Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Daithi Akasuki

Daithi sighed. Seeing as James had assured that one of the cultists would hit the course of his lightning, he ruled off that one. However, the other one had dodged and then promptly attacked James, but was subdued thanks to Delilah's destructive power. He cringed at the sound of the revolver going off. While he worked with guns, courtesy of his own making with magic, they were never as loud as the real ones. In fact, they made little sound as it was still magic.

The bullet had made contact with the hostage-taker, blood spraying out. Daithi didn't bat an eye though. The screaming citizens that fled the area was what worried him. What kind of tale should they spin to excuse all of this? He should have learned how to do a memory wipe magic as to cover these kinds of bases. However, it would seem that Delilah wasn't too worried about them. Right, they should focus on the matter at hand. The worry that they might be exposed or the cafe would be closed down, or both, still weighed heavily on his mind. Could they excuse this with a simply, 'this was just a shooting for an upcoming movie'? Hopefully the humans would be convinced but somehow, he doubted that.

Kael had taken down the chanter through the use of his own demonic power, one that Daithi was still trying to grasp. However, before he was taken down, he had summoned some hellish dog that then bared its teeth at Suzue. Another cultist, the one that he had hit earlier with lightning, had fired a fireball at their King. A flash of worry appeared in his eyes as his wings spread out upon instinct, raring to speed towards the fireball to intercept it. However, Sato couldn't make it - the priest did though, protecting Delilah. Why the priest had done that was another matter. Sato called out to Asia to help the priest and then attacked the hellish dog.

Suzue had risen to her full height through the use of her spider legs and promptly began to attack the caster. Daithi rubbed the back of his head as he seemed to find no more further use for him as his colleagues seem to have it covered. His wings retracted but he turned to Sato who was asking for someone else to finish the dog. "I got it." He remarked to let the others know. A dark light spear appeared atop his hand and it began to be enveloped with blue lightning. He then launched it towards the dog, hoping to slice its head clean off. It would go through the hellish dog, and it probably would be a rather effective attack seeing as it looked to have been made from dark and devilish energy, but the spear itself wouldn't hit Sato.

"Are you alright, Delilah?" He asked, turning his head ever so slightly to his silver haired master. He still kept an eye on the battle ensuing within the cafe but wanted to know her condition.

I live in the Philippines. I refer to the shows. I have not seen a single edition of TWD here. GoT, on the other hand, is somewhere out there. That's the second problem, money. Though I think I'll pick it up once summer vacation starts.
@Poi

Unfortunately enough, it's hard to follow American series here in my country. But I've always been interested in the TWD universe (as well as GoT but that's another matter). May not have followed the series but an RP like this would be top good to pass up.
@Poi

Heya Poi, good to see you again too. Looks like we're both raring to go for post-apocalyptic RPs.
I'll keep my eyes on this. Can't wait to see it put up. I think one of my characters can fit into this.
Yuki saw that her actions were appreciated. That was good. However, things turned sour when Lucia decided that this wasn't good enough for her - as if wanting the entire school to revolve around her wants only. However, the one that completely hit her nerves was the fact that the girl was disrespecting the headmistress's decision. She could hear the others audibly gasp at this. There was always that one delinquent that didn't want to meet the status quo here, that wanted to break free of the hierarchy placed - but attacking the headmistress, even verbally, directly? That was pushing it.

She had wanted to give Lucia another chance. Her outbursts earlier were fine with Yuki. She seemed like a person with anger management issues. She could respect that and try not to pull anything that might anger her. However, by disrespecting the headmistress herself, it caused a lot of problems. Her tone became ice cold when she responded to her, "Yeah, I will. I have full confidence that we'll see the reason why he's here once we get to know him better. He wouldn't be here if he wasn't safe." Her eyes narrowed, obviously restraining herself from charging at her. "There's a very fine line between being opinionated and being downright disrespectful. Please, do know your place."

Yuki believed that everyone has a say in this. They could approach the teachers or even the headmistress to voice out their complaints. However, Lucia's actions went above and beyond that. Yuki didn't want to restrict her freedom of speech, but that kind of attitude was unbecoming of a student of Heartshine. She mentioned something about just being stuck here? Well now, if she could control her powers correctly, then maybe she could get out of here. Obviously that wouldn't happen. She bit back the remark as Melissa came and took to the heated area - a slew of curse words directed at Lucia was uttered.

Another one, Elizabeth, stepped up to quell the situation but with the tensions so high between all of them, it was obvious that it wouldn't work. It only ended with Lucia blowing up at her too.

Then the male finally spoke up. Despite the feeling in her gut that told her that she should look out for the guy, his tone of speech and general calmness seemed to quell the doubts in her mind. He sounded formal, a little bit too formal but nothing a good friendship wouldn't fix. He tried to calmly dissuade Lucia out of it, but she responded with reinforcing her threat - whatever that was.

His next lines seemed to make her tense up. It had been lower, and almost like a growl. He issued the challenge - a fight after orientation. Of course, these fights would be approved by a teacher and it wouldn't be a fight to the death. Black lightning flashed around her, followed by flame - that made Yuki understand what his powers revolved around. Destruction perhaps? Both elements were often stuck with destruction after all. She knew all about that, considering her own understanding about her own powers. Lucia accepted almost immediately.

Elizabeth commented about how they should stop it. "They won't do anything right now. If the fight is mediated by a teacher, then it would be fine." Yuki pointed out, her speech now returning to its original tone of voice. She then followed behind headmistress along with the new male student. She bit her lip and then said offhandedly, "Besides if the guy didn't issue the challenge, I would have done it."

She then looked at her old professor who now served as the headmistress. "Would you agree to it though? I'll happily stand witness too, if that puts you at ease." Being one of the fourth years, standing witness to a fight - which meant that you would assist the teacher in charge with breaking up the fight when it gets out of hand - happens often. Since they were technically the seniors of all of them, they were called upon to be the mature referees, aside from the teachers and staff.

@Parallel Hearts

I'll poke him for you and make sure he at least comments. No worries.
Well boss, I'm just right here. Call me when you need me.
@Jaded

I mean, Testosterone seems like her nickname now. At least, that's what it looks like to me.
@Jaded

Ha, I've noticed.

@medalliah

Considering Lucia still isn't in trouble for her own excessive swearing, I don't think anyone's bothered at this point.
