@AngelofOctober While I understand that can be a frustration, the CS code layout is required and cannot be changed. It's formatted in a way for the ease of access for the GM's to quickly find information, as well as your fellow RPers. I understand that you have a difficulty processing it in this layout so I appreciate your understanding. We'll be accepting characters for a few more weeks should you change your mind.
@LadyRunic I was gonna say... stealing my job, eyyy? :P

@AngelofOctober I am the Co-GM for this RP. You are welcome to PM myself or @BlueSky44 with incomplete versions of your CS for feedback. However, WIP/incomplete CS's may NOT be posted here in the OOC. As for the CS format, we need to stick with the format presented. If you're having issues coding it, Blue or myself can help over PM.

Scott Rydzynski

Location: His Apartment - Seattle, Washington
Interacting With: Trevor

"First rule of being a competent merc - or person with a gun, really - you don't untie the guy you're interrogating," Scott told Trevor. He wasn't going to untie the man. He wasn't satisfied with Trevor's answers so far and he wasn't certain the man wouldn't try to stab him in the neck with some sort of injection. Besides, if this man was as smart as he was supposed to be, he wouldn't need notes. Just the theories would be good enough - and trust would come later.

"Give me the Sparks Notes version," Scott told Trevor. If he didn't cooperate, he'd knock the man out and dump him across town. Then he'd meet up with the kids and get them out of Seattle. He wanted to make sure that they were safe - and Trevor was threatening that safety. Maybe he'd take them to Canada, get them set up with new ID's.

Dean Kesseli

Location: OMEN Facility - Outside

Dean glanced at the others, seeing all of the bits of drama play out like some scale of a musical instrument. In that moment, it occurred to him that the lives of the X-Men were a bit like a soap opera - only with super powers. And while that was discouraging on some levels, on others...These people were his friends. They were the ones he was working so hard to plan prom for. And with the mansion destroyed, his next task was to convince Tony Stark to get them a venue. He smiled a bit, looking at Allison - she had so much strength and courage. He then looked at Carolina and felt something stir as well.

In that moment, he knew he was screwed - but he'd worry about that later. It could wait.

"So um guys? I don't know about you, but I only really had that Twinkie from Pietro to eat today...So I could go for some McDonalds on the way back to Starks...Also...maybe a real doctor," Dean said. His stomach was simultaneously grumbling and in pain. He also didn't want to be around when the living O.M.E.N. agents woke up, even though Jakobsen had supposedly called them all off. Not everyone listened to orders, after all.

Guin Stark

Location: OMEN Facility - Outside

Guin had calmed down slightly, hearing the conversation between Jade and Jakobsen. It seemed like what Thalia and Allison had done had inspired a change of heart in the man - which was far more than she had expected. Most people just became more and more entrenched in their viewpoint. Guilt filled her - she had wanted to kill this man, to act like Magneto and just...inflict her will with violence upon other people. As Pietro set her down, scarfed up some Twinkies, and then happily showed off his pet turtle, Guin just nodded slightly. "That's great, babe."

"...Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, I just want to go home and go to bed...You can have fun with your new best friend..." Guin mumbled. She couldn't help but feel jealous of the turtle. In all of his time at the mansion, Pietro had pretty much given her all of his attention. She was used to it now - it was part of her life - and the turtle...it felt strangely like he wouldn't need her anymore. It was crazy and she knew it, but she was emotional and Muscles had died and she felt it was her fault.

"Nope, I want to spend time with you Guina..."

"No, it's okay, play with your turtle..."

"...I love you Guina... Are you sure you're okay?"

"I love you too...I'm just tired..." Guin mumbled. She was exhausted, hungry, sleepy, and felt like she could use a ten hour nap. The entire day had taken a lot out of her, emotionally and physically.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Guin nodded slightly. She also wanted to take a hot bath and just fall asleep in the water. Unfortunately, she doubted that would happen. They'd need to debrief after all of this, finish contacting families, make plans for rebuilding the Mansion and figure out where people would stay...It would be a late night. Guin then walked over to Lance and hugged him tightly.

"Uh, are you okay Guin?" Lance asked her.

Guin let go of him. "Honestly Lando, what is it with you and getting kidnapped..."

"Hey! That is not my fault!"

Jia Li

{"When it rains, it pours..."}

Jia Li glanced at Yumiko and she nodded. Starting the riot as a diversion was about all she could do for the air bender, if the girl didn't manage to get herself out. Once they escaped from the prison, then that was another matter. She herself was Fire Nation - she could get the air bender tips. Maybe - and Jia Li grimaced at the thought - she could give her burns where the tattoos were, in order to mask them.

Jia Li took off at a run, taking a deep breath and she jumped, flexing her muscles to get the fire to burn in her hands and allow her to fly - but the freezer did a work on her and nothing came. She flew head first into the wall and her already gushing nose took another hit and she fell down, coughing and unable to breathe from her nose. Her face was filled with pain. "...I hate freezers..." Jia Li mumbled, trying to get up.

Present Day - The Castle: May 4th, 12,508 - 12:00 PM

@Nallore@KazAlkemi@LadyRunic: The little girl in yellow just gave Grimspound a smile and a moment later, Arnora would realize that she was the spirit of a child who had died there. "You're going to regret it," the child said simply, repeating it three times before the ghost vanished. Only Arnora would still be able to see the little girl, smirking at them from her spot on the lawn. The entire exchange didn't seem to unnerve Minerva, their guide.

"It's a good thing that we have an invitation, then," Minerva mused. "Arnora, can you find the spirit of Nera Hawthorn for us? She has something incredible, from what I hear...One of the бесконачни камен."

@LadyRunic: Esmeralda sighed. There had been a reason she never told Rhys that he had a son - the pair of them failed to ever get along. Aside from that one night that had been a mix of hatred and passion, they couldn't stand each other's presence. But for Fayard, she would tolerate him - for now. He had kept her son safe when she had been unable to divine his presence.

"We can divine our way into a cure, ya rat," Esmeralda explained. "I got me a lock of Fay's hair. Between the two of us, we ought to get a glimpse as to how this Sickenesse can get gone."

@FantasyChic: Meadow paused, thinking it over for a moment, yet nothing came to mind for the princess as to anything else that she would need. The option of further discussing Fleur's plans seemed to be a welcome one and she nodded. "Yes, let us discuss how we can bring Queen Valda to her knees," Meadow said. "And that is a most kind offer. I had intended to set up a tent not too far from here, but I must admit, I do prefer to sleep indoors in a firm and sturdy structure."

"Of course, that does beg the question, Witch Messiah...What is it that you want more than anything in the world?"

Arya Rincewind

Location: Wizard Tower - 20th Floor

Arya nodded at Cuyler without hesitation. The vulnerability she had shown him moments ago was gone, replaced with the formal and respectable bearings of the ExtraOrdinary Wizard. It was hard to imagine her swallowing her pride and allowing him to cradle her, as had happened moments ago, and that she would relinquish her Magykal abilities. "Of course I am certain," she told him, yet the Sickenesse showed on her features as she took the cup of tea he had brewed and sipped it. It was a divine cup of tea and it brought a smile to her face, but it did nothing to alleviate her symptoms.

A few moments later, there was a knock on the door and Arya waved her hand to open it with Magyk, only to blink a bit as nothing happened. She blushed slightly, having already forgotten that she couldn't do such things now. Without her amulet, she was mortal like all the rest. She walked over to the door and opened it, to see a nervous looking tall young man with curly blonde hair. It wasn't too surprising for him to be nervous - most were when they were summoned by the ExtraOrdinary Wizard.

"H-hello, Miss Rincewind, and um...Oh, um, is that Mr. Eysteinsson?" Rainbrook asked. Arya raised an eyebrow. "Oh, well, y-you see there's...there's talk around the Tower...about your...your salamander...I mean...husband..."

"...I told you his name moments ago," Arya reminded him and Rainbrook nodded, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. "So you did..."

"My presence is required at the Palace. Please see to it that Mr. Eysteinsson leaves the Forest with all of his limbs attached to him," Arya requested.

Rainbrook nodded. "Of c-course...Har du noen gang vært i skogen før?" he asked, switching into New Nordic. He had merely asked Cuyler if he had been in the Forest before, yet Arya could not help but be curious. She knew that Rainbrook had traveled a lot in his lifetime, studying magical creatures, but she didn't know that he spoke the tongue of Cuyler's homeland.

Myrus Silvers

Location: the Palace - First Floor by the Staircase to the Attic

Myrus let his older sister lead him down to the first floor of the Palace, away from the attic. And while Valda was cross with Lyra - and Myrus was considerably hurt by Lyra's words and actions - he cared more about Skaoi than himself right then. Amarantha continued to argue that the kind healer could be guilty of conspiring against them. "N-no, she isn't!" Myrus stammered, his purple eyes pooling with tears.

"Sk-Skaoi would never do that and I-I don't care what you say! Sh-she's my friend a-a-and I-I c-can't lose anyone else!" He then started to cry all over again. His father had been taken from him. Valda had been taken from him - and only recently returned. His mother had been taking from him. Mavis, his best friend, had dumped him. And now, from what he could tell, Amarantha wanted to take Skaoi, the closest thing he now had to a mother, from him.

"I WON'T ALLOW IT!" Myrus screamed, his hands surrounded with glowing energy again. He was about to lose Luna. He couldn't lose Skaoi too.

As for the niffler, it sniffed at Luna's coins and grabbed them, seemingly tucking them into a small pouch within its fur. Of course, you would be hard pressed to notice the pouch. It seemed to be a thing of Magyk within itself. The little creature rolled over and grinned up at Luna happily, before it jumped at Tristan's sword and started playing tug of war with it. And that niffler was out to win.

Antonije Magnisky

Location: Number 40 Alchemie Way - Living Room

"Now is not the time for that," Runa replied to her husband quietly. She was in agreement - the similarities were striking. However, when things were calmer and not nearly quite as tense, they would be able to have a discussion like that. Perhaps some of the methods that had worked previously would be beneficial for Antonije now.

Antonije suddenly turned, looking at the Midgardian God. SHUT UP!!!!! he screamed into Lance's mind. He didn't like the thoughts that he had heard. It had been pure luck that he heard them too. He wasn't actively listening. Of course, Bruce's comment of we don't want anything bad happening to you didn't make anything better. In his agitated state, it sounded like a threat to Antonije. Combine it with Myth scolding him for shouting and Sylvi backing away, as if in terror, it was the perfect storm.

"ОДЛИЧИТЕ СВЕ ВАС!!!" Antonije shouted. He was sending out his feelings of anger and everyone in the room would begin to feel that same rage and anger. Marya stared to glare at Bruce. "Напустили сте нас! Годинама!" she shouted. Runa closed her eyes, taking a calming breath.

"Antonije, calm down," she said, before she nodded slightly at Myth. "I hope they were good stories you heard...Some of them are not the sort that bear repeating. And Myth, please take a deep breath. Antonije is projecting his anger."

@Nallore@Bee@BlueSky44: Team Bus!

"Get Tempest back here pronto," Bonnie muttered. "I'm losing him," she then admitted. The bullets they had used on Jim had done a number on him and when he shifted from rock to human form, it hadn't helped the injuries. In fact, it had made them worse - but it was difficult to do surgery on a rock, if not completely impossible. There was only one other person Bonnie could think of that would be harder to help and that would be Luke Cage.

"Got it," Hawkeye said, however when he went and opened up the box the drones were gone. "Damn it," he swore, before he nodded at the operations agents and motioned for them to follow him. They had their own vehicle outside of the Bus and Hawkeye got into the driver's seat. Once everyone was inside, he drove in the direction of the horrifying looking light show. "Remember, this is critical - we cannot be seen if we can help it."

@Kirah@Nallore: Team Luminous!

Agent Lee nodded, about to go and grab Niah when suddenly he stopped. His eyes widened and a trickle of blood came from his mouth, as he dropped to the ground like a puppet without strings. Behind him stood Luminous, hardly effected by all of the attacks so far. Her recovery time was terrific. And in her bloodstained hand, she clutched Agent Lee's heart. "Father was right...That is fun," Luminous mused, before she crushed the heart. The blood and matter sprayed everywhere, but since Agent Smith was closer, Maria's face ended up covered in Lee's blood.

"You can try to fight me, but you won't win," Luminous guaranteed. "But..." She then paused, seemingly noticing something for the first time as she stared at Niah. "Train hard. Face me again. Such wicked delights must have wicked ends...And I'm bored." The brief high she had gotten from ripping out Lee's heart was over. It was too easy. She wanted a challenge. "Creed Financial. That's where you'll find me and HYDRA - and his poor uncle...Make it a good fight." There was then a blur of silver and Luminous was gone.

Niah, meanwhile, would get a vision from touching Sami's chest. She would hear his conversation with Fury, where he had been more or less told to kill Von Bardas. She would hear his conversation with Rhodey on the phone, with the odd note to call his mother - and Fury's belief that Rhodey had been compromised.

@BlueSky44: the Quantum Realm!

I'm not going to pretend that I can do a better description than this:

Raynor Blake

Location: Castle Doomstadt: Inside (Great Room) --> the Roof
Skills: Norwegian, Light Manipulation, Trivia Knowledge

Agent Novikova was outside of the Castle, looking up at the roof in horror. She knew that her friend needed her help desperately. Unlike the others in Sci-Tech, Dominika's specialty was nuclear physics. No one else on the team knew as much about the quantum realm as she did or how to handle a quantum tunnel. And if any of them were to become trapped within it, as her vision from Von Bardas had indicated was likely. The things that woman was capable of...Yet Novikova couldn't bring herself to walk inside. Tinley's mind control was too strong. The Russian-American agent could only look up at the roof with tears, knowing that she had failed her team.

Meanwhile, downstairs Raynor's blood ran cold as he heard Agent Sparks' message - she was by a freaking quantum tunnel? Those type of gateways were dangerous - his grandfather had called them Yggdrasil's Thorns. Only the gods were able to traverse them safely - his grandfather had been quite clear on that - and even then, they did not always return. "Agent Sparks du får helvete der ute akkurat nå med mindre du vil ha et ansikt til ansikt møte med en Valkyrie!" Raynor shouted into his comm, too angry to even realize he wasn't speaking English. "Jeg sværger til All-Faderen at hvis du ikke kommer her nede, RETT NÅ, jeg kommer til å miste det, for det er Lana!"

Raynor paused for a few seconds. Then he heard Tinley's panicked order to evacuate and then, even more chillingly, Nikolai's message. "It's too late, Agent Blake...She's gone."

"NEI NEI NEI!" He glanced at Tempest, his entire body giving off a soft yet maddened glow. He had had his powers longer than just about everyone on the team - anyone at S.H.I.E.L.D., even - but they were going out of control. Driven by pure emotion and rage, Raynor rushed out of the room. Each of his steps left a scorch mark on the floor. He raced up the stairs and shoved Nikolai out of the way, sending the Russian agent stumbling against the wall in confusion. Raynor then looked at Tinley, and she would be able to hear his mind filled with pure rage and agony - all of it in an ancient language she could not understand.

"You wanted to know who I am, Agent?!" he barked at Tinley. "Jeg er sønn av Balder, Odins barnebarn, barnebarn til den utødelige Phoenix, sønn av Nana og bror til Forseti!" he then raced up the staircase and rushed out onto the roof, his entire body surrounded with blinding light. When the light cleared, Raynor was gone as well. As were all of the guards.

It was just Nikolai and Abercrombie left on the stairs.

Guin Stark

Location: OMEN Facility - First Floor

Guin had slipped Muscles' wedding ring off of his finger and was clutching it tightly, shaking as she suddenly found herself lifted into the air and held tightly by Pietro. She didn't register it was him at first, but she could see the blur of silver hair through the tears. When Mary had come over, she hadn't properly responded to her, just nodding slightly. And even though Muscles' corpse was out of view now, the image was burned into her memory.

"It's okay Guina..." he said softly to her.

"Y-your face..." Guin stammered, blinking her eyes clear and the horrid glass filled cuts came into view.

"It's nothing Guina, don't worry, okay? I'm fine..."

"Y-y-you died..."

"I'm right here Guina... I'm not going anywhere... You can't get rid of me that easily... If we change it so they never had to go back in time in the first place, then he never would have died anyway, right?"

"I-I-I-I guess..." Guin mumbled, looking as pale as a ghost. She wasn't taking Muscles' death well at all. She was still crying too, even with Pietro holding her like a little kid.

"Just take a few deep breaths Guina... It'll be okay..."

She wasn't calming down. In fact, Guin was starting to feel dizzy and faint. It was like the way her dad had gotten, after the New York incident, whenever it was just mentioned or brought up. Her skin was clammy and her eyes seemed like they were going in and out of focus. Pietro let out a small sigh, before he focused on the link between them, sending a soothing, calming effect to her mind. It was something he had done before, mainly with his sister when they were younger, but he was just hoping she'd calm down eventually. "Wh-what are you doing to me..."

"What do you mean?"

"You did something..." she mumbled, a bit calmer.

"I didn't do anything..." Guin scrunched up her face slightly. She was positive she felt something messing with her head and since Pietro seemed to have an all access pass, he was the most likely candidate. "What's that expression for? I didn't do anything."

"...Promise you aren't lying to me?"

"I promise Guina."

Guin nodded slightly, sniffling and still holding onto Muscles' wedding ring. She noticed that Ayita and Richard had rushed outside and overheard a bit of the exchange. Jakobsen was there - the one who was responsible for Muscles' death was there. Her hands started to shake and she wished that Magneto would kill him. "...Don't think things like that Guina, okay?" Pietro whispered to her, holding her close to him still.

"Like what?" Guin grumbled. "And why are you listening to my thoughts..."

"Because I'm worried about you... And killing Jakobsen is not the answer to our problems..."

"H-he killed Muscles! He deserves it!"

"No one deserves things like that, ever. Don't even joke about it. Killing people... It is something you want to avoid if you can avoid it... He hasn't attacked us directly yet, so we can't do anything, otherwise we will be in even bigger trouble."

Guin fell silent. She had already killed people that day - over two dozen, in fact. And she had masterminded the plan that killed even more inside of the facility. If Pietro was so adamant about this...he clearly saw her as a monster. "I don't blame you for everything that happened... For the deaths of those agents... They were attacking us, they provoked us... It was self-defense... It's okay Guina..."

"You can't have it both ways," Guin muttered. "And Jakobsen ordered those attacks - so he deserves to pay with his life."

"Look, you need to understand what is at stake here, because if you did actually care about what my counterpart cared about, what he came here to do, than you'd realize that we can't kill Jakobsen... Otherwise OMEN would have all the proof they needed to wipe out mutants completely."

"But they do it anyways! Even if we are the best we can be, they still hunt us like animals!"

"Not all of them, only some. But if we stoop down to their level, we are no better than them, and in my opinion, that means we'd be better off with them wiping us out. Since if we need to act like them, then there is no point in being here."

"I'd rather you be alive than keep my integrity and honor intact."

"That's the thing, you don't care about that sort of thing, but if we act like them, we are no better, and there isn't a point anymore, we deserve them taking all of us out. Trust me, this sort of thing, I have thought about it a lot, especially considering how my father tends to act towards humans..."

Guin shook her head, her hands shaking again. She couldn't believe what Pietro was saying - that he'd rather they all die than defend themselves against O.M.E.N. "Pietro, I killed for you and I'd do it again. Taking out Jakobsen - that would keep you safe. Then he can't hurt you."

"Guin," he said, getting serious, to the point where he wasn't using her nickname, "I will tell you this, flat out... If Jakobsen dies right here, right now, odds are that mutants would have to go on the run, and odds are that the future that they were trying to prevent would become reality."

"And it'd happen if he lived anyways," she argued. They didn't have a guarantee that the future changed for the better because of what the individuals from the future accomplished. She didn't want Muscles' sacrifice to be for nothing - and she wanted to avenge him with all of her heart. She tried to break Pietro's grip, hurting especially since he called her Guin and still angry and upset due to Muscles' death, but he was too strong. Instead, she managed to switch with him, only to instantly feel like she was about to vomit and faint if she took a single step.

"Not necessarily... And you might want to switch back, quickly Guina..." Guin, still switched with him, then started to loosen his grip - only to feel a wave of nausea hit her from the shift in weight. Her eyes crossed for a moment and she saw double. "Don't tell me vhat to do..." she muttered, too weak to hide his Serbian accent.

"I don't mean to be rude Guina... But if you don't both of us will be in a world of hurt... Only thing that was keeping me on my feet was my concern for you..." Guin stumbled slightly, before she ended up switching back with him and she had a massive, pounding headache from the entire process. "...Are you okay?"

"My head hurts..." Guin mumbled.

"...Understandable... I don't feel the best either right now..."

Guin looked up at him. "Then why are you holding me like I'm a baby?"

"Because my concern and worry for you is greater than how bad I feel right now..."

"Why..." she mumbled, her eyes watering again. She wanted Jakobsen dead and then she wanted to go home and hide in her room and play video games. She didn't want to be a part of this anymore. She didn't want to be a hero. She just wanted a normal, stress free life filled with gambling, drinking, and talk show appearances for Stark Industries.

"...Because I love you..."

"...I just want to kill this lame Voldemort knockoff and go home," Guin sniffled. It wasn't what she wanted to say to him but she was scared to ask him that question - scared that he'd say no and see her as some sort of monster, someone that was just good for a brief fling and then could be tossed away.

"...No Guina, we can't do that... You know we can't... We can't kill Jakobsen..."

"He'll kill us if we don't."

"You don't know that."

"I'm going outside, Pietro...Let go of me." She dried her eyes slightly on her sleeve. She wasn't going to let Jakobsen cause Pietro's death too. She was going to take care of this, no matter what it took. She'd do anything.

"No, because I know what you are planning on doing. I can't let you go."

"I'm doing this for you!"

"No, you aren't... Not really..."

"He'll kill you if I don't!" Guin protested. "S.H.I.E.L.D. pardoned you, but O.M.E.N. could undo that...I-I can't live without you. I'd rather commit suicide."

"Guina, you can't do it, understand?"

"You don't get to control me, Piet."

"I know... But also if you move or I set you down I'm likely to collapse completely, and you are saying that you are concerned about me? Then listen to what my wishes are, what I want, and I want you to stay far away from Jakobsen, and go nowhere near him." He was using the mental link to his advantage, putting a strong suggestion in Guin's mind to do just that. And inexperienced with these sort of things, Guin just knew that she felt a little odd. "...Fine..." she said numbly.

"...Good..."

Dean Kesseli

Location: OMEN Facility - Outside

Damon didn't say much, just hugging Ayita back tightly. His dragon tattoo was still on the loose and was likely fueled by his anger and desire to keep her safe. So much had happened between them that had not yet been resolved. He needed to fix the mistakes that he had made. He kissed Ayita's forehead, relieved that she was alright. If something had happened to her...No, she didn't need him to protect her. She was strong and independent and fierce - all the more reason why he was in love with this girl, Damon realized.

Dean didn't feel too much motion sickness from the Pietro Taxi, given that he was used to moving at speeds similar to those himself. However, he couldn't help but roll his eyes at the speedster. He was clutching his girlfriend like a baby in the middle of all of this? Dean wasn't an X-Man really, but even he knew that wasn't the most fighting ready position. He shuffled outside awkwardly with the others, spotting the man that Richard was talking about. His stomach clenched. With all of the damage they had done to the facility, Dean doubted they'd be welcomed with open arms.

"H-hey....HEY THERE MR. JAKOBSEN SIR, IT'S NICE TO MEET YOU!" Dean bellowed.

Virginia Crypt

Location: Carlisle
Skills: N/A

As the man examined her, Virginia locked her gaze with his. She had made one of her closest friends when she was under suspicion of being without a soul - the late Mary Hale. And it was not all too surprising for people to make such assumptions, after all she was a Crypt. They lived in the shadows and celebrated the macabre - the entire family was gothic. Seeing that she would not have to duel him in order to live, Virginia lowered her axes slightly. "Carlisle," she told him clearly.

"Minocranies?" she asked. It wasn't a term she had ever heard before yet she had no doubt he was referring to the strange flakes she had seen from the sky. "Are you referring to the false snowfall?" she asked. Her thoughts flickered to Elizaveta once more. Could it have been her? Was she still alive? Mary and Virginia had been all but certain that all hope was lost for the Grand Duchess - but perhaps this warrior knew more.

Maeve Brennan

Location: Annan Carriages Passing
Skills: N/A

Maeve already had a strong distaste for these two men. Lord Rutherford, the Scot who lacked critical thinking skills and then Lord Egerton, the pompous ass. Her nostrils flared ever so slightly and she had to pity the timid woman that accompanied them. She had yet to form an opinion on the third men, but she fully anticipated to not take to him as well. He was a man after all in the company of these distasteful people - even if he seemed a bit charming. "T'be sure, me lady," Maeve answered her employer.

"Com along, den. If you're worth at laest 'alf of yer collective egos in strength den dis should be no trouble," Maeve told the two lords. Her prejudice was coloring her speech but she did not care. She knew where she stood with her employer and she knew she could charm these two if she wanted to, but she didn't want to. Calum had died, her child was going off to a new life in Rome, and she had work to do in order to earn Roisin her place. She led the lords to Rory first. She did not want to see Calum's lifeless form just yet.
