Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

"Ah...? Quite the gluttonous one you seem...be careful to not take more from the forest than necessary...or ask more from those generous enough to lend you aid." The chimaera replied with a smirk. This hound was intriguing...though a little annoying, to be honest. Such was most people not accustomed to life in the forests, she supposed. "But this one does not dance to the whims of others, Shellagh. If not now - then tomorrow morning when both of are well rested." Her ears twitched, swiveling in the direction of the nearby forest.

"This one has things to make certain of and take care of after the meal." Honestly...she might just go with these people, even if this Eith of the Shellagh lost their little duel. They were intriguing, really. Perhaps it was because she had been away from others for so long, but they had been amusing to converse with, just slightly. Besides, she was curious to see how well civilization had advanced in her long absence from it.

Marie had made her way back to the camp now, taking a seat on one of the wagons and remaining silent as usual. Her eyes lingered on the Chimaera for a bit, but ultimately said nothing. No one worth talking too.

"Hmm..." Miren tasted the stew, a ladle in her hand as she contemplated adding something else to it. Miren, was nothing if not fast in a kitchen. Most of the food was cooking away over the fires and for the most part just needed to be watched to make sure nothing burned. Stir the stew, put in some spices and maybe add a bit more vegetables to it. With the help of the dolls, by the time the others arrived from wrapping up whatever it was they were doing the food would likely be done and ready.

Luna, Sorcha, Sol.

"You want me, a grand-high dragon to pet a lizard like that?" Sorcha replied with a scoff. "You have to be joking, Luna. That thing likely has the memory of a fish. It probably can't even remember what it was doing twenty minutes ago." The Wyrm didn't seem to pay attention to Sorcha's comments, instead focusing on the pets it was receiving from Sol and Luna. It rubbed its muzzle against Sol's hand as it gave a pleased growl...before opening its mouth and licking the entirety of Sol's face and nuzzling her face again.

"I'll try speaking with it," Sorcha said with a huff. "But I don't think it'll have something relevant information for us." Sorcha walked over, giving the Wyrm a cool glare as she spoke to it. "Know that I'm only doing this because Luna asked me too, lizard." She said coolly. The creature turned its head to Sorcha silently as she approached, withdrawing a bit from the other dragons presence.

"So what do you have to say for yourself, hm? Just a hungry animal or did you have a reason for attacking my knight?" The Wyrm hissed lowly, looking around the area for a few seconds before growling, shaking its head. "...hmm?" Sorcha's wings flapped curiously as it replied. That...that couldn't be right, could it? Well, that was certainly something if this thing was to be believed. She didn't trust the validity of it entirely - Wyrms may be simple minded creatures by they could be cunning if they wanted to be. "You...you are certain?" She frowned, holding a hand to her chin as the Wyrm lowered its head with a nod.

"Ugh, I feel dirty for asking this, but Luna - " Sorcha turned to the knight. "There's something I need to make sure of. I do not want to force taking a creature such as this on you, or strain yourself too much with a second familiar, but I think it is possible for you to do so. Or, alternatively Sol could likely do it. Either way, I can not understand it entirely as we are too different but I think it is urgent we hear what it has to say." She looked back to the Wyrm.

"So I would suggest at least, taking it as a familiar, even if only temporarily."

"Can I just say how creepy this thing is?" Suddenly, her vision came back 'online' as she exited her sleep mode - and she was face to face with one of the guards. "It's eyes are open but its sleeping or something."

"Staring at someone who's sleeping is generally considered creepy, too."

"Gah! Jesus-!" The guard immediately jumped backwards as laughter erupted from outside her cell. Always watching, but she couldn't see them through the one-way mirror that made up the wall. Deseri simply took a step forwards, taking a cursory examination to see if anything in this small white-cell of hers had changed since she had put herself into hibernation some odd days ago. Nothing at all. The swarm even remained as it had been - swimming listlessly through the confines of the far corner of the room.

"Think that's funny, do ya, you creepy piece of shit..." The guard practically growled, causing Deseri to frown slightly in obvious displeasure.

Error - Anti-aggression field prevents organic life form conversion into fuel.

"Tsk...so did you bring us food or are you simply here for some friendly chatter? Not that you know the meaning of that word."

"Can it, freak." He spat, dropping a tray of 'food' on the ground, causing some of its contents to spill over the edge of the tray and onto the ground. "Be lucky you're even gettin' this. If I had it my way this you'd be turned into scrap metal and those little bugs of yours tossed out the airlock." Deseri gave him an impassive stare before her mouth curled upwards into a slight smirk.

"You know, if this was a Horror game or show, you'd be the overconfident one that dies first." She waited until he looked like he was about to respond again before continuing. "You know, the character everyone hates and wants to die first. That's you. The guy who dies first."

"Why you-" Before she could say another word, the guard slammed his fist right into her jaw. Unfortunately, it likely had less of an effect than he would have liked but it still caused her to stumble backwards, reeling slightly form the blow. Before it could escalate any further though, a second guard stepping into the room. That was a bad move for him. Immediately the swarm that had been floating in the far corner of the cell moved between her and him. high pitched mechanical hissing noises and whirs filled the room in protest, but otherwise the swarm remained docile.

"Alright, that's enough." He said, grabbing the other guard on the shoulder. "We got more work to do here. Drop it." The other guard scoffed, shrugging off the other and turning around.

"Yeah yeah, whatever. Next time that thing gets a clever thought I'll teach it who's 'gonna die first'" He grumbled, walking out of the door followed by the other guard. Deseri just ran her hand over the place she had been struck. Well, she supposed a good thing of not being able to 'feel' things like she once did could be a good thing. Well, no matter. She looked over the 'food' that had been brought just as the swarm began to devour it. Not entirely the best stuff, but since her sense of taste was one of the first things to go, she couldn't exactly complain about prison food.

Ahh, she was bored. So bored.

It seemed though, she was about to get her chance.

Just as the first guard left the cell, the cell's double airtight doors slammed shut, nearly crushing the other guard right in two as he dove forward to avoid getting crushed. Alarms started blaring, and the ship lurched forward, a clear sign of it hitting the atmosphere of some planet - a sensation she was innately familiar with, having been in similar scenarios before in the military. She impassively stared at the door as the swarm began to grow increasingly agitated as there was another lurch, the cell block jettisoning itself from the ship.

Disturbance detected.
Ship likely has suffered catastrophic failure of some sort. Estimated forces indicate likely pull into planets gravity well.
Anti-aggression field weakening.

Suggestion course of action:

Feed.

She passively stared at the doors the guards had just left through. Ah, she hoped they would survive the impact.

~Four Weeks Before being shoved on Alcatraz~

Location: Earth
Penthouse of Mienieve Shalloyth, 2300 hours

It was raining. That was good. Rain always gave her some small sense of peace. Reminded her of her home back on Glonelia and of much less...complicated times. Honestly speaking? She missed her family. Always had. She was exiled at thirteen and they pretty much left her to rot, but...she understood why they did it at least. Their shitty culture and fucking emotions. As much as the rest of her people valued such things, they never did her any favors. Couldn't blame them for it, really. Could she? Of course she could, but they were out of her life and she wanted nothing to do with them as much as she did miss them. With a sigh, she picked up a wineglass off the table next to her, chugging the contents before looking at the street, far, far below the window of her penthouse.

Blue and red lights danced below. The traditional colors of the earth police force, though she couldn't hear the sirens this far up. They were coming then. A call from one of her bribed officers told her that much. She glared down at the vehicles and the police surrounding the large skyscraper. For one person, they were certainly bringing out all the welcome mats and party favors. The question she had though, was why? She was so close. So very, very, close...but as usual, the universe loved fucking with her as much as she loved fucking people. She hated her life sometimes, really.

No rest for the wicked, as they say.

She turned away from the window, picking up a data pad that was siting next to the wineglass as she scrolled through some soon to be useless information. Memos, information about her financial assets, names of bribed cops...interstellar flight times and prices to some far off worlds. Etc, things like that. She tossed it into the indoor pool not far away, the device uselessly giving a loud whir of complaint as water soaked its circuits. Useless. Just noise in the background, really. Like everything else. Useless noise and shapes.

She picked up the helmet for the armor she was wearing, placing it over her head, assault rifle resting not far away.

They'd come soon enough, but she was ready.

She wasn't going to let these fools take what she had worked so hard to achieve so easily. Not without making them regret it.

Ten tense minutes later of waiting, the swat team breached the room. The glass on the windows broke, as they rappelled down from the roof. At least she knew where they were coming in from. Turning on her heel, she turned to face a group of them as they landed, opening fire with her rifle. The modified weapon's laser melted right through any armor they might have and one went down almost instantly with the others taking swift cover.

"Are all policemen this rude? Breaking such expensive items." She asked with a light chuckle. "Really, you could at least knock before giving me such a delicious looking party." Her voice was modified a bit under the helmet as intended. Just in case she had to speak while wearing it, though in such a thing like this situation it wouldn't help. Of course, they didn't talk back, but merely opened covering fire and made their way inside of the room.

The rest of the firefight went about as well as one might expect. Mien held her own, but she was just one person against an entire swat team. Try as she might, there was no way she was getting out of this. Barely five minutes later she was on the ground near the pool, sweating in the armor and fairly certain she had broken more than a few things. Her leg felt like someone had put a spike through it, but she could ignore it. A little pain was nothing.

Not moments later she was tackled to the ground by several police officers, and it was over. Felt like...five of them? Normally having five guys on top of her would be her idea of a good time but...she was just tired, now. Unable to resist, she was cuffed tied up, and in a few other items that would also be a fun time out of context, forced out of the building. At least she got that pompous, smug chief of theirs.

The next few weeks were spent under high security in a hospital as her wounds were tended too, and in a high security jail. News of her capture was spread all over the news networks along with mugshots of her beautiful, silvery gooey self. The following trial was swift and absolute in its judgement. Multiple counts of murder, bribery, grand theft, illegal prostitution, human trafficking...she barely listened as the judge read off the list of crimes. Just more useless noise she didn't want to hear. She merely glanced down at the table where she was hand cuffed. Oh, and of course, the fancy high-tech collar that was pretty much a torture device someone could press a fancy button on to give her a nice little zap if she tried anything funny with any of her abilities. Double standards much, coppers?

She could perhaps at least look forward to some peace and quiet in some prison and potential escape, no? But instead she gets a one way trip to the most exotic, premier destination for all prisoners! The one, the only, glorious Alcatraz!

...fuck you, universe.

Location: Alcatraz

Okay, sorry universe. Alcatraz was actually pretty great.

Food, entertainment in the way of messing with the guards, place to sleep, and a nice little cell all to herself. Ooh, not to mention that funny little 'doctor' by the name of Lea. She was a funny one. Also cute. She wanted to do so many delicious things to her and her lab coat of hers. If this was back on earth, she probably wouldn't be able to keep her hands off of her. Tsk, this silly anti-aggression field. She just wanted to give her her love! Love was not aggression!

The thought made her giggle a bit to herself.

In truth, she honestly didn't mind it as much as she thought. The staff were pretty amicable. She was even on some fairly good terms with a few of the guards through uh, certain 'methods' that involve a number of things that'd probably get them in so much trouble back on earth. But here? Well, it got a little lonely sometimes, and a beautiful young thing like herself had a number of ways to help relieve certain interested parties of that. It was fun, and a win-win for everyone.

Unfortunately, not all guards seemed to be all that interested in her or her charms. Tsk, spoilsports. Wasn't like she could exactly...escape or something. In fact, she had no desire to cause any trouble at all. Escape or otherwise. Didn't convince all of the guards though. Like the one currently outside of her cell.

"Aww, come on. Just a quickie. It'll be fun!"

"No." He replied rather bluntly. He was tall, about six foot, wearing the typical uniform with dark blue eyes and shaggy brown hair. A firearm was strapped to his side. He wasn't much on the muscular side, but he definitely had a bit of a lithe, athletic build. Probably a runner and pretty limber from the looks of it.

"Your cold rejection wounds me, sir." She said in a fake-hurt voice, leaning against the wall of her cell and pressing her face against the wall between him and her. "No one'll know! Even if they do the what's the worst that could happen?"

"You know, when people usually say that the worst thing usually does happen." He shrugged with a scoff.

"Pfft. What, is the warden going to toss you out an airlock for fraternizing with a prisoner?"

"He might." He replied with a grunt, before looking at her with a somewhat judgemental stare.

"Woow, I feel like I'm back in front of the class trying to remember the lines to a small play. You're seriously not too friendly, are ya?" She asked.

"I like living. After what happened last time, I think having a 'quicke' wouldn't end well."

"Ouch. Well, I can assure you I am not going to eat you or anything. Well, maybe just a little nibble." She gave him a playful smirk, but before he could reply there was the lurching of a ship, something playing on the intercom and the distinct feeling of the ship accelerating at an alarming rate. Mien frowned as alarms started to blare. Something happened, then? Felt like they were heading right for some sort of planet as they accelerated. There was a lurch as the cellblock was jettisoned off of the ship. Her eyes widened a bit in surprise. "...Huh, fancy that. Looks like you were right. That is...bad. For you. Pretty sure there bucko."

The guard in question had already turned around. The cellblock had already pretty much been launched from the ship and if she knew her prisoners, the riots would start pretty soon.

"Look, uh, you probably don't trust me or anything, but once that Anti-Aggression field wears off them prisoners are gonna get more than a little rowdy. I like a party as much as the next guy, but you'll probably be in over your head." She said with something that almost sounded like genuine concern. "So how about that quickie now, eh? I don't have extreme violent tendencies like the rest of them, so you'll at least get to live a few seconds longer, heh~"

"That...doesn't sound reassuring at all." He fell silent, holding onto the side of the wall of her cell as he thought. "But alright, fine Sapishte." He said after a few seconds of deliberation, seeming to think taking his chances with her would probably at least increase his life expectancy than staying out here once the field wore off and the cells opened.

"Good boy!~" She said with a bright grin, earning nothing but a cool glare from him. "Okay, okay, you should probably juuuust duck in here before shit hits the fan and the cells open and stuff and we'll have our own private little get together."

The cellblock rocketed towards the planet below. Mien of course, braced herself the best she could while the guard did the same outside of her cell. The shouts of a few other guards down the hallway likely indicated they also knew very well what was going to happen once the field wore off. They probably didn't stand much of a chance against the prisoners considering the sheer number of them, but they'd fight regardless. Mien wasn't sure how long the impact would take, but she was ready. She might as well get out of this little shitty party boat for now. She had no plans to escape, but she didn't want to stick around and get killed by some violent prisoner or be in cuffs again.

Well, unless they were being used in the fun way.
Chimaera, Miren, Eith, Maoin

"You...want me to join your pack?" The Chimaera paused before a toothy grin spread across her mouth. Laughter followed as she spoke. "Quite the audacious one. This one did not believe so many people such as yourself existed in your so-called society." She paused for a moment, contemplating her answer. Really, a creature such as her following anyone? Well, she wasn't exactly opposed to it - but she wasn't one to simply roll over at the command of anyone.

"Fine," Her expression suddenly turned serious, fixing Eith with an aggressive glare as her toothy grin faded into a slight frown. "This one will consider it only if you prove strong." The Chimaeras intention would have been very clear, if her body language was anything to go by. She wanted Eith to prove herself that she was strong, and was worthy of her loyalty or capable of controlling her.

Miren meanwhile let out a relieved sigh as the doll agreed to help. She had never really interacted with the dolls much before, and she was slightly afraid that she wouldn't be able to communicate with them well. At least they seemed somewhat capable.

"R-right, so. First we're going to put on the meat. Cook it over the fire. All the pots and pans should be in place, so you'd just need to put the food on and make sure it doesn't burn. There's going to be a stew in one pot, and there's apples and some carrots and other vegetables in the supplies to make a salad with." As Miren spoke, she reached over to the small table she had set up to work with, reaching for a cutting tool as she began slicing some carrots and tossing them into a pot filled with water.

Luna, Marie, Sorcha, Sol.

Sorcha was visibly taken aback as Luna not only told her to play nice with this overgrown snake, she pet it of all things. A Wyrm! A lesser dragon! A thing that could barely be called a dragon! What, was she not cuddly enough for pets!? Luna could pet her all she wanted too! She had to make a point to close her mouth, as it was hanging open in slight shock. Calm, calm. It wasn't like Luna was going to take this thing home with them. It wasn't a lost puppy or something - it was a very dangerous creature that was obviously just a tad bit vicious if it attacked someone out of nowhere.

The Wyrm visibly retreated from Luna's touch, only for an instant in hesitation, but upon seeing the dragon trying anything it leaned into Luna's hand, rubbing its muzzle alongside her hand almost in the same manner a puppy or dog would. A few sparks of electricity arced between Sorcha's horns at this, and she folded her arms across her chest, tapping a foot forcefully on the ground. Hah, she was a grand dragon. A lesser dragon like this couldn't fluster her, nope!

The wyrm pressed its head into Luna's hand, before withdrawing and bumping her on the chest again with its muzzle. It seemed like it was trying to tell her something again but in this state it couldn't exactly speak, it seemed.

Marie for the most part started walking back to the camp at the front of the castle, seemingly disinterested and making a point to avoid Luna.
"Still don't trust her." Impmon replied with a humph as Lana and Ranamon dashed off. "And I ain't doin her no favors either." Rachel remained passive as usual, stretching and picking up Impmon again and patting him on the head.

"Hey, it don't matter." Kameo replied with her usual cheerfulness. "Anyways, were wastin' time! Off to the forest!" Kameo slapped Rachel on the back which earned the redhead a small glare from her as she dashed off, following quickly behind Yumeko. Swimmon followed behind, zipping through the air like some sort of flying fish. Rachel of course, followed at her own relaxed pace. Whew, she could go for something to drink about now.

Soon enough though, they found themselves at the forest, a wild Dokunemon wiggled its way past them, before hissing and scurrying off into the brush.

"...well Ain't that suspicious?" Impmon said from where Rachel was carrying him. Rachel was inclined to agree...though she supposed it could also be in a hurry. Still suspicious though.

"Not as fast as me! I may be a water-type but I'm just as fast on land!" Kameo bounced energetically before bolting after the Dokunemon.

"Ack! K-kameo don't run off!" The redhead was followed swiftly by Swimmon who was understandably concerned that this wasn't going to end well.
Chimaera, Miren, Eith, Maoin

"Eep!" The twig struck Miren right between the eyes, the rabbit making a rather adorable sounding yelp as she stumbled backwards from the sudden action, falling right on her butt. "Oowww..." She rubbed her backside, pouting at Maoin's sleeping form. Someone was cranky? Was she that tired? Then who was she going to get to help her cook for everyone? She couldn't cook for everyone and the new person here by herself!

"Hmm?..." The chimaera stopped, dropping a pile of wood near the fire pit. "You smell of fire and passion...but its a faint, almost as if a past memory." She replied, humming lightly before replying further. "This one is a Chimaera. Likewise, it is a pleasure to meet you, Eith of the Shellagh." She breathed in, glancing to the side before exhaling with a shake of her head. The serpent that was her tail seemed to frown before laying still on the ground.

"...this one does not have a name. It gave it up when it no longer deserved it." She took Eith's hand, giving it a firm, strong grip before givng her a grin. "You are the one the houspet spoke of, aren't you? The remains of the experiments of the demons that once stayed here."

As those two conversed, Miren grumbled and walked over to where she had set up some pots, pans, and other cooking utensils noticing one of Katherine's dolls. She frowned, hesitating a few seconds before approaching the tiny thing. "Ah...uhm, h-hello? D-do you think you could help with the cooking."

Luna, Marie, Sorcha, Sol.

"Oh? More training? I certainly wouldn't mind a sparring match or two with you, Luna." Sorcha replied with a smile, not commenting on Luna walking over to Marie, instead focusing on making sure the Wyrm didn't get uppity again.

"Urf, I don't need you're help." Marie groaned, as she sat up, but Luna didn't give her much of a choice. The knightess placed a hand on her shoulder, and the other on her bruised neck - which surprised Marie completely as she felt the bruise healing. She blinked, unsure of what exactly to say. She...she wasn't sure how to react. She had never really had anyone just heal her of their own free will like that. Or not even do anything of their own free will. She usually had to shout commands and order people to do things like that.

So wordlessly, she sat up and said nothing to Luna, not accepting her hand.

She didn't need her help.

She was the heiress to the throne of Pride.

She didn't need help from anyone.

...

She cast her gaze to the ground, scoffing lightly at Luna's kindness as she walked over to the Wyrm.

"I wouldn't count on it being able to talk." Sorcha said, giving the Wyrm a decidedly arrogant gaze to which it simply responded to with an impertinent hiss. "Wyrms barely are able to call themselves a dragon. At least Wyverns can fly, but these land serpents are hardly deserving of such a title. I'm surprised it can even understand human speech." It growled again, but it seemed to understand that if it tried anything else it wasn't going to have a fun time.

But...explain itself?

How could it do that?

It cast a glance towards the upper levels of the castle before fixing Luna with a stare, lowering its head towards the knight and nudging her chest with the end of its nose. Sorcha growled at this, electricity arcing across her wings as she took a step towards the Wyrm who backed off, only a bit.

Meowka - Katherine.

At the top of the stairs, the castle remained mostly as it had been. There wasn't too much different, at least. The hallway above was a small one that lead directly to the floor above the doorway that would have been blocked off by the rubble from earlier. The passage beyond seemed to be a simple hallway with some decrepit old suits of armor, though nothing really notable of value. As Katherine would move further down the hallway they would eventually come to a large room - some sort of large bedroom it seemed. Perhaps whoever used to be the head researcher here used to live here.

Unlike the rest of the castle though, this one had previous signs of activity showing.

The room smelled vaguely of some sort of exotic incense. There were burn marks on the floor, and if Katherine were to take a look around the room she'd notice some very out of place implements.

Tools that were used in embalming, furthering cementing whoever had been here just recently had been of foreign nature.
Alright, slight delay in that post but there you guys go.

@PaulHaynek
Small question. About how long do I have to wrap this quest up? Just asking for a general frame of reference for how I should pace things.
Opera Night

~@Eviledd1984, @The Irish Tree (NEP)~

Maria and Nephele left the guild, heading towards the location of the village called 'Aspenmourne'. The village was located almost halfway between the Guild and Boreal port, just on the edge of Lozagon forest. The pair left early enough to reach the forest by late morning. The forest itself had an almost eerie stillness to it. Not even a forest animal skittered across your path as the Mothwoman and Dragon walked to their destination. At least judging from the map if you had one, you were only a few minutes away from the supposed 'ghost town'.

Soon enough, they found themselves standing at the edge of the village - and from the look of things, it was by no means a town that didn't exist.

Men and women moved quickly through the cobblestone streets, some setting up colorful streamers to hang over the road. Others, were hauling basket full of freshly picked crops, bread, or other various foodstuffs. Most were jovially chatting and otherwise paying no attention to the two travelers - save for one well dressed man standing just a little ways from the old stone wall that sectioned off the village from the rest of the forest. Upon spotting you, the man seemed surprised almost, but it quickly passed as he practically ran over to greet the two of you.

"Ah! You're from the guild!" He gave both of you a bright grin, taking Maria's hand and giving it a firm, but warm shake. "Ah, I actually didn't think you'd be coming, being as far out here as our little town is." He chuckled jovially. "Ah, of course. I am Mayor Gerald Chaput, a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I personally thank you for coming here today to help with the preparations for the festival." He rubbed his chin thoughtfully for a few seconds before continuing. "We have all the crops and outdoor things put up, but we need a bit of help setting up things inside the manor. We're putting on a show here tomorrow evening and we're a few hands short. If you wouldn't mind following me to the old manor we can go ahead and get to work and finish in time to join the festivities this evening."

He paused to let the two of them reply or contemplate what they would do.

~Arletta Dupain~

@PaulHaynek@The Irish Tree

Arletta couldn't help but to giggle at Magnus' eagerness. It was...well, kind of cute if she was honest.

"Mhm, I suppose I'll introduce myself to the new girls over there later...I am curious as to this flying machine so I will be joining Magnus, it seems." She flashed the minotaur a smile. "Promise I won't go running off this time either." This flying machine was incredibly curious though! Without magic it seemed. As Neil said it would be an incredible feat - one she couldn't help but to feel eager to see for herself. If they set off now they could make fairly good time to Mahigan. It was too far away.

@PlatinumSkink

Heh

I do indeed~

I shall have the post up in the next 2-3 days.
@LunarisDaFox@Heckno12@Kitty

OOOKAY!~

Here's the second character.

Hopefully she's not too similar to VOICE, but I think she's fairly different enough~
Do tell if I need to change anything or need to expand on things.

Chimaera, Meowka, Maoin, Katherine.

"...oh? A prowler of the night? Do you prowl because you are afraid of fighting your foes fairly?" The Chimaera replied, a feral grin spreading across her lips. The chimaera's tail tapped its head lightly against the floor before fixing her with a gaze that was clearly questioning her intelligence. She almost seemed ready to take the house pet up on her challenge, but thankfully for her Katherine was willing to cover for the cat.

"O-ohhh?~" The Chimaera clearly made a purr as Katherine ran her hand over her stomach. She had walked into the den of the Nemean Lion? And come out unscathed. "Hrrmmm...Perhaps this one would be...eager to show you its 'abs'." She took a step closer to Katherine, letting her feel her stomach for as long as the human liked for a few seconds before returning to what she had been asked too. "After...this one does as you have asked. Perhaps." She turned, the snake tail impertinently smacking Meowka lightly on the head as she turned to leave.

"Careful you do not prowl where you do not belong..." She turned and walked with the dolls to the entrance of the ruin. It was an easy enough trek, though the dolls had a bit of trouble carrying Maoin, though the Chimaera seemed rather off put by them in general she didn't do anything other than passively lead them.

When they finally reached the entrance, the sun was starting to sink fully over the horizon. Soon it would be night, but that wouldn't be much of a concern it seemed. Miren had already started setting up camp, with a little help from Eith. A large fire pit had been made, and Miren had set up a small make-shift kitchen and was starting to get to work.

With the appearance of the Chimaera and dolls though, the rabbit stopped what she was doing immediately.

"...O-oh? H-hi?" "Oh dearohdear what is this she looks mean." Needless to say, the bunny was a tiny bit uncomfortable around the decidedly larger woman.

"...you smell of rabbit, yet something different. Similar? Yet not."

"E...eh?"

"...hmm, no need to be afraid, rabbit. This one has been invited peacefully." She took a look around the camp then back to Maoin. "That one has fallen asleep however...Perhaps wake the housepet. Do you need help with this camp?"

"...uhm, w-we could use a bit of help, yes?"
Miren replied, a but unsure.

"Hmm, then this one will lend assistance."

"Eh?" Yes, she was confused by this sudden appearance of this new person and by their offer of help. Maybe Maoin would have some answers? Miren would hop over to wherever the dolls sat the kitten down, and gently prod her to wake her up. The Chimaera went about helping set up the camp, easily doing any moving or things that needed doing.

Luna, Marie, Sorcha, Sol.

As Luna charged, a stream of fire blasted its way towards her, completely burning the ground and plants near it. Her shield held, the flames blasting off the front of it and fading off into nothing. Still, the intense heat charred her armor even slightly. Soon enough, there was a break in the flames as the Wyrm inhaled again, giving Luna the perfect opportunity to finish it off. It hadn't been expecting her to literally run through a wall of flame.

Luna's hammer first slammed into the leg holding its body up, surprised by the action it couldn't properly hold itself up, causing its upper body to fall within range of Luna's hammer. The second strike hammered right into the side of the serpents face - sending the creature sprawling to Luna's right, and slamming into the side of the castle. It's grip on Marie lessened, dropping her to the ground. Luna might want to check on Marie. She was laying, sprawled out on the remains of some burned pile of shrubbery.

"Uurff...stupid...lizard..."

...she was probably fine.

Sorcha smiled to herself, watching Luna finish off the Wurm. Haha...that could have gone so terribly, but Luna pulled it off in the end. That was her Knight for her.

"Hold tightly, Sol." Sorcha said, moments before flapping her might wings and gently landing some distance in front of Luna after a brief leap from the roof. She gave the Wyrm a seemingly scornful look before turning her gaze back to Luna.

"Now that was a spectacular battle!" She laughed heartily. "I almost thought you would need my help, hehe...but that's my Knight. You did well, Luna-" Before she could finish her sentence, there was a hiss as the Wyrm slithered into a corner formed by two walls of the castle, coiling its body and glaring at Luna, though it no longer seemed hostile.

"...Oh, what's this? Still some fight in you, creature? Admirable, but use that thick skull of yours." Sorcha said impassively. "Be grateful I don't feel like skinning your scales for arms and armor for my knight."

It hissed again, putting its claws in front of its massive coiled body in an almost protective seeming manner.

What would Luna do?
