Current @SaltSight Game was Astlibra: Revision. Found it on sale bundled with another game I've been wanting so I gave it a shot and got like, straight indie JRPG of the early 2000s injected into my veins.

Final Fantasy: Stranger in Paradise is the funniest shit I've ever seen while also not being a bad game. Just crack open some cold ones with the boys, blare Limp Bizket, and Kill Chaos.

I'll get a post out tomorrow. Got an assignment that's gonna eat up my time.
@PaulHaynek

My apologies for not saying anything. Probably won't be able to post until Tuesday, since college is finishing up on my end.

@Enkryption
Thankful for Herne's advice, Noboru would nearly instantly find Maggie once again, then his heart sunk again. Why...why did he have to keep on fighting his mother? She was pursuing him so persistently in her stone prison, that he was almost convinced that this was a cruel joke. As if some god out there enjoyed his heart being torn apart, each string binding his limbs to hesitate and to hold back. But right now, Maggie's life was on the line, and she seemed unable to run. Taking a step forward he-

"STOP! Noboru, something's wrong here..." the voice of Herne called out to him as he took another step forward, his gait turning into a sprint as he moved to try and save Maggie again.

"Something's not right, here dammit! Listen to me!" another warning rang out, this time licks of fire started to kiss upon the air, their embers lost to the man with a heart of glass and an arm made of wood. All at once, Noboru's instincts would be called back to attention as Maggie...exploded. Mana forced him to take a step back as the heat of it singed his face, the damage healed quickly due to Herne's abilities, but his legs found themselves as firmly planted as his grove was. For the first time since installing Herne, he felt...fear. A fight or flight response not derived of selfless heroic action, but one of a genuine sort of terror, the kind a child bears when confronted with a large predator like a bear.

His hesitation would give a gap for the terracotta soldier that was his mother to capitalize upon, her steps swift for her material composition as blade sliced through flesh, her blade becoming embedded in Noboru's side. Pain filled his senses, an anguished cry filling the air as he scarcely managed to stop the blade by gripping it hard with his wooden hand. Looking right into his mother's face, Noboru's fears only started to grow more and more.

"Get a grip! You're not gonna turn to stone while I'm with you. Now kick her down a peg and we'll get the heck out of here." Herne shouted, forced to move Noboru to keep him from faltering more, his body becoming relieved of the stony sword as he stepped back, his chain coiled tightly around the blade as he wrestled for possession of it with his mother. Clutching his side with his free hand, Noboru started to feel woozy, the experience of having his evisceration virginity taken from him leading only pain, nausea and confusion as he continued to play tug of war. Shakily, he looked at his mother with tears in his eyes welling up and spilling over. In a shaky voice that didn'tt carry any of the courage he had before, he said: "Mom, please...stop...I don't...I don't want to..." in a desperate unheard plea.

A smile tore at Caster's lips as she recieved the approval of the good Father, bowing politely before turning to answer to the Archer Master's request. That same warm smile remained, as she said: "I would be happy to see what a Modern Mage thinks of such archaic magic; I can't promise that you'll come away from it with some epiphany, but I'd love to speak when I return. Master, I'll be off," her last sentence directed to Joachim before Caster picked up the crinolette that composed the inside of her skirt to keep the skirt from trailing as she ran out, heading off to the outskirts of the Church's vicinity. Joachim looked at his command seals as she left, knowing that if anything came up somehow, he could simply order her to return.

For now, Joachim was left alone to mingle amongst the other masters as his servant did her thing. He had at least some faith in the moral compasses of his fellow Red faction members. Berserker seemed...odd, but well-meaning, given that she seemed to be disinfecting things to keep them from being sick. The underground labyrinth was something to consider; Perhaps Caster could make use of it for something. He didn't really know all that much about her magecraft, save for the name and general description available from his studies. For now, he would deposit his and Caster's luggage, flopping down on his bed for a moment to look up at the ceiling. This was all so...fast. It was weird. Yet...undeniably kind of exciting in its own way. A war for a wish...even if there was risk of death, anybody would be willing to risk anything for that, right? Taking a moment to sort out his things, he left Caster's stuff on the bed for her to decide what to do with, before heading out of the room. He had some people to get to know.

Aksha would be busy with Caster once she returned, and as such he figured that he would try and speak to Rider's master while his servant was away with Archer. Approaching the rather plain looking Deiter from behind, Joachim made sure his footsteps could be heard. "Say, what do you think about the Greys? Like...why do you think they stole the grail?" he asked, trying to keep the conversation casual. "Just doesn't make sense for them to go through so much trouble to anger both the Church and the Association for one wish, even if it is the Root."

@King Cosmos

Caster hastily made her way around the perimeter of the church, her mage craft being channeled through glyphs laid beneath the snow and dirt, carved out with the use of bones etching from below. Yes; Bones. Rather than take the time to establish a barrier against a faction prone to being on the defensive, Caster was instead laying a rudimentary alarm alongside a relatively normal bounded field with the intent to hide the presence of the servants and masters held within. The bones of the long since fallen stirred beneath her as the ritual successfully concluded, establishing her promised defense as well as the guard dogs of the Black faction. Should any trespass upon the barrier, Caster could have her undead begin to dig beneath the perpetrators before ambushing them, thankfully having no short supply of corpses beneath the soil. Poland was the site of over a million deaths in World War II alone, after all.

The twitching of an animal caught Caster's eye as she concluded her ritual; A rat that had died out in the cold, starved and alone twitched to life once more, without a thought in its mind save for obedience to her. A caring smile crossed her lips as she crouched down, scooping the rat up between cupped hands. "Poor little one...your life was so soon snatched away from you. But you were devoid of purpose to begin with; Prey foolish enough to die in the open, rather in the confines of a warm hole. But, here...worry not. All things have a purpose when my work begins." she whispered into its unhearing ears, the being receiving its orders and scampering through the snow to carry it out;

Run deep into the woods, and attempt to escape. Whether it made it out or not mattered little to caster, she simply needed a way to gauge the enemy's defenses, and figured a small rodent would serve better than a familiar here. With her work concluded however, Caster wiped her hands clean in the snow, before heading back in spirit form.

It would take her little time to meet with Aksha, wherever he might be. Materializing in whatever room he was finding himself in, she would make herself at home in a seat, smiling at him. "So, what would you like to know, Master of Archer?"

@Reflection
Expect a post from me tomorrow sometime. Got a research paper and a midterm that got pushed back because of North California being on fire all last week.
Post is up! Hope that gives everyone plenty to work with for interactions.

Really sorry if Mushi being injured prior to this doesn't work for you Gecko, I can change it if need be, it just felt more organic to have her in the mushroom hospital at the moment.

Okay, expect a post from me tomorrow guys. Really sorry about the long ass wait and the constant apologies.
Apologies for the wait.

...Also man, now I kinda wanna change Caster's text away from bubblegum pink, but I dunno what'd fit her, since purple is taken.
