Vivian & Sylvia Altissima

@Restalaan @PaulHaynek @13org @ShwiggityShwah

As the coffins and caskets were opened and everyone reacted negatively to the smell, Sylvia considered spreading some pollen to counteract the stench. Granted, being a plant, the smell reminded the sisters of fertilizer, and was pleasant for them. Fortunately, the liliraune was highly attuned to the fact that different animals preferred different fragrances, and Vivian, having been raised by humans, knew not to get tastes mixed up in her cooking. The sisters ultimately decided that spreading pollen would be a waste of time, since something that smelled sickly sweet might actually be more nauseating than something that merely smelled sickly.

But as the zombies began attacking, the sisters screamed in surprise and began to inefficiently slap away any approaching zombies with their flailing roots and vines. Upon being picked up by Ditzy, for which the sisters were grateful for, Sylvia feeling particularly guilty for how she had previously judged the hobgoblin, the focused their vine attacks to keep any zombies from dragging or slowing down Ditzy. Sylvia also jealously slapped at the zombies that were crawling all over Neil, but she was carried away before she could do much to help. At least Ozzy was able to lift Neil to safety.Upon reaching the church, the liliraune started to entangle the church doors with their vines, but not enough to prevent the doors from shutting. "Quick! Get inside! I'm gonna close it! That Forde! I don't think there was a patrol at all! He knew this would happen!" Sylvia called the others to safety while Vivian began to express her suspicions. If and when everyone had made it inside, the sisters would close the door and entangle the frame, fortifying the entrance.

Shyvana

Shyvana fell silent at Ahri's criticisms of Demacia. It wasn't that Demacia hated mages necessarily, it was that Demacia promised her people safety, stability, and order. What was happening was just temporary until something could be figured out to make mages less of a danger to their fellow citizens. It was people like Sylas who forced Demacia's hand. At least, that was what Shyvana kept telling herself. Magical entities like herself who had proven they were not a threat, but a benefit to the people were trusted by Demacia; but Shyvana knew that wasn't true the moment the thought passed through her head; she only held her position thanks to the protection of Prince Jarvan.

"We won't remain in the city long," Shyvana said, offering it as lukewarm reassurance, "I'm sure the Guild will send us out where we will not be a danger to the people of Demacia." Looking around, Shyvana saw a diverse array of characters had arrived, and solemnly greeted them each in turn, before the small man came and invited them for their briefing. Though she had never met him, Shyvana had heard of the eccentric man who handled the Guild. Despite knowing of him, his appearance still came as a surprise. Shyvana frowned, feeling that this man was giving the newcomers a bad first impression of their noble city, but thought that perhaps the man's quirkiness would be more palatable to those unused to Demacia's discipline. She wordlessly followed the man to the conference room. As the only native Demacian, Shyvana felt the responsibility to lead so she kept an eye on the others, noticing Akali's distance. Shyvana refrained from bringing it up though, deciding to give allowances to each person's individualities.
Salem Vicarious, Lord of Lost Things

@Lugubrious @Archmage MC

Salem was caught off guard by Graft's sudden movements and pouted as Graft slapped the defiled hat back on the doll's head. Floating out of reach of the director, Salem complained, "Geez...! I was only joking~ But you're one to talk about cooperation! Unless you've forgotten, your 'job' isn't maximizing benefit to yourself, but to maximize benefit to the Chateau. Yet when I suggest an amicable quid pro quo, you say it is in your nature to get something for nothing from Light and I, and exploit our goodwill. We are, for lack of a better term, your business partners, and you should be investing in our mutual relationship." Of course, Salem was merely arguing for the sake of arguing, and only repeating stuff they had heard from Dr.Drd when the Sable Lord complained of 'management'. "And in a tantrum, you've ruined my best hat~! But I'll forgive you. It's clear that the creature in front of you has made you emotional, so you're not the usual, objective, dependable Graft that we all know and love. Don't worry, I'll keep your secrets for as long as you desire, free of charge! And just to show that I treasure our relationship, I'll give you something else for free; some advice~!"

Up to now, Salem, while pouty, had maintained a precocious and chipper attitude, but the doll suddenly became grave. "I know a thing or two about being the favorite of a creator." Salem's eyes darted over to the nightgaunt, scanning and lingering over every injury. Salem was momentarily grateful that it's own body parts could be easily replaced so that no scars remained, but that soon became resentment as the doll vengefully longed for some lasting evidence of abuse to show the world, but that thought quickly passed. "I thought each Chapter Keeper was their respective creator's favorite like I was. I see now that I am mistaken." Salem was heavily insinuating to Graft, without revealing too much, that the nightgaunt was Brushen Penn's favorite. Salem was pretty sure Graft knew what was being implied. "Destroy it. That is my advice to you. If nostalgia and abandonment are driving you, know that nothing you do with it will bring your creator back. If curiosity is driving you, then turn back, it's not worth it. You might think that you can control it, mold it how you want, exert power over it, but some forces, emotional forces, cannot be measured. Our remaining Lord, Rodias..." Salem sighed, realizing that their next words could be greatly misinterpreted, but soldiered on, "I fear Rodias is emotional, and therefore unfit to lead. And if Lord Rodias learned of this...thing, this...legacy of another Sable Lord, well, I fear for your position. Our creators are fickle, and cannot be expected to be objective. No matter your loyalty, no matter your service, they will give their attention to the next, newest plaything, more so something with sentimental value. Do not give them that opportunity, do not let yourself be replaced, for your own sake and the Chateau's. Destroy it. I won't tell anyone."

In the next instant, the childish act returned. "alright, it's getting boooring~ in here. The only thing more boooring~ than doing work is watching someone else do work. I don't need to supervise you since everything you make is excellent, and I would be daft to pay to watch something I find absolutely droll. Anyways, access to my wardrobe is still open to you and the new lady, no strings attached. Welp! Time to blow this popsicle stand!" With that, Salem left the Factory, though on it's way out, Salem tossed the ruined hat into an open furnace. Items were created to be destroyed.

@The Irish Tree

Having returned to the City of Lost Things, Salem pondered momentarily on Graft's outburst. Salem had no memory of Graft ever acting out to such a degree, and as much as the doll was loathe to admit it, it was kind of scary. This was coupled with the fact that Graft had a weapon that could very easily and utterly destroy Salem. As much as Salem was a nihilistic brat, Salem still understood that relations in the Chateau needed to be maintained; for self-preservation, and because it was the only home Salem knew. Salem now knew that the Graft only gave himself the allowance of being a greedy businessman, and while he gladly threatened to make his allies pay for trivialities, he apparently balked when the same was done to him in return. Being the overseer of the Factory, Graft, paradoxically, was a creation but made ultimately to be a creator, so for him to embody the same hypocrisies as their creators was not unusual. But for the time being, Salem would play nice.

Salem went through the City's inventory of glass eyes and also scoured for small glossy red and black beads that could easily pass as vermin or bird eyes, tearing them off of the City's subjects if necessary. Having prepared all this, Salem took possession of the eyes and beads, allowing them to extend the doll's vision. Salem covered them in cloth and placed them in boxes to be sent to the factory to be inserted into the dolls Graft was preparing. As a bit of a peace offering, Salem made sure the boxes could only be opened from the outside and not from the inside by, say, a levitating eyeball, and included specific instructions to keep the box closed and the eyes and beads covered with cloth at all times so Graft would know that Salem had no intention of spying on the Factory's inner workings.

The boxes were then delivered to the Factory by a threadbare teddy with stuffing flowing out of generous gashes. It hardly mattered if it returned to the City in one piece or not. Having noticed that there were several scouting parties outside the Chateau, some more permanent than others, the constant surveillance that Salem provided with the doll heads scattered outside were becoming redundant. At the very least, the Chateau had fewer blindspots now, so Salem decided to recall any whose vision overlapped with the scouts so that their eyes could be re-purposed for the spying facsimiles under construction. Fewer than half of the doll heads levitated out of their positions and proceeded to return into the Chateau, but to do this, they would need to pass through the entrance, the 5th Chapter. While attempting to unlock the Chapter, Rodias would likely be suddenly greeted by the disturbing sight of a stream of mutilated doll heads suddenly hovering into his vicinity. Noticing Rodias piqued Salem's curiosity, and the heads converged on Rodias. "Whatcha up to?" the heads would say in broken unison.

@BrutalBx @Altered Tundra

As Janet crashed into the 1A common room, because she wasn't traveling (presumably) at supersonic speeds, Ziggy was able to hear Janet's arrival moments before it happened. She shouted "Watch out!" to all present before diving out of the way herself. In the aftermath, Ziggy got up shakily, brushing herself off and whispering, "...laa hawla wala quwwata illa billah..." to herself; an Arabic phrase she had learned from her father which translates as "There is no might nor power except with God", often said during times of distress. Ziggy looked at Janet in wonder, assuming that her powers made her a 'flying brick'-type, though her exclamation of pain might have just ruled out the 'brick' part of it. Still, Janet didn't seem all that hurt, as the woman promptly introduced herself.

"N-Nzige Nyenje, but you can call me 'Ziggy'," the Wakandan replied, "A-are you hurt? Do you need help?" Ziggy wanted to reach a hand out to help Janet up, but Theo had beat her to it.
Forgot to add the pirate champion's pic. I've added it in the previous update. Although, he's not just a pirate champion.

We were getting our asses handed to us by a frickin' Medabot!
Salem is actually a doable boss battle that requires perseverance, endurance, and lots of healing, or using one of their hard counters, of which Graft has one (his item that destroys other items would wreck Salem by specifically targeting Salem's item durability mechanics), but any class that focuses on breaking items, as long as they can survive Salem's onslaught, would be a major threat to Salem.
MillAgros-TR-17 Hyouka

@PaulHaynek

Seeing Camille join the fray made Hyouka feel that her little pep-talk earlier was redundant, and perhaps a little unnecessarily judgmental. The hope of pushing back the pirates momentarily appeared before being obscured by the appearance of the green pirate ace. Too focused on fulfilling her tactical objective, Hyouka had been unable to defend herself when the green robot lunged at her, only for Hyouka to be saved by Camille's support fire. But now Camille had engaged the ace in melee, and there was no one available to support her against the superior onslaught. Hyouka couldn't fire at such close proximity, not onl ybecause the enemy machine moved to quickly for Hyouka to get a bead on them, but too many of her allies would be caught in the collateral of her blasts. There was only one, stupidly desperate thing Hyouka could think to do. From her position on top of the toppled truck, Hyouka sidled towards the edge and lifted her heavy cannon over her head. She watched and waited for the fight between Camille to approach beneath the shadow of the truck and for a moment when Camille would make a good strike, or at least one good enough to distract her opponent. When such an opportunity presented itself, or whenever Hyouka felt Camille's situation became too desperate to wait any longer, Hyouka would leap from the truck, swinging her tw-handed cannon down like a bludgeon backed up by the full, falling weight of her ensemble, hoping to either deal a disabling blow, or create an opening for Camille to finish the fight. It was stupid, it was reckless, and it was a gross misuse of her weapon.
Yeah, sorry. I just now read Irish's post. What are your thoughts on the possibility that Dr.Drd, who clearly has a thing for automatons, wanted to renovate Chapter 5? It fits because Dr.Drd did simply disappear from the game. Before he left he might have been obsessively criticizing Ivonbraids' shoddy item sort code and wanted to 'fix' it. Which could mean that Salem has a clue for the password. Unless of course, you already have plans in place.
@Xaltwind

Is COIN's password still in effect after the game ended? Because after Salem's interaction with Graft, the doll will have reason to remember Isolde and attempt to awaken her.
Is Salem a little shit?

Yes, yes they are.
