Jasmine mostly kept to herself, made small talk to others in the group when she can but nothing too extravagant. She hadn't planned to join such a large group. After seeing what was happening in the cities and shelters, you'd think gathering in the middle of the highway would be at the bottom of the list. But it's better than going off alone.
The memory of the morning she woke up with her boyfriend abandoning her to head East flashed across her mind. Normally she'd head to the gym and blow of steam but due to the predicament the world got itself into... that would be a luxury. She wondered if Peter was even alive, it wasn't that long ago that they went their own ways. Perhaps one day when things go back to normal and she finds her parents, the next thing on her list would be to rejoin Peter. The rate of how things were going and by word of mouth, things weren't going to be normal for a while.

At the mention that the group would go to costco, Jas was skeptical that there would be anything useful left in a place like that. But looking at the grim faces around her, the promise of supplies was probably the best thing to get people moving.

Bio:

In order escape the Opium War in Hong Kong she was sold off as a child to a military officer. She was given the name "Eliza Walker" barely remembering the one her mother birthed to her. Now as a member of the Walker family, she ends up serving them as a live-in maid. Though they provided for her, including education, she was treated as part of the help. It wasn't until the age of 16 where she began to exhibit her powers after accidentally possessing the house-cat. When she was able to control her power to a certain extent, she possessed the head of the Walker household and made it so that Eliza Walker was free from her duties and given a generous sum for her trouble.

With enough money to live a undisturbed life, she focused on finding out who and where her family is in Hong Kong. It was when she possessed a government official trying to access documents that she was caught by a man named Edgar Kinsley who offered her help and protection in exchange for service in the newly formed agency, The Queen's Hand. At a dead end, Eliza accepted the offer hoping to find out more of her life before she was sold.

Ability: Possession

• Eliza is able to possess a person or animal and use their abilities (if they have any).
• She is only able to possess one being at a time and cannot repossess the same person for another 24 hours after she leaves the body.
• The longer she stays in a body, the more it affects her health, at the current moment she can only possess a person for a maximum of 4 hours, animals for 6.

Description: The house mother of South Bank House. She's a 50s something kind woman that has watched over the past residents of SBH when it was a safe house for unholies escaping persecution. No one knows whether or not Ms. Agatha has powers of her own, but needless to say you don't want to get on her bad side.

Description: Daughter of Edgar Kinsley, works as a secretary for The Queen's Hand and also serves as a lady-in-waiting in the Queen's court.

Description: Queen of England and its territories, she was at first an opponent of superpowers but Edgar Kinsley had convinced her otherwise. After the Crimean War, under her rule, she outlawed persecution of powered individuals without trial and established The Queen's Hand. Since then she has grown more warm towards people with powers even allowing some to stand as her personal guards.

Description: A close friend to the royal family, Edgar Kinsley himself grew up in a prestigious family.
When it came to the persecution of the "unholies' Edgar used his newfound ability to detect powered individuals and help them escape from the rage of the public.
It was him that pushed the idea of the Queen's unholy army to win the Crimea war and eventually founded the Queen's Hand.
As main director of The Queen’s Hand he oversees operations and recruitment for the agency.

I'm so glad there has been this much interest. A few things that I'm currently working on and will either get posted sometime this week

  - One thing I will know is that I am capping everyone off at 1 character for now. It won't be until we get past the first chapter that I will allow multiple characters. (Reason will be revealed later)

  -Mainly for references of the style and clothing of the time. If you happen to find a FC on there you like feel free to use it!
