Bio

Got nothing to say here, sooooo yeah.

I'm a bookworm, gamer, and obviously roleplayer since I'm on this site :P

Anyways, those are a few things that I'll say about myself... for now. Maybe I'll update this a little more in the future.

Ciao!

I really hope we can get this boss battle over with soon, I don't like to keep people waiting.

On another note to keep the ooc active, @Expolar what's your character going to be like? Where are they going to come from, look like, etc.

Furthermore, looks like our charys are somewhat unique in their ethnicity.

Sumire comes from this worlds version of the East.
Mike is from some place that idk of.
Bel comes from the Lothian Empire.
Ditto for Trace.
Rin is a friggin' mystery, though I'm guessing Themyscira.
Einar I only know, but will remain a mystery.
Artemisia I only really know of the swamp she comes from, but if I have to guess is maybe located somewhere in Suddene or Dinas Afaraon.
Branna is straight out of Dinas Afaraon.
William is from the Lothian Empire.
Ditto for Thom.
And Kyran is from Reynes.

So we nearly have a balanced group from around the world, just need someone from Lyonesse, Zion, and Dyfed, maybe. For those that I guessed on, mind correcting me if I didn't hit the mark?

That response was a jolt to the thief, wincing and grimacing as he flinched from Taka's harsh shout, murmuring "Too loud," before taking a few steps back from the boy and looking to the side. His face slightly contorted into a frown as he pivoted slightly and looked away from the boy, going silent as the shorter boy formed what assumed to be a defensive stance.

And he did all this in a crowded area.

Aurel couldn't help but cringe for a second, shivers being sent down his spine as he shrunk back, to the point where he could be comparable to a shriveled grape at this point. Not only did he have to shout, but the thief began to worry that this drew inadvertent attention to him and began staring at the floor as he began to shuffle back. Was he going to embarrass himself like a couple of days ago? Who knew as he began to take sidelong glances at the door, moving every few inches so often.

He was holding his breath and waiting for an opportunity to bolt out, at least until Taka sort of apologized, causing Aurel to coolly sigh. "Fair, though impossible..."

"Anyways, erm, lets get g-going,"
he stammered a bit near the end, "I want to see if there's anything missing from the Mess Hall." With that said and done, he gestured, trying his best to not disappear from sight as he squeezed through some individuals, as well as a few people by the entrance to the cabin.

"Pardon me, Himura."

Lothian Empire || Garleton: Plaza || Evening
With a shriek and a gurgle, the archers life left his body as swiftly as the blade that had tore through his chest, bit more messy than last time, but Einar still had that same bravado as he did before. Looking at his own weapon, he gave it a light shake as the blood splattered into the dirt, making quite the murky color, but this was no time to dally.

Slightly angling his head to the left, he was able to catch a quick glimpse at the ensuing action as he saw that common soldier dash past him, attempting to take advantage of the opening before seeing that same draconian visage soar on by, with its creepy, one-eyed rider skewering that same archer who was overwhelmed by this whole situation. There was one tiny loose end in the back of his mind as he pivoted around and planted his feet firmly in the ground, holding his sword up, only to witness a still very much alive Bandit that was bleeding out and Thom leaving Alnard to do... something.

He gave a dirty glance to the other two, scowling and shaking his head as he witnessed the scene, only to watch the Bandit Leader take advantage of this insignificant amount of time to try and strike down the Prince. Those two guards that accompanied the big guy wouldn't be much use right now as they looked to be preoccupied with some other Bandits, trying to fend them off.

That was enough to prompt the mercenary to sheathe his messy sword and swipe up the iron bow the corpse was still clinging too and one of their arrows from the pouch and aimed at the man, only to see Alnard deftly avoid the swing and ineffectively counter-attack, "Figures."

"Now, how did Bel do this exactly," he pondered, awkwardly nocking the arrow and pulling the string with it back, hand trembling a bit as his eyes shifted constantly, his own movements wavering and uncertain as the archer he cut down, but less erratic, "tch, she made this look easier."

Holstering the bow and redrawing his stained blade, he noticed a figure behind the Prince; more notably, they were tossing a sack off to the side of them, a couple of knickknacks and coin spilling out. Unsurprisingly, it was another bandit, but that was a problem as Einars eyes widened for a brief moment before squinting, peering at the Brigand that had emerged from the flames.

He couldn't exactly use a bow, so he thought of the next best thing as he held up his free arm for a second, hand wide open, before dropping it back down and grimacing. "Crap, I can't just do that on a whim, I might hit Alnard, or even friggin' miss."

As much as he wanted to rush, he quickly evaluated the scene, eyes scanning as he flew over the battlefield for a quick glimpse before groaning and rushing forward. "Those dumbasses..." There was no way he could get to Alnard on time, especially without incurring an opportunistic attack from the Leader, and further more even if that guy did injure one of the Bandits he was still a liability, so Einar did what he only could in this situation.

As he sprinted throughout the blaze, he drove his blade into the weakened bandit, plunging it into the mans back, forcing the man to topple over and skid on the ground. Einar's knee was now resting on a newly minted corpse as he whipped his head around to look at the rider and soldier behind him, mouthing only two words to the duo.

"Get. Him."

Nine
Berlin, Germany || ??? || January 24, 1:00
Darkness.

Whether it be from the lifeless, lightless dry room or the fact that his eyelids were loosely as he sat there with his handler, Nine was constantly obscured in it with the other man. Whether or not his handler took note of this, he could care less right now as he just wanted to slump over and lie down and much to his chagrin, drooping over was not a proper alternative as he had to catch himself multiple times on different intervals as much as he desired to doze off, even during the short briefing.

His breathing was stilted, silent, formless, chest not even moving a milimeter as he sat there, being told there was no need for a big scene. As a response to this, he yawned loudly before the sound of cracking illuminated the room with some modicum of sound outside of the taciturn mans voice, before cracking again as Nine stretched his arms upwards.

How tedious. Plus, if they were just going to do missions like these for the past couple of weeks, they could of let him bring along his violin or something. Play it for five minutes then nap for an hour or three. Perfectly balanced.

His head nodded, though he leaned a bit too forward and had to catch himself, the light clapping of his shoes being a simple enough answer to his handlers first words, followed by them being shaken off and letting his toes roam free.

Leaning back, he groaned before looking over at the red haired man as he finished giving the rest of the orders. "Sounds simple enough; longest we should be here is a couple of hours, maybe even less," Nines voice was flat and monotonous to a point where it wouldn't be surprising if someone mistook him for some type of advanced AI. His resting bitch face was just as unassuming and dull as well as he looked away and yawned before turning back and lazily resting his head on one of his hands.

Whether it was evident or not, Nine had set out his thin, invisible threads as soon as the mission was made clear, extending all of them, but limiting himself to using only one-fourth of the nerve strands, with the rest being on stand-by. He temporarily attached to any specimens who were unfortunate to pass on by, only taking quick glimpses through their eyes before detaching the strings and moving onto another target. The whole process was discreet thankfully, so it was nigh impossible for them to tell they were being used.

Furthermore, while most of the visual stimuli that he was fed on a second by second basis would of overwhelmed any normal human, Nine remained completely unfazed before pausing for a split second and tapping his lower lip with an index finger.

"Speaking of making the specimen disappear, mind if I bring home some take-out for the others?"

Einar
Lothian Empire || Garleton: Plaza || Evening
"Good choice," Einar grinned, addressing the prince looking at the larger individual, raising an eyebrow as he shrugged, unconcerned about the discord sowed in the midst of the city, whether it be by the magic that lingered behind the fire or the assault of the brigands it didn't matter. What mattered was moving forward as he hustled with the rest of the group, passing by guards escorting commoners or fending off brigands, some commoners fleeing for their life or sobbing over a body that was unmoving as they were.

However, the mercenary just kept moving ahead, in front of the others, though it was mainly due to the big dude shoving him. Honestly just made him laugh in his head, as he couldn't tell if the guy was just trying to use him as a meatshield or something; bit cowardly to him, especially with that armor he had on.

But that didn't matter as the five of them arrived on the scene with little to no interruptions in the midst of the eye of the storm. It wouldn't be safe for too long as he studied the bandits, eyeing the small group of a bigger whole up and down as he tightly gripped his weapon, studying which one would be the first target to take down. His eyes drifted between the two archers, arrows nocked and bow wavering as their hands moved erratically between the five of them, focusing primarily on the dragon lady, the brigand brandishing an axe as he hefted it onto his shoulder before leveling it back with the ground with his hands.

However, he had a much bigger target right now, though he didn't want to engage the man just yet. Einar smugly smiled at the trio standing in front of their leader, leering and flipping off the brigand with an axe, mouthing dumbass as a taunt to lure him in. Despite these gestures as the leader and Alnard made their exchange, he couldn't exactly goad the peon into striking.

"Hm, he either has a lot more self-control than I expected or is unsure to strike at us right now," he mused, wryly smiling at the group as he chuckled, blinking for a split second as the older bandit barked at the Prince, rolling his eyes. "By the way Alnard, nine times out of ten, bandits won't negotiate," he shouted, digging his feet into the dirt before giving a strong push forward, launching himself into the fray once the duo finished chattering, not giving the brigands the opportunity to strike first.

From what he determined, the archers seemed to have their eye on the dragon, so that settled who his target was as he diverted to the side, hopping out of the way where the bandits axe would land when attempting to strike at him. It was like Einar wasn't giving him the time of day as the weapon clumsily slammed into the dirt, much to the bandits chagrin as he nashed his teeth in anger, only to get dirt kicked in his face by the mercenary.

Not getting bogged down by that interaction, Einar saw the archers face contort and eyes widen as he approached, reading the fear written all over their wincing body. The bandit was in a panic and from what he noticed out of the corner of his eye, the other archer was now aiming at him. Perfect.

As soon as Einar was within a few meters of the archer to his right, he raised his sword up slightly, before digging his heels in and coming to a quick stop. What followed was just as he predicted; the mercenary watched as the arrow from the other archer whiz past his chest with another being shot directly at him, only to completely miss its mark as the arrow flew by his sword arm and embedded itself into a blazing building.

The last thing Einar ensured the archer saw was his smug smile as he swiftly approached the man, holding his sword up above him. Before they could even react, the mercenary briskly brought his blade down, carving the bandit from his arm all the way down to his abdomen.

Nyo ho, time for Einar to call some shots and identify the best course of action for the group. Could lead to falling the Leader quickly, maybe; whether or not the others take his advice is another story.
Well, Rune finally convinced me to hop on the world eater train. I'll work to get something up sometime, but all I can say is that the flesh is fluid! It can be reshaped, remade! Also, searching for meaning and some other unimportant shiz. Regardless, quite the colorful cast you all have here.
Einar
Lothian Empire || Garleton: Plaza || Evening
As soon as Einar caught sight of those broad ebony wings spreading open and the one-eyed lancer brandishing her weapon openly as she took aim, the mercenary concluded that the battle was over. With a smirk, he put one last final shove into it all, causing the bandit to stumble a few inches back before regaining his composure and raising his weapon high up to strike the mercenary once more.

But it would never land; even if the lady missed due to a lack of depth perception, the bandit was a lot slower and he could of easily evaded at that point to slit his throat, especially since the small family had finally gotten out of the way. Smugly sneering at the man, Einar held his sword firm to the side as he began surveying the rest of the blazing inferno as the rest of the bandits pillaged the town and commoners scattered like ashes to the wind.

The sound of a clank was all that was needed to confirm the death of the man and a small, hapless sigh escaped his lips as he turned towards the creepy-looking lady on her dragon, "Thank's for the assistance lass," slightly smiling at the girl before the prince instructed the family of three to travel towards the castle. Well, that was that.

Following that, the boy stepped forward and issued a command to the trio to drive off the bandits with him, urging Einar to peer behind him, seemingly unconcerned with the raging chaos threatening to engulf them at any second as he deftly twirled his sword around and grasped it, doing this at least twice during this encounter. "Yeah, gotcha," his voice sounded relaxed, easygoing with no strain or stress before looking to the groups and swiftly analyzing the situation.

However, another unknown entered the area, raising his voice to address the prince, causing the young mercenary to break eye contact with the entire scene and peered behind him to notice that a rather plain individual had joined the group. Einar didn't bother giving the man the time of day and turned his head back as he watched the town burn.

"Aaaaaanyways, I'm no tactician, but I think we should all go after that bandit with the gaudy gear," he uttered out loud to the team, but in particular, this statement was primarily levied at the prince as Einar turned his head back and gazed at him with his own piercing stare, a stark contrast to that same relaxed tone he had. "He's obviously the leader, plus there is no way we are going to be able to completely quell this incursion, but at the very least, we should be able cow them by taking him out."

He turned back around to the skirmish and pillaging taking place and smirked, "After all, cut off the head of a snake, the rest of the body dies."

I'll get something up for tomorrow since I'm tired as hell right now, but from the looks of it, looks like Alnard, Branna, Einar, and Thom are the only four so far who are going to handle the bandits while everyone else retreats to the castle? Missing a healer too, damn.

Team BEAT is on its way to crack some skulls, evacuate the peasantry, and doing their best to adhere to the Joestar Family's secret technique once the deed is done.
