Well, be sure to check anyway. Mosquitoes lay eggs in stagnant water. Disturb/toss any stagnant water.
I also find eating food with garlic mixed in helps repel mosquitoes. But that's just me. :P

That's very unfortunate, I'm sorry. I don't think I could ever attend cons alone. It's just not the same without friends to go with. I can relate on the budgeting. Honestly, I shouldn't be spending at all on these things, but I just love it so much since it's quite the escape from reality. Is it just a very situational thing for you? Do you see yourself having the opportunity to attend one in a few years even?

Honestly. If i could land a decent job, I'd probably be able to attend cons. I'd also like to get into cosplaying myself. But again, don't got the income. Also don't got the face for a lot of characters I'd like to cosplay as.

Well that's the problem. The only people I know who enjoyed going to cons, I've come to hate over time. Due to conflicts.
I'm also broke as hell. Usually lacking the money to even attend the local cons.

I actually have a weird obsession with different editions of monopoly. I own the Doctor Who one (I know) and I intend to get the Zelda and Pokemon ones.
