Silent and self-contained, Alexander wasn't a particularly talkative person, keeping his interests to himself, though this never significantly impacted his personal life; he always believed that by being silent, he would avoid problems that could affect his well-being.

He was, for most of his life, scared of catching diseases or injuries that could limit him, though he never really did anything to toughen them up. As a result, he became this weird, silent person, who you'd really only hear their thoughts in the web.

And Alex's thoughts were eventually heard, in the web, it was all different. His emotions were explosive and talkative, defending his personal topics, which were mainly science, melee weapons, eastern animation, and at least some conspiracy theories. He also likes writing power fantasies, yep, he's that sort of guy.

Even if he is silent and self-contained, Alex does show some degree of pity towards some particular people, and also, in other cases, grudge. Alex isn't really social or particularly good at social skills, and for most of his life, he has felt ignored, like he wasn't important, even to himself.

History

Survivor's History: aria was born as the oldest in her family, her father owned a family farm outside of the town of Zelienople and her mother growing up on the farm from the age of seven when she was old enough she would take care of the farm animals, they owned four cows, five horses, ten sheep and about thirty chickens. Maria actually enjoyed working side by side with her father, when Maria was around the age of thirteen her father decided to take her out on their first hunting trip. He had bought her a bow her first kill was a white tailed deer, but when Maria was fifteen years old her mother and father started arguing constantly until eventually they filed for divorce. Maria had a choice to either live with her father or her mother, but she chose to stay with her father since they were closer and Maria was old enough to choose which parent she wanted to live with.

Maria was still close and saw her mother and sisters quiet often, when high school came around Maria did very well always getting A's and B's and the occasional C here and there. Maria eventually graduated from high school, and she went to Chatham University in Pittsburgh living in an apartment she would be able to see her mother and sisters fairly often. She got a part-time job at a retro diner in the city that sold mainly breakfast all day and worked there usually during the evenings while she went to school in the early morning and afternoon. Maria would also always visit her father as well during breaks or in between semesters.

College life was harder then high school was for Maria, but she still got good grades and managed to make quiet a few friends and she would spend time when she wasn't busy with either her part time job or school work. As a treat for herself Maria decided to go on a solo vacation to Luana spent a few days there enjoying herself before everything went bad, and managed to find a group of survivors near the resort.

History

Survivor's History: Kaitlyn was born and raised in Staten Island New York, her mother was a flight attendant for Spirit Airlines and her father was a pilot for the same company as well to. The two met on a flight once and talked a little bit, and then went their separate ways, before meeting again on another flight they both worked on. They started to talk a little bit more and eventually they exchanged numbers and they started to date and after two years of dating they eventually got married. Kaitlyn was born a year after they had gotten married, and they both loved her.

Eventually her mother retired early to raise their daughter together, her father was always on trips but whenever he came home he would spend all of his spare time with her. Kaitlyn growing up had a couple of real good friends, and always did really well in school and she enjoyed every moment in school so much so that she decided to go and become a teacher and has gone to college for it.

Kaitlyn decided to take her vacation by herself to Luana by herself, and took the flight over there she enjoyed the start of her vacation and the great weather there as well to, tuning out the rest of the world and just enjoyed the entire time. Then the outbreak happened at the island when she was at the local concert and managed to find a group of survivors outside of the main resort itself.

Overview

Locations: Luana Isle, a small US territory near Midway and Hawaii.
Time Frame: July 1st, 2025 (One month after the outbreak has started.)

Goal of RP: Survival and finding a group and settlement in a new world full of the undead and hostile groups, and get off of the island.

Premise:

You had decided to go out on a little vacation to a small island called Luana Isle near Hawaii, whether it was just a solo trip, or with some friends, family or a loved one, with tons of dancing, great music and relaxation. Before you ended up leaving on your trip word had been spreading about a strange virus going around the world causing those infected to be very aggressive. You decided to tune it out and wanted to enjoy your vacation and turned off your connection to the outside world.

One night on your vacation a concert is being performed by local musicians and you were enjoying the music, when a loud scream could be heard and you saw a young woman tackling a drunken man and started to bite into his neck and all hell suddenly started to break loose. You quickly fled to your suite on the island. The governor of the island would later that evening ask both locals from the nearby towns and villages around the island as well as those staying in the resort to shelter in place for further news.

For the first time since you decided to go on your vacation turned on to the news on your phone, or computer or the TV during the few days on your vacation the world quickly started to devolve and countries were locking down their boarders. A day later the US Navy sent over a few destroyers to quarantine the island itself stranding you and the rest of the locals on the island itself full of the dead.

*Rules are enforced and you will be removed if you break them.

• Applications:
  • Post the CS in the OOC for review.
  • Discord is a requirement to join and link will be sent once your app has been approved. Its the best way to keep in contact with the GM for rolls, and any questions for quick replies. I aint hunting around the guild for you.
  • Change the color code to a unique one (i.e. not in use by a current character). Please try to avoid colors that are very similar to the eye as well.
  • Choose a faceclaim or a realistic representation of your character that is not currently in use - if you're not sure if someone is using that FC, ask the GM. Faceclaims must be real life images, or realistic art - No anime or cartoon like character images.
  • Special - To New Comers To The Guild - Pm The Gm with a writing sample
• Post Content
  • No use of racial slurs in posts. Sure, you may be playing a racist white guy from the 1950s, so just use asterisks - you'll convey the same idea.
  • No nudity in the guild at all it's against the rules and none wants to see your character's dangly bits and other parts in general, this is PG-13 when it comes to romance, sexual interactions, exposure, and so forth... Violence wise, anything goes. This can get gross.
  • Fade to black for things that verge into the area of smut/other taboo subjects. Seriously. Your post will be deleted otherwise.
  • The world and NPCs and events are controlled by the GM. If the GM says it's raining, then it's raining. Results will be randomized per dice mechanics.
• Posting & General Behavior
  • Follow all of the rules of the forum - they're the law of the land.
  • You must post once every 7 days - once your last post on RPG reads as 10 days ago you will be removed from the RP. A hard no on an extension request if you are waiting to the last minute unless it's something out of your control. The GM will work with you if you cannot post at least in 7 days. DO NOT ABUSE IT!
  • You may NOT copy and paste something from someone else's post and add it to your own. This includes dialogue.
  • Must wait for GM to update between posts.
  • No editing posts without GM approval.
  • Read all posts! Seriously, people are reading yours so spread the love and read theirs!
  • No tagging for interactions in your post - people use this as a crutch usually to get away with not reading everything.
• Other:
  • Character deaths will happen, no one is safe - it will be randomized and you will be notified when your death approaches. (This does not mean you are out of the RP, it will mean however you need to make a new character should you wish to continue - I recommend having Back Up Characters Ready)
  • Under Extras in the CS also mention your zombie universe, etc so I know you at least skimmed this...

In terms of how the zombies move and act and the zombie virus itself is more akin to the Walking Dead’s Wildfire virus. The setting itself is basically a mix of the game Dead Island, as well as the game State of Decay. Now do you have to play or understand these games or shows? Definitely not, just using some ideas from these few.
