Hello, I'm a bit new to the site, however I would be very interested in participating in this RP. I'm very interested in the Elder Scrolls lore however having only joined the series in Skyrim, my knowledge of the older games is a bit shaky (I know some but not all of what happened in the other games).

If you're still accepting characters I would be interested in reprising the role of a young Khajiit who has chosen to leave Elsweyr after the rebellion to seek fame and fortune. Jo'Vesrai is the 4th Son of a Merchant and thus has some coin to his name and has developed the skills of a caravan guard, typically fighting as a rather nimble spell sword.

Of course I will elaborate further on this character if I'm able to join the RP proper and hope that brief overview will suffice for now.

Welcome. A working knowledge of TES lore is required before joining. If you feel like you are particular lacking, I suggest you head over to UESP and read over any relevant content.

Oh you ain't any fun are ya

You know the rules...

@gcold Thank you for the invite. I had no prior knowledge of this particular Elder Scrolls scenario but I am definitely interested. I'm thinking of simply making some minor alterations to the argonian that I never had a chance to use in the last TES role-play that I applied to join. I have actually already started the conversion process. I'll get it done as soon as practical. For now, sleep and whiny children call.

Awesome, feel free to ask if you have questions.

Sagax

Reading now, will get back to you ASAP.

Don't get too excited.

Nah, we can start right now. But I'd like to wait until the weekend.
:< plz bae why? ;-; jk

Too cheesy yo.

Well, I'm asking people to do it since a large part of his character is basically telling people that he's a a girly looking guy but still a guy and not a girl. I can't really do that as a one man band.

Don't worry, we got your back.

@Gcold By the way, I laughed a little at Dumhuvud Cat-Kicker*s name as noticed it a moment ago. Did you name him Dumhuvud on purpose or how did you come up with such a name?

I named him on purpose, after rummaging through a Swedish dictionary.

like most redguard males, he lacks the Redguardian muscular structure that is commonly attributed to Redguards.

Pretty sure you meant "unlike".

And redundancy; "redguard males", "Redguardian muscular structure", "attributed to Redguards".

I never even heard of "Redguardian", it's just "Redguard".

Well, @ClocktowerEchos, that was... interesting.

First of all, is he Orc/Nord or still Orc/Imperial?

Second, cheese is not a currency.

Everything else checks out. If you want Lucex to be perceived as female, you can highlight it in your IC posts.

Here comes the NPCs.

Also posted to characters.
REALLY WISH YOU COULD JUST DELETE POSTS. ARE YOU LISTENING, MAHZ?

THANKS OBAMAHZ!!!

Here's a pad for y'all.

I'm going to take that as an approval of go femenize him in the name of Talos for the lols. @Gcold any objections?

You have all my endorsements. Do it.

@DeprivedOfWords I've responded to some of your concerns via PM, here's the rest.

Non-Ashlanders just started to return to Vvardenfell in 4E 203, under the supernatural restoring powers of the Nerevarine and Azura. Before that, only select Ashlander tribes managed to survive. If you want to know more about Morrowind, check out the second OOC post.

On the issue of Dunmer ages, I think Barenziah could reproduce at the age of 18. However, this is by no means equal to adulthood. There are a decent amount of evidence on how old elves can get, but not so much on how young there were before maturity. The problem I see is not her physical age, but rather how little time has passed with all Relmyna had been through. If you still want her to be very young, 30 is the minimum.

Everything else Leiden said are also good points. I would like to ask how she ended up in with the mercenaries. You can explain to me in PM is that's a secret.

Dual dagger is acceptable as sneak weapons. Relmyna doesn't need to have bigger blades if she's not the muscle type. She can obtain other weapons in the RP. And Leiden, I would not win knife fights with a pair of jeans.

Missing finger is a delicate issue to handle. Let me know exactly which digit(s) she lost.

So Relmyna is an excellent cook, but where is the provisioning skill?

Just to nitpick the nitpicker, Magnus is not Nordic because it did not originate in Skyrim or Atmora.

Quick question for @gcold: I was thinking of replacing Tennant's Novice Mercantile skill with Novice Provisioning, so he knows how to make non-carbonated Lemonade and Fruit Juice, und literally nuzhing else. More of a novelty than anything else, unlike his Woodworking ability. Is that acceptable?

Go for it.
DON'T JUDGE ME.

@Vhagar It would depend on how he was trained with the weapon. If he preferred a slashing style, and the glaive is more blade than tip, 2H blade would be appropriate. If not, I would go with what Leiden said, spear. A spear-focused glaive would not have too much trouble defeating armor of its own strength, however, against anything tougher it's gonna be an uphill battle. Blade-focused glaive does have more trouble against equal armor, but, you gain a wider arc of attack. I'll let you decide which one to take, if you want both, you can always split it into 2 adepts.

Also something Leiden said, that picture is not very relevant in a fantasy setting.

3 different blends of poison is too much for an apprentice, you can change to 3 of the same type.

While 5'11 is slightly below average for an Redguard, it is about average in the context of all races.

He's not exactly sensitive to all elements, and definitely resistant against sand. I would change it to weakness to frost.

Look, there's nothing wrong with your background and personality, and they're certainly well written. But, both are very average and cliche at parts. We can't reject you because your character is not unique enough, but I would certainly take my time and try to spice it up a little.

Everyone else, I'll be making a list of NPCs in the camp. Some of your characters might be affiliated with a couple of them.
