He wanted to punch him. Never before has Basil wanted to punch anything or anyone before in his life, but he really wanted to punch this guy's plastic face. This was such a level of anger that he was honestly not sure how to process it. Whoever the group this guy worked for was, the only thing for certain was that they hurt Stella and so many others. They were his enemy not just because of what they did, but they diametrically stood against him for everything he stood for. Scum of the earth that deserved to be razed to the ground.

"Not a hero huh?" He said repeated with a deadly look in his eyes, the same kind of gaze he had when he stood in front of Hydreigon. "How about this for an alternative? I am going to be the worst thing that has ever happened to you. Believe me there are no depths in my soul that I won't go to to take all of your bad karma and hang you all with it and before you say I'm bluffing, look me in the eyes and tell me honestly that I am."

Was Basil's heart racing a mile a minute? Yes. Did he also feel like throwing up in the bushes? Also yes. Was this a bluff? Absolutely not.

Basil took a deep breath. He needed to calm down. At the very least he actually had the advantage in the situation and that's why this guy was trying to scare him into giving Stella to him. His eyes trailed to the people going on about their business before they focused back on whoever the hell this expressionless guy was.
"So here's what's gonna happen. You're going to leave the village right now because if you don't I will make a scene here. People will notice and it will be ever harder for you to get away from prying eyes while I make a call to the Elite Four because you are just unlucky enough that the guy you threatened has a connection to two of them. Walk away or in your own words, you would not like the alternative."
Alright we are finally back.
@Xaltwind

So thus began the scavenging for, well, whatever she expected to find in this forest where the sky doesn't exist and in its place was green and just darker shades of green. The two with the sensitive nose and eyes scoured the forest though the one with the very good nose, the Growlithe, kept its snout towards the ground chasing down whatever scent it could get and a scent it did find. It ran off somewhere excitedly and somewhere by the base of one of those arbor skyscrapers and started to dig into the earth with its little paws, spraying dirt into the air and leaving it in a scattered pile behind it.

Meanwhile the Sentret had no need to fuss over things such as digging holes. Instead it looked around with its keen eyes, which were extra keener than some other Sentret due to its Keen Eye ability. There were too many keens in that sentence. The point was that Keen Eye actually allowed Sentret a better chance of finding items so that Keen Eye is actually useful. Anyway! It went off to look for things on the surface rather than in the ground below.

Of course, miss congeniality dared not to dirty her own hands and put on gloves —her very, very glamorous gloves that were totally made for outdoor use— and just kept watch with her Joltik for any potential Pokemon that would take exception to them rooting around for goods. However, most of the residents in this part of the forest were relatively passive if they were left well enough alone. Well, except for the Aipoms. No one could really ever relax around them lest they become the victim of their little pranks.

Eventually two of Evelyn's Pokemon returned with gifts in hand and, er, mouth. While her Sentret looked very neat and pristine, her Growlithe had a very generous coat of dirt over its orange and black fur. Sentret handed her a collection of eclectic items while Growlithe placed a rock with a leaf shape pattern on it.

Evelyn received 3x Small Mushrooms, 1x Large Mushroom, 3x Oran Berries, and 1x Leaf Stone

Just as her Growlithe placed the stone in her hand, its nose twitched again and it ran towards one of the trees with one of those clean gashes in and pointed its nose in another direction before it began to bark. Seems like it got the scent of whatever made the cut.

Now what?

@Goggy

So began the adventure of Vivian and she decided that it was time to go explore Route 4! Uh, wait a minute. Where was she going? Vivian, Route 4 is that way. You're going the wrong way! Where are you going? Vivian? Vivian!

...

Well, Vivian was once again greeted by the bustling streets of Grand Glory and would walk through the sidewalks trickling with a never-ending flow of people going about their business. Buildings were being constructed among already towering skyscrapers, which meant construction was everywhere. Roads were either closed or congested while parts of sidewalks had scaffolding to protect people from any potential objects falling from above. Electronic street signs showed advertisements for products, some for things as mundane as Pokeballs and some more glamorous with models made to make some product's overly inflated price tag justifiable.

Besides the human residents of the city, there were wild Pokemon as well! Well, at least the ones that could immediately be seen. Everywhere Vivian went he would see little birds looking about, sitting on street lampposts and electrical cables that were strewn above.

In this case, it seemed like there were two types of Flying-Types that were in competition to get the most food.

Pokedex Entry #016- Pidgey, the Tiny Bird Pokémon. They are docile Pokémon that avoid fighting, kicking up sand in an enemy’s face or using Whirlwind to avoid battles. They have sharp senses of direction, capable of finding their nest or destination from very large distances. They inhabit tall grass where they search and prey on small bugs.

Pokedex Entry #519-Pidove, the Tiny Pidgeon Pokemon. Where people go, these Pokémon follow. If you're scattering food for them, be careful— several hundred of them can gather at once. It's forgetful and not very bright, but many Trainers love it anyway for its friendliness and sincerity.

Besides the birds, there were also some felines just lazing about that took advantage of the food offerings that humans gave them and otherwise would just be looting.

Pokédex Entry #052 – Meowth, the Scratch Cat Pokémon. During the night Meowth are known to sneak around stealthily in search of prey and shiny objects which it adores with a passion. During the day, Meowth is known to laze around all day. In the dark, its eyes glow.

Then there were scurrying rat Pokemon that seemed to be the prey of the Meowth when they felt like hunting.

Pokédex Entry #019 – Rattata, the Mouse Pokémon. This Pokémon is common but hazardous. Its sharp incisors can easily cut right through hard wood. Its incisors grow continuously throughout its life. If its incisors get too long, this Pokémon becomes unable to eat, and it starves to death.

Instead of ending up in Route 4, for whatever reason she ended up in a construction site though there were no people around. In fact, the only thing she had for company was the background noise of the city. So for whatever reason she just kept exploring the place until she stumbled upon an incomplete underground parking around. It was lit up with construction lamps that littered all over the place and she heard funny sounds in the distance. It almost sounded like cheering.

As she wandered in she was greeted by the sight of many the same types of Pokemon she encountered on the surface of the city cheering as they watched two Pokemon just beating the ever loving hell out of each other. One of them was a bipedal light grayish blue creature with red eyes and beige fins on its head getting smacked around by a stern looking brown bird carrying a massive leak that was way bigger than its body.

#066-Machop, the Superpower Pokemon. Always brimming with power, it passes time by lifting boulders. Doing so makes it even stronger.

#083-Farfetch'd, the Wild Duck Pokemon. The Farfetch'd of the Galar region are brave warriors, and they wield thick, tough leeks in battle.

There were other Pokemon in the audience as well. One of them was a purple cat with cream patches of fur and these strange violet markings above its eyes. They looked adorable, and yet there were mischievous looks in their eyes as if they waited for you to let your guard down.

#509-Purloin, the Devious Pokemon. It steals things from people just to amuse itself with their frustration. Opponents that get drawn in by its adorable behavior come away with stinging scratches from its claws and stinging pride from its laughter.

Then there were these other cats that just... they just stared into the void. These things with gray fur with white tuffs of fur on its ears and paws, their pale purple eyes with their darker purple pupils just looked off into something that we could not comprehend.

#677-Espurr, the Restraint Pokemon. It keeps its ears covered to prevent the intense psychic power in its body from escaping, but it falls unconscious if this power builds too much. Behind an Espurr's expressionless face is a frantic struggle to contain psychic power.

They all watched as the Farfetch'd knocked the Machop clean on its back unconscious with a vicious swing of its leek, and turned to the crowd with its wings held up as if to say 'are you not entertained.' The crowd erupted in cheers. Before she could even attempt to slip away, the bird's sharp eyes focused in on her and it pointed its leek at her.

What does she do?

@Joshua Tamashii@Crimson Flame

The Mimikyu that Amelia was pleading with stopped mid-head rip of another stuffed Pikachu and looked at her through the little eye holes of its costume and then looked back at the doll before dropping it on the ground.

"Mimu..." It then turned to look at its friend that was absorbed into the Pokeball. It fell to the ground where it began to shake.

It shook once

@baraquiel@GremlinAgain

Ah yes, free will. A wonderful thing to have. With that free they would truly begin their journey. Making their way out of Grand Glory, they would see the city life of people and Pokemon going about their day, loud and ever bustling. People and Pokemon working as a collective, in harmony, or very much at least as best as all fallible things could. The closer she was to the city limits the activity lessened. The buildings also started to become smaller, more suburban until even these mundane homes disappeared too. The air became cleaner over time, free from the fumes and exhaust of vehicles. It was not long until she reached the official end of the city limits and stepped on a dirt path.

@Zarkun

Yes Jason, you most likely have watched too many league battles. Your mother said so.

While Slayer made a valiant effort to keep up with the Riolu, it just wasn't really possible. Ralts had little, dainty legs that were not exactly made for speed while Riolu were speedy little buggers. Jason would know after trying to chase after it. Now there also was the thing about terrain and moves that bypassed accuracy checks; they still interacted with each other in various ways. In this case, the Riolu kept ducking behind trees to avoid the Disarming Voices, the heart shaped sound waves left deep marks in trees.

However, some of the Growls did cause the blue fox to recoil at various points which lowered its attack somewhat so at least they got that going for themselves. The problem though was that they had no idea where the little bastard went. Like how Jason chased it before, it was running circles around them as if it could tell exactly where they were and where they were going to be. In this small forest, this little Riolu had the advantage of terrain. Smart, annoying, but smart.

For a moment there was a stillness. A silence hung in the air before a loud CRACK rang through the air and one of Slayer's doppelgangers dissipated in what Jason could only describe to be a blast of wind. The tree behind the doppelganger had a fist sized indentation deep in its trunk. If they were to look in the direction of the source of the blast, they would obviously see the Riolu gritting its teeth before it punched the air, sending a concentrated force at Slayer in hopes of hitting Slayer.

Now, what's the plan? Do they simply attack it or do they have a more creative play to make?

@CitrusArms

As the Magnemite tried to make its grand escape it it was a bit hard when Kaebe the blue bitey dinosaur was lunging at it while Reagan blocked the door to make sure the little electric sucker didn't escape. Well, it worked. The Tyrunt's body smacked against the Magnemite for not very effective damage though it was a critical hit. However, they were in a supply closet and they were not exactly known for being the most spacious of places, so when the little metal ball was flung back it slammed against one of the shelves filled with cleaning supplies and other equipment.

The shelf leaned forward, things shifted and fell to the ground with a clatter as the shadow loomed over her, Kaebe, and the Magnemite.

"Magne?"

CRASH! BANG! CLANG!

All three of them were buried underneath the shelf and a collection of cleaning supplies. Reagan would climb through the clutter of course and then Kaebe popped out with the Magnemite in its mouth, its single eye a single dazed swirl. However, just before Regan to boop it with a Pokeball, its eye gained focus and furrowed in anger as electricity crackled around its body as it shocked Reagan with a bolt of electricity. Kaebe didn't get off too easy either, you know, with the fact that its mouth was being electrocuted. I don't care if dragon types are resistant to electric attacks, that still has to hurt.

Reagan was left smelling slightly like burnt barbecue and her hair was standing up with an electric afro. Meanwhile, Kaebe's grip loosened and the Magnemite made a run (hover?) for the door.

What does she do?

@Typical

"Oh Claris, before you go there's one thing I have for you. It's from Lucen." Kapoc called out to her. He rummaged through those deep pockets from his lab coat and fished out an envelope. "He told me to give it to you when you decided to swing by the lab. He also told me to tell you this; don't open it yet. 'You'll know when the time is right,' whatever that means. Why can't you two just talk to each other like normal people?"

Claris received Lucen's Letter!

Well, with that she left the lab to begin her journey with her tiny stabby partner by her side. The air in the city was electric. Life flourished in what was a relatively young city, the heart of activity where those who were once refugees now lived their life far away from the horrors that inflicted Evig those years ago. People and Pokemon lived together in harmony, out in the open without fear or ever having to look over their shoulder. It was a city. It had traffic, advertisements lit up with digital signs, and businesses ranging from fast food chains to monolithic buildings that realistically should have not been able to be built up so quickly, but the power of Pokemon sped up the process. It was just a normal city filled with normal people living their normal lives, exactly what Lucen had hoped for.

Besides the human residents of the city, there were wild Pokemon as well! Well, at least the ones that could immediately be seen. Everywhere Claris went he would see little birds looking about, sitting on street lampposts and electrical cables that were strewn above.

In this case, it seemed like there were two types of Flying-Types that were in competition to get the most food.

However, if she were to look at her Pokedex she would see entries of Pokemon were logged by her coworkers that got to the lab earlier than she did. There were Pokemon in the area that she had not seen yet, but the data was accessible to her.

To get to the school though she would have to walk past fences made of pale bricks of stone and wrought iron where she would be greeted by an expanse of nature curated by people.

@Lunarlord34

"Oh? Now you're making this fun!" He said as if he was not starting to feel a little bit of pressure now. He would really look like a moron if he lost to her, a newbie, after talking that mad shit earlier. Like it's nothing that he couldn't handle, but he was suddenly acutely aware of his situation. It was not like it was easy to battle someone weaker than him, in fact, it presented a very unique challenge given this set of rules.

"Metagross use Psychic on the Embers and redirect them towards the Water Guns and get out of the way of that Aqua Jet!" The big X on the Metagross began to glow a bluish hue and the bits of fire that Dusk emitted took on that hue and were shot towards the the streams of water that were raining down from above. They collided, being equal in power and with each collision a hissing of steam could be heard as clouds of steam began to form above. As Glory came rocketing down towards the Metagross, the faster Pokemon that was unimpeded by the Wimpodd's allies was able to just jump out of the way.

"Hm, I should change your moveset later. You really should know Protect." He mused to himself though this really was starting to get a bit too close for comfort. He could only have pulled Psychic maneuver only because Dusk and Steve were just so much weaker by comparison. Steph could see that he was beginning to tense a little.

"Got anymore tricks up your sleeve?"

@Crusader Lord

We now interrupt your RP with the following commercial break.

A guitar rift that sounds like it belongs in a Ford commercial plays in the background and a man with a thick brown beard and waxed mustache dressed in a colonels uniform sat on a rock in a desert with his hands together looking down before he lifts his head to face the camera. The camera cuts to a zoom on his face and the man begins to speak in the most gravelly, deep, southern accent one could imagine.

"You weren't born to be confined. You were born wild an' free, just like the rugged taste of Colonel Jader's Juicy Jerky." The camera cuts to a bag jerky that he lifted up that he was certainly not holding before. He stood up and began to walk, the camera followed him along as he did so. "Made with the highest quality of beef and smoked with our secret blend, you will feel as bold as the taste of our jerky."

The man walked up to a red pickup truck and the commercial cut to the man sitting in the car and slamming the door. He looks out the window while holding the bag of jerky out the window. "Because you were made to go out there. Feed the wild side." The man bit off a hunk of jerky before he drove off as the camera panned out while a Braviary flew past the camera followed by the very rugged looking logo fading into the screen.

We now return to your featured RP.

The Steelix slowly approached her, its lumbering body rumbled against the earth. It lowered its massive head inches away from her hand, its sharp red eyes focused on the bag of jerky held out to it. It sniffed it cautiously and eyed Clarissa suspicious of the bag of, well, dried out salty and smokey meat.

"Lix!" It grunted before it opened its mouth wide open. Now Clarissa could say that she knows what the inside of a Steelix mouth looks like; a massive mouth with gap teeth that looked like they could and have ground rock into powder. Then the mouth clamped down around...the bag of jerky?

Clarissa would just watch this Steelix much away at her offering, hesitant on whether to say it liked the jerky or not until it seemed to decide that it did indeed like it with a nod of approval. Maybe the texture of the jerky reminded it of the rocks that it typically ate, albeit with more sodium and added MSG. It looked at her and decided to commit this snack giver to memory.

This particular Steelix will remember you!

LIIIIIIIIIX! It roared with approval before it burrowed into another hole in the wall, leaving as quickly as it came.

However, quickly enough a familiar little rodent rushed to her side. She would recognize the little Alolan Rattata, Rau, having followed her scent.

@Shazamrock

Meanwhile, Dudley rushed after Nils and, well, he was not particularly a fit person. He huffed and puffed as he ran after him. "Kid, huff, slow down! What are you talking about?!"

Eventually the duo would find themselves in front of that hole that Clarissa crawled through earlier. Dudley looked at him as if to ask the boy if he was for real. "Kid, my butt is gonna get stuck in the entrance alone. You're gonna have to do this on your own, but take this. It's not much, but it should be helpful in a scrape." The detective handed him a small little purple ball.

Nils received a Smokeball!

With resolve and maybe a healthy amount of apprehension, our intrepid adventurer knelt down and crawled her way into the makeshift hole. It was pitch black in there. He wouldn't be able to even see his own hand even if it was an inch away from his face, but judging by the direction after a few minutes he realized that he was going slightly downwards.

It was hard to say how he was in there, but it was plain to see that this was not leading to the other side of the wall. What he felt between his hands was no longer concrete, but rock and dirt. Nils would keep crawling through this long and narrow space for what must've felt like ten minutes until he saw... a light? There was a light literally at the end of the tunnel. With a final push she crawled out of the hole into an open space. An impossible space.

Where the hell was he?

The post is now in progress!
For anyone that doesn’t frequent the discord, I’m back in America. Just have more connecting flights and a drive home. Sorry for not posting. I thought I’d have more time and energy.
Hey guys just a few more days I'll be able to get back to this once this stupid trip is over. Sorry for the lack of activity. It was more busy and more exhausting than I thought it was going to be.
Anyway, I am sort of working on this. God's above I'd rather be at home working on my posts than dealing with relatives that I actively dislike.
I need a vacation from this trip.

Well, there he was, standing in the middle of the god damn arena with every someone that was someone in this kingdom looking down at him both literally and metaphorically. The eyes of his peers that thought he was just a worthless half-breed and in the eyes of the others that didn't know who he was he was a Kaides so there were definitely expectations both high and low. It couldn't be great entertainment though considering it was a glorified pillow fight.

Rodin held his 'glaive,' a stick with a sack filled with hay tightly wound with rope on the end. "Stupid kiddy shit," muttered Rodin. He twirled it around with a deftness that betrayed the expectations of the peers that closely worked with him. While his body certainly was not as capable as it was when he was older, his experience was still ingrained into his very being. At the very least his efforts had not gone down the drain.

"Oh? So you can twirl your stick better now?" A voice called out from behind. Rodin turned to see his opponent with that smirk that was burned into his memory. Michel Beckman of the Noble Class, the blonde pale bastard with always closed eyes. A total kiss ass to the student council and someone that frequently enjoyed kicking him when he was already down. He never really was an actual friend to any of them, but he was a helpful scoundrel so they always kept him around for that reason alone. If there was anyone that he was willing to demote it was going to be this guy.

"Better than you ever could use yours." Rodin casually said as he 'stabbed' the pole arm into the ground and leaned forward on it.

Michel's smarmy smirk widened with amusement. "Oh? When did you get a smart mouth? Trying to put on an act?"

Rodin shrugged in response and nonchalantly said, "No act here. Just unbridled confidence." His ruby red and icy blue eye sized him up from head to toe. He clicked his tongue dismissively at him and shook his head. "Oh god this is not a fair match up."

Michel arched his brow and wore a puzzled expression. "Huh? What are you on about? You're the one that requested me."

A sigh escaped from his lips as he straightened his posture. "You've got it backwards; it's unfair to you. Now bring your A-Game, little snake. I want the results to be so clear that no one can contest." He twirled his weapon once more before pointing the hay sack tip at his opponent in a bored manner.

His opponents smirk darkened into a scowl, gritting his teeth in frustrated annoyance at the half-elf's newfound disrespect. "You damn half breed. I'll remind you where your place is." He gripped the handle of his wooden sword wrapped in various layers of stuffed cloth.

The nondescript referee of the fight looked at both fighters and began the match with, "Begin!"

Michel was the first to move, his grip on his sword ready to thrust at Rodin except he stopped midway through the action and dashed back. His hands trembled while a bead of cold sweat ran down his confused face as he looked at Rodin's unflinching cold gaze. It was as if he went by instinct to not complete the attack for fear of death. Perplexed murmurs filled the crowd though any experienced fighter knew exactly why Michel stepped back: Rodin's overwhelming killing intent.

Michel was not fighting Rodin Larion Kaides; he was fighting Rodin the Mercenary. When faced with the killing intent of others on a daily basis and killing in turn, any warrior would develop their killing intent lest they would be overwhelmed by their opponent's own. Any warrior hardened by the battlefield would develop such a keen edge though it was not bloodlust. While easy to confuse, bloodlust is uncontrollable while what Rodin emitted was entirely focused on Michel and so much of it at such a young age.

A smirk crawled across Rodin's mouth. "Weren't you going to remind this half breed of his place?"

"You bastard!" Michel rushed towards Rodin and performed a horizontal slash with the practice weapon.

In response, Rodin stepped back to maintain his range advantage and swung the polearm towards his opponent's neck. However, Michel was able to quickly return his weapon back to position and then blocked the attack. The attack didn't make a satisfying impact. That was the difference between their physical abilities, but Rodin knew that going into the fight.

"Acting that tough and yet you're still so weak? You really are full of shit!" Michel shouted with a grin as he swung upon Rodin again though it turned into a dance of them Rodin dodging and Michel pridefully and cockily blocking all of Rodin's weak strikes.

"Keep dancing for me!" Michel shouted gleefully.

To the audience it appeared that the half elf was on the back foot. After all, his attacks were far weaker and while some would have expected Rodin to panic, he looked unusually calm. His gaze was only on his opponent, watching Michel's footwork, his posture, the way he breathed, and even the way he held his weapon.

Physically he's got me beat, but that's it. Yes, Michel had the physical ability, but in terms of actual prowess with the sword he was lackluster to say the least. It made every attack ever easier for Rodin to predict and conserve energy. Rodin did not trust his body yet to be able to block or redirect attacks so he put all of his faith in dodging.

Rodin's eyes were focused on his opponent and once again swung his weapon at him though he was waiting for something. Michel cockily raised his weapon to block the weapon again, lazily expecting another weak blow. Now!

Weapons collided, except something was very different; the sound of Rodin's swing had a much deeper, satisfying sound. Michel's eyes widened in surprise and in pain as the impact reverberated throughout his body. "The hell did you do?!" He spat out right before he saw Rodin take another swing at him and quickly raised his guard once again expecting a heavy blow, but once again it was another of Rodin's weaker strikes. "What?" He, like others in the audience, looked very confused.

Rodin gave Michel no time to process what had happened before he spun around and swung at his neck. Michel once again raised his practice blade to block the strike only for another resounding deep POW to shake him to his core. "You messing with me?!"

Any magic user or any experienced warrior could tell what Rodin was doing; he was using Urigellr to enhance his physical attacks. Given that Rodin just by holding the weapon made it lighter, he was able to focus all of the telekinetic force at the end of his weapon to increase the speed and force of his attack though he used it on only some of his attacks. What made Rodin's strategy devious was how unpredictable it was. Rodin had conditioned Michel for his typical weaker attacks, but now that the Kaides was slipping in stronger attacks that went against his conditioning Michel was unable to determine how much strength was needed to block his attacks.

Still to the observer it appeared like the two of them were even. Neither of the boys had yet to land an actual blow on each other, but something was growing more apparent with each passing second; only one of them was getting tired. Michel was panting and dripping with sweat while Rodin still looked as fresh as the moment he stepped on the battlefield. The wasted movements of Michel's mediocre swordsmanship and wasting energy to block weak attacks while barely blocking the more powerful ones ate away at his stamina.

Rodin lowered his weapon slightly. "Do you yield?"

Michel looked at him, his typically closed eyes wide open. "What?" He said in disbelief.

"Do you yield?" Rodin repeated.

His opponents eyes were filled with a sense of vitriolic rage that he never felt before in his life. To concede in front of anyone that actually mattered in the kingdom to him of all people was not only an insult to his pride, but a complete embarrassment that would ruin him. To be pushed by the half breed was unacceptable. He stood there, quivering with rage as veins pulsed around his head. "I'm gonna kill you!"

Rodin chuckled, "Believe me, it'll take a lot more than you to bring me down." He charged towards Michel and swung down at his exhausted opponent. Michel just barely blocked the overhead strike with another resounding boom. Michel gasped in pain as his muscles screamed and bones.

"You piece of-!" Michel gasped from the familiar overwhelming sensation that Rodin gave from the beginning of the match. The killing intent sent a cold shiver down his spine.

"Do you yield?" Rodin repeated once more.

"F-fuck y-" Before he could finish his sentence, his jaw was forcibly shut as Rodin kneed him in the face with a flying knee. He dropped his weapon and fell onto his hands and knees, blood dripping from his mouth. However, Rodin threw his weapon to the side and grabbed Michel by the hair and pulled him up to his face.

Rodin once again repeated. "Do you yield?"

"N-n-no!" A loud slap hit Michel right across the face, leaving a red tender hand print.

Rodin's eyes were cold. "Do. You. Yield?"

"N-n-n" This time it was the backhand. Rodin then didn't even bother to ask the question again and started to just slap him back and forth with the palm and the back of his hand even until his own hand was raw from hitting him. Eventually it looked like Rodin was just slapping a bruised tomato leaking tomato with weird swollen growths.

Michel just started sobbing, tears streaming down his red and purple swollen face. "Ith yielth, Ith yielth!" He fell to the ground when Rodin released his grip on his hair. Michel curled in a fetal position. He was probably traumatized.

Rodin looked down at him with contempt. "I was seriously pushed around by him? I could've beaten him when I was a kid in the first place."

This was a very different Rodin than what his peers or even his family knew. What in the world happened?
