Damian listened to Eliza speak as he continued searching for his own clues, but turning up nothing of note, though he did note that for having burnt the entire building, only the front was noticeably destroyed.
"Well, if I had to hazard a guess about what kind of person can tank a firebolt and keep coming, I'd say, like you said a cursed person. Or magically enhanced. Other than that arm bone, it bothers me only the front half of the building was destroyed by the fire with minimal damage to the back." He took a moment to review the damage again.
"Call it a hunch, but someone let it burn to be convincing, but not long enough to be convincing enough." He sighed, looking over the hut again.

Hunter's eyes widened when she unleashed the breath attack and he only had enough time to throw up the front of his Jade Egg, though he still took the brunt of the blow and had several chunks blown out of his armor before the egg shell formed. As the attack ended, he found himself up above her in the air and grinned.
"Incoming! Jade Dragon's Crush Claw!" His hand became enveloped by green stone and he dropped down towards Amaya.
He knew she'd dodge so he followed it up by giving chase and attacking with a flurry of Steel Fists. As good as the match with Zero had been, sparring with Amaya had a different element of fun about it. After throwing the last punch, he back flipped away, beginning to breath heavily.

A few minutes after Jackie left, Jack stood and went down to check on Aria, noting her look of careful observation.

James had been in the middle of looking at some enchanted mail when Cody spoke up.
"Well, the best mail we could get you is both expensive and rare, so we'll have to settle for something enchanted. Steel is the ideal metal, and that's what I'm looking at now so if you'll ju-" At that moment, he heard three things. The first was the sound of armor being knocked over, which had him reaching a hand for the hilt of his sword as he looked up, Ariel's voice, which had him relaxing, and then Nolan's bad attempt at a joke, which had him shaking his head.
"Nolan, Ariel, glad to see you two are no longer hiding from the public eye, or specifically Marlene's. As for the armor, we're here to find Cody a good set. He's learning sword play to balance out his all defensive magic with an attack option, but if he's swinging his sword around, from what I can tell from yesterday, he can't cast his magic, so I figured something to protect him when he can't use his magic is good." It was then that Nolan's attitude towards Ariel really clicked with the paladin.
"Wait a moment, are you two dating?"
