needed urgently at the Bus. But that would be for another time. A thought would occur to both Niah and Maria however: where were Rhodes and Lee?
Raynor grimaced, whispering to Tempest. "Hellfire...You don't want to mess with those people. They profit off of the suffering of their own kind," he explained. At least the Tinkerer seemed to be pretty distracted yelling at his grunts and bossing them around. From what they could tell, the Big Bad of the first floor seemed to be busy working on something. "...I can flash bomb them all, blind them, if you'd be ready to come in and disarm them all - or at least, knock their asses to the ground," Raynor whispered to her.
Location: OMEN Facility - Cell Block (Area 51, Probably)
Dean stared at Pietro in shock, having seen the speedster pound his head against the glass and manage to shatter it. His face was starting to look pretty messed up and Dean shook his head slightly. "I'd say you'll knock a screw loose but I think you already did, Maximoff," Dean muttered. The Banner kid seemed to be playing psychiatrist and figured out that the speedster was insane. Now that was comforting. He always wanted a (formerly?) homicidal insane speedster around.
Dean then looked at Allison for a moment. "...Let me see if I can even the odds," Dean offered, before he quietly crept into the hallway. He used his agility and managed to dodge and disarm the first three, only to trip over his feet (damn shoelaces!) and he slammed into the ground, face first. Letting out a bit of a groan, the remaining twelve armed agents turned and aimed their guns at him. "...We should have gone for get help..." Dean groaned. At least they weren't shooting at him. That was good.
Guin Stark
Location: OMEN Facility - Roof
"...I'm fine," Guin told Mary simply after she leaned in to whisper in her ear. She glanced out to see Sara trying to use Mary's plant powers to buy them some time, but it looked like she hadn't quite gotten the hang of them. Guin was one of the only other people in the world that could understand what Sara was doing - she too had tried to get the hang of the powers of others before. It was never easy. Damon's dragon was continuing to fly around, failing to hit anything but it was at least serving as a distraction.
She then bit her lip - she wasn't very comfortable around Magneto. But if he ended up killing her out of revenge...She probably deserved it after what she just did. She quietly walked over to Magneto and Mira, not even able to properly enjoy him flying them up to the rooftop of the facility. The odds were stacked against them and Nina had already died. How many more people would die before they got through? If I die...Magneto probably did it, Guin thought, having forgotten for a moment that Pietro could read her thoughts. "Can you open the door?" Guin asked Erik. She could probably pick the lock if needed but she figured she'd let the metal manipulator try first.
"Wait what?" Pietro responded. Magneto chuckled slightly, before he waved his hand and the door ripped off the hinges. Oh um nothing important... Guin winced a bit. "What was that laugh for, fuck face?" Guin asked, not able to help but antagonize Magneto. The door then proceeded to hit Guin over the head, dazing her for a moment, but not doing much to hurt her, but it was obvious he was trying to not hurt her for some reason. Guin held her head, glaring at Magneto. She knew she had technically started it. "Are you really just being semi-nice to me by not killing me because you know I'm a mutant now? Since that's pathetic."
"...Tell me please..." She let go of her head, letting her hand fall to her side. Mary's idea. "I have my reasons, none of which I need to tell you," Magneto snapped. "...What's going on?" Guin huffed, before she filled Pietro in on what he had missed, still holding a glare with Magneto. "...Uh..."
"I hate you," Guin said, before she moved to enter the facility from the roof.
Present Day - The Castle: May 4th, 12,508 - 11:00 AM
@LadyRunic@mnkee: Whereas Skaoi was skittish, Becky (with the Good Hair) was stubborn and blunt. She turned to the little prince, seeing how much he had protested with the single prick of a needle. "Prince Tristan, if it only takes a slight prick for you to act in this manner, I do not doubt that the SnowPlains will easily win the war against your people," Becky said bluntly. Perhaps it was rash of her to talk like this - yet she had been in her trade for a while and never bothered to develop much of a bedside manner. "Fortify yourself, Prince Tristan. It would suit your position better." Becky then went over to Skaoi and finished helping her to clean up the mess. It wasn't the first time something was broken in the infirmary and she doubted it'd be the last. "Be calm, Skaoi," Becky advised her with a slight smile. "You are stronger than you realize."
@LadyRunic: After Rhys secured his home through the use of Magyk, he'll begin to feel a headache form. As this headache sprouts, Esmeralda looked at him and sighed, shaking her head slightly. "It got you too?" she asked, though it really wasn't much of a question. She prided herself on her intuition. As Rhys asked, she stayed largely hidden as Rhys went to Fayard. The poor thing looked like a shadow of his former self, weakly drinking the water. "I'm...I'm alive, awake, alert, and enthusiastic..." Fayard said, falling into an old Young Army response. The children tended to always say that, no matter what. His stomach started to ache like hell and Fayard groaned, turning slightly and spilling water on his face.
@FantasyChic: Princess Meadow nodded, looking at Fleur with concern - likely faked. Most royals in this world would show feelings and emotions when it suited them. "I see - I had heard tale of some illness only afflicting those skilled with Magyk - I do not know much of it, as such things do not happen in the Lagoon...But I had hoped that you would remain strong," the Princess continued. She fiddled with a ring on her hand and one of her attendants moved to whisper into her ear, only for Meadow to abruptly wave them off.
"But this does not change what I have come here to propose. A poisoned tree cannot help but bear poisoned fruit," Meadow said, locking eyes with Fleur. "My aunt, the late Queen Meliscente, was positively toxic. It is time something be done to rectify the situation...Yet I fear this country would not accept me as their ruler. They are too used to Magyk. I am proposing, Witch Messiah, to give you the use of the Royal Army of the Lagoon - to lay waste to the pretender to the throne and those who support her."
"I ask that you install yourself as the ruler of this land, subject only to King Nicholas of the Lagoon."

Arya Rincewind
Location: Wizard Tower - 20th Floor
Arya accepted the cloth from Cuyler, attending to the bloody nose. She hadn't felt quite this tired in ages as she sat down, the tips of her fingers strangely cold. She continued to press the cloth against her nose, before her body went rigid all of the sudden and her back arched. Her eyes rolled into the back of her head, as if someone else had come in to temporarily take control of her. "THE QUESTE WILL SET THEM FREE!" the strange voice boomed, before Arya collapsed into a coughing fit, unaware of what had happened.
"I'm fine, Cuyler, not everything is a symptom of the Sickenesse," she told him, avoiding his gaze slightly. "Besides, I would know if I had that unfortunate condition." Her hand then let go of the cloth and instead gripped onto her amulet for a moment, feeling the Magyk that it contained. It spiritually felt like washing her face with clean water, yet it did very little to alleviate her symptoms. They were running out of time to come up with a solution. It had been months and nothing worked. "Now in a moment, we can leave..."
Yet truthfully, Arya did not have much strength left. She kept thinking get up, we need to leave but her body betrayed her. Every fiber of her being was telling her to sit down and continue to rest. The ExtraOrdinary Wizard was weak - she couldn't allow that to happen - and she forced herself to her feet with shaky legs.
Myrus Silvers
Location: the Palace - Attic
Myrus was taking deep breaths, curled into a ball in the corner of the attic. He could hear the footsteps coming up the attic stairs before he saw people emerge. Every time he thought Valda was about to approach him, he shrunk away. He didn't want to hurt his sister. He didn't know if he could make living things explode but he wasn't about to find out. "J-just stay away from me!" Myrus cried.
There were no additional explosions - at least for the moment. His purple eyes seemed to be tinged with red as he looked wildly around, like a cornered and frightened animal. He then saw Luna come up into the attic, telling him to take deep breaths and he just sort of shook his head. He couldn't manage to catch his breath no matter what he did. And then, then he could hear Amarantha and Lyra coming to the attic. Why had the gods cursed him so? Why was everyone coming to his hiding place now?
"G-g-g-go away or you'll get hurt!" Myrus squeaked out, before he buried his face in his knees.
Antonije Magnisky
Location: Number 40 Alchemie Way - Living Room
Marya and Medea still hadn't come home yet. It had been a little over a half an hour since they left. It would only be a cause for concern if they didn't come home in the next fifteen minutes. The last time they had been gone this long, they joined the Port Witch Coven - or a cult, as Bruce referred to it. However, there was a knock at the door. "Brucey? I hope it's alright, we came early..."
Antonije had pulled Sylvi in for a hug, kissing her forehead. "You're not a failure, Sylvija," he told her, before he gave her forehead another kiss. He glanced at the door, hearing the voice call out and the knock, but he figured that he would let Bruce get it. His family wasn't supposed to get there until noon but he supposed noon was close enough now - they were gods anyways. Gods didn't take it very well when you yelled at them for being early. "So...You want to hide from the gods or stay in plain sight?" Antonije asked Sylvi.
"They are your gods, though," he pointed out, referring to her culture.
The Sea: The Aricie - Nearing the Port
Minerva looked at Arnora with curiosity. A Spirit-Seer...That could come in handy indeed on this trip to the abandoned Port Witch Coven Home. There was one ghost in particular that she wished to speak to. In her pocket, she fiddled slightly with an ornately decorated vial. It wasn't much in her style, but she had a feeling they would find it to be of use on the journey ahead. "Splendid. We should return with plenty of time for any of you continuing on to board the Aricie," Minerva said, giving Ahote a smile.
She rolled her eyes slightly as Grimspound, seeing that he was essentially trying to get laid. Yet Ahote's words rung true. The ship was slightly less high up in the water than it had been moments before. Fortunately, they were almost at Port. Just another fifteen minutes of sailing and they would be able to dock. Minerva couldn't help but be slightly amused at the entire situation, noticing as the crew seemed to go into a frenzy around them. "Seems serious," she mused, jumping up onto a barrel so she could get a better look around.
