I like that Hulkling has the one piece sleeveless speed suit. I always wanted some form of smart Hulk to dress similar but he always wears lab coats or regular tanktops with khakis...

I think the issue is the origin of the name "Hulkling". While you are correct that he is not literally related to the Hulk, according to Marvel Wikia, Hulkling picked that name because he had a slight resemblance to the Hulk. Nevertheless, I am not expert on Hulkling.

I mean, what's in a name? Black Tarantula and Devil Spider are separate characters like Hulkling, things shouldn't have to be kosher with the guy playing Spiderman [I know that's you but you get what I'm saying]. And the way Marvel plays the 'assume a new alias' game with it's characters, some people seem to have as many multiple personalities as Hank Pym [just look at Monica Rambeau: Capt. Marvel, Photon, Pulsar, Spectrum, now post Civil War II she may be the new War Machine...]. Different powers, different origin, different affiliations, etc. It's like comparing Marvel Girl [Jean Grey] to the New Warriors' Marvel Boy [Justice/Vance Astrovik]. They even have telekinesis in common, but other than having a similar codename they're COMPLETELY unrelated. And nobody would bat an eyelash if either one of them claimed "I picked the name cause I'm a fan of Ms. Marvel..."

Fair enough, I suppose if they were in some sort of city environment and they needed him to use his power one of the stronger characters could like rip up the ground or something haha. I'll edit his abilities, other than that is the app fine?

Though I think under Equipment his necklace was supposed to grant him the ability to swim through soil, not water LOL. He shouldn't need a trinket for that if he's from under the sea!

@Mr_pink Swimming through soil and Earth [and probably natural rock as well] were fine, IDK about swimming through metals and such too. New Athens is almost split down the middle with Appalachian Mountain terrain and valleys as well as the beachfront on the coast. He's got plenty of ground to swim through.

It's cool man, I've been working on splitting my time up with Gotham IC posts, the UNIVERSAL iCheck and accepting more people for that game, as well as working on building up STRIKE and my new character for the aforementioned game in the IC. Been a rough couple of days with only about 4 hours sleep total LOL

Hulkling has never been tied to the Hulk, does he count as a legacy character? In the comics wasn't he another off-shoot clone/child using Mar-vell DNA as well as a Skrull's in his veins?

We'll have a good amount of new players arriving soon! I've accepted an evil genius that's like a female Dr. Doom Or Lex Luthor, and I'm in talks with several others about a possible alien plant woman, a werewolf that's more than he seems, a divine superhuman, and a new Atlantian.

All-Star Marvel: Audax Mundus Novus - Season 2

Walter Newell had studied all of the clues he had, but still couldn't pinpoint the location of Atlantis. He spent the next several days upgrading security in Hydrobase, which he's calling 'Hydropolis' now. Much to the disappointment of his girlfriend Diane, Walt moved his personal stuff into a corner of Hydropolis he's renovating into his living space. Diane's brother, an oceanographer himself, closed himself off to the world recently and she doesn't want to lose Walt to his work in a similar way. Off and on Walt worked with his boot jets and fins to better maneuver in air and under water. He also managed to squeeze in some target practice with his bio-electric blast.

Elsewhere...

"Are you sure about this, Dr. Dorcas?" a man asked on the other end of the phone.

"This Hydropolis of Walt Newell's has got to be shut down before he starts a war with something nobody's ready to deal with. And YOU'RE the man to get the job done." the sniveling doctor proclaimed.

"I just got back from eating an Atlantian who was swimming a little too far from home, can't it wait until tomorrow?" Tiger Shark asked on his end of the phone call.



"When will you learn that even with shark and stolen Atlantian dna I'M the brains and you're the muscle. Now he's gone and hired a bodyguard in a 'Stingray' suit!" the old man exclaimed, "If Hydropolis continues to grow and change and the Atlantians see it as a threat they'll start a war with the surface. Just go over there, toss his bodyguard around, and pretend you're under mind control or something. I don't know. Go ahead and hospitalize Newell too.

"20th Century Fox was about to sign me for a three picture movie deal, I was gonna be the next big superhero moviestar. Why're you trying to keep Atlantis a secret?" Tiger Shark asked.

"That's none of your concern Mr. Arliss. Speaking of secrets, when did you plan on telling me your sister was in a relationship with Newell?" the doctor asked as Tiger Shark got speechless on the other end, "Arliss? TODD!? Can you hear me?!?" Dr. Dorcas yelled into the phone.

On the other end, Tiger Shark had dropped his phone into the giant aquarium pool. He grabbed the remaining severed leg of the blue skinned Atlantian and took another bite before letting out a burp. Tiger Shark had already tore apart the night staff at the Coney Island Aquarium but now made his exit en route to Hydropolis.
