Beatrice watched as Tesla brought over buckets to two of her people - Thalia and Alexander. It was a good sign to her that they even had the resources to make a mold. That was just further indication of how well this place was set up. Not only did they have the capabilities, they clearly had the experience with this sort of thing before and she relaxed slightly. She could leave the others in this place and go on her own with a clear conscience - that was good to know. Of course, she still hadn't made any sort of decision yet as to whether or not to stay or go, but she valued having the option. These people, although rigorous and definitely a military operation, were kind.
The speech about keeping the facility clean registered in Beatrice's mind, causing her to go back to juvi. She had gotten a similar speech whenever she would be sent to the facility - about keeping the areas clean and tidy, about how the facility was going to be their world. Good behavior would be rewarded and whatnot. The supplies in the back were lacking a bit from the list she read out - namely in terms of pads. However, she imagined that since they were in the south, they might be included anyways and just not mentioned. She was content to sit there quietly, more or less people watching. The man who went up after Tatiana seemed a bit unhinged.
For a moment, she considered telling Thalia no to getting her supplies for her, but Beatrice then nodded her head and she got up. Heading up to the table, she paused for a moment. "I'm not Thalia," she said quietly. "She's got her stub full," she then finished, before retrieving the supplies for Thalia and setting them down next to the woman. And in the height of irritation, it wasn't too long after that that Beatrice's name was called and she had to go back up to the table. "I am Beatrice," she then said, grabbing her own supplies and retreating back to the table Alex was at.
Her eyes quietly dared him to ask her to go and get his things, too.
Jack was getting more and more uncomfortable with all of the attention that Tatiana was getting. He liked the strong woman from Boston - but admittedly, that opinion was purely colored by nostalgia. However, as he took Jamie from Tatiana as she went up to the front to retrieve her supplies, he felt paranoid again. Tatiana had been singled out in front of everyone. His mind was convincing him that everyone was staring at her, making snap judgments about his wife - people he didn't even know. From what he could tell, Tatiana had already gotten mixed up with a group of assholes, basically forced to stay with them no matter what for months. He didn't like the idea of anyone else incoming into this group deciding to take a shot at the trembling young mother.
As Tatiana returned, he relaxed again slightly. He was trying to convince himself that Tatiana was entirely safe - that he didn't need to essentially create a bubble of protection and safety around her at all times. This operation was good at weeding out the bad eggs, from what he could tell. They seemed to be good at just about everything after all, so he figured that rejecting anyone dangerous to Tatiana would be child's play for this group. He then nodded a bit bleakly at what his wife had said about Thana. "1Da, on delayet..." he replied softly, not really knowing what else to say.
His name was called and Jack gave Tatiana a gentle pat on the knee, before he went up to the front of the room and accepted his pack. "Thank ya," he said, giving Auntie a nod before he went and quickly returned to his wife. He had to resist the urge to run back on over to her, as if he was a little kid again and they were about to play the floor is lava.
Gene was still smirking from time to time as breakfast ended, thinking back to the quip her brother had made. There were so many levels of irony to that joke and it was a shame that the others were clueless to it. One day - hopefully not too soon - it was possible that some of them would understand. She didn't know what the Lord Major had been talking about with the Captain before they got there, but she nodded at his offer to just ring the steward if Vera needed anything. She had to hold back a quip that she was pretty certain her brother was going to be fulfilling that duty until Vera's cold passed. However, her interest was piqued as he mentioned the bazar in Benha.
She always made people retrieve a token or something for her when they went off on travels without her. She considered briefly if she ought to extent the favor and get things for the people back home. Maybe if anything struck her fancy, she would. But if not, she hardly owed them anything. Things were tense at best and presents might give the wrong impression. Ensuring that she had her things, Gene then got up and had a bit of a skip in her step as she got off of the ship with the others. It was a contrasting image to Nora, who was more calm and collected, while Gene was a bit of a bouncing ball of energy.
"If you would not mind, Lauren, I would be glad to accompany you," Nora said quietly. It was her obnoxiously British way of saying ~please don't leave me alone~ without actually saying that. Emotions had to be held back in speech, her mother and father had always been very clear on that growing up. She knew that she was supposed to be trying to emulate Josephine - to live life to the fullest a bit more - but it was difficult to just change one's entire world view over night. Still, however, Nora was determined to try to engage a bit more with the world and have more self confidence.
She then nodded a bit at the Lord Major's suggestion of meeting up again later around lunch - however she also still did not wish to journey alone. She was in a strange place she had not yet been before, with no notion of what danger could lurk around any corner. Even if they had not been in this mysterious Fellowship business, she was a woman. It would be safer to travel with Lauren. And besides, the last time she had walked alone in a city had resulted in her being branded along the Nile river.
"So!" Gene looked at the people gathered there. "Who wants the honor of getting to go around with me?" she asked. Nora sighed slightly. George's sister really was a bit much.

Walnut was listening carefully to the audible conversation in the room, not wanting to miss a mention. It was incredibly annoying that both Swamp and Plum were males. If they took Swamp to be behind the chair accident, then things would be in Walnut's favor - and if they thought it was Plum, then the odds were against her. It was incredibly annoying for her to be placed in a position where she had to hope that the truth would be believed. It was an almost scratchy, itchy sensation to be relying on it and not deception and lies. However, she then had to resist the urge to roll her eyes as they were informed that the bridge was blown.
Walnut allowed herself to be searched, her eyes then going over to the singer. She knew who the woman was. "How the mighty fall from grace," she mumbled slightly, trying not to smirk or laugh too much. There was something funny about seeing Swamp attempting to win over the favor of the chanteuse. At the nudge of the shoulder, Walnut complied, walking forward and following Quinton. She knew that she had made an enemy of Dr. Swamp, but it did not truthfully bother her. She would find a better accomplice than Titian soon enough and make her move.
Cecily tried not to think too much of the guy who drove off - odds were, he had nothing to do with any of this. She couldn't see danger everywhere she looked - it wasn't healthy to be that paranoid, as much as she felt like she was heading in that direction. People were just people. She didn't know about all of this until recently - not everyone in the world was already in on this scheme. She took a deep breath, before Cecily jumped a bit as her phone buzzed with Keystone's reply: It can wait. Text is preferred. She didn't like speaking on the phone, anyways. Texting was easier - she could carefully consider her reply without the promptness expected from a phone call.
She took the three things of orange juice, smiling a bit at Roy. A part of her, she had to admit, was tempted to get a huge container and combine them all, that way she would have a lot of some pulp orange juice. And while she did enjoy pulp, she still enjoyed the drink without it and she wasn't about to make Roy go look for a gallon jug or something similar. Cecily then couldn't help but grin slightly, seeing the animal crackers. "Keystone texted back, said he's busy at the moment but... If you let me know what exactly to say, I can play messenger pigeon," Cecily told Roy, figuring he was better at this stuff than she was.
Cecily couldn't help but giggle as he instantly made a mess of the car. "From what I know about guys and their cars, he's definitely going to kill you - or worse, confiscate your man card for good."
Virginia paused for a moment. She did wish for speed, but she knew that she was essentially being offered a choice between experience and arrogance. She would prefer the journey without as much hazard even if it took a bit longer. The rush to Gretna Green, to see Millicent, it was motivated by this wedding. If they arrived after it already happened and Millicent wished for Virginia to help her end it, all it would take would be a swift blow from her axe. She was flexible as to when that fatal stroke would be delivered - of course, she was going to allow Millicent to make that decision at the moment. Her mind could easily change though.
"I'll take the slow and sure journey," Virginia decided calmly. Her eyes then darted over towards the young man, doubting for a moment that he really had made that journey this often in these exact conditions. At any rate, if something were to happen she would be far less annoyed in the company of the older gentlemen and less likely to be tempted to decapitate him. "Thank you for your offer, but we can't afford a mishap," she told the younger man. She was a Crypt - they were polite.
Hopefully, they arrived at Gretna at the right time - whatever that turned out to be.
Maeve Brennan
Location: House Kirkpatrick - Study (Main Floor) Skills: N/A
Maeve sighed slightly, hearing Millicent's response. She didn't ask her what she had read just to be told a vague philosophical statement. She took the letter from Millicent, unaware that it was a name and address on the front. Well, Maeve more or less assumed that was what was written there - that tended to be the case - but if someone had asked her who it was addressed to she wouldn't have known. For all she knew, Millicent could have written Maeve Brennan on the envelope and she wouldn't have known.
"Sure, I'll 'av it sent - but yer 'av ter tell me what it was you read first. Naw riddles, naw 'alf answers, since I am guessin' this is important an' that you don't want yer fiance to know aboyt it," Maeve wagered. She had a firm grip on the envelope and wasn't about to surrender it back over to Millicent. Sure, it was a bit of a gamble and it was mean, but Maeve didn't pride herself on being a nice person. She had a gut feeling that whatever Millicent had just read, it pertained to her and the reasons why Lady Kirkpatrick wished for her to be there. If not, well, then it was better safe than sorry. She had to know what it was.
@FantasyChic: will update here once Anastasia is posted for.
@Nallore: "Not every mutant woman, damn it, I've got a niece!" Havok said, chuckling. "You'd like her - her name's Sara, she's up at Xavier's. She's just a teenager and is already raising hell." As Colossus came back into the room, his face fell a bit, hearing Havok talk about his niece. Sara was just a few years younger than his sister, Illyana. Colossus still hadn't been able to find her, after all of this time. He wished Illyana could have been up at Xavier's where it was safe.
"Remind me to send Sara birthday card," Colossus told Havok. "I almost forgot."
"Yeah, sure thing," Havok told him. "I was going to ask Veil about heading up there this weekend but..." he fell silent, knowing that the odds were slim that they would see their fearless leader any time soon. And Veil had indicated that Spark Plug would be her replacement.
Caitlin, meanwhile, was considering how to diplomatically answer Spark Plug's question. "Normally, I would want to keep you here for observation for a few days... but this isn't the first time someone from the Mutant Underground has gotten hurt, so I know that you'll be wanting to leave. Give the clinic a call if you feel weird at all, but otherwise, I'm going to give you some oxycodone for the pain and you can go." Caitlin then handed Spark Plug a bag with a few weeks supply. "This is a controlled substance, so don't abuse it."
Veil
Location: Jail Skills: N/A
Veil looked at her friend. She doubted that the officers would come for them any time soon. Places like this, they usually wanted to drive those they captured out of their minds a little bit before interrogating them. It was all about getting inside the criminal's heads - and they couldn't risk the safety of the Mutant Underground.
"When you were at O.M.E.N.... How did you know you could trust Freddie?" Veil asked. She had heard Sapphire talk about him before and she knew a little bit about the ex-O.M.E.N. agent. The last she had heard of him, he had joined up with S.H.I.E.L.D. A bit better of an organization, but one that couldn't protect mutants no matter how hard they tried. She knew that Sapphire wasn't exactly going to open up about everything - she still didn't even know the name of everyone at X-Factor that the ice queen had worked with and Veil was her best friend.
"He was one of the people experimenting on you, right?"
Sunshine
Location: the Morlock Tunnels Skills: N/A
To let you guys get an idea of what this place looks like better than I could describe it
Erg turned and stared at Max for a moment, a bit surprised to hear those words come from his mouth. Most mutants knew how dire the situation was for the survival of their people and now, looking at Max, all he saw was a naive young boy. "Perhaps I should have opened with some sort of... jingle, a fun and catchy tune?" Erg suggested. His tone was anything but friendly. Just as he had been glaring at Jack earlier, now he was glaring at Max. "Or maybe I should have offered her an evening gown, as if this were some sort of department store? You are right. Please, lead the Morlocks. Protect this community. You are clearly qualified to do so."
He then sighed slightly, looking at them. These people were so clueless as to the ways of the world, it made him pity them - and wonder how they had survived this long. "Do you want to know why I brought this gun over? In New York City, there was an incident involving the agents of a man called Sinister. They went into the tunnels and found the Morlocks living there - and since they were welcomed with open arms and no questions were asked, they were slaughtered. The sewer ran red with their blood - the blood of Morlock brothers and sisters. I will not make the same mistakes. I am here to protect my people - and only my people. If you think my methods are cruel or harsh, then leave."
"This is not a refugee camp or a way station - we are not fighting the war on the Surface," Erg finished up sternly. He was still holding his gun.
Blink had made her way over and she put a hand on Erg's gun, lowering it gently. "They're just kids," she told him. "They don't know any better. We're safe. They aren't going to bring people to kill us," she said firmly.
Sunshine, meanwhile, was a bit annoyed that the attention had shifted away from her and was going over to the pretty girl she had seen earlier in the nail salon. Huffing a bit, she found a loose rock and she started kicking it around. It reminded her a bit of how she first found what she thought of as her minor power - her enhanced accuracy. She had been kicking a rock around like this when one of the older kids on the streets started to call her names.
She had kicked the rock straight into his left eye. She smirked a bit, remembering the way he had screamed in pain - but more importantly, that no one ever messed with her again. She glanced over at the others around Leighton, noticing that the conversation seemed to be pretty tense and Sunshine decided to wander. She eventually found a crate of board games and she dug through, eventually finding Chutes and Ladders.
"Jackpot!" she shouted, opening it up and setting up. She was about to take her turn when she remembered that she needed other people to play with and she looked around, before her face fell. Everyone else was busy doing other things. She was alone still.
Location: First Floor - Front Entrance Skills: Archery
"We'll talk later about the adoption forms!" Guin called out to Danger as the robot walked away. She didn't care that the robot had called her strange - sure, if someone else had she would have punched them or convinced Pietro to do so. However, Danger was a million times cooler than most of the people that had insulted her in her lifetime and since Guin wanted the robot to adopt her, she figured she would give the artificial intelligence a pass. Besides, her actual mother insulted her plenty so she was used to it.
Turning her attention to her boyfriend, Guin rolled her eyes. She didn't like it when he told her to stay away from the fighting. Sure, she had some PTSD from the O.M.E.N. mission and yes, she still saw Muscles dying when she closed her eyes... but after taking out Dean and saving Richard, she felt better than she had in months. Guin was able to believe in herself again, to believe that even though she arguably had the lamest powers on the team, she didn't need to use them in order to help people. "If you had your way, I'd never go on missions with the team," she pointed out to him.
She got an idea, however, as she looked outside where Mary and the others were, where Danger had gone. "Hold on one second..." she told him, taking an inhibitor and attaching it to her arrow. She then went up to the exit and aimed her bow, looking to hit Mary since she seemed to be the one being controlled at the moment. Drawing back the bowstring, Guin released the arrow and it seemed to be about to hit Mary, until the plant manipulator knocked it out of the way with a vine. "Damn it..." she cursed. They didn't have a lot of these to spare. She took the rest of them and handed them to Pietro. "Be careful, okay? I-I can't lose you."
"I'll be fine Guina, don't worry."
"Alright. Mary seems to be giving them the most trouble, so maybe hit her first..." Guin bit her lip slightly. She didn't like the idea of Pietro going back into the fray. She didn't want him to get hurt.
"Yeah, seems like it... Figured going after her would make sense, considering she is holding a lot of people off by herself..."
She nodded, knowing that Mary likely was finally using her full strength. A lot of people with powers and good intentions tended to hold back, that way no one would get too seriously injured. "Good luck."
"...Yeah, feel like I might need it at this point..." he said, giving her a bit of a smile.
Guin hesitated for a moment, before she threw her arms around him and hugged him tightly. She really wanted Pietro to go downstairs and be safe. Or for him to run away from the Mansion and be away from all of this violence. If he died, Guin knew that she would survive - but she wouldn't really be living.
"It'll be okay Guina, don't worry," he said, smiling at her before he gave her a kiss.
Dean Kesseli
Location: First Sub Basement - Operating Theater Skills: N/A
Dean woke up screaming. There was a blinding light and his hand felt warm - way too warm. As he slowly moved his fingers where he could see them, he saw that his hand was caked with blood. It wasn't dry yet, either. It was moist and as his fingers moved, he could tell that it was slippery. The entire sensation made the wannabe speedster want to vomit and he shut his eyes, trying desperately to go back into the blackness of unconsciousness. He regretted staying behind to join the team full time. He should have left when he graduated high school. He should have left after prom.
"Richard, man, I'm.... I'm so sorry," Dean stammered, remembering that the blood on his hand belonged to his friend. He liked Richard. The memories flashed back and they were so vivid. He had ripped Richard's kidney out. He had tried to do it again. He was going to torture his friend if the Stark girl hadn't stopped him. Dean's eyes darted down and he saw the wounds from the ice. It felt like it was burning, like his flesh was on fire even though it was just cold - a speedster's weakness. Dean's head felt like it was spinning as he caught a sight of Beast.
"B-B-Beast... C-can you call my parents and have them come pick me up?" Dean asked, feeling small and scared. His hands were shaking and he couldn't stop looking at the blood that covered them. He wanted to go home, to see his baby sister and run away from this.
Neil saw that there was a new person in the room - not a girl he recognized, but it was a big Mansion so he might have just not met her yet. However, she seemed to be saying something - either that or just moving her mouth for no reason - and he hoped it wasn't anything too important. Well, he knew that for this mission, it wouldn't be. He had a job to do, hearing intact or hearing completely busted it didn't matter. The girl was holding a hammer though, meaning that she was likely there to fight them. And that was fine by Neil.
But before he could do anything, Allison showed up and threw them all out the window using her telekinesis. If he thought he had been in pain before, it was nothing compared to how much the impact with the ground hurt. His head was still ringing as Neil tried to push himself off of the ground and to his feet. He felt incredibly shaky, but he managed to do so, coughing as he looked at what was going on. Almost everyone was out here, including some of the old X-Men.
For what he wanted to do, Ayita was in the way but Mesmero wasn't controlling him and forcing him to care about others that were controlled. He just had a job to do. Fortunately for Ayita, as Neil tried to destroy Cyclops' visor and unleash that ruby beam without control, he failed miserably. His head was spinning and he was barely standing. Neil reached out his hands, trying one more time to destroy Cyclops' helmet. Instead, his vision went dark and Neil collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

@FantasyChic@Nallore@Kirah: Tempest will notice on her computer that Maria and Novikova are in Technology. They seem to have taken out two of the stealth suits, which is odd since Barton told everyone to stay on base until he returned. It definitely warrants looking into or at least a mention to Abercrombie.
Dominika Novikova
Location: The Playground - Technology Skills: Nuclear Physics, Jack of All Trades (Science)
"Honestly... I have no idea," Novikova admitted. "The Quantum Realm is incredibly hard to understand. Even Einstein rejected a lot of the conclusions regarding Quantum Mechanics, deriding it as ghostly action at a distance, even the famous quote that God doesn't play dice with the universe..." she was rambling a little bit. Behind her ruby tinted shades, her eyes were darting around the room.
She knew that the science indicated that most likely, Sparks and Blake were long gone. It was going to be incredibly difficult for them to manipulate the probability fields and find them before they collapsed - in fact, it was technically speaking impossible. All she had was a thought experiment, but hopefully it was one that would come to fruition shortly. Maria might even be able to help her with it, since she could absorb and use other people's powers.
Taking the stealth suit from her, Novikova put it on and tested it out, pressing the button as Maria indicated and she seemed to blend into her surroundings. "Come on, I'll see if Pym is in town and can meet us - he said he had a conference happening here, so we might just be lucky..." Novikova said in a whisper.
Bonnie Chase
Location: The Playground - Bio-Engineering and Research Skills: N/A
"Everything is dangerous if we don't understand it," Bonnie pointed out to him. There were several scientific advancements that were argued they shouldn't have been messing around with. And true, some of them were tragedies - the atomic bomb, for one. But without anything being ventured, then there would be nothing gained. Of course, a philosophical discussion on the dangers of scientific advancement wasn't really what she was in the mood for.
It had been two months since she had been kissed, by her estimation. And almost eight years since she had been with anyone. To put it bluntly - Bonnie was very easily distracted by Flynn's lips and his muscles. They were HUGE. His pecks seemed to be the size of her face and Bonnie felt them pressing up against her. She let out a slight moan as he started making out with her, feeling his strong arms around her.
"Y-yes, it does agent," Bonnie answered, sounding a bit out of breath. Her face was bright red and her heart was beating so fast that if she had been Bruce Banner, it would have been time for the Hulk to come out.
Raynor Blake
Location: the Quantum Realm Skills: N/A
Sparky's blow smarted and the Wasp stared at the naive little girl who struck her - the very same girl who refused to eat, even if it meant death. "I'm already in hell," the Wasp said bluntly. She considered for a moment abandoning them, but she knew that there was strength in numbers. Rescue was likely never going to happen, it wouldn't be a possibility, and she would go insane without someone to talk to.
"Guys, let's not fight!" Raynor protested. He coughed a bit, feeling weaker every second he was in this place. It was sapping his strength. The longer he stayed here, the more quickly he became tired and fatigued. The air felt like poison with each breath and he rubbed his face, trying to focus on the fight between Sparks and the Wasp. They needed each other to survive. And if he didn't make it, he needed someone to make sure that Sparky was okay - someone to watch her back.
"...Run!" the Wasp shouted suddenly. While they had been distracted and bickering, a giant ARMY OF SPIDER CREATURES had appeared behind them. There were easily thousands of the giant things there, enough to scare even the Wasp.
"For fuck's sake..." Raynor then grabbed Sparky and started to run as fast as he could, each step feeling like it was killing him.

Emma hesitated, before he nodded and started showing Skaoi the winding path back through the bowels of the Manuscriptorium. He didn't know too much about the girl or why the CHS was so interested in her, but he had overheard some pieces of gossip. The walls in this building were thin and as Emma glanced back at Skaoi, she seemed so nice and sweet he couldn't help but confess something.
"Can you keep a secret, miss?" Emma asked, as they reached the Darke section of the Manuscriptorium. Some of these books, if opened, would shriek and scream due to the Charms that had been used on them. Emma hated being in this place, but there was something he wanted to get off of his chest. "I-I overheard Ms. Rincewind speaking with the CHS a few weeks ago..." Emma paused for a moment. Ms. Rincewind in this case didn't refer to the ExtraOrdinary Wizard, but instead the Castle Alchemist - Arya's mother.
"They were talking about the ExtraOrdinary... I think the CHS knows something important about her... Something about her, y'know, wellbeing."
Wizard Way - a bustling and busy street in the southwestern portion of the Castle. This beautiful road directly connects the Castle's two most important locations: Wizard Tower, a gorgeous silver building that seems to take on a purple haze, and the Palace, home of the Queen of the Castle. Along Wizard Way there is also the Manuscriptorium, essentially a mixture between a business and a library. The knowledge of the Castle and the Small Wet Country Across the Sea is located here, guarded by specially trained scribes.
Of course, Wizard Way also conveniently has a stable near the Gothyk Grotto. This store is where those kids in their rebellious phase, wanting to mess with the Darke and break their parents hearts, go to gather. Mona's horse will be able to stay here for the night. In order to leave the Castle, you would need to go over the drawbridge and since the sun has set, those bridges won't be lowered again until first light. She'll have to stay in the Castle.
Fleur will notice that the Sickenesse seems to have left her. In fact, it has left everyone with Magykal abilities. Her efforts on the Witch's Road, combined with the battle in the real world at Wizard Tower, had weakened the Elder God considerably. She hadn't just found a cure for the Sickenesse - she had destroyed it. The Elder God, for the moment, seemed to be at her and Wanda's mercy.
"It was to break free of my prison," Chthon answered her cryptically. "What you call the Sickenesse... I call an extension of my being. An attempt to leave my world and enter yours. And bah! I was Summoned!"
A memory would then come to the front of Fleur's mind - Jadis' efforts to call on Chthon at the Port Witch Coven House. Jadis had failed to hold that power for herself, but it would make sense now to Fleur. Jadis had been successful in bringing out Chthon. She had unleashed a portion of him into the world. The Sickenesse was a part of the Elder God attempting to break through, using Magyk users in an attempt to get a host. But none of them had lasted - and some had died from his attempts at manifestation, from the Sickennese.
Runa turned her head, looking at the pesky mortal who continued to so openly insult and challenge her. He continued to act as if he knew better, treating only her like this and not her husband. In her long lifetime, she had dealt with more than a few sexist pricks and she did not have any notion of entertaining these slights. "Give me a moment, cousin," Runa said. She turned her weapons on Grimspound for a moment and a blast of darkness went out, hitting him and sending him flying off of the tower in the same manner as Ahote.
"If you would like, young one, I can teach you," she then offered Arnora with a smile. She really liked the girl. It probably helped that she had such a distaste for the young man she had just sent flying off a twenty story drop.
As for Rhys, Chthon was reckless and chaotic, but not stupid. GOODBYE, the Elder God told him, before abandoning his host. Rhys was solidly beaten by those in Wizard Tower and Chthon had come no closer to securing Halley. There was no sense in continuing to inhabit a feeble and broken form. Rhys' features would then return to how they had been before Chthon possessed him, the beaten ex-Wizard looking pitiful on the staircase.
"...Chthon is gone," Runa said, recognizing the signs. She was worried, however. The Elder God was probably looking for a new host - and there were dozens of people in Wizard Tower for him to choose from.
Banner nodded, taking the cloak from Nova and he tied it around his waist like a towel. It covered up all of the important bits, so it was better than nothing. It was a shame that Astrid didn't have her powers, as she could have summoned something for him. However, there was a blur of silver and suddenly, Banner was fully clothed. Marya smirked from the corner and waved at him, and Banner nodded in thanks.
"Everything hurts but... I'm fine," Myrus said softly. He didn't know if they should go or stay, but he didn't want to leave Valda here by herself. He really wanted to be around his big sisters at the moment - both of them. "I don't want to go if Valda is staying," he said, sounding like he was whispering but it was because of the pain in his throat.
"Hey, can someone help?!" Antonije called out, before he paused for a moment. He coughed a bit and his eyes seemed to glow for a moment, as if some dust or something had gone into them, but then he shook his head like nothing had happened. He was still holding little puppy Sylvi, hoping one of the Magyk users could come and help. "Tetka... Please?" he called out to Myth.
Halley stared at Richard for a moment, before she just laughed in his face. "I'm older than you are. And I don't need to take orders from some time displaced mutant," she told him quite frankly. She then turned to look at Cuyler for a moment. "But, by all means! You both are right. In fact, I'll arrange for you to have an arena match with my grandfather, Cuyler. No weapons, of course, since you clearly are powerful enough to hold your own. I'll even have Brucey blip back to the twenty first so that way we can have some popcorn to watch with."
The Mistress of Chaos smirked at them for a moment, as if she was saying your move. She then looked at her siblings for a moment. "I'll go find Mum and Dad," she told them, before heading out into the entranceway after Richard.
Out in the main entrance way, the Floor had a message for them, but it lacked its usual rainbow colors and cheek:
But back inside the Great Hall, something extraordinary and unexpected happened - Myth's water broke.
Rainbrook shook his head slightly at Zekarra. His own problems could wait. Ahote looked like he was in bad shape, though thankfully Zekarra had managed to heal him. He then glanced up, seeing someone else start to fall from the top of the tower and Rainbrook grimaced. This wasn't how he had been told the versions of events would go at all. And who was throwing people out of windows?
Casting a spell, Rainbrook looked up at Grimspound and managed to slow his descent for the most part, causing the half Asgardian to hit the ground and only break a few ribs, rather than die. "Someone's angry up there..." Rainbrook muttered.
